Danny Designs: Gears of War 4: Horde Mode/Season Pass Critique (Part 2/2)

Welcome to part 2 of my Danny Designs series on Gears of War 4's multiplayer! In this segment I talk about Horde 3.0 and the controversial Season Pass. Part 1:

Gears of War 4 multiplayer map Glory vs Gears of War 3 map, Thrashball.

One of the latest maps released in Gears 4 is Glory. After playing it I immediately got a familiar feeling. I went back to the top down and realized that it has a very similar layout to the Gears 3 map Thrashball.

- Similar weapon layout (Grenades, smoke/shock,Explosive weapon)

- Turret on Glory is where the Mulcher/Mortar spawns in Gears 3

- Dropshot/Boomshot spawn is an uncovered version of the grenade spawn in Gears 3.

Glory improves on the layout from thrashball, but it does lack some of the character. I also really dislike the turret on Glory. I would have strongly preferred the Mulcher, as it has a wind up time and limited ammo, resulting in a respawn timer, encouraging more strategic gameplay when defending/attacking the fountain area.
