Jack Spicer

The nefarious nitwit called Jack Spicer is a self-proclaimed super villain who, despite his foolishness and neuroses, is a rather brilliant inventor.  The lad comes from a wealthy family and has been terribly neglected by his parents, resulting in recurrent panic attacks and a grossly diminished sense self esteem. He has attempted to cope with these difficulties by turning to villainy and hoping to show his worth by becoming the world’s greatest evil genius.   

Utilizing a bevy of remarkable self-made devices (including such items as helicopter backpacks, ray guns, and dozens of mechanical minions) Jack has sought out to obtain the powerful Shen Gong Wu, mystical weapons crafted by the legendary Grand Master Dashi.  He released the spirit of the evil witch, Wuya, and has aided her in battle against the noble Xiaolin Warriors.  

While most frequently a villain, there have been instances where Jack Spicer has shown honor and pooled resources with the heroes so to achieve the superordinate goal of preventing disaster.  The good-hearted Omi has seen that Jack is capable of turning away from villainy and has tried to convince him to do so... thus far to no avail.

The young villain is voiced by actor Danny Cooksey in the initial Xiaolin Showdown series and by actor Eric Bauza in the subsequent Xiaolin Chronicles. Jack first appeared in the debut episode of the Xiaolin Showdown animated series, airing on November 1st, 2003.

I Totally Would Love For Danny Cooksey To Voice Dark Phantom

I know it already has a dub but one with a union cast because Danny Cooskey totally fits Dark Phantom and could give him some good screams. Just look at Dave from Dave the Barbarian and Jack Spicer. Also again guy looks he would be a scream king.

Francis Stone was a vicious bully and a gang leader.  He seemed to hold particular animosity toward his classmate, Virgil Hawkins, whom he picked on mercilessly.  Indeed it was this bullying that led to Virgil's brief involvement with a rival gang so to garner protection from Francis.

With tensions boiling to an all time high, the various street gangs of Dakota converged on the dockyards for an all out brawl. In the midst of this conflict, Francis, Virgil and many others were exposed to the mysterious Quantum Vapor.   This bestowed the various individuals with metahuman powers.  Francis obtained pyrokinesis, the ability to generate and mentally control fire.  

Adopting a new alias as Hotstreak, he plagued the city of Dakota as a super villain and came into frequent conflict with Virgil (who had become the electrical superhero, Static).  Along with activities as a solo villain, Hotstreak also acted as a member of the Meta-Men, the Meta-Breed and periodically partnered with Ebon. Hotstreak and Ebon eventually turned on one another, fighting over a serum that could potentially amplify their powers. The battle resulted in an explosions aboard a boat and it remains unknown whether or not Hotstreak survived the ordeal.

Actor Danny Cooksey voiced Hotstreak with the villain first appearing in the series premiere of Static Shock.

The picture below is the closest we’ll probably ever get to a cast photo for Fallout 1, it’s the voice actors for Tiny Toon Adventures (and a couple other people in the production). If you want to play a little game, see how many of the people you can recognize who went on to Fallout 1 before I tell you:

There’s five VAs in total in FO1: Frank Welker (3rd person in top row) Charlie Adler (2nd person in middle row), Tress MacNeille (4th person, middle), Kath Soucie (6th middle), and Cree Summer (2nd person in bottom row).

It always amuses me that at least half, or maybe even more of the cast of the first 2 Fallouts would be and still mostly are associated with kids cartoons, and then in Fallout they put in some of the best goddamn performances in their entire decades-long careers… but since the first 2 Fallouts are still relatively niche, it goes kind of unnoticed.

Not to diminish their work on “kids cartoons”, of course, I don’t mean to scoff at it, they can come with their own challenges! My point is the voice acting in FO1 and 2, but especially 1, is highly underrated and should be brought up more in discussions around good voice acting in games.
