hello, i have a poly request. danny ric x single mom and they're just starting their relationship and max somehow finds his way into it and in the beginning it's smooth sailing just him and his two "friends" and the kid but then he beginns to question his feelings and gets insecure etc. but danny and reader notice it and they talk and in the end they're one (not so) little happy family?
Thanks for this request!! It's the first time I write something about Max and Daniel, it's a little short so I hope you like it!!
Three plus one | dr3 & mv1
Summary: your partner's best friend somehow enters your relationship Warnings: insecure Max and fluff.
request by: @kigieri
You and Daniel have been dating for a couple of months now, at first it was quite awkward for you to date, being a single mom and going on a date looking for your ideal match it didn't feel good, or at least not to you. But when you introduced him to your little Ally it was like everything was in its perfect place, Daniel is someone quite nice and who can easily adapt to everything and, honestly, you were grateful for that.
So now you find yourself in the comfort of your apartment as you make a light dinner for the three of you and while he plays with Ally to build with blocks.
“Wow Ally, you're a real pro at this! You're going to be a champion builder one day!” Daniel laughs.
Ally giggles. “I'm gonna build big towers!” she smiles.
You smile, leaning against the counter. Your heart melts watching them interact. “She's so happy with you Dan” you say softly.
Daniel turns to look at you. “I know, right? It’s incredible, it's like she’s got so much energy.” he smiles warmly.
A comfortable silence falls between you. You feel a blush creeping up your cheeks. “Yeah, she's a whirlwind.” you giggle.
Daniel gets up and walks towards you. “Hey, are you okay babe? You seem a bit quiet.”
You look down, avoiding his gaze. “I’m fine. Just... thinking.” you say softly.
He cups your face gently. “Look at me. You can tell me anything, you know that.”
You meet his gaze, your heart pounding. “It’s just that... everything is moving so fast... I mean, I’ve never felt this way before.” you say hesitantly.
He smiles reassuringly at you. “I know it’s a lot to take in baby. But I want you to know that, I’m in this for the long haul. I really care about you and Ally.”
You feel a lump forming on your throat. “Thank you Danny... That means a lot to me!” you smile shyly.
Daniel pulls you into a gentle hug.
“I promise, I’ll always be there for you both, okay?” he says in a whisper and you close your eyes, feeling safe and loved.
***
A few weeks later, the atmosphere is still warm and inviting. Ally is a little sleepy as she snuggles up next to you while you and Daniel are on the couch, watching a movie.
“Can you believe she’s already learning to count? It's amazing.” he says while smiling.
You giggle. “I know, right? It feels like just yesterday she was crawling. Now she's a big girl!”
Suddenly there’s a knock at the door and Daniel gets up to answer it while you put Ally to her bed.
“Hey Max! What a surprise, come in mate.” says Daniel, somewhat surprised by Max's presence.
Max enters the apartment, he’s clearly out of breath. “Sorry, I just finished a run around the block. I hope I'm not bothering you, I just wanted to pay you a visit.” He says, scratching the back of his neck.
Daniel smiles. “No mate, it’s okay. You can come by here whenever you want!”
You come back from putting Ally to bed and greet Max, the atmosphere in the apartment is nice and light, you find out that Max is a pretty calm person despite all the things they always say about him.
Over the next few weeks, Max becomes a regular visitor in your apartment. His charm and easygoing nature make him a natural with Ally and you couldn't be more grateful for it. However, things start to shift subtly...
One night you and Daniel were alone on the couch.
“Have you noticed Max lately? He seems... off, I don't know what's wrong with him.” you say a little concerned about the situation.
Daniel nods at your words. “Yeah, I have noticed... He’s been quieter, more withdrawn... Something is definitely wrong.”
You two drink simultaneously from your cups of tea, there’s a long pause as you both contemplate the situation.
Suddenly you speak up. “I think he might be feeling insecure about something... I don't know, but my hunch tells me so.”
“Maybe love. He’s always been so confident and awesome.” he says in a whisper.
A few days later, Max is in the apartment and Daniel decides to talk to him... Or rather, Max decides to confess.
“I don’t want to mess things up mate... I just don't know what's wrong with me.” he say hesitantly.
“Hey, we’re friends, right? You can tell me anything mate, you know that neither I nor y/n are going to judge you.” he says while putting a hand on Max's shoulder.
Max let out a sigh. “Well, the thing is that... I think I’m falling for you both. And I know it’s complicated, and I don’t want to come between you and I care about Ally too.”
Daniel is quiet for a moment, searching for the necessary words to tell Max.
Daniel smiles. “Max, I care about you a lot. And I think we’re building something special here, maybe we should talk about this with y/n.”
Later that evening, the three of you have a heart-to-heart conversation. It’s a vulnerable and emotional exchange, but in the end, you decide to explore this new dynamic together.
“I love you both guys and I think we can make this work! Also Ally will be super happy that you are here with us day and night.” You say with a smile on your face as you hold Max and Daniel's hands.
As the night deepens, the three of you share a tender moment, realizing that love can take many forms. A new chapter begins, filled with both excitement and uncertainty.

— daniel ricciardo being a simp for you.
he has such a unique and pure way of making you laugh; with silly jokes, exaggerated imitations of characters or people you don’t like, tickling you until you’re out of breath, leaving kisses all over your face while holding you as close to him as possible… he’s a ray of sunshine in your life.
he always makes eye contact with you as you speak; it doesn’t matter if you’re just rambling about your day or telling him some funny story from your childhood, he looks at you intently while caressing your hand. he wants you to know that he is paying attention to everything you are saying, that he is listening to you and everything you say is important to him.
when he needs to leave early because of work, he tucks the blankets around you and leaves a kiss on your forehead, then lightly caresses your cheek. he prepares your breakfast and leaves a note beside it; an explanation of why he needed to leave early and when he comes back. (he also draws two birds on a tree branch with a heart around them both. the biggest bird - that’s him - has heart eyes as he looks at you)
he buys all your favorite things; he ensures that your house always has those favorite beauty products of yours or those sweets you love the most. and he also likes to spoil you; he buys things he thinks you’ll like and things you’ve looked at in the shop window or on the internet. you think he forgot about it, but you’re delightfully surprised to see him with a bright smile as he hands you a gift package when he gets home; he just hugs and kisses you, saying that you deserve so much more than this gift.
he writes important things and puts them on a magnet on the fridge; like birthdays of your mutual friends, date nights —and he puts a heart around the date to demonstrate that it’s your day — and even appointments with dentists or doctors so you don’t forget.
he always plans a date for the two of you to have some time together. he plans everything perfectly because he wants you to feel as happy and comfortable as possible, so everything you like and admire the most will be there. and he doesn’t let anything or anyone get in the way of this night, because it’s all dedicated to you and only you.
he loves spending time with you and moments like that are so precious and unique to him. he doesn’t care if you’re just lying down caressing each other while watching some bad movie on netflix or going for a fun walk around town, any time with you is perfect for him.
when you go out and you’re carrying lots of bags, he’ll take them out of your hand and hold them for you until you get home.
he is the type of boyfriend who will use your purse as if it were his and he loves that. but when you go to buy a new purse, he wants you to buy one that suits him.
he has a space in his backpack that are just things for you; meds, band-aids, your favorite candies etc. and he also always has a hair elastic on his wrist just in case you need it; and in fact it is he who ties your hair for you - he loves taking care of your hair.
he always comes home with something for you; your favorite flower, that book you’ve wanted for a while, your favorite food or candy.. he always wants to please you.
before leaving the house he hugs you tightly, leaving a kiss on the top of your head before taking your face with both hands and kissing your forehead and finally your lips. you have to remind him to go otherwise he will be late; he just can’t stop leaving soft kisses all over your face. and, with a smile, he says “i love you, i’ll be back soon, love” before finally leaving.
he has a necklace with your initials and he never takes it off - or hides it. in every photo or interview he appears with your initials and his proud smile says enough.

hi !! could you please write hcs about dating daniel larusso from karate kid ?? thank you 🫶
ೃ༄ Lola
daniel larusso dating hcs
warnings: not beta or proof read
lets you ride on the back of his bike. hes not opposed to taking you to and from places in the slightest—he’ll even encourage you to loop your arms around his waist (so you dont get hurt, of course. totally not because it makes him giddy.)
passes you notes during class. they usually consist of trivial observations and invitations to go out; he might ask for answers, if youre covering a topic hes particularly bad at.
his love language is physical touch and words of affirmation. he reassures and compliments you daily, keeps his hands on you whenever he physically can.
hes especially fond of kissing your cheek, for some unknown reason. he does it as both a greeting and farewell—its a bit of a ritual between you.
shows off his karate once he starts making notable progress. he enjoys the validation, finds that it motivates him further.
asks you to accompany him to prom. he places a lot of effort into his proposal—finds a pretty spot by the shore, buys your favourite flowers, puts together a small poster, etc.
wins you the prizes at local fairs/golf n’ stuff. you have more than a few stuffed animals from him compiled in your closet—he likes to call them your ‘children’.
hesitant to open up about the situation with johnny. he doesnt want to worry you; if you mention it, he’ll brush it off and insist its not a big deal. even when it shows, through blood and bruises and whatnot, he denies it.

pairing: daniel x reader (love actually)
summary: your neighbor is very enthusiastic about his new hobby, and you're tired.
a/n: there is no last name that i could find for daniel which really sucks </3 anyways i want to smooch him
You're going to kill them. You're actually going to commit homicide, perhaps you'll even take one of those damn drumsticks and use it as the murder weapon. One through the eye would be a good start, right? You'll stick the other one where the sun doesn't shine.
Your slippers scratch noisily against the pavement leading up to your neighbors' front door, and you hear the incessant drumming grow louder the closer you get to their house. Finally you're on the porch, and you think something in your ears may have ruptured by now.
You raise a fist to the door, but quiet, polite knocking won't be heard over the racket inside. You have to pound against it instead, and you'd cringe at the aggression if it weren't necessary.
Ten seconds pass, and you're almost convinced that you've gone unheard despite your frantic knocking. The chilly winter air stings your ankles where your pajama pants have rucked up near your thighs, and you shimmy them back down your legs to rid your skin of goosebumps. Your sleep shirt is warm but not snow-worthy, and you seriously consider giving up to dive back into your warm bed. But sleep won't come unless the drums cease, and you're determined to get your rest.
You're nearing the twenty second mark, close to driving your car straight through their front door just to be heard, but you hear the soft click of a lock, almost inaudible over the drumming, and the door swings open. A rush of warm air hits you and your bones ache with cold, but you're quickly distracted from any trivial concerns such as hypothermia when you see the man standing in front of you.
He's nearly as tall as the doorframe, but he's got an air about him that's so gentle you'd have expected him to be a mouse in a kids' cartoon. His face is kind and his smile only helps, a soft, welcoming curve that feels just as cozy as the inside of his home.
Suddenly, the drumming doesn't seem so bad.
"Hello," He greets, his voice a deep timbre that carries warmth but not heat, a lilt to it that's not common in your region, "Can I help you?"
If you'd known you would be faced with the human embodiment of a crackling fireplace, gentle and cozy and irresistible, you might have chosen more respectable attire than pajamas. As it stands, you're on his front porch in slippers and flannel pants, so you inhale and square your shoulders, powering on regardless.
"Hello," You return the formality, desperately searching for some of the guiding fury you'd felt only seconds ago, "I know it's broad daylight, but I worked the night shift last night, and- well, I was trying to get some sleep. I was wondering if the aspiring musician could postpone their practice for a little while?"
When you get to the point of your visit the man's face drops, his lips turning down and his eyes glinting with something akin to worry. It's sweet and undeserving of the rage you'd wanted to inflict on him when you'd first set out, and you tamp down guilt that tries stabbing at your heart.
"Uh, give me just a moment," He chuckles weakly, still supported by background percussion, "I'd call for him to stop but he wouldn't hear me. Wait, uh- y'can step in if you'd like," He steps away from the door, holding it open for you. You feel awkward accepting the invitation, but you'd feel worse declining it, so you let him usher you inside, relishing the warmth that surrounds you as he shuts the door on the cold outside.
He starts down the hallway and you linger in the entryway, stuck between looking around and keeping to yourself. You finally give and glance to your left, catching sight of a framed picture on a table in front of a trinket tray.
"Sam-o," The man calls, but despite being right outside his door, the drummer doesn't hear him, "Sam! I'll-" He turns back towards you, a sheepish grimace on his face, "I'll go in."
"Right," You nod, happy to turn back towards the photo you'd seen earlier while he wrangles who you're sure is a very surly, very rebellious teenager in the midst of his rock 'n' roll phase.
The picture is of the man and a little boy, presumably his son, taken on a dock overlooking a lake. The boy is holding a fish that's almost too small to be seen, but his grin is wide, making up for the less-than-impressive catch. He's clearly proud of himself, and the man looks to be as well, holding him up with an equally large smile.
They look like a very happy family, and your heart beats faster at the endearing display. The drums cease from the other room, and you hear muffled voices take their place.
You notice more photos of the boy scattered around, but no other children; perhaps he's an only child. You don't have time to evaluate much more, though, because the man returns, and tucked beneath his arm is the boy from the pictures.
Where you were expecting a jaded seventeen-year-old rockstar, you see a four-foot batman, the black-and-grey hoodie zipped up over blue jeans. His apologetic grin is very unlike the surly protector of Gotham, though, and you consider telling his father to buy him a CareBears sweatshirt next time.
"Hello," He nods, voice soft but polite as his dad stands beside him, "I'm sorry my drumming woke you."
"He's practicing for a big showcase," His dad informs you, a large hand squeezing the boy's shoulder encouragingly, "But he can practice tomorrow."
"Oh," You're nearly lost for words, caught in a whirlwind of unexpected fondness for the pair, "I- I don't mean to slow you down, I'm sorry. It's just that the Christmas season is very busy at work, and I need to be in tomorrow morning. So- uh, my schedule is a little thrown off."
"It's alright," The man smiles, kindness etched into every crease of his face, "Sam has plenty of other opportunities to practice. And I'm- Daniel, by the way."
Daniel holds his free hand out, the other still comfortingly closed around Sam's shoulder. You're quick to join them and the handshake is firm, Daniel's hand much larger than your own, and much warmer to boot.
"My goodness, you're frozen," He chuckles sympathetically, a chill surely lingering on his skin the same way his warmth does on yours, "Would you like a cup of tea? I can brew chamomile, it'll make you sleepy."
Basic etiquette would be to kindly refuse, to not overstay your welcome, and to thank the boy for postponing his drum practice. But your still-racing heart is not one to listen to logic or etiquette, and you find yourself bashfully accepting his offer.
"Oh- um, if it's no trouble. Chamomile sounds nice."
"No trouble at all," He smiles, patting Sam on the shoulder, "Would you like some tea, Sam-o?"
The boy's button nose scrunches, and he shakes his head, "No thanks. I'll be in my room."
Daniel chuckles, and you find yourself grinning with shared amusement as the boy retreats.
"No drumming!" Daniel calls after him, and Sam turns in the doorway, teasing exasperation on his features.
"Alright, no drumming. Y'know, I'm trying to get a girl to fall in love with me," Sam informs you, speaking with the matter-of-factness that you'd expect from a professor, not an elementary schooler, "But I think learning to play the drums was a waste of time."
Daniel's brow furrows, probably lamenting the hours of noise he'd endured for nothing "Oh, why?"
"I could have just offered her tea instead," The boy grins, slipping into his room before either of you can stop him.
His childishly brazen comment leaves you and Daniel stiff with awkwardness, and you feel his eyes upon you. You meet his incredulous gaze with one of your own, and a breathy laugh escapes from his lips as he lingers near the kitchen.
"Well. Perhaps I've shown him Titanic one too many times as of late. But if you're going to fall in love with me, I think I should know your name first."
His smile is cheeky and you run with it, letting him lead you to a kitchen island. You sit at one of the stools as he occupies himself with a kettle, retrieving a box of chamomile tea from a nearby cupboard.
"I'm Y/N," You laugh, "And if you're able to help me get some sleep before work in the morning, there's a very good chance that I will fall in love with you."

helloOoo can i req for eli and daniel x f!reader childhood friends to lovers but make it separate (if it's not too much to ask :D) please && thank u 😸💐
a hopeless romantic all my life
characters: eli jang, daniel park, fem!reader warnings: bullying in daniel's part, swearing, eli's past is revealed a/n: - THE WAY I SQUEALED SO LOUDLY WHEN I SAW THIS REQUEST AKJSLKJADSFJKLFADKJLSJLKADFS - whenever i read eli's backstory + hostel i just want to cry T-T - DANIEL IS SO CUTE!!!! - i hope i did the childhood friends to lovers trope justice! - feedback is appreciated!
"Who's that girl over there?" Zack tilted his head, pointing with his chin to a remotely familiar student. Daniel squinted his eyes out of habit before they sprung wide open in half-surprise, half-delight. Leaping out of his chair (and getting yelps and shouts in response to the shriek of the chair), Daniel practically dashed over to you, arms open.
"Y/N!" He squealed, glomping you in a hug before realizing two things. 1. he was in a new body. 2. HE WAS IN A NEW BODY
"Get off me!" Within seconds, he felt a deathly grip on his wrists, and his vision blurred before his body collided with the floor. Daniel let out a groan, internally slapping himself for being so incredibly stupid. "Who the fuck are you?"
...It's definitely strange being on the other side of things. To Daniel, you were his childhood friend, his sword and shield, his protector against the many, many bullies that tormented him throughout his life. He was chubby and to society, he was only a piggy to command. But you? You were the first to see him as a human, and even a friend. You were a miracle!
A miracle who's...currently chewing him out.
"Who the heck do you think you are?! What kind of person just randomly glomps someone else? A stranger no less!" You spat out, whacking him on the shoulder for good measure. Daniel only gave you his cheesy smile but you didn't even blink or blush.
Did he think you would believe his next statement? Nah. But is he going to try? Yeah!
What could personally go wrong?
"I'm Daniel Park! Remember? From school?"
You blinked. Once twice.
"In your fucking dreams!"
Huffing, you walked away. Seriously? You were just trying to find the principal's office, not encounter some weirdo in J-High? God really doesn't like you.
In almost a dazed-like fashion, Daniel made his way back to his little friend group, barely acknowledging the shouts of confusion and the wild shaking of his shoulders (thanks to a combination of Zoe and Zack.)
"Who the hell was that?"
"What was that all about?!"
"Danny, who is that woman???"
Even Jay, who was quiet most of the time, was gesturing wildly between Daniel and the mysterious girl. Heartbroken - he genuinely thought there could be something between him and Daniel...only to be crushed in such a way.
"She's..." Daniel let out a silly sigh and everyone knew. "She's...somebody close to me."
His eyes fluttered. His cheeks flamed with bright red. Daniel's face was placed in the palm of his hand and he leaned into it.
Everyone knew. She wasn't just anybody to Daniel Park.
She was his crush.
Eli dashed through the streets, not giving two shits about the way he was absolutely dirtied with mud and sweat and the glares people sent to him. His eyes were wide and they scanned all over the streets for any trace of his baby girl.
YennaYennaYennaYennaYennaYennaYenna
"Up! Up!"
Eli halted in his footsteps, almost falling to the ground before running through the narrow alleyways. Teeth bared and hands itching, he would show no mercy to whoever took his baby girl.
"Yes, baby," An oddly familiar voice laughed. "Up it is!"
Yenna's laughter responded in kind.
"YENNA!" Eli roared, dashing the moment he saw his baby girl. He rudely snatched it out of the unknown person's hands, frantically scanning her for injuries. Her yellow dress was muddy, but fine nonetheless. She had bits of dust on her knees and arms, but no scratches.
He almost fell to his knees upon realization, letting out the breath he didn't know he was holding in. Eli buried his cotton-candied-colored head into Yenna's body, hands squeezing her tight.
"You're fine," He murmured, more to himself than to Yenna. "You're fine."
"Erm- sir?"
Shit- he forgot all about the nice lady that helped Yenna. Jumping to his feet, Eli gave the woman a strict 90 degree bow.
"Thank you so much for taking care of Yenna! I don't know how to repay you, I don't have money, but please! From the bottom of my heart, thank you-"
"E-Eli?"
That voice...he couldn't be.
Eli's shoulders trembled when he slowly unfolded from his bowing position and his breath was taken away from him for the second time. His eyes grew wet from unshed tears and the hand not holding Yenna came up to caress your cheek, shaking.
"Y/N..." He breathed out and you nodded, with a sweet grin that never failed to make his heart pound.
"Is that you?" You opened your arms and like the old times, Eli eagerly hugged you, careful to not squish Yenna in the process. The babygirl babbled, grinning as she grabbed onto your clothes. "Eli, it's been so long!"
He nodded and just hugged you tighter. It's been so long indeed...the last time he saw you, he was still the scrawny survivor of the alleyways, with his messy black hair and underfed body.
"I've missed you."
Eli Jang's confession was soft, but you heard every word.
His heart jumped when you just pulled him closer, trying to melt his body in yours.
"I've missed you too."
Before Heather, there was you.

DRUNKEN DAZE ?! - drunk daniel, eli, ryuhei with reader who takes care of them
DANIEL was the type of drunk that had bipolar tendencies and the occasional black out drunkness. hes lucky that he's cute when delirious.
"alright buddy, up the steps!" you held daniel's weight on your body and these were the times you wishes you didn't have steps to your house. "nghhh... you're so lovelyy~" daniel slurred his words as he rubbed his face in your neck.
"daniel if you love me so much stop being a deadweight" daniel was so heavy, all those muscles were adding up in this moment.
it was only a few seconds after your words that daniel started to sob into your shoulder. you could feel his tears soak into your shirt and you groaned.
"im- i'm sorryy! i'll be a better boyfriendd"
"WHY DID YOU EVEN START DRINKING WITH ZACK"
ELI doesn't drink normally but when he did. he was so extroverted and likely did a strip tease for his non-existent audience. it was time to babysit him and yenna.
you carried yenna in one arm while struggling to keep eli from taking off his shirt. "eli stop trying to strip in public!" you grunt in between your teeth "you're going to jail for public indecency and i'm gonna have to bail you out"
yenna threw up her hand and hugged your cheek. eli getting dragged by the bottom of his shirt, twisted around your fists. "y/nnn, my shirt is gonna break off" he giggled.
"eli- shut up."
he pouted and tilted his head. "you're so cute when your angry" he laughed at your face. hugging you tightly, you struggled against his hold.
he kept hugging you throughout the night. the affectionate drunk he was.
RYUHEI drinks a lot. out of the three he's the one you should stay away from drunk because he will try to get into your pants. unapologetically.
"ryuhei get your hands off my chest" you slapped his hand away. the blonde only placed his hand on yours, and batted his long eyelashes. "is this you trying to seduce me?" you raised an eyebrow.
"don't you want me too~" your mouth went agape as he kept caressing your jaw. his sultry voice was so close to your ear you could hear his breath.
this was inside of vivi's club while you were in a vip room. "there's no one around here" you could feel his fingers slowly start trailing down. "oh? is that so" you smiled at ryuhei. before he flew back from a punch.
"IN YOUR DREAMS BITCH"

≛ 𝙰/𝚗: hello there. my first daniel work, i'm exited!! feel free to let me know what you think of it.
≛ 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚍 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚝: 350
The sigh of Daniel opens a big grin to your face. For a while now, he's not been going to school, and you were worried sick. You felt helpless not knowing if he was okay.
"Danny!" You call him from the school's gate.
He quickly spots you, waving his hand.
"Hi." He mouths.
You can't help the warm feeling in your tummy when he walks towards you. You grow more impatient by the second, so you start to run in his direction.
Daniel looks confused, but you don't give him time to think, pressing your body against his roughly, tangling him with your arms. He puts his arms around you, too, returning the hug.
"I missed you." He says. And you swear he's smiling.
"I missed you, too." You finally take your head off his chest — and stop sniffing his shirt — to look up at him. Hands locked together around him.
And there it is. That heavenly smile.
Damn, you really missed it.
Really missed him.
You suddenly shift off your daydream. "Are you okay?" You ask, recalling his absence. "Is everything okay?"
"Yes." He expresses with a smile. "Don't worry."
"Okay, but you'll tell me if there's anything I can do to help you, right?"
"Yes." Daniel nods truthfully.
He squeezes your body to his chest, bringing his hand to the back of your head, Daniel uses it to rest your face on his shoulder.
You close your eyes and the people around you disappear. For a moment, it's just you two, consuming one another.
But then the school bell rings and the moment is gone. Although his arms lay still on your body, you shift under it, trying to roll off of the hug.
The two of you should probably head to class.
"No…" He pouts. "Um, i– I just wanna hold you like this for a bit longer if that's okay."
Heat runs to your cheeks and you're glad he can't see your face. Your mouth is partly open and your face holds a soft frown.
He really got you bad, you think. But you couldn't care less if you looked stupid to anyone for simply loving him.
"Yeah, um." You clean your throat. "That's okay."

How would he treat you on your period . . .
Summary: How different Liam Neeson characters would care for you when you are having your period
Pairings: Qui-Gon Jinn x reader, Daniel (Love Actually) x reader, Bryan Mills (Taken) x reader
Warning: topical mention of periods (nothing graphic), F! reader, fluffy drabble
Qui-Gon Jinn (Star Wars)
Qui-Gon could sense it coming on before you, so he prepares
He makes sure to leave the Jedi temple early to meet you when you arrive home. He cooks you dinner and draws you a bath
He offers you space or cuddles depending on how you feel
To relax he braids your hair, and using your doe eyes on him, he turns his back to you so you can braid his hair
When you go to bed you can see he took the weighted blanket out from the linen closet and has a heating pad and glass of water at your bed side table
Qui-Gon offers you a spare pillow for your neck or back but you say to him, "your chest is the most comfortable spot to lay" and he obliges
He'll glide his hands up and down your arms until you drift off to sleep
Daniel (Love Actually)
Daniel is a bit out of practice with the inner workings of lady parts since his wife's passing and being a man in general (lol)
Before you are set to go over to his place he runs to the drug store to make the effort of welcoming you to the flat, but boy is he lost
He'll go up and down the feminine hygiene aisle with Sam looking like a lost puppy
"Aren't they all the same?" Sam would ask "You'd think, Sam-o, but somehow they are all slightly different," is all Daniel could respond with
After some time, he would just take a guess on a product he thinks he has seen in your purse and hopes for the best
Daniel will also ask Sam to run to the candy aisle and get a bag of what you like and Sam will come to the check out counter with five bags and say, "well she has one every month, and these are on sale"
When you arrive to his flat and see the grocery bags on the counter you tear up a bit and Daniel thinks he royally messed up but you pull him and Sam into a tight, gratitude filled hug
Bryan Mills (Taken)
For a man who is a former CIA agent and a rough exterior, he always has a soft spot for his girl, especially when you are feeling bloated or are hard on yourself
Bryan is not the 'comforting' type, however, he knows just his presence puts you at ease so he won't leave your side
You'll cling to him like a koala bear and all he can do is laugh it off since he secretly enjoys the closeness and not having to have his guard up with you
If you have trouble sleeping and reach for a benadryl tablet he will snag it out of your hands and read the drug facts on the side three times over before giving you the appropriate dosage. He is always cautious - especially when it comes to your well being
He'll offer a you a back or foot massage as you cozy up into bed, trying to be as helpful as he can to relive any tension you have knowing your cramps are out of his control
You opt to sleep in loose fitting shorts and one of his t-shirts and he loves it. There is something primal within him that loves to his girl wearing his clothes, dwarfing her frame
Before he can rest he makes sure nothing will disturb you through the night. Checking the thermostat, your alarm clock, drawing the blinds and cracking the window slightly. He breaths a sigh of relief to see you sound asleep and spoons you until morning

Second and Goal
Pairing: Daniel (Wing Pit SNL sketch character) x Female Reader
Word Count: 6,873
Rating: M - little bit of language, little bit of suggestion. Raider is a literal angel.
Summary: Year 2 of watching the Super Bowl with Daniel looks - and feels - a little different. Plans change, but you're both ready for it.
Author’s note:
I was very excited to get back to writing for these two, and with last week's Super Bowl pairing, it seemed like the right time. This sets up a couple other potential pieces for them, too... if anyone's interested.
The masterlist for this pairing can be found here in case you need or want to catch up. Enjoy!
You were glad that you’d volunteered to take a shower first. While Daniel was in the bathroom, you curled back up in his bed, closing your eyes and listening to the sound of the running water.
There wasn’t enough time to get truly comfortable.
Hopefully, though, there’d at least be time for the Excedrin that you’d taken to start working. Because today’s important. Groaning, you rolled onto your side - and directly into Raider’s body. He whined quietly, but didn’t move otherwise, and when you cracked your eye open, he was watching you, nose resting on his paws. “You keeping me company, buddy?”
Smiling, you reached out, using one hand to scratch between his ears.
The dog had taken to you almost immediately. When it had become common for you to spend the night at Daniel’s, he often chose to sleep on your side of the bed. Sometimes it was near the foot of it, just beyond the reach of your legs. Other nights, he squeezed in between your body and the mattress’ edge, forcing you backwards and even closer to Daniel.
You didn’t mind. He was more than happy to have you close, no matter how much he grumbled about the dog choosing you over him. “But you can’t help it, right?” He lowered his head, his entire body relaxing. “You’re just really smart.”
“You can take him home with you whenever you want.” Looking over toward the bathroom door, you saw that Daniel was leaning against the doorframe, a dark green towel wrapped around his waist. Even with your headache, you grinned at the sight of his bare torso, eyeing the droplets of water as they ran out of his hair and down the side of his neck. “Since you’ve pretty much already stolen him away from me.”
“Are you jealous?” Propping yourself up on one elbow, you continued to pet the dog. “Because if you are, you need to remember that you’re the one that encouraged me to make him like me by any means necessary the first time I came over.” Daniel rolled his eyes, running one hand through his hair and slicking it back and away from his face before he moved closer to you.
“I never said it wasn’t my own damn fault.” He sat down on the mattress, reaching out to pet the dog, too. “Why are you back in bed?”
“I have a headache.” You shrugged, closing your eyes briefly. “Just wanted to lay down for a couple minutes.”
“We don’t have to go.” He scooted closer, his hand moving from Raider’s side to your arm, one thumb - still warm from the shower - rubbing along your bicep. “We can stay home today.” You would have loved to do that - changing back into sweatpants and a hoodie and spending the rest of the day curled up on Daniel’s couch under a blanket. “We -”
“No.” Turning your head toward the pillow, you groaned and then peeked up at him. “We have to go. Will and Kyra are really excited, and they already figured the head count into the food and table reservations, so…” You sighed, forcing a smile. “We’ll go.”
It was more than that, though. You knew how much Daniel looked forward to Super Bowl Sunday every year. It was more than just a game to him; watching was tradition, and even though you would have gladly watched from the comfort of his place with just the two of you, being around others during the game added to the atmosphere.
“You’re thinking about it.” He leaned in, kissing a slow path over your cheek until he reached your mouth. “We can order pizza. Or wings. That place we got them from last year has another deal. Something about a pallet of ranch?”
“There are only two of us. That’s entirely too much ranch.” You spoke against his lips, fighting back a smile. “I’ll be fine, Daniel. Just don’t get too mad at me if I’m not as … talkative as I was last year.” He backed away slightly, laying his head against the pillow, but keeping his eyes on you.
“A whole year.” His hand slid up your arm and over your shoulder. “Maybe I should be glad you’re not feeling well. Last time you were friendly at a Super Bowl party, you ended up picking up a stranger. And there’s going to be a ton more of those at the bar today, so -”
“If I remember correctly, I didn’t pick a stranger up at the party.” Wrinkling your nose, you grinned. “I did that in the beer cooler.”
Daniel’s laugh filled the room, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he closed them. “You did. I was kicking myself for not getting your name before we said goodbye. Thought about you the whole drive to Charlie’s.”
“You’ve said that. And you also told me you contemplated switching all of your grocery shopping to that store. ” His lips twitched, the man’s smile small but still visible at your words. “I’ll be fine.” Pushing yourself upright, you cocked your head to the side. “I have to be for tomorrow, right?”
“You do.” He grinned at that, nodding. “I have everything planned … and none of it has to do with football or sports or chicken, or -”
Leaning in, you cut his words off with a quick kiss, Daniel’s lips soft against yours. He reacted before you could pull away, one of his hands curving around the back of your head to keep you close. But he didn’t deepen the kiss, just prolonged it until he hummed and backed off. “What?”
“I like it when you do that.” He stroked one finger over your cheek, eyes bright. “And I think I always will.” I know you do. “How long do you need to get ready?”
“My head feels better.” You took a deep breath. “Twenty minutes. Maybe less. And if we leave then, we’ll get there early enough that we aren’t fighting through a crowd to get to our tables.”
He grinned again, nodding. Daniel moved then, easing away from you and standing, one hand going to his waist to keep the towel in place. “Sounds good.” He turned away from the bed and you kept your eyes on him, focused on the flex of his back muscles. Hmm.
“You can let go of that towel, Daniel. I wouldn’t mind.” He laughed, the sound covered partially by the creak of the closet door hinges… but moments later the towel fell away, exposing the entire back of his body to you. Perfect. “Much better.” He paused before stepping into the space, looking back at you from over one shoulder.
“Exactly how many of the twenty minutes that you need are going to be spent staring at my ass?”
Covering your face with both hands you laughed hard, thankful that it didn’t bring the headache back full force. “None, you jerk.” Groaning, you pushed the blanket off and got out of the bed, too. “I’ll just do it tonight when we get home.”
“We don’t have to get up early tomorrow,” he continued to speak as he entered the closet, disappearing from view. “So you’ll have as much time as you need.” Good. You nodded, even though he couldn’t see you. Because I’m going to need a while.
—
But almost two hours later, you were beginning to doubt that you’d be staring at anything later that night that wasn’t the inside of your eyelids.
The headache hadn’t been bad for the first hour or so, and had even almost completely disappeared once you’d started eating. You’d made conversation with the people you knew - Kyra showing you pictures of their kitchen remodel, two of Daniel’s colleagues stopping by the table you stood at to ask how you’d been since it had been a few weeks since you’d seen each other at one of your trivia nights.
You’d attempted to have a drink, but after only a few sips, pushed the glass away and switched to water. That helped, and by the time the actual game started, you were feeling more like yourself and flitting between the four tables that had been reserved, going between conversations and paying attention to the oversized TV screens in the bar.
It was much different than it had been the previous year when it came to how close you and Daniel stayed throughout the night. He checked in with you; one hand pressed against your lower back as he kissed you on the temple, asking if you were ok, a raised eyebrow from across the table during a conversation, his expression only settling once you nodded and gave him a wink. But you weren’t constantly next to or speaking to each other, and despite the dull pain behind your eyes, you understood that that was a good thing - your relationship strong enough that neither of you felt threatened or possessive, even in a bar filled with people letting loose and having a good time. No, we know each other better than that.
Finishing your water, you reached for the pitcher to refill your glass and frowned when you realized it was empty. Before you could head to the bar for a refill, though, a tall plastic cup appeared in front of you at the same time someone’s body pressed against yours from behind, one arm curling around your waist. “Ginger ale. Thought it might help a little.”
You sagged against him almost immediately, both eyes closed. “Thank you.” Turning your head to kiss Daniel’s bearded cheek, you hummed and then moved your mouth closer to his ear. “Needed it. The bubbles - “
“The bubbles help. I know.” He pressed his palm against your stomach, nodding before he lowered his head and kissed the top of your shoulder. “You still good?”
“I’m alright.” Turning to look at him, you raised the cup and took a long drink. “Headache’s starting to come back, but it’s not terrible yet, and -”
“We can leave.” He chewed on his lower lip, eyes focused on your face. “We made an appearance, we can go. It’s not -” His attention was diverted as you heard a cheer, both of you looking up at the closest TV, where San Francisco’s kicker had just scored the first points of the game. “Shit.”
Despite your headache, you snorted, holding back a laugh. “No. If I need to leave, I can take an Uber home. It’s only like fifteen minutes away, and everyone’s already at their parties, so it’ll be cheap.” He looked like he wanted to say something but you didn’t let him, lifting one hand and pressing a finger against his lips. “I’m OK. I’d tell you if I wasn’t.”
“If you say so.” He shook his head, rolling his eyes. “Need anything?” You thought for a few seconds and then nodded, wrinkling your nose.
“Yeah. Will you get a new jersey next year? There are other players on the team, you know.” He looked offended for a few seconds and then sighed, placing both hands on your hips as you pressed a palm to the center of his chest. “Number 84 is pretty c-”
“As long as you don’t want to see me in a Kelce jersey, I’m… wait.” He narrowed his eyes, leaning in. “Watson? You -”
“We can talk about it later.” Smiling too, you closed your eyes and tilted your head, waiting for his kiss. It came - slow and soft, Daniel’s lips lingering against yours for long moments. He backed away, though he didn’t stop touching you. “But no, the last thing I’d want to see you in is that jersey, especially since -”
“I know.” He winked at you, both hands dropping. “I’m just being an asshole.” Curling your fingers briefly against the material of his jersey, you then pushed him away, turning back to reach for your cup.
You weren’t surprised that he’d been thoughtful enough to get you something else to drink, but you were very thankful, the carbonated liquid a nice change from the water. There was just over ten minutes left in the second quarter, and even though you felt alright, you knew that you weren’t going to make it the entire game at the bar. And the later it gets, the less he’s going to want to leave.
Taking another sip, you scanned the crowd, looking for Kyra until you found her, standing next to two women you only knew by sight. I’ll start my exit now, so when I end up leaving, it won’t be sudden. Working your way over to them, you reached out to touch your friend’s shoulder, her head whipping toward where you stood. “Hey. How’s it going? Did you eat? There’s -”
“I did.” Nodding, you pointed with the hand that held the cup. “Those potato skins? Amazing.” Kyra agreed, the woman pausing before she introduced you to the two she was talking to. Though they were friendly, Audrey - one of Kyra’s neighbors - was less so, her greeting almost cold. I didn’t do anything, though. So what… weird.
Only a few minutes later, Kyra led you away from the women and toward the exit, pulling you out onto the covered patio, where it was less crowded - and much quieter. “I’m sorry about her.” Kyra sighed. “She’s just little…” Scratching her head, she took a long swig from her beer. “She just got divorced a couple months ago and is looking to get back out and date. I told her there’d be a couple of our single friends here today, and she…” Kyra rolled her eyes. “She decided she liked one of the ones that isn’t single, and -”
“Daniel?” You laughed, narrowing your eyes. “Of course.” Your friend winced, looking around and then settling her gaze back on you. “I take it she saw him and I together and got upset?”
“Not upset. Disappointed is more like it. And she actually walked up to him and tried to talk to him, but he just…wasn’t having it.” She shrugged. “You got a good one. He was polite, but very quick to shut her down.” I know I did. It didn’t surprise you that he hadn’t entertained the woman’s flirting, but hearing your friend’s confirmation made you much more certain of your relationship’s foundation. “You don’t seem like you’re having fun, though. Is everything OK?”
“I’m not feeling well.” You decided to be blunt, sipping from your cup again. “I have a headache, and the noise isn’t helping. Daniel offered to stay home with me, but I know how much he wanted to come, so…” You frowned, clearing your throat. “I’m here, but I don’t know how long I’m going to make it.”
“Do you need me to take you home?” She leaned against the wall, concern evident in her expression. “I will. I love football, but I really don’t give a shit about this matchup, so -”
“No. It’s your party.” You finished the ginger ale, tossing the cup into the trash can beside you. “Stay. I’ll call an Uber, that way no one has to leave.” She opened her mouth to speak, but you continued. “Just because I feel like shit, I don’t want to ruin everyone else’s day.”
There was more cheering, and when you peeked at one of the TVs, you saw that San Francisco had scored again, widening their lead. Oh, he’s going to be so sad. “Will’s probably going nuts.” She rolled her eyes. “I should go in and check on him. He put money on the Chiefs, and -”
“Go.” You smiled, waving her off. “I’ll be back in in a minute. I’m going to check rides.”
She left you and headed back in, and as soon as she was gone, you pulled your phone out, navigating to the rideshare app. The fare was slightly more than you expected but still reasonable, and even though you knew it would have upset him, you considered ordering a car before going in to say goodbye. No. I can’t do that.
So instead, you headed back in, easing through the crowd and saying hello to a few people while you sought out Daniel. It took you a minute to find him among the sea of men in red jerseys, but when you did catch sight of your boyfriend, you beelined it to him. If I go soon, I can be home before the halftime show and watch it wrapped up in a blanket and -
“C’mere.” He took your hand before you could say anything, pulling you against his side. “You disappeared. I -”
“I went outside to talk to Ky.” Looking over at him, you took a breath. “I was explaining to her why I’m leaving. I just checked, and the rides -”
He moved before you finished, urging you toward the bar’s exit, but he stayed quiet until you were outside on the sidewalk. “You’re leaving?”
“Yes.” You held up a hand. “And you don’t have to come with me. Rides are cheap right now, so you can stay here and finish watching the game.” You paused, arching a brow. “If things stay the same as they are now, you’ll need other Chiefs fans around for some moral support.” He mouthed the word ouch, wrinkling his nose.
“Right to it, hm?” He scratched the side of his head, the strands of his hair slipping through his fingers. “That’s cold. Kick a man when his team is down.”
“I’m just going home so I can gloat in peace.” You laughed, the sound turning into a hiss and a wince as pain spiked against one temple again. Ow. “I -”
“I’m coming with you.” He stepped closer, reaching out to wrap his fingers around your arm. “No way I’m going to stay here and have a good time if -”
“No, Daniel.” Despite what you knew about Kyra’s friend’s interest, you wanted Daniel to stay at the party. “The whole point is that you wanted to watch the game with -”
“I want to watch it with you.” He frowned, saying your name. “Here or at home, it doesn’t matter. And I’ve read too many horror stories about people in rideshares that get taken advantage of. I’m not going to let you get into one and -”
“I’m going to feel like an asshole if you leave.” You were defeated, annoyance and anger vying with gratitude for your dominant emotional response. “It’s one day a -”
“You’re sick. It’s not like you want to go.” He pointed back at the bar, understanding etched across his features. “I’ll go inside and get our coats. Here.” He stuffed a hand into his pocket. “Take the keys and go sit. I’ll be right back.” You opened your mouth to argue, holding up a hand, but Daniel shook his head quickly, looping the carabiner on his keys over two of your fingers. “Don’t argue with me. You know I’ll win.”
“OK.” You didn’t want to fight; you just wanted to sit down. “Tell them -”
“We’ll tell them later. You already told Ky. It’s fine.” Leaning in, he kissed your cheek. “Two minutes.”
He disappeared back into the bar and you sighed and turned toward the parking lot. It was a short walk to the car, and when you sat down a few moments later, you sunk into the plush seat, groaning.
If Daniel were anyone else, you knew that you’d probably have to hear about how upset he was to have left the game before it was over once you were feeling better. But he’s not like that. You were thankful for him - thankful for the fact that even though Daniel had has interests, and was very vocal about doing the things he enjoyed doing, he never held grudges as revenge or brought things from the past up during the very few arguments that you’d had. It was different than in previous relationships, and you knew that you’d lucked out finding him.
The car door opened and so did your eyes, Daniel peeking his head in before sitting. “It’s me. You ok?”
“Yes.” Giving him a small smile, you straightened up. “Everything alr-”
“It is.” Daniel sat and pressed the ignition button, buckling his seatbelt, too. “Let’s get you home.”
—
You were settled on the couch before the halftime report ended, a blanket tucked around your shoulders. When Daniel reentered the room carrying two bottles of water and a handful of ibuprofen, you managed a large - and genuine smile. “I could have gotten that myself.”
“You were already sitting.” He shrugged, handing one of the bottles and the pills to you. “And I didn’t want you to miss the start of the performance. You’ve been talking about this for a week, and -”
“Listen.” Swallowing the medicine, you followed it with a long drag of water as Daniel sat next to you, propping both feet up on his coffee table. “You don’t get it. You weren’t a teenage girl when he got huge and My Way and U Remind Me came out. And have you seen him dance?”
“I have.” He wound an arm around your shoulders and urged you closer, so that you could rest your head on his shoulder. “But have you seen me dance?”
“Once or twice.” Looking up, you watched Daniel’s smile grow, his hand sweeping slowly over your blanket-covered shoulder. “But only when you’ve been drinking.” He laughed quietly, tightening his hold on you and mumbling that’s not true, but before you could reply, the TV switched back to the field, the lights dimmed.
Despite your headache you hummed along with the music throughout the performance, one of your hands moving from under the blanket to rest on Daniel’s thigh, that thumb arcing over the soft denim to the beat.
He sang along quietly during a few parts, catching you off guard, but you didn’t look away from the TV - until Daniel finally spoke up. “He’s really sweaty. Do you think that that bedazzled outfit is weighing him -”
“Be quiet, he’s taking his shirt off.” Leaning forward, you bit your lip. “I-”
“Wow, that headache seems to be much better now.” He sniffed. “I see how it is.”
“Shhh. I’m watching.” He laughed and then you felt his hand on your back, slowly working its way up and then back down. As Usher disappeared from the stage, you looked over at Daniel again. “Most exciting part of this game so far.”
“There’s still a whole half left.” He arched a brow. “Plenty of time left for more exciting things to happen.” He looked away, focusing back on the TV, but you stared at him, heart pounding. He’d willingly left the party on his favorite day of the year just because you weren’t feeling well. He’d pulled himself away from friends and unlimited food to spend the remainder of the game alone with you in his quiet, dark living room.
“Daniel, thank you for -”
“Is he on fucking roller skates?” Daniel leaned forward, blinking quickly. “When the fuck -”
You finally looked away and back at the screen, bursting out into laughter and rubbing at your forehead with one hand. “I don’t know but this is impressive. Is there anything he can’t do?”
“Yeah, apparently he hasn’t eaten a goddamn carb in like four years…” Daniel trailed off, still watching. “It’s unfair, right? That one person’s that good at so many things, and -”
“Valentine’s Day is in a couple days. I could buy you some skates. You can learn, too.” You smiled as his head swiveled toward you, a scowl on his face.
“My shoe size is 11, thanks.” He only managed to keep his expression flat for a few seconds and then both of you laughed together, Daniel pulling you back against his side as the song switched again. “This playlist is like all of the college nights out at the bar of my nightmares coming back to haunt me.”
“Those were dark times.” He released you and you used the opportunity to re-wrap the blanket around your shoulders. “Do you remember Party Rock Anthem? That was a little later, but …”
“Unfortunately.” He sighed and shuddered. “I’m so glad we only hang out in bars where the volume is kept at a reasonable level now.” You snorted, scooting back next to him, and his arm went back across your shoulders as the performance came to an end. “What year did this even come out?” He did a quick search, scoffing as he read the screen of his phone. “Twenty years ago. Can you believe -.”
“So…. An AARP membership and roller skates for Valentine’s Day. Got it.” He was quiet as the TV switched back to commercials, but then Daniel said your name again, waiting until you were looking at him to continue.
“You’re welcome. You don’t need to thank me, but you’re welcome. It’s just a game. I can watch it anywhere.” He leaned in, pressing his lips to the center of your forehead. “As long as it’s with you.”
The two of you had gotten close in the year you’d known each other. Though things hadn’t been official that entire time, once you’d made that distinction, the relationship progressed quickly. Neither of you had said those words yet, but it didn’t mean that you didn’t feel them. And you thought that he did, too, even if he didn’t speak them out loud. You were together more often than you were apart when you weren’t working, and he made you feel comfortable and cared for in a way that still stunned you. This is proof of that.
“Sap.” You sighed, pulling back and standing. “I’m going to get something to snack on, do you want anything?”
He didn’t. So you headed into the kitchen and decided on a bowl of popcorn, leaning against the counter while it popped. Your head felt better but still not great, though the fact that there was no excess noise had helped a ton. I knew it would.
You dressed the popcorn with butter, salt and the seasoning that you knew was Daniel’s favorite, and then headed back into the other room. He’d moved to the corner of the couch, slinging the blanket over his shoulders and leaving the end of it loose and ready for you. “Hold this.” He took the bowl and you sat, getting comfortable, pressed against his side.
It was cozy, and for the next little while, the two of you watched the game in silence, the amount of popcorn in the bowl dwindling thanks to both of your appetites. You wondered if Kansas City was ever going to score, and when they finally did, Daniel cheered happily - stiffening behind you and tightening his arm around your shoulders. “It’s only a field goal, don’t get too excited, Harper.”
“I’ll take what I can get.” He kissed the top of your head and you closed your eyes, settling in further against him. His breathing - deep and even - calmed you. You dozed until his team scored again, Daniel’s excited yelp waking you fully. “There’s the lead, baby!” You groaned, the sound turning into a yawn, but opened your eyes and looked at the screen, watching the celebration.
“Still a quarter to go,” you mumbled. “Don’t get cocky.”
“No, that’s later.” He laughed. “That was horrible, I’m sorry.” You agreed, but didn’t say anything, instead turning your head inward and toward his chest, groaning a second time. “The one thing I didn’t plan out for tomorrow is breakfast. Did you want to go out somewhere, or eat here, or …”
“I can cook for you.” Sitting up, you made direct eye contact. “Breakfast in bed?”
“But then you’d have to get up early.” Daniel’s frown grew, the lines between his eyes deepening. “And we’re supposed to sleep in since we took the day off.”
“I didn’t say early.” Winking, you shrugged. “Whenever your dog wakes me up to let him out, I can start.” He agreed - hesitantly - and then you both went back to the game, the 4th quarter clock already ticking down.
And it was you that cheered next when San Francisco scored, clapping your hands together and nodding, even as Daniel swore under his breath from next to you. “Are we ever going to root for the same team? Or is this going to be a yearly thing to us to be on opposing sides? Because -”
“I don’t know, Daniel. Are the Chiefs ever not going to get in?” Shifting so that you could get more comfortable, you gestured toward the TV. “If the Ravens had won, you’d be rooting for the Niners with me, since they beat your team.”
“True.” He took your hand, squeezing. “But luckily they didn’t.” You rolled your eyes, twisting your wrist so that you could link your fingers together
“We’ll just have to wait and see what happens next season.” You squeezed back, searching his expression. “See if we can go three years in a row on choosing opposing teams and not coming out of the game mad at each other.”
“I’m sure we’ll be alright.” He tilted his head. “But does that mean that you think my Chiefs will be back in the -” I guess it does.
“You never know.” Gesturing at the TV again, you made a show of rolling your eyes. “They’ve been throwing around the term dynasty and comparing him to Brady for the last three hours, so…” Daniel’s laugh was quiet, but when he pulled you closer by your joined hands, you let him, leaning into his side again.
“He is really good. And Kelce is -”
“If I never hear that man’s name again in my life, it will be too soon.” Daniel laughed again at your words, both of you going quiet as the field goal unit came out onto the field - and tied the game. “Ok, this is interesting.”
Despite the lingering headache, you were interested in the outcome - and especially with so little time left and a tied score. “Holy shit. I didn’t actually think…” Daniel swore quietly, reaching for his phone and sending a message out. “Charlie’s got to be shitting himself right now.”
You wondered how your friends were doing, and if the bar was still packed, and on a whim, you said Daniel’s name, getting his attention. “Take a picture of us, I want to send it to Ky.” He did, lifting the phone and reversing the camera so that you could see yourselves on the screen.
It was a good picture, both of you looking cozy under the blanket. When he sent it to you a few seconds later, you quickly typed a message to go along with it before you send it to your friend, hoping it would make her laugh whenever she saw it.
One of us is really excited about this tied game. The other is just glad to be in sweatpants.
He laughed at the text, but you felt him deflate when San Francisco kicked yet another field goal to take the lead with a little under two minutes left. They might actually win. I know I shouldn’t get excited, but …
The clock continued to wind down, and when - with 3 seconds left - Kansas City kicked an answering field goal to tie it again, you stood, throwing your arms up in the air. “Bullshit. This game has been entirely too boring to go into overtime.”
“I agree, but since this is the last football we get until August, I’m not going to complain.” He had a point, but you stayed on your feet, standing just in front of the couch. “Oh, shit, you know what?” Daniel reached out, fingers grazing over the back of your hand. “We forgot the envelopes.”
You gasped and spun to face him, looking down at where he still sat. “We did.” Pausing, you pointed at the steps. “I can go get-”
“No, you stay here.” Standing, he pushed past you, heading in the direction of his bedroom. “I’ll be right back.” You watched until he disappeared, listening to the sound of his footsteps thudding up the carpeted steps.
Both of you had decided not to gamble on the game with actual cash that year, and instead keep the wager between the two of you. If the Chiefs won, Daniel got to open the envelope you’d sealed your wager into, and if the Niners won, you opened his.
The only stipulation you’d agreed to was that the “reward” couldn’t be anything sexual in nature. Despite the fact that both of you knew what each other’s limits were, you’d decided that a sealed bet wasn’t the best place to offer anything that could be interpreted as an obligation to accept. Even though that could have been fun.
He reappeared a few moments later, the envelopes in one hand and Raider trailing down the stairs after him. “He was sleeping on your side of the bed again.” Daniel rolled his eyes. “I think he was disappointed it was me coming up and not you.”
“Doubtful.” But he padded toward you, nudging the side of your leg with his nose, tail wagging back and forth. “Maybe.” Daniel mumbled something that you didn’t catch before setting the envelopes on the table and wrapping his arms around you. “Daniel, w-”
He didn’t speak as he urged you to sit back on the couch with him, both of you landing on the cushions at the same time. Raider watched for a few seconds and then walked away, turning around twice and then flopping down onto the bed in the corner of the room, facing toward where you sat.
“How’s your head?” He spoke into your ear, mouth hovering just above it. “You seem like you’re doing better.”
“I am.” You didn’t look away from the TV, daring to feel a little hope as San Francisco drove the ball down the field, eating up the remaining time. “And if they can pull this off, I’ll feel great.”
“Now who’s being cocky?” He scoffed, shaking his head. “There’s still plenty of time. And both teams get the ball, so…” So there’s a chance.
To your disappointment, the end result was only a field goal. Ok, they can do this. They just need to hold them off. Your heartbeat quickened as the time ticked down - and the Chiefs got closer and closer to the end zone.
Daniel’s response was expected, too, the man sitting up straight and then leaning forward, both hands rubbing together. Splitting your attention between the TV and him, you understood what was going to happen before it played out, letting out a sigh when you saw Mahomes release the ball and focusing on Daniel instead. It was fun while it lasted.
He shot to his feet as the catch was made, both hands raised over his head as he whooped in excitement. It startled Raider, the dog’s head lifting. But after the single outburst, he hissed and then swore, looking down at you. “I’m sorry. Your headache, I didn’t -”
Waving him off, you stood too. “It’s fine. Congratulations to your team.” He paused and then reached for you, carefully pulling you into his arms. “I still think it was a boring game, but…”
“It was.” He kissed you, nodding. “But I’ve gotta be honest with you.” His smile widened, the man’s dark eyes focused on you. “I think I liked tonight better than last year.”
“Why?” It made no sense - he’d had a great time at Charlie’s, and from what you’d seen, Daniel’s time at the bar had been just as enjoyable for him. He likes high energy places. He likes … people. And crowds. And he likes being with people that like the same things as he does. “It’s so quiet. And the only other person here was rooting against your team, and -”
“Because I can do this without worrying someone’s going to get offended.”
He moved quickly, one hand sliding up to the middle of your back and the other rising to tilt your face. Ah. Makes sense. He kissed you hungrily, though he was still holding back - Daniel’s lips parted when they met yours, the tip of his tongue dragging along the fullest part of your lower one moments later.
You welcomed the kiss, opening your mouth in encouragement - and Daniel was quick to deepen it, his hum of approval vibrating through you. You dragged your fingers through his hair, the soft strands curling against your palm. Before you could get too comfortable, he pulled away, sighing. “Kyra would have lost her shit if you did that last year.”
“I wanted to.” He nodded, his expression solemn. “Barely knew you, but it took all my willpower not to make a move in that living room or in the kitchen.” He’d told you something similar before, but it still made you feel good to know that he meant it.
“Now you don’t have to worry about that.” Wrinkling your nose, you tugged on his hair. “Might have gotten a couple strange looks in that bar, but I wouldn’t have cared.” Using your chin, you gestured to the table. “You won the bet. Are you going to open your envelope?”
He looked down at where they laid, pausing before turning his attention back to you. “In a minute. I think I want to kiss you again first.” And he did, though that kiss was shorter than the previous one and ended with his teeth closing around your lip followed by a gentle suck as he backed away. Oh, I love it when he does that.
He stroked his thumb over your cheek and then bent down, picking up the envelope with his name on it.
“A bet is a bet.” Putting your hands on your hips, you raised both brows, waiting. “Here we go.” Sliding his finger beneath the flap, he opened the envelope, using two fingers to pull the folded sheet of paper free. “Ok, let’s see… what does…” He stopped speaking, clearly confused. Weren’t expecting that, were you. Daniel looked up, frowning. “Seriously?”
“We said it had to be significant but it couldn’t be sex, so…”
“But this is …” He looked down and then back up, chewing on his lower lip. “Three freebies? What does that even mean?”
“It means, Daniel, that you get three opportunities to make a request of me, and as long as it’s something reasonable, I can’t say no.” His lips twitched upward, and you continued. “You don’t really ask for much, but I thought … I don’t know. If we have plans and you decide you don’t want to go, or if there’s something you want to do… just ask.” You shrugged. “Blank check times three.”
“Why three?” He was smiling broadly, the slip of paper still in his hand, though he didn’t look at it. “And not only one?”
“One didn’t seem like enough, and two was a weird number. So… three.” He sighed, closing his eyes. “Is that dumb? I didn’t think so. I just -”
“No, it’s perfect.” He reached out, taking your hand. “I’ll make ‘em good ones, I promise.” You knew he would - and you also knew that Daniel would save his prize until he came up with the right choices. Just to catch me by surprise.
“Good. I’m looking forward to finding out what they are.” Stepping away from him, you looked up and at the clock on his wall. “And I know it’s early, but I think I’m going to go and lay down. I want to get some sleep.”
“I’ll let Raider out and then be up, too.” He whistled, and the dog stood, hurrying toward the back door. “See you in a few.”
You headed upstairs and into the bathroom, getting ready for bed on autopilot. It only took you a few minutes, and by the time Daniel made it up to the bedroom, you were already laying down with the lights off. God, it feels good to lay down.
He was quick getting ready to lay down, too. When he climbed in next to you, there was no hesitation before he was winding an arm around you and urging you closer. “Where’s Raider?”
“I crated him tonight. Didn’t want him jumping in the bed.” He rubbed your back, the motion soothing. “Figured you could use a night of uninterrupted sleep.” Uninterrupted from you, too? He kept touching you, the movement of his hand pushing your shirt up to expose the skin of your back. Guess not. Daniel sought it out, the warmth of his palm making contact with your bare body
You moved even closer, letting yourself relax under his touch. “Hey.” You spoke a few minutes later, voice quiet in the darkened room. “Isn’t sex supposed to be good for headaches?” He stopped moving, fingers curling inward.
“I…” His hand started moving again, slowly. “I might have read that somewhere.” You reached out to touch him then, your fingers catching on the elastic waistband of his pants. “Are you suggesting we test that theory?”
It only took you a few seconds to decide, hooking your fingers between the material and his skin and then tugging. Daniel’s hips jerked forward at the contact, your name little more than a whisper as he spoke it. “Yeah. I am.”

Welcome home with love.
Joshua Graham/Six/Daniel.
Just some fluff for Six coming home.
After Joshua and Daniel settle down again, Six drops by now and then on their road around the Mojave to see the two.
They'll approach the place in their dirty duster and mucky boots. Their mask is worn but the two know your silhouette anywhere, any day.
Daniel is most likely sitting on the porch, looking up over the tip of his hat as the dust rolls past you. Each foot is a stride of intent and longing to finally be at home.
He stands and watches you approach the house. "Look who came home."
You shuffle and pull your mask off, breathing in the warm, fresh air. A clean start from the radiated, dense air you'd been inhaling for the last bit.
Daniel smiled softly upon seeing your face. He gently reached out for your duster, pulling it back off your shoulders and laying it on the chair he previously sat in.
Your tired body slumps against his chest, letting out the heavy emotions against his neck. His strong hands roam up and down your back, pulling at the hot undershirt you wore.
"Hey Daniel..."
"Hey, darlin'." He gently shifts with you in his arms, letting your body rest as long as it would need. But you'd been on your feet for so long.
You look up at him, and he slowly cranes his neck down, giving you a soft, sweet kiss. A welcome home.
"Come inside, I'll get something made up for us."
You smiled a little, following Daniel inside. Inside a small fan ran near the door. Books were stacked up along the walls, some scripture, some pre-war texts you'd found on your adventures.
You looked around, heading through the main room toward the kitchen where you found Joshua.
The extra pair of footsteps wasn't lost on him, his gaze already off his drink he slowly sipped through a straw.
His gaze softened when he saw you. "Welcome back, dove."
You came over, leaning down and kissing his temple. "I missed you, and you don't even have the courtesy to get out of your chair for me." You teased.
Joshua huffed and slowly got up. Properly hugging you, his forehead leaned against yours. His bandaged palms pressed gently against your cheeks, rubbing his thumb over your skin. Feeling the roughness from the sands of the Mojave.
You smiled softly, kissing his cheek gently. Daniel huffed softly from behind you, which made you turn and cup his cheek. "Come here you."
You gently brought him in again, tasting his lips and inhaling the smell of fresh pages and sweat.
Joshua slotted himself behind you, his hands drifting up your abdomen, feeling your body softly. His head resting on your shoulder, feeling the warmth of your nape against his head.
"Get off your feet, darlin'. Sit, I'll fix you up something nice."
Your stomach growled at Daniel's words. And you had no doubt he'd make up something fierce.
Joshua still has not pulled away from you. You swayed slowly, "Did you miss me?" You teased.
"The same amount I miss you any other time you leave for up to a month on short notice.."
"Yeah, I know." You smiled a little. "But I'm home." You patted his knuckles gently.
He nodded, pressing the bridge of his nose against your neck, and then slowly released you so you could sit and get off your feet.
You sighed, relaxing into the barely cushioned chair. You leaned your head back and watched the two peacefully move about.
Joshua went around the table to offer help, Daniel's hand slipping down around his waist to gently tug the two men hip to hip.
You smile softly, seeing Joshua lean over, reaching for something and Daniel interrupting it with a gentle kiss to his temple.
"Alright you," Joshua squeezes his bicep. "Easy."
"I'm just excited, happy to have you both in the same room again."
You smiled softly, sitting up and watching them. In the sunlight that came through the dirty window in the kitchen, they both seemed to glow.
Maybe it was you not seeing them for a while? Or you were falling in love with them all over again. That spoke for itself. You were glad to get welcomed home.

"Hey, don't forget Corn Nuts either, (y/n/n)!" Molly called from the railing, leaning over it so far it looked like she'd fall off any second.
"I heard you the first time, ya weirdo!" You waved her off as you approached the gate to leave the complex.
"You're the only person in the world that likes those things."
Just as you grabbed the handle, a voice from the other side let out a battle cry, karate kicking the door, and you, down.
"Oh! Are you okay?!" He exclaimed, quickly dropping his bike to help you up.
"The hell are you doin'...man," when you finally stood up and opened your eyes, you were pleasantly surprised.
Instead of it being some weird kid that was just going around kicking things, it was an incredibly handsome boy.
"I'm sorry. That was stupid," he sheepishly smiled, letting go of your hand and picking his bike back up.
"It's all good. I wasn't exactly paying attention either," you assured, dusting off your shorts.
"You must be the new guy moving in Apartment 20, right?"
"Oh, yeah. You live here?" He asked, pointing up to the balcony.
"A friend does. We're having a sleepover. I was actually on a snack run before you ruthlessly beat me down," you joked, making him smile.
"I'm (y/n) (l/n)."
"Daniel Larusso. Nice to meet you," he grinned, making your stomach do a somersault.
"Right back attcha. You need help with your bag?" You asked, pointing at the suitcase hanging off his bike.
"Oh, nah, don't worry about it. It's heavy an-." "Too late," you smirked, quickly sliding under his arm and grabbing it for him.
He smirked, amused, "Y'know, it's usually the other way around? The guy carries the girl's bag."
"Yeah, well we do it different here," you smiled, "Speaking of, lemme guess where you're from. I got a good nose for this stuff."
"Alright, lay it on me," he raised a brow.
"I'm gonna say....Jersey," you closed your eyes, peeking one open to see if you were correct.
"No way. How'd you guess that?" He smiled.
"The accent. Plus, I got a nose for my own," you tapped your nose.
"You're from Jersey, too?"
"Yup. I used to live there as a kid, then my family moved us all out here."
"Why?"
"Got sick of the winters."
"I love winter."
"Me, too."
You both paused for a moment, looking at each other before letting out a couple of laughs.
"You're funny. I like you," you smiled, walking up the steps with him.
"Whoa, slow down. We just met," he joked, a small smirk playing on his lips as he plopped his bike at the top of the steps.
"Har, har," you playfully scoffed, giving him a tiny shove.
"Here's Apartment 20."
"Thanks," he smiled.
"No problem," you smiled back.
"Say...me and a couple of other kids from school are throwin' a party on the beach tomorrow. Am I gonna see you there?"
"I dunno," he smirked, getting a little closer and raising a brow. "Are you?"
"You tell me," you shrugged, looking up at him through your lashes.
"Yeah, you'll see me there," he grinned.
"Great. I'll pick you up in the morning," you smiled, heading back towards the steps.
You turned around, sitting down on the railing and flashing him one more grin.
"See ya then, Danny."
With that, you slid down, him watching you the entire time as you headed back out the gate.
"Yeah...see you then," he cheesed to himself, walking into his new home with his heart beating out his chest.
Maybe this place wouldn't be so bad after all.

"Look at (y/n/n)'s new boy toy," Molly smirked, tossing a couple more Corn Nuts in her mouth as a couple of the other girls snickered.
"Shut up, Mo. He's not a boy toy," you scoffed, rolling your eyes.
"You shoulda seen them yesterday. They were talking and flirting as if they've known each other for life," she added.
"'Cause it felt like it. We actually have a lot in common, and we kept making each other laugh," you smiled, taking your eyes away from the game and turning to the girls.
"Oh, God, she's got it bad. Someone call for help," Casey said sarcastically, pretending to flag down some officers.
"I'm sick of you," you playfully smiled, grabbing a handful of Corn Nuts and throwing them at her.
"Watch the nuts, man!" Mo gasped, grabbing the bag away from you.
It was the next day, and you had given Daniel a ride to the beach party.
Him and a couple of the other guys were playing soccer while you had your scuffle with your two best friends.
And as if on cue, the ball got kicked over to the girls, the crowd of boys following.
Daniel tried to get the ball back, but he locked eyes with you and completely forgot about the game, almost dazed.
You gave him a warm smile, his crooked one growing on him, and you two kept eye contact in comfortable silence until the ball got kicked back over.
He kicked it up, showing off a couple juggling moves before the ball got taken away again, and he ran off.
Turning around every couple of seconds to look at you.
Molly looked at Casey, and Casey looked at Molly, before they turned to you.
"I just want to make it clear that everyone saw that, right?" Casey asked the whole group.
A chorus's of yeses and yups rung through and Molly linked arms with you, Casey getting the other side.
"Your blush is making me sick. Let's cool you off," she said snootily, the two of them walking you towards the ocean.
"Haters..." you muttered under your breath.
"What was that?!"

Now that night had come, the campfires were started and everyone began roasting hot dogs.
You still sat with the girls, practically having a staring contest with Daniel, who was standing around with the guys.
"Alright, this lovingly watching from across the way crap isn't working. You guys haven't said a single word to each other all day," Molly sighed, throwing her head back in anguish.
"I don't wanna seem to clingy by going up to him. He just got here so I wanna let him make friends with people other than myself," you defended.
"Oh, so now you're friends? After a single day? Case was right, you do have it bad," Molly cocked a brow.
"Shut up," you rolled your eyes.
"It looks like the guys just talked him into coming over! Look alive!" Casey whisper yelled, giving you a rough elbow as the three of you watched Daniel walk over.
One of the boys threw a soccer ball over to you, and you caught it, standing up and meeting him halfway.
"Hey, stranger. Lose something?" You smiled, handing him back the ball.
"Yeah, I hope they're not botherin' ya," he smiled.
"Nah, I actually wanted to ask you how you did that juggling stuff earlier. I wanted to try it," you asked.
"Oh, it's pretty easy. You start from the knee. You just go one," he bounced it on his knee then caught it, "You try one at a time. Then you try two. One, two."
He handed the ball back to you and you got one bounce...then two...then three.
"See? You're a natural," he grinned.
"Wait, I wanna try for four," you stated, a determined look in your eye.
But once you got to three, you fell right on top of him, the ball rolling off somewhere.
The two of you laughed, and you rolled off of him.
"That's my bad. I'll go get it," you smiled.
"I'll get it. I'll be right back," he assured, running off to go find the ball.
You happily sighed, turning around to see the entirety of the girls circle giving you dopey grins and big thumbs up.
You playfully rolled your eyes.
Just then, you heard the sounds of revving motorcycles, and knew that could mean only one thing.
'Shit.'
You walked back over to the girls circle, sitting down and cranking the radio.
"(y/n/n), I wanna talk to you," Johnny stated, walking up to you.
"Leave me alone, Johnny. And don't call me that," you spat.
"We've been through this, I don't wanna talk."
"Well I wanna talk you you, all right?" He asked again, shutting off your radio and raising his tone.
You turned it back on, giving him an icy glare.
But he cut it back off.
"What is your problem?!" He exclaimed.
"You! Now for the hundredth time take your little Cobra Kais and get outta here!" You raised your voice even louder, angrily standing up and grabbing your radio.
Johnny cheated on you with Rachel from Home Ec, and you caught the two red handed in the back of the school when you were trying to surprise him on his birthday.
Needless to say, you cut him off right then and there.
"Yeah, right, like that's gonna solve anything," he scoffed, snatching your radio from you.
"Gimme my radio," you made your tone dangerously low, going to grab for it.
"You promise to talk to me?" He asked, quickly moving out the way.
"I'm not promising you anything. It's my radio so give it back to me!"
"Not until you promise to talk to me!"
"Fine!"
You snatched it back, keeping eye contact with him as you cranked the music again.
He snatched it back, slamming it on the ground, all the knobs going everywhere.
"What the hell is wrong with you?! You just broke my radio!" You angrily shouted, shoving him.
Just then, Daniel came in, grabbing the remnants of it off the ground.
"Don't touch it, punk!" Johnny exclaimed, pointing at him.
Daniel ignored him, trying to hand it back to you, but Johnny smacked it out of his hands.
"You want it?" He smirked.
He took the radio and shoved it into Daniel's arms, making him fall over.
"Stop it!" You shouted, shoving Johnny again, but he pushed you into his friends, them holding you back as he rolled up his sleeves and Daniel got up off the floor.
Daniel swung, but Johnny tripped him and made him fall again.
"Johnny, stop it!" You shouted again, thrashing against his friends.
But their grip was tight, not to mention there were four of them.
Daniel got back up, but the same thing happened, and Johnny added a kick to the gut as well.
"Johnny, leave him alone! I'll talk to you, just leave him be!" You glared, still struggling.
"Yeah, where have I heard that before," he scoffed, walking back up to Daniel, who was playing hurt until he got back up and socked Johnny in the mouth.
So Johnny kicked him in the stomach and face twice.
Daniel was down.
"Let go of me!" You spat in their faces, stepping on their feet as they let you go.
"Why don't you hit me, huh?! Since you're so bad! Hit me, asshole!" You spat, roughly shoving Johnny and punching him in the chest.
"Get away from me! Don't come near me again!"
"This is your fault! Get on your bikes, guys," he rounded up his Cobra Kais, walking off as you quickly ran over to Daniel, kneeling down next to him.
"Daniel, are you okay? I'm so sorry-." "Nah, just leave me alone," he groaned, dropping his bloody face in the sand.
"Are you sure? I'll help you-." "Leave me alone. It's okay, I-." He winced mid-sentence.
It looked like he was in a lot of pain.
"C'mon, (y/n/n). Let's go. It's better to leave him alone," Molly said quietly, tapping your shoulder.
You sighed, standing back up and reluctantly turning away.
'I'm gonna kill Johnny the next time I see him.'

hi !!! if you're willing, may you write something daniel larusso x female reader where she goes to cheer him up & keep him company while his leg is broken after the tournament? thank you in advance <3
ೃ༄ Uptown Girl
daniel larusso x reader
begging for more karate kid requests…i rewatched the movies yesterday and i cant get it out my head.
warnings: not beta or proof read, slightly rushed
he's annoyed when you and his mother insist he rests after the tournament. sure, his leg hurts like actual hell, and he can't take more than a few steps without promptly falling, but he's itching to continue his karate training.
his restlessness tends to get the best of him during his recovery. he doesn't know what to do, practically bed-bound and unable to do the one thing he's grown to love most.
your visits are his only real source of entertainment. he cherishes them, anticipates the next one before you've even left his apartment.
he coaxes—or tries to, at least—you into staying with him longer. when you tell him you have to leave, he’ll put his head on your shoulder and beg for a few more minutes (which always ends up as a few hours, if you truly give in.)
his favorite thing to do while you’re over is watch a movie. most of the time, it’s some cheesy romance with more kissing scenes than plot. its an easy excuse to have a hand on your waist and press a few sweet kisses to your lips, in his eyes.
he finds comfort in your presence. it's not overwhelming like his mom's usually is—you're calming, a breath of fresh air amidst all the chaos in his life.
he tones down the complaining when you're around. he may be frustrated with just about everything, but he's not letting down the opportunity to have you dote on him a little more.
he thinks you look awfully cute while taking care of/spending time with him<3
