Hi! Just a quick note about how much I love your work 😊
I'd love to read about the third prompt 😁
Quick Ficlet List
That's so sweet of you to say, @d-jscar. It honestly feels like I'm putting out my worst stuff or something recently, so it's idk it's nice to hear that haha Thank you for sending such a fun prompt! I hope you're okay with a bittersweet little post-endgame fic 😅 I hope you enjoy the ficlet! 🥰
"That's not mine."
Sam noticed something was strange when he woke up to no alarm. He rubbed his eyes. Blearily blinked away sleep as he tried to remember what happened last night.
Oh right.
Sam helped save the universe. And then he learned that he lost five years of his life. And then he drank all night celebrating the former, trying not to think about the latter.
Warm.
The left side of the bed was warm. Sam felt the person-sized warmth, an echo of someone being there before.
Who had Sam gone home with?
Where were they even?
Sam looked around at the designs on the wall; a Wakandan print Sam knew well since he saw it every time he stayed in Birnin Zana between missions. It wasn't his room, though.
Or maybe it was and things had just changed that much.
"Sam?"
Sam froze. Because that was Bucky's voice.
Had he slept with Bucky Barnes?
"We didn't - we just slept there. Literally. Not um. No doing the devil's tango or the beast with two backs or anything," Bucky rambled, as if reading Sam's mind.
Sam snickered.
"The devil's tango?" asked Sam, the phrase taking him out of it, making him forget all the stress he knew he was going to feel soon as he sat up and faced a sheepish yet smiling Bucky.
"You know," said Bucky, distractingly only in boxers shorts as he sipped some coffee, "Opening the gates of Mordor. Harpooning the salty longshoreman. Dancing the four-legged foxtrot. Jumping the turnstile. Grope for the trout in the peculiar river. Batter-dipping the corndog."
Sam cackled, collapsed into wheezes and tears as Bucky sat down next to him on the bed, folding his legs into what Sam's brain remembered fondly as "criss-cross applesauce".
"Why are you like this?" asked Sam pleadingly between laughs.
Bucky kept smiling softly at Sam.
"Because it makes you laugh," said Bucky like Sam laughing was the best thing to happen to him, "Coffee?"
"Isn't this yours?" asked Sam, a little confused as he sat up and took the uncharacteristically black coffee from Bucky.
Sam tried not to think about how he was only in his boxers too.
"Oh, that? That's not mine," said Bucky, "No, I got that for you."
"You drank from this, you dick," said Sam as he took a huge swig of the coffee despite what he just learned, "You're such an asshole."
"I'm an asshole who's probably going to stay in Wakanda for a little while longer," said Bucky wistfully, "You're um. Going home today. Full pardon."
Sam almost choked on his coffee.
"Wait. What?" said Sam, stunned.
Because Sam didn't believe it. He didn't think he'd ever go back home.
Bucky's smile turned into a grin.
"Yeah. I heard from Steve. You're going with him to D.C. to get pardoned at the White House and everything. Isn't that great? You'll get to see Sarah again. The boys," said Bucky, excited for Sam.
Which was when Sam realized what else Bucky said.
"You're... not coming," said Sam.
Bucky shrugged.
"They'll let me visit stateside for Tony's funeral, but my pardoning's going to be... a little trickier. I am a world-class assassin and super soldier," explained Bucky, "But I'll call you when I get back. I'll try to visit. Stevie says it's very likely I'll be allowed back on a pardon, I just don't know when yet."
And it felt like something was going to happen. Something that would tear whatever fragile thing they had here apart.
It wasn't as if Sam couldn't go without seeing Bucky for months at a time. That was what their relationship had always been, really. Friends who saw each other every other month for a few days.
But something about this felt different.
"Can you keep me up to date with how the negotiations go?" asked Sam, trying not to show the worry creeping into his voice.
"Of course," said Bucky as he pulled Sam close, "Always."
But it didn't feel like an always. It felt like whatever they were doing now was either going to bend or snap because of this. Sam wondered if Bucky could feel it too. If that was why his arms wrapped loosely around Sam, pulling him closer.
Sam tried not to think about it. He tried not to think about anything. He wanted to treasure whatever moments they had left before it was time for him to go home. He rested his head on Bucky's chest, the coffee Bucky got him in his hands as Bucky held him close.
"You'll finally see your family again," whispered Bucky, way too happy for Sam.
Which made Sam forget his worries. Made Sam melt a bit in Bucky's arms. Made him smile at the thought of it. Of Sarah and Jody and their kids. Of seeing his nephews in person.
"I'm finally going home to see my family again," whispered Sam, unable to fully comprehend that was real as he listened to Bucky's heartbeat.

Peggy/Angie Masterlist
a minor distraction (ao3) - brilligspoons peggy/natasha, peggy/angie T, 3k
Summary: Rumors about an organization experimenting with the super soldier serum bring Peggy Carter to Russia, where she meets a young factory worker named Natalia.
A Somebody I'm Longing To See (ao3) - Eliza49 peggy/angie, peggy/steve T, 32k
Summary: In the spring of 1947 Peggy Carter returned to New York, the birthplace of Steve Rogers…
Despite the distraction of a fascinating case and no small amount of peril, Peggy had missed her New York roommate, Angie Martinelli, during her time in L.A.. She had become accustomed to comforting conversation and happy chatter at the end of the working day, and whilst the Jarvises had helped fill the void, it had not been quite the same: after all, Ana and Edwin belonged to each other, but Angie, Peggy felt, was hers, somehow...
-
(This is a sequel to my story, “A Safe Community for Modern Female Professionals.” It takes place after season 2 of "Agent Carter," and depicts Peggy and Angie living together [and getting together] in Howard's penthouse in Manhattan. There is also an SSR investigation, which Peggy leads as Chief of the New York office.)
A Song That Will Not Die (ao3) - chilly_flame M, 15k
Summary: Peggy and Angie deal with a new crisis after moving in together, thanks to their good friend Howard Stark.
A Woman's Touch (ao3) - all_soul T, 59k
Summary: It’s been a week since Peggy saved New York from Dr. Fenhoff, and Dottie is loose in the big city. Regardless of Interim-Chief Jack keeping her off the Underwood case, her fraying relationship with Daniel, and the tightrope that she walks at home with Angie, she’ll find her. Peggy Carter always gets her girl.
Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (Burning Bridges Sweeten the Air) (ao3) - DiNovia T, 26k
Summary: Before Peggy Carter can make good on her promise to train Angie Martinelli to protect herself better, an old foe makes a reappearance and a new plot comes to light. Will Peggy be able to figure it out before it's over and done?
Cat Got Your Tongue (ao3) - Meskeet T, 10k
Summary: There’s only two things Peggy’s currently certain about.
One, she’s in love with Angela Martinelli.
Two, she’s a cat.
(Or, the one where Howard Stark turns Peggy into a cat.)
Easy Living (ao3) - sagesiren T, 9k
Summary: Her day had started nearly forty hours before when North Korea had marched too far South for anyone's liking, and she'd been subsisting on coffee and frustration at the American government's incompetence since.
While her fledgling organization wasn't large enough nor old enough to be regarded as a player on the national level quite yet, her agents were more capable than any others in the country by half, and she still suspected vital information was being withheld.
Not to mention that the process of moving her base of operations to D.C. - and every agent along with it - was hard enough without a war complicating things.
Or a child.
(It's 1950 and Peggy decides she needs a live-in nanny after gaining custody of her niece, Sharon. Enter: Angie.)
i break wild roses (ao3) - halfmoonsevenstars peggy/natasha, peggy/angie M, 7k
Summary: It’s August 1950 and Peggy Carter, Director of SHIELD, is back in New York for the week, wrangling diplomats and soothing fractured bureaucratic egos by day. By night, Peggy goes out for drinks and dancing with Angie, but it’s a beautiful Russian girl she brings back to the hotel room.
Mapping the Spaces in Between (ao3) - warmspringrain G, 10k
Summary: Filling in the missing moments of Season One.
Morning Mix Ups (ao3) - tiredmoonlight G, 1k
Summary: Sometimes, in the rush of a busy morning, Peggy doesn’t always grab the right clothes.
or alternatively: two times Peggy stole Angie’s clothes by accident, and one time Angie stole Peggy’s on purpose.
Rule #1: Peggy Carter is sometimes wrong (ao3) - burninglights peggy/angie, ana/jarvis T, 25k
Summary: The four times Peggy apologises to Angie, and the one time she doesn't. With an extra few chapters of Angie being (always) right.
Or: Peggy falling in love with another scrappy Brooklyn kid, in a mostly-canon re-write of Agent Carter season 1 and a non-canon-re-write of season 2, because we all know how that went down. Domestic shenanigans from New York to L.A.
//
Peggy Carter pushes open the door and takes a corner seat, still feeling like she's somehow betraying her Queen by being publicly seen drinking coffee twice in a week (and /enjoying/ it, too). Angie spots her from across the Automat and comes hurrying over, a huge, shit-eating grin plastered to her face. “English!” She bends down and pulls the woman into a tight, brief hug.
When Angie finally pulls away, Peggy isn’t sure what she’s more concerned about – the fact that this waitress doesn’t seem to understand the meaning of personal space (of which she herself places great importance) or the fact that she actually finds herself enjoying the said invasion of personal space. She clears her throat. “I have a name, you know,” she says. “It’s Peggy. Peggy Carter.”
Scarlet Cross (ao3) - wreckofherheart M, 40k
Summary: [AU: Second World War]
Angie and Peggy meet under the most inconvenient and harmful circumstances.
Yet, somehow, this only brings to light something they did not foresee.
[Peggy/Angie]
Someday (ao3) - all_soul T, 7k
Summary: "Well, I look forward to hearing what this is about someday"
"Someday"
In which a day after the events of the season one finale, Peggy climbs through the Griffith window.
Someone New (ao3) - TESPO G, 33k
Summary: Peggy Carter only opens her heart to those she can keep safe, and so for the most part it remains locked shut. Little does she know Angie Martinelli has a history of picking locks, defying odds, and breaking all the rules.

The Usher Foundation 1: Route 66
Hey, this is a fanfiction centered on the Magnus Institute's American counterpart, the Usher Foundation. It takes place in another universe - neither the one we know and love from the Magnus Archives series nor [spoilers] where they sent the fears, but a third one, that also has the fears. I know that feels confusing but I've got my canonical reason for that planned out, so if this first installment does well then you'll get plenty of that intricate lore.
[Smartphone recorder chimes]
[ARCHIVIST clears his throat]
If you're a researcher doing a paper on spookies, congratulations, you've found the very first Usher Foundation audio statement. I'm Donovan Ellis...[sigh]...'Chief Experience Organizer' of the Usher Foundation, Washington D.C. The boss just did a pretty substantial reorganization of the place - "..needs a hip coat of paint!" he told us, which includes me dusting off the statements and putting them on the cloud. In audio form; for reasons he danced around until I gave up. On the subject...
Statement of Nicholas Sill, regarding the highway between Amarillo and Albuquerque. Originally given November 17th, 2009. Audio recorded July 4th, 2022. Statement begins.
--
I learned to drive at 16, and I haven't stopped since. I'm from New York - upstate, not the city - and every year when the weather gets nippy I hop in the car and drive south down to Savannah, Georgia, then west (and north) all the way to San Francisco, stopping in my favorite cities and landmarks along the way. People think I'm insane to go all that way every year, but I never felt more free than on the road.
Until this year's trip. It was going great at first. I had a great kebab in Atlanta, saw some live music in Nashville, and after hanging out with a girl in Amarillo I was feeling on top of the world as I slid back onto the highway. The first odd thing came just before that, though. I was at an intersection, and a man dressed in a noticeably badly fitting suit was on the side of the road next to a stall that read 'DIRT OF GOD $1 / jar'. I thrive on weird social interactions, personally. Gives me stories to tell when I get home. So I rolled down my window and caught his attention, asking him what 'dirt of god' was. He shuffled awkwardly over to my car; he had very stiff legs. He was bald on the top of his head, but the hair growing on the sides was shoulder-length. He was very, very sunburned. He offered his hand, and I shook it with a smile. Up close, I noticed that his suit wasn't just too large, it was sagging. All his pockets were bulging, filled to the brim with something. He told me: 'God blessed that dirt much as he blessed this whole country'. He said it so earnestly. It felt folksy and quaint. Cozy. So I bought a jar and went on my way. I was excited for a good souvenir, but I regretted it barely a half hour later. It stunk. Like hell. I cracked the windows to help it waft out, but it barely made a dent in the, just, thickness of it. It was the smell of dirt after rain without the nostalgia. Without the fresh plants to accompany it. Just the desert. I opened my window, all the way this time, and chucked the jar.
It wasn't long before the haze started. At first, I assumed a gust of wind had blown up some dust. And then I thought a dust storm must be forming. But that wasn't it. It was a dust devil, a little tornado of sand and dirt, following alongside my car even as I accelerated faster and faster. But it span slow. Very slow, grains of it tickling the paint off my car. It then expanded gradually, not just twisting beside but twisting around. It covered my windshield, so I couldn't keep driving. I pulled over and lay down in my backseat, waiting for it to pass.
But I couldn't rest. What had once been a gentle spinning became a terrifying whirlwind. It whipped against the windows, against the roof and doors, clanging unbelievably loud. Worse, it started to blow through the air conditioner, bringing with it the smell. It wasn't just harassing me from the outside, it was choking me from the inside. The car groaned as it became gorged with dry dust, and even through my shallow breathing I realized that the car was now actively sinking. The sunlight could barely be seen through the windshield, and I watched in horror as the brown darkness rose from the bottom all the way to the top, eating the little remaining light as my car buckled and dented inwards. The windows shattered, and dirt flooded my car, my gasp of shock becoming my last clear breath for a long, long while. I crawled wildly through the ground. Every time I thought I'd gotten through a window I felt another piece of the interior, somehow turning myself around back into my flooded car over and over again, still sinking.
I barely remember what happened next. I was in a stupor of...starvation. And there was no air. But the next thing I knew I was being pulled from the ground and back into the open air. The guy who saved me called himself 'Watchman Kohr', and he gave me a ride to the airport. I meant to fly back to New York, but I decided to come here. I'm not ready for my yearly vacation to be over, even if I can't even think about getting into a car without hyperventilating. I think I'll catch a train back to New York.
--
Statement ends. The enigmatic 'Watchmen' make an appearance here, the completely un-researchable organization due to their shared name with a popular graphic novel. What we know is that they operate all over North America in apparently equal frequency, and that several people who've encountered them - Mr. Sill excluded - note their eyes as their most well-defined feature.
I'll be honest, I would be tempted to file Mr. Sill's experience under 'sudden psychotic break paired with odd weather', but the presence of a Watchman gives it more weight. I had Yvonne and Logan follow up on Mr. Sill, who - according to his Facebook - seems to have moved to New York City, and hasn't left since he got there in early 2010.
Recording ends.

Hi! Can you please tell me how many musical Dance with Devils have and its order of watching? I tried searching the net but was futile. Thank you very much^^.
Hi! So far there are 3 Dance with Devils Musicals. 2 are already on DVD and the 3rd one is not on stage until March next year. I will tell you the names of the Musicals in order along with their main poster and cast for each one.
Musical Dance with Devils
Tumblr media
This is the first Musical that ran in March 2016. This is loosely based off the anime but the storyline is a little bit different since there are some original characters and the ending had one main ending that is close to the anime. The main female character is non-exsistent in the musical, the director wanted the cast to make the audience feel like they are Ristuka and the cast had to talk to them, and there was a dancer on stage specifically casted and dressed as Ritsuka when she was needed on stage (but Ritsuka is played by a male as it’s an all male cast). The songs are really catchy and fun and it includes lines and some of the songs from the anime! Including the opening and ending theme!
CAST
Kaminaga Keisuke as Kaginuki Rem
Hiramaki Jin as Tachibana Lindo
Sakiyama Tsubasa as Sogami Urie
Yoshioka Yuu as Nanashiro Mage
Yasukawa Junpei as Natsumezaka Shiki

Ise Daiki as Jek
Norizuki Kohei as Noel (Original Character)

Musical Dance with Devils ~D.C~ (Da Cappo)
Tumblr media
This is the second Musical of the series. This is a reprise of the first musical that ran in December 2016. But there are some cast changes, new songs that are from the anime (plus all the other songs from the first musical), costume changes and there are 2 different endings! The first ending is Dear My Devil Rem, which is the exact same ending and storyline in the first musical. The second one is Dear My Exorcist Lindo, which is what was recorded for the live viewing and is on the DVD. Again, Ritsuka is non-existent in this musical like in the first. The songs are somewhat the same but you will see that there is a new song for Holland and the previous song that was sung by Holland is taken by someone else (I don’t want to reveal too much!). So the storyline is still the same as the first musical and for Dear My Devil Rem, but for Dear My Exorcist Lindo, the beginning and ending is different.
CAST
Kaminaga Keisuke as Kaginuki Rem
Hagio Keishi as Tachibana Lindo
Kimisato Yuki as Sogami Urie
Yoshioka Yuu as Nanashiro Mage
Yasukawa Junpei as Natsumezaka Shiki
Naito Taiki as Roen
Tanaka Ryosei as Jek
Norizuki Kohei as Noel (Original Character)
Yamada James Takeshi as Holland (Original Character)
KobayashiTatsuyukias Shida (1st Year Trio/Original Character)
Fukushima Kaita as Kazura (1st Year Trio/Original Character)
Hayato (WEBER) as Warabi (1st Year Trio/Original Character)

Musical Dance with Devils ~Fermata~
Tumblr media
This is the 3rd Musical in the series. The Musical will be running in March 2018 and there is a new cast and new characters also! And we still have some of them reprising their roles for a 3rd time and a 2nd time for Jek’s role & 2 from the 1st Year Trio. There will also be 2 endings again Elegante and Calma. But from what I can tell from the info they haven’t said what the endings will be. So we will have to wait and see what they are.
CAST
Kaminaga Keisuke as Kaginuki Rem
Takano Akira as Tachibana Lindo
Yamazaki Shougo as Sogami Urie
Yoshioka Yuu as Nanashiro Mage
Yasukawa Junpei as Natsumezaka Shiki

the magic hour ❛ the devil I know ❜
Senator!Chris Evans x Reader
Word Count: 1.1k~
warnings: 18+ only!!! handjob & age gap (Chris is at least in his late 40s/early 50s while reader is in her mid to late 20s)
A/N: Here is a short little blurb I wrote. Next week I plan on posting a fic where a new person inserts this messy universe. Another fic for a new person will probably be coming next weekend too!
Enjoy!
7 o'clock was a magical hour. Fall was quickly approaching so the sky was usually dark a few minutes after. Most of the people have left the building and the halls were quiet.
Y/n was pressed into Chris' side, her hand moving rapidly around his length. Her bracelets rattled together to her annoyance but Chris liked for her to keep them on since he was the one who bought them for her.
"We all went in with the same plan, but that dickhead fucked everything up."
He just wouldn't shut up.
Chris just came back from D.C. and the stress was evident on his face. That's why Y/n was trying to calm him down with her hand. She gave him a temporary distraction when she first played with his zipper then pulled him out of his pants. However, he had trouble pushing his grievances to the side for just one minute.
"Does that make you mad daddy?" Her grip tightened and he groaned. Y/n hoped she was going to get his full attention by doing that but his thoughts still wandered over to his presiding anger.
He only stopped rambling when a finger danced on his cheek and forced him to look in Y/n's eyes.
"You know I really, really desire you and I'd love to shit on other politicians with you. But please let me get you off.
Chris looked at her, annoyed for a split second, and he gruffed. But he wasn't going to stop her from wanting to get him off. He'd be stupid to do so when they didn't already have as much intimae time as it was. He relaxed against the back of his office's couch. Once he shut his mouth, he was truly able to feel just how she was doing her best to make him feel good. A look of concentration on her face brought a small smile to his.
"Just like that. Such a good girl for me, trying to make me feel good. You're an angel." He kissed her cheek and Y/n felt blinded by the praise.
Chris felt like he was going to explode. it had been days, almost a week, since he had relief. He tried to get himself off in that house he has in D.C. Thoughts of Y/n flashed through his mind but it only reminded him that he was becoming dependent on her -- even to get off.
Y/n loved feeling him pulse underneath her hand. She could see the cogs in his head still turning, but at least he was silent and in the moment with her. She loved that it was her that could reduce him to nothing. He grunted when she would add more pressure.
"I'm going to fuck your fist, okay?"
It was a bit comical hearing him talk like that with his public persona in mind but she nodded anyway.
Chris's hips moved upward to get more friction. It felt like heaven and he found himself slipping away. The only thing on his mind was her, and her hand/ He opened his eyes to look at her and she was already staring back at him. She placed her forehead on his and he reveled in her closeness.
"Please cum for me?" her voice was small and pleading as if she was on the receiving end of pleasure. But seeing him with his mouth open and feeling the weight of his cock in her hand made her wet.
"Want me to make a mess on your hand Button?"
"Yes, please cum!" Her begging made Chris smirk. "I want to see you cum!"
He made her feel desperate for it. Just a few minutes ago she was telling him to shut the fuck up now she was begging for him to cum all over her hand. She just wanted to see Chris' face contort in pleasure and hear those cries spill from his lips; it's her favorite thing in the world.
His hips stilled and white liquid spurted from the tip of his cock. He grunted while Y/n sighed lovingly. Drops of white coated and warmed her hand. She still stroked him, milking him for all he was worth until he was grabbing her wrist to stop her.
She loved to hear him sighing and trying to catch his breath. There was always a lost look in his eyes when he came because of her. That familiar gaze always came back when he locked eyes with her and a smile always spread across his lips.
"You're incredible."
The pat he gave her thigh was weak. Chris looked down at her messy hand and back to her face, waiting for her next move. She still had her hand wrapped around him but her grip was looser now.
Y/n let him go and brought her covered hand up to her mouth. Her tongue darted out to slide against the skin on her hand, collecting his cum onto her tongue. Chris watched her doing something so filthy and groaned. He felt his cock twitch but he tucked himself away and zipped himself up.
"If Paul is giving you a hard time then let me know. I know one of his staffers that can put him in his place."
"Is it that boy you went on a date with?"
The room fell silent and Y/n looked away from his burning eyes. She tried to keep it quiet, but maybe he overheard her talking to one of her co-workers about it. her and Chris weren't exactly committed to each other so she shouldn't have felt as bad, yet she did.
"it's okay...you can tell me." His voice was honeyed and his hand stroking her thigh coaxed the truth out of her.
"Yea it is. it was just one date though. I doubt it'll happen again."
"Can I ask why?"
She folded her arms, reluctant but unable to stop herself from speaking.
"He held my face...at the end of our date he held my face and kissed me. It reminded me too much of that thing you do."
Chris was surprised to hear that, but it was a pleasant surprise. He was on her mind just as much as she was on his. It stroked his ego, he couldn't lie, but it also made his heart swell.
"You're so precious."
His soft words and soft voice beckoned her into his arms. She leaned into him and he wrapped his arm around her waist.
Y/n was going to have to leave soon but she pretended like each second was an eternity. She still had a lot of questions about him and what this was. But there was no doubt behind any of his intentions and that soothed her.

Deific/Major Familiars and the Table of Offers
As stated before, the Deific Familiar is the first Familiar one has to approach. It corresponds to the patron God or Goddess of the contemporary practitioners, although in the past the concept of “Divinity” in a non-christian sense got lost with the end of real paganism. From then on, these entities were addressed as more powerful Spirits.
A BIT OF HISTORY
In the middle ages and in the first modern era, the Deific/Major Familiar appeared as the head of the Procession of the Dominae Nocturnae (Signore della Notte, Ladies of the Night).
All throughout the Europe of this period, we always find the same theme, although called with different names: there’s a figure, the Deific Familiar, that procedes with a following of Spirits (usually women and associated with Fairies) and human Souls (the so called Witches, that evidently were non other than individuals that were having an extracorporeal experience) passing from house to house.
Those who wanted to have the favors of said Procession and of the Deific Familiar that was the head of it, would completely clean the house, putting everything in order, making the beds, etc. Then they proceded to prepare the table for these Spiritual guests, leaving food and drinks on the kitchen table for the night.
During the night, the Procession would enter the house, stopping to eat, drink, dance and sing and the Deific Familiar, with his/her wand, would have blessed the same food: the Procession could only eat the Spiritual aspect of the food, filling the Material aspect with prosperity and many other virtues.
In the morning, the blessed food was supposed to be eaten and the left overs preserved.
According to some scholars, the theme of the Procession of the Dominae Nocturnae has its origin in the theme of the Wild Hunt or the Procession of the Dead.
The Wild Hunt was the Procession of Spirits of those who fell honorably in battle, according to the Viking beliefs, the Einhejar, together with the Valkyries, guided by Wotan (Odin), and it was said that it could be possible to see it in some occasion in the battlefield.
This theme will slightly change in the christian epoque, becoming the Procession of the Dead, a procession of Spirits of those who died a violent death, suicides, non baptized children and people who weren’t evil enough to deserve eternal damnation in hell, but that could not access Paradise either (the concept of Purgatory was developed from here). This belief, even if born in the germanic/norse world, will spread throughout Europe, thanks to the extensive preaching of the christian priests, that, while trying to eradicate said beliefs in the population, obtained the opposite effect.
This theme would then be changed and adapted by every culture: Wotan was substituted with local figures, first among all, Hellequin (from “ Helle König”, the King of Hell, from which Dante developed the figure of Alichino, that later became the famous figure of Arlecchino, Harlequin).
From the initial Wild Hunt, two different Processions would be developed:
Procession of the Dead, with a male like Hellequin as the head
Procession of the Dominae Nocturnae, with a female like Diana or Aradia as the head. This theme also received the influence of the beliefs on Fairies. In numerous cases the figure head of the Dominae Nocturnae is also the head of the Fairies (Doamna Zinelor in Romania, the Fata Maggiore in Sicily, the Queen of Elphame in Great Britain).
This introduction is useful to understand how to choose our Deific Familiar. This Familiar was different in each region, although the european theme was the same. It depended on local latent beliefs, while the myth of the Procession was pan-european, thanks to the christian priests.
CHOOSING OUR FAMILIAR
Said choice must be thoughtful; we’re linking ourselves with a Spirit, a link that will probably last for all our lives. It cannot be taken lightly.
With this premise, the first thing to do is to seek documents of Witch trials in our area. Usually, the most useful ones are the ones before the 1550s, because around this moment in when the Church starts to associate Witchcraft with the Devil, so we risk to find trials that describe Satan as the head of the Procession, instead of other Spirits, like Diana, Aradia, la Signora del Gioco (Lady of the Game), and others. Said trials are completely useless for our ends.
Analizing these trials and the local folklore (like reading books of popular legends about Witches) we need to pay attention to:
the names of the heads of the Witches
the names of the heads of the Fairies
the names of the heads of the Wild Hunt/Procession of the Dead
the names of other figures deriving from pre-christian divinities present in the folklore
The facebook page “Gli Dei della Stregoneria Italiana” already did good part of the job. Of course this work isn’t exhaustive and it’s good practice to try and integrate it with a personal research, but it’s a good way to start.
[Translator note: I will list the names and the regions to help the non italian speakers that benefit from these translations]
Sicily: the Regina delle Fate (Queen of the Fairies), also called Savia Sibilla, Signora Greca, Signora Grazia, Donna Inguanto, Mandotta and Donna Zabella; the Re delle Fate (King of the Fairies) also called Re Cozzo or Re Cucco.
Sardinia: Diana (the sardinian Fate were called Janas); Maimone also called Maimulu and Mamuthone (probably derived from Dioniso Mainoles. Aradia (also called Mama Erodas, Arada, Araja or Rejusta) was also seen as the patron of the Janas.
Calabria: in this folklore, the table were prepared for the Fatae, that the local albanian minority also called Drekezit o Fiatazit. There are also the figures of the Sibilla Cumana, of the local Befana called Papparutu or Pacciarutu and a group of local healers called Cerauli that had St. Paul (substitution to Eracle) as their patron.
Apulia: the Patrona de la Cheise, figure similar to the Donne di Fori/Donne di Fuori/Patruni di Casa/Patruni di Luocu Siciliane. One salutes her saying:”Bon ggiorne a la Patrona de la Cheise, u mmaile ca esce e un bbeine ca triese” (”Good morning to the Patrona de la Cheise, an evil that goes away and a blessing that enters”). To protect yourself from the apulian Streghe, the Masciare, the locals said “Driana meste ca va pela vì” (”Master Diana that travels the roads”). The local paganism of the V sec. a.C. consists in the cult of a divinity of the Sun (Mitra or Apollo?) and a divinity of the Moon (Diana?). Dioniso is the god linked to the Tarantismo, substituted by St. Paul in later times.
Basilicata: the Madonna Nera di Viggiano, probably derived from Persefone, has a black face and wonders between the fields of wheat and the cattle, it was a dark divinity from the shadows of the earth’s womb, the farmers’ Persefone, an infernal goddess. We also find prayers to the Santo Sole (Saint Sun), probably a remainder of Apollo or Helios.
Molise: the cult of St. Cosma and St. Damiano comes from the cult of the Dioscuri and in part from the cult of Priapo. This region shares with Campania the figure of the Ianare, the local Streghe, and as a result of Diana that gives the name to these Streghe.
Campania: Diana gives the name to the local Streghe, the Ianare/Janare and it’s linked to the cult of the Noce di Benevento (the Walnut tree of Benevento), together with Godan (Odin) and Iside (Isis). The folklore mentions other gods: the Zucculara (Hekate), Cupindo (Cupido), Erodiade (Aradia) and the Sepilla la bella (the Sibilla Cumana).
Lazio: Aradia lead the Streghe to Rome and gathered them together the day of St. John, near the homonym basilica. We also read about the Meridiana or Marianna, a demon of noonday, probably deriving from Diana. Cupiddo (Cupid) was also worshipped.
Abruzzo: this region shares with Umbria and Marche the cult of the Sibilla Appenninica (also called the Sibilla Picena or the Sibilla di Norcia); probably derived from the cult of Cibele, Cupra, Nortia or Venere; others think this figure was the Sibilla of the god Pico. The goddess Angizia in the origin of the figure of St. Domenico di Cocullo. Some of the other cults are the goddess Ancharia and Ercole Curino, the goddess Maia, the god Hermes, the Pasqua Pefanij or Bboffe, a feminine figure linked to Epiphany.
Tuscany: the tuscanian Befana, has the same origin of the venetian Redodesa; the Fantasma, a figure linked to Hekate; the Maga Accina on mt. Amiata, linked to the Sibilla Appenninica. The belief in Diana and Aradia is documented by the archbishop Sant’Antonino in the XV sec d.C., long before Leland.
Emilia-Romagna: the goddess head of the Streghe is called the Domina Cursus and Sapiente Sibilla. Other pagan figures of the local folklore are: the Borda, deriving from Borvo/Bormo a celtic god that presides the thermal and spring waters; the Fata was corresponding to the germanic Perchta, seen as a nice old lady, very clean and with a welcoming attitude.
Again, it is vital that you make your own research by looking up the names of these divinities and accessing the documents of the trials.
Once obtained these names, starting from the region(s) that we choose as a point of reference and the call that we feel towards a specific divinity, we can operate the decision of our Deific Familiar.
THE TAVOLO DELLE OFFERTE
Now that we have chosen our Deific/Major Familiar, we can start with the Tavolo delle Offerte (the Table of Offerings), a table spread with food and drinks for our Familiar and their Procession.
Here is how it goes:
Thoroughly clean the house (or at least the room in which you’ll operate this ritual, usually the kitchen).
Set the table (if we’re forced to work in other rooms, an altar will suffice) with a clean tablecloth, table napkins, cutlery, dishes, glasses, a bottle of wine or another drink of choice and the following meals (first course, second course, side dish, dessert or fruit). You’ll also need one or more chairs, so that our guests can seat.
Recite a prayer to manifest that we’re leaving this offering to our Deific Familiar and its following, inviting them inside, allowing them to dance, eat, sing and drink inside our house and asking them to consume our food and to bless it after they consumed its Spiritual aspect, and to cast their blessing upon us, our house and to its inhabitants.
We can light some incense and leave some musical instruments as a further offer. Adding candles and tapers that represent our Deific Familiar, statues or images of them, flowers and so on, it’s also acceptable. These are contemporary additions, but the banquet is the necessary base of the offering.
In the morning, we will approach the table, thank the Deific Familiar and we’ll eat the blessed food. Upon finishing the meal, we’ll thank the Deific Familiar once more, we’ll tell them goodbye and procede to clean up.
WHEN AND HOW OFTEN LEAVE THE OFFER?
The foundation of the relationship with a Familiar Spirit is to nurture them, in order to fuel the link between ourselves and the Spirit. In the past, the Strega fed their Familiar once a day. In this age, some people make offering everyday, others a few times a week or even once a week. In my opinion [TN: the author’s opinion] we should make an offer at least once a week.

1920s/Prohibition AU
So, @RGSpanner on twitter posted that ONE drawing of Tess/Anduin 1920s AU and it has consumed me. I have a whole premise that I don't know what to do with. Putting it out there in case someone wants to take it up and run with it.
Link to the OG fanart here:
https://twitter.com/RGSpanner/status/1432760945730785284/photo/1
Anduin is a young veteran of the Great War. He was either a med student or was planning to study medicine before the USA entered the war and he enlisted out of a patriotic sense of duty. He came back with shell shock and an overall diminished faith in humanity.
Tess is daughter of an old wealthy family, whose tolerance for her ambitions and freedoms ended with her college education. Now trapped with her parents, unable to work, being a flapper is her way of lashing out.
Genn, is the househead of old money, though the money part is largely diminished, due to his failures. Now in the early days of prohibition, he is being tempted to consider new “business” ventures.
Genn is an old friend of Anduin’s father and brings him home after hearing that the young lad is back from the war and isn’t doing all too great. In truth, he is projecting a lot of his own regrets and hopes about his own son, who had died in a fight outside of some night club almost a decade ago (This will become an important plot point later). He appoints Anduin to chaperon Tess, mostly because he is worried about his daughter, but also partially because he wants to give Anduin something to do, other than waste away.
Needless to say, neither of them are thrilled with this arrangement. Tess feels suffocated by what she considers to be overbearing of her parents. She is also offended by the assumption that she needs “protection” from this young miser.
Anduin for his part, can’t stand the people, the music, the noise, the lights, the dance or the conversation. But he does drink copious amounts of the illegal booze that flows through those parties.
Naturally, things will escalate to a turning point when he drunkenly starts a fight and gets saved by Tess, and her previously unknown knife skills.
Sylvanas, is a former vaudeville girl who came to inherit the estate and the wealth of one of her old admirers through completely legal means, just trust me bro. (No, it’s not Liam. But Liam was a fan of Sylvanas back in the way. Nathanos for his part, was not a fan of Liam). Now, she is seeing what every other crook does, an opportunity to make bank through illegal liquor trade, and nothing will stop her and her former Texas Ranger bodyguard, who is totally not her lover.
Down in Tampa, the matriarch of the Proudmoore family is waking up everyday asking herself “why am I still alive?” Her husband is dead, her youngest son is missing during a sea voyage and her daughter is, well, dead to her, and her oldest had passed away some years ago fighting in some war somewhere down in Latin America. With all of her family dead, missing or estranged, Katherine is merely going through the motions, ignoring her so-called friend’s shady dealings at her own peril. All of that gets upended when her murderess daughter returns from her unofficial exile in England, with her missing son in tow.
Up in Washington, D.C. Shaw is sitting through a briefing on how to assist the Bureau of Internal Revenue in enforcing the Volstead Act. Having switched to the BOI from a military career, before this he had worked to infiltrate socialist/communist/anarchist movements to bring down those dangerous agitators, but now he is being told to infiltrate criminal gangs and apprehend drunkards.
It will go smoothly and diligently, no controversy, no dangerous romance. It’s not like there is a charming little devil of a smuggler called Flynn Fairwind who will be working on a whole operation to bring rum from Cuba to Tampa, ha ha ha.(/s)
Jaina is a suffragette who managed to get herself arrested. Her family pulled a lot of ropes to get her out and bring her home. Which wasn’t all that difficult with Daelin being a former governor of Florida. It was a whole drama and caused a lot of tensions at home. However, things took a horribly ugly turn when daddy realized his baby girl wasn’t just a suffragette but also was working together and even being friends with a negro. Needless to say, the head of a family that was plantation owners and Confederate officers just a generation ago, does not take kindly to miscegenation.
He physically attacks her and she defends herself, the ensuing struggle ends with the accidental death of Daelin. The event breaks the whole family, basically permanently. Katherine resolves to hide it all and they pull some heavy favors with an old family friend (it’s Cyrus Crestfall) and pay a ton of money for a fake coroner’s report, to make it look like Daelin died of a heart attack. But it is done between the mother and daughter, and Jaina is not so kindly shipped off to England. She stays there, gets work as a teacher for a few years thanks to her education and when the war starts, she volunteers as a nurse.
Really, I want to see at least one scene where Shaw mows down some gangsters with a Colt Monitor and one where Nathanos pulls a masterful ambush on cocky rivals and makes the Chicago Typewriter work in all its glory.

The States and 2P America
So the 2ps get to the 1p world after making a truce with their counterparts and escaping their collapsing world where they're the only survivors. They then proceed to live with their 1ps in a crazy roommate sort-of situation. The only problem is that when Allen gets to Alfred's house it's this huge mansion and one of the states opens the door making him very confused as he never had states of his own and his idiotic 1p is the father of 50 kids!
"What the *beep* Porkchop?! Since do you have fifty little brats runnin’ around?!"
Alfred gives him a full rundown on finding/raising the states and then proceeds to draft him into babysitting! At first, Allen tried to ignore them but then faces the painful realization that leaving 50 states alone is never a good idea. After finally rounding up everyone he could find and freeing the thirteen (most responsible being Delaware and Virginia) from being trapped in the barn by their younger siblings, he does a headcount.
Allen: Okay one, two, three.....45. We're missing five! Where's Nevada, Hawaii, Alaska, Texas, and New Mexico?
Random state raises their hand: I think Nevada's in Vegas gambling again. He goes there a lot to triple his allowance!
Another state: I remember Texas said something about rodeos and bull riding all the way to Dallas. Also, Alaska and Hawaii left a note saying something about hanging out with New Mexico and Tony in Roswell!
Allen: But we're in D.C.! How did they get all the way over there in 3 hours?! *States shrug while Allen looks close to screaming into the void* Okay, everyone into the bus! We're going to get your siblings!
Cue cross country road-trip like the hangover where, after hours of getting lost in Disney Land, Delaware’s nagging about being the oldest and most mature much to Massachusetts chagrin because he’s clearly got better colleges, getting into a dance contest in Maine, keeping Arizona from getting stuck in the Grand Canyon for the hundredth time, Wisconsin participating in a cheese eating contest, Maine cooking seafood, Georgia making 30 peach cobblers, Colorado making a giant igloo, Washington and Oregon's hippie phases making a return, playing hockey in Minnesota, fishing Michigan out of the great lakes, New Jersey getting stalked by the Jersey Devil who’s like that stray cat that keeps following you around, keeping New York from starting a fight at Yankee’s game, gator wrestling in the Florida everglades, getting dressed for Mardi Gras in Lousianna, getting lost in Iowa’s biggest corn maze, the Dakota twins almost killing the Carolinas for trying to graffiti Mt. Rushmore (there’s a bit of a twin rivalry), avoiding the secret service less they get caught and ratted out to Alfred, seeing Old Faithful at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming and trying to keep Alabama from sticking his head in it on a dare, crossing the Mississippi, running from rodeo clowns that Tennessee angered after he picked a fight with them for insulting his country music, finally picking up Texas with his new Rodeo bull-riding championship belt and tying him up with his own lasso, various misadventures, including recuing Idaho from an accidental marriage, in Vegas that will stay in Vegas, finding/grounding Nevada from gambling after he almost lost 50 grand and Wyoming to a circus, they finally arrive in Roswell.
Allen, too tired to care at this point: Alright! Who's this Tony New Mexico, Hawaii, and Alaska said they we're with?
Maryland: He's Dad's cool alien friend from 1947. New Mexico likes hanging out with him in his spaceship playing pranks on Britain and the other nations!
Allen hardly believes her but is too tired to care at this point: A-Alien? Sure, why not?! Let’s just go get them! Maybe we’ll run into Nessie too!
Iowa whispering to Ohio: But isn’t Nessie in Scotland?
Ohio: *shrugs*
After falling into a series of booby traps a la Alaska, they finally track down Tony’s ship in Alaska and find the three playing video games with Tony. It finally registers in Allen’s mind that there’s a real freakin’ alien in front of him playing Mario Kart.
Allen: T-t-that’s an….
State: Yep!
Allen: And he’s playing video games….
States: Yep!
Allen, not able to handle this anymore: *faints*
After a not so long drive back to D.C. courtesy of New Jersey’s driving, Getting KFC in Kentucky for supper with vegan salad for Allen and irritating said state in the process, and almost forgetting Rhode Island, they finally make it bake to D.C. and settle Allen down on the couch, gathering around him to watch a Marvel marathon acting like the innocent little angels they’re not. They also duct tape California’s mouth shut and tie her up with Texas’ lasso because she wouldn’t stop complaining about watching her newest one instead. Alfred finally arrives home from a meeting in Berlin around the time they finish Doctor Strange and sees Allen crashed on the couch with the states around him.
Alfred: So did you have a good time with Uncle Allen?
States: We sure did!
Wisconsin bragging about his trophy made entirely of cheese: I’m the king of cheese once again!
Alfred: Great! Now it’s off to bed everyone!
States: Aww! But we wanted to stay up and play with Uncle Allen!
Alfred: No buts, you can play again tomorrow! Now off to bed!
The states start trudging up to their rooms with California finally being freed. Georgia putting a blanket over Allen, Hawaii putting a hibiscus print pillow under his head, and Maryland putting a note on the end table as they go out. Allen finally wakes up and Alfred, watching the rest of the marathon notices.
Alfred: You were awesome with them dude! I’m going to let you babysit from now on!
Allen: *Screams and faints again*
Alfred: Heh! He’s so excited! *Munches on popcorn*
The next morning Allen wakes up and reads the note: “Thanks for taking care of all of us today! We had a lot of fun, Uncle Allen! From the states. P.S. You were super cool playing baseball at Yankee stadium! Teach us sometime? Also, there's a salad for you in the fridge! :)"
He crumbles the note and puts it in his jacket trying not to break his tough-guy persona. But later when no one looking, he takes it out with a small smile and thinks these brats aren’t so bad after all.
Eventually, they grew on him and Allen comes to consider the all the states like his own secretly loving it when they call him Uncle Allen. They may be little gremlins but his gremlins and if you so much as touch one hair on their head you’ll get a face full of his nailed bat!
Just another day in the Jones’ household!
Meanwhile In Canada:
James is babysitting the provinces for Mathew and is currently in drill sergeant mode pacing in front of the nervous, with the exception of Quebec who's extremely excited, lined-up provinces. Kumajiro (cub) and Kuma (adult) are just chilling and watching them with whistles around their necks and cute little maple leaf hats courtesy of British Columbia.
James: All right, listen up! I’m going to teach you all how to rough it and survive out in the wilderness! Now, who knows how to start a fire?
All the provinces turn to stare at Manitoba.
Manitoba: Oh, come on! I set fire to Papa’s flannel shirt collection one time!
James: Okaaaaay ignoring that, everybody get into groups of two and I’ll assign jobs!
Nova Scotia raises her hand: But there’s thirteen of us!
James: Fine then, eenie meenie miny mo… *Points to Prince Edward Island* you! Prissy pants boy you're with me! We’re gathering firewood!
P.E.I. looking up from his mirror: Excuse me!? I’m not gonna get these designer clothes dirty picking up filthy wood!
James *facepalms*: Give me that! *Proceeds to chuck the mirror into the lake much to P.E.I’s horror and Ontario’s glee!*
(They don't get along because of P.E.I.’s arrogant personality and constant declaring himself in charge despite Ontario being the oldest and having the capital).
James: We’re out here to survive off the land which means no cell phones, no internet, and definitely NO BEAUTY PRODUCTS. NOW IS THAT CLEAR?!
Provinces: Sir, yes sir!
James being the big softie that he is but won't admit: Good! Now we meet back here by sunset and we’ll roast marshmallows!
Everyone hurries and gets on with their jobs with Alberta somehow ending up stuck in a tree and harassed by woodpeckers and Yukon and Saskatchewan being the most successful by communicating with/befriending a family of beavers that help them build a shelter. By the end of the day, James also feels a sense of fatherly protectiveness and pride over the provinces like Allen. he also secretly loves it when they call him Uncle James. Nunavut also manages to find bigfoot who helps gather food much to James’ shock!

My Halloween Playlists

I wanted to just embed them but I couldn’t figure out how to do that. If someone tells me how to embed MixCloud to Tumblr I'll go back and do that.
