Nate Archibald x fem! Reader (named)

What are you doing here? With Dan?’ Nate asked, eyebrows raised. Dan grabbed Charlotte’s hand, ‘We’re dating’ He announced, ‘We are?’ Charlotte asked, Dan gave her a look, ‘I-I mean, Yeah! We are!’ She corrected herself. ‘What?!’ Serena said, shock evident in her eyes and speech. ‘We broke up a month ago Dan! And you find one of my good friends to date?’. Dan rolled his eyes, ‘Exactly Serena. We broke up a month ago, and You are lip locking with someone else. I guess mistakes do repeat themselves, even bad ones.’ With that he grabbed Charlotte’s arm and led her away.

‘What was that?’ Charlotte asked her ponytail smacking her back. ‘I don’t know! I guess I panicked!’ Dan said, running his hands through his disheveled hair. She sighed, ‘it’s ok, we didn’t plan any of that did we?’ ‘Anyways,’ Dan said, ‘What’s your history with Nate?, you mentioned something about liking him for a few years.’ Charlotte sighed, her shoulders slumping slightly. ‘It's a long story, but the short version is that I've had a crush on Nate for a while. We've been friends, but I've never had the courage to tell him how I feel.’ ‘Friends?’ Dan raised his eyebrow, ‘That’s interesting. Never thought Nate would be friends with someone other then the upper east side elite.’ Charlotte laughed, ‘Hey! He isn’t that bad you know. And I did go to Constance for a while and my father runs a successful Architectural firm, so never really felt out of place.’ She remarked, ‘I actually met Chuck first, while staying in his dad’s hotel, he’s the one who introduced me to Blair and then Serena and then eventually, I met Nate.’ Dan nodded, ‘Okay, but I find it hard to believe that Chuck didn’t…. You know, try to have sex with you?’ She laughed ‘Oh, believe me! He did! And I now find it hilarious that I didn’t even know until Blair told me that he was trying to!’ ‘And then, I deflected his advances and we formed a playful relationship.’ Dan raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "A playful friendship with Chuck Bass? That's quite a feat." Charlotte smiled wryly. "I've always been good at handling his charm and deflecting his advances. Besides, I think he respected my boundaries." Dan opened his mouth to respond, but Nate intervened.

‘Charlotte? Are-are you really dating Dan?’ Nate asked his voice slightly trembling, ‘I-I am!’ She said, with sudden confidence and while grabbing Dan’s hand, ‘Oh…’ Nate’s voice trembled. He looked up and pointed towards the the house, ‘I’m gonna go, Catheri-someone’s waiting for me.’ Nate turned and walked away, leaving Charlotte and Dan standing there in an awkward silence. Charlotte bit her lip, feeling a mix of guilt and confusion. She hadn't expected Nate to react this way. After all, he had never shown any romantic interest in her before, and they had always been just friends.

Dan, on the other hand, was trying to process the unexpected turn of events. He hadn't planned on telling Serena that he and Charlotte were dating, but the situation had forced his hand. Now he found himself in the middle of a complicated love triangle involving his ex-girlfriend and his new girlfriend's longtime crush.As the night wore on, the tension between Charlotte, Dan, and the rest of the group was palpable. Serena couldn't help but feel hurt and confused by Dan's sudden relationship with her friend, and Nate was struggling to come to terms with the fact that Charlotte had moved on. Blair, always one to enjoy drama, was relishing in the chaos, and Chuck was observing the situation with his usual smirking indifference.The party continued, with guests mingling and gossiping about the unexpected developments. Charlotte tried her best to enjoy herself, but the awkwardness of the situation hung over her like a dark cloud. She couldn't help but steal glances at Nate from across the room, wondering if he would ever come to terms with her new relationship.

Meanwhile, Dan was torn between his lingering feelings for Serena and his growing connection with Charlotte. He had always been the outsider in the Upper East Side world, and now he found himself even more entangled in its web of secrets and scandals.

As the night came to a close, and the guests began to depart, Charlotte couldn't shake the feeling that her return to Constance had brought more complications than she had ever anticipated. She knew that navigating the treacherous waters of Manhattan's elite would be challenging, but she had never expected it to be this complicated.

The days that followed were filled with more drama, as Charlotte tried to balance her friendship with Serena, her new relationship with Dan, and her lingering feelings for Nate. The dynamics of the group were shifting, and no one was quite sure how to handle it.And in the midst of it all, Chuck Bass was watching, waiting, and plotting in his typical enigmatic fashion. He had always been the puppet master of their little world, and he had no intention of letting go of the strings anytime soon.The stage was set for a tumultuous school year at Constance Billard and St. Jude's, with secrets, betrayals, and unexpected alliances waiting to unfold. The Upper East Side was about to become even more scandalous, and Charlotte Jackson was right in the center of it all.

It had been two years since you’ve seen Ellie. Ever since your father found out that you and Ellie had been more than just “best friends” he sent you away to the Hamptons and made you spend every day volunteering at the local church for three months, that was until you met Dan. Daniel had served time in the war and was persistent on taking you out to dinner. You liked Dan but something was missing, he wasn’t her. Your father was more than pleased to hear about Daniel and even more pleased to hear about his inheritance you and him will be getting once he marries. Now you’re laying in bed, in the middle of the night. It’s a month before the big wedding but you just can’t shake the awful feeling you have. You should be happy, I mean your father is getting what he wants and will finally look you in the eyes again, and you do love Dan so what’s up? what is keeping you from being completely happy? It’s Ellie. it’s always been Ellie. As you lay awake you wonder how she’s doing now, how Joel is, if she still works as a millworker. Somehow, you remembering ellie at 12am, a month before your wedding has led you to drive back down to South Carolina the next morning, and right to Ellie’s front porch. You stood there frozen, not knowing whether to knock or just cower back to your car and drive back to the Hamptons to marry your fiancé. You didn’t have to make a choice as you heard a familiar voice behind you. “y/n?” you spin around to see Ellie covered in dirt wearing a white wife beater and jeans with those boots that used to trail mud everywhere and drive you crazy. “Ellie.” you said, unsure of how to explain why you’re at her door. “This was stupid, i shouldn’t have come” you panicked, stomping your pink little heels down the porch steps and to your car. “hold on now, wait a minute.” Ellie stepped in front of you. “You mean to say you drove all the way down here to say this was stupid and leave?” you stood there, dumbfounded. You weren’t sure how to respond so you just stood there, tail between your legs. Ellie took a few steps towards you “i don’t hear from you for two years and you just come down here out of the blue?” Ellie says. You furrow your brows “I didn’t write to you because you didn’t write to me, Ellie” You said, voice strong but your eyes said something different by the way tears were threatening to spill from them. “i wrote to you, everyday, for a year” Ellie said, holding eye contact. She wrote to you? You had checked your mailbox every morning, even on Sundays when the post office was closed and still nothing. Ellie had noticed your fragile state and asked you to sit down on the porch steps to talk, and you did. you talked about how mad your father was when he found out, how you had to leave without saying goodbye. You talked about Daniel and showed Ellie the shinny large diamond on your left hand. But most of all, you told her why you came back, and why she’s been plaguing you the most these past nights. “Wow you, uh, you really got your life planned out huh?” Ellie said. The corner of your lips twist up but not at her comment rather more on hearing her speak “Yeah, i do” Ellie stared at you for a moment, her hand playing with her pinky finger like she usually does when she’s nervous. Suddenly she dropped her fingers and pulled you in for a hug. “i’m proud” was all she said. Her touch brought a sense of familiarity and clarity that dug inside you, woven deep into your heart and the skin of your soul. You didn’t know it then that she would consume your every waking hour again and you’ll let her.

Part 2, Lipstick

Nate Archibald x fem! reader (NAMED)

Charlotte was having a pretty awesome day, just having landed in her summer house in the Hamptons, she had a few hopes that she wanted to complete, including having Nate Archibald as her boyfriend. She got off the helicopter and was escorted to her room, flopping down on her soft bed she sighed dreaming of finally meeting her old friends and that one guy she had liked through 4 boyfriends and two years straight. Her phone buzzed with a text from Blair, ‘Hey! Did you reach yet? The party starts soon. Get here soon!’ She responded with ‘yeah! just landed right now I’ll be there in 15!’ Charlotte walked towards her closet and looked through her choices, finally deciding on a white satin dress with long bell leaves and crossed around the neck.

She put her hair in a fancy ponytail and put on a fair amount of mascara and lip gloss. Charlotte looked in the mirror and smiled, walking out of the room she grabbed a pair of white Steve Madden boots and walked towards her white Corvette, sitting in it and driving off towards the party venue. She reached n about 20 minutes, Charlotte looked around for familiar faces, especially the one of Nathaniel Archibald. And when she finally did spot him......he was passionately kissing one of her good friends, Serena Van der Woodsen.

Charlotte stared at the couple with a gobsmacked expression, ‘Astonishing isn’t it?’ Charlotte turned around facing a smirking Charles, a.k.a. Chuck Bass standing behind her, ‘Chuck!’ she exclaimed, plastering a smile on her face and pulling the taller man in for a tight hug. Pulling away she smiled tightly, ‘It’s been so long! How are you?’, Chuck sighed, ‘I have been better, to be honest...’ he grabbed a bottle of champagne from the table beside them, ‘Care for a drink?’. Charlotte smiled, ‘You know I don’t...’ And that’s when the hurricane called Blair Waldorf made its debut.

Charlotte!’ Blair squealed, hugging her tightly, ‘You look gorgeous!’ She said. Charlotte grinned, ‘As do you!’. Blair finally noticed Chuck and looked at him in disgust, turning her attention back to Charlotte she smiled again, ‘How about we meet my new Boyfriend?’, ‘Oh! I would love to!’ Charlotte said, turning towards Chuck, ‘You coming?’. He smiled, ‘I’d rather not.’ She looked confused, her gaze travelling from Blair to Chuck ‘Oookkkk?’. Blair animatedly started to talk about what she had missed, pulling Charlotte‘s hand towards Marcus. Chuck sighed, staring at the bottle of champagne in his hand.

Stopping suddenly, Charlotte’s eyes fell on Blair’s Boyfriend, ‘Charlotte, Marcus, Marcus Charlotte!’ She introduced them, and Charlotte politely smiled at the couple, ‘Nice to meet you!’ She exclaimed, shaking his hand. Blair kissed Marcus, ‘Isn’t he gorgeous?’ She asked clutching his arm, ‘Also! He’s a lord!’ She said smiling even wider. Charlotte nodded, ‘Wait really? That’s awesome Blair!’. Her gaze travelled to Serena and Nate, now looking into each other’s eyes with love sick smiles. Charlotte felt tears starting to flood in her eyes, she muttered ‘I’m going to get a vitamin water’ and rushed away wiping the tears from her eyes.

‘Shit! I’m so sorry!’ Charlotte looked up upon hearing the voice who had just bumped into her, she stood up, ‘Oh, it’s no problem! It was kind of my fault! I wasn’t really looking at where I was headed…’ The man smiled at her, ‘No, I’m pretty sure it was mine,’ He said, ‘I’m Dan -Dan Humphrey, speaking of, I haven’t really seen you here before, I’m kinda of proud to say that even though I hate these snobby people- I know each and every one of them.’ He proudly said, putting a faint smile on Charlotte’s face, ‘Wait-‘ his smile dropped, ‘Unless- are the daughter of one of these snobby rich people?’ She laughed looking at his white face, ‘No- no! I’m an old friend of Blair, Serena, Chuck and Nate’ her voice trembled while saying his name. Dan looked relieved, ‘Oh! Well I am-was Serena’s Boyfriend.’ Then he muttered under his breath, ‘I had come to win her back, until I saw her lip-locking with the blonde beauty.’ Charlotte sadly smiled, ‘Yeah- no I understand what you’re going through, I have liked Nate for 2 years straight.’ Dan looked surprised, ‘Really?, well it was kind of a shock to too them together and kissing to be honest.’ He remarked.

‘Dan? Charlotte?, What are you guys doing here and together?’ Serena walked up behind Dan, holding her dress up and looking completely puzzled. ‘Serena! It totally worked! Catherine just told me to meet her in the…’ Nate cheerfully started saying not noticing Charlotte and Dan staring at them open-mouthed, ‘Charlotte?’ And that’s when he noticed her, a look of confusion and surprise in his blue orbs.

Dan didn’t have any friends in Rome. Sometimes, Jenny took a train from London on weekends and visited him, but so far, Dan hadn’t really talked to many people here. It was only about four-thirty at home, so he wouldn’t be surprised by a text from his dad or Vanessa, but it wasn’t either of them.

According to the caller ID, it was Nate. Dan wasn’t sure when he set a contact picture of him, but he had a feeling Nate did it himself when he last had his hands on Dan’s phone. It was a blurry picture from some club in the Hamptons. Nate was sunburnt from the beach and squinting into the flash with his sunglasses pushed up into his hair, a shot of tequila raised in one hand.

Dan hadn’t heard from him since before he left, but they didn’t leave on bad terms. Not really. Nate was busy. The Spectator was taking up all of his time due to his frenzy to keep it out of hot water, so it wasn’t exactly surprising that he’d gone off the grid for a while.

Against his better judgment, Dan answered his call.

Lipgloss v gossip

One of the weirder Royal stories of recent weeks was that Meghan and Kate’s falling out came about because of a breach of lipgloss etiquette. Maybe it did, but that feels like quite a minor incident to break up an entire monarchy over. Besides, there’s a far more compelling explanation for the frosty relations between the two.

Meghan didn’t agree with the way that Kate handled the so-called “Rural Rivalry” situation and told everyone who attended her US baby shower so – filling them in on all the ins and outs of it, explaining what she would have done differently had it been her instead.

Naturally, the gossip soon spread all over NYC and the Hamptons, before making its way back across the pond to Kate – who was furious to find out she’d been such a hot topic of conversation at the party.

The problem here continues being: is the rumour true or false? 😅

Oh wow. PopBitch was one of the few outlets covering Harry’s drugs use (he supposedly got cocaine from his trainer and he said “hi granny” when using a pound bill to snort the stuff), and they reported the freebies in June 2018 when everyone still thought Meghan was a saint, so they are kind of reliable.

However, they get little details like names and titles wrong sometimes. Your call as to whether you believe it or not.

But the interesting part here is that the “rural rivalry” wasn’t public until AFTER Meg’s shower, I think. The articles came out in mid to late March.

Edit: Here’s the Dan Wootton article (he’s the show biz reporter who got the Megxit scoop supposedly from Meghan’s camp). There supposedly was a print mention in the Daily Mail a few days before, but I never saw it. Anyway, the earliest that puts it is Mid-March, several weeks after Meg’s baby shower. Totally open to corrections on this one.

And Meghan’s baby shower was February 19th. If the Popbitch blind is correct what they are saying is that the source of the Rose rumors was…Meghan. Way to hide the lead, Popbitch.
