“Hey, Damian.” Destiny Anderson smiled at Damien as she walked past him and his group members. She wiggled her fingers at him and gave him a wink as she kept walking past them. 

“Damn, we invisible or something?” He heard Carlito ask but Damian paid him no mind as his eyes followed Destiny as she walked by. Destiny had an extra pep in her step as she felt The World Heavyweight Champion's eyes on her. 

“Oy! Damien” Finn snapped his fingers in front of his face breaking Damian out of his trance. “You alright mate?” He asked, trying not to laugh at Damian’s lust-stricken expression

Damian blinked rapidly, tearing his gaze away from Destiny's retreating figure. "Yeah.” He cleared his throat, focusing his gaze back on his stable mates. “ I'm good," he mumbled, running a hand through his hair. 

Finn chuckled, clearly enjoying Damian’s flustered state. “I’ve never seen you blush like this Damian.” 

Damian pushed Finn away from him. “Go to hell.” Damian chuckled “Can we get back on topic please?” 

Destiny bit her lip as she watched Damian talk to Jey Uso before their scheduled backstage promo. She so badly wanted to go over and join their conversation but as soon as she looked at Damian she got tongue-tied and could barely form any coherent thoughts, so she did the next best thing, what she was good at, flirting. 

Her heart pounded as she considered her next move. The mere thought of having an actual conversation with Damian made her want to throw up.  Taking a deep breath, Destiny stood up straighter and as confidently as she could she walked over to Jey and Damian. 

“Hey, Jey.” Destiny said as she stopped in front of the par. Her eyes flickered up to Damian and she was pleased to see that his eyes were already on her, checking her out in her ring attire. “Damian.” 

“Wus good Des.” Jey smiled back pulling her into a hug. “This new?” He asked eyes trailing over her body. Jey missed the way Damian’s eyes narrowed at him, but Destiny saw and it sent a thrill down her spine. 

“Mmhm.” She hummed with a small nod. “You like?” She asked giving a little 360, not missing the slight groan Damiam let out. She bit her lip, trying to mask her smile. 

“It looks good,” Damian replied. 

“Thank you.” Destiny beamed. It was now her turn to eye him. She bit her lip again as her eyes zeroed in on his World Heavyweight Championship that was around his waist. “You know, I don’t think I’ve ever been so jealous of a title before.” She muttered, her left hand coming up and toying with the top of the title. 

Jey and Damian’s eyes followed her hand. Jey smirked as Damian made a choking noise in his throat. 

“Goddam.” Jey snickered. “Imma catch u later Uce,” Jey said to Damian, still laughing as he left the pair there, staring at each other. 

Damian cleared his throat, his eyes flickering between Destiny's hand on his title and her face. "Is that so?" he asked, his voice low and husky. Destiny’s eyebrow arched up, this was the first time he flirted back. She quickly schooled her features and cleared the shock look off her face. 

Destiny nodded, her fingers still tracing the edge of the championship belt. "Mhmm," she hummed. "It gets to be so close to you all the time." She looked up at him through her lashes, her heart racing at her own boldness. 

“Well –”

“Damian! We’ve been looking all over for you!” Damina broke his and Destiny’s staring contest and looked over at big-headed ass McDonagh who was making his way over to them. “Finn wants to go over everything one more time. You haven’t been answering your phone.” 

Damian's jaw clenched as he turned back to Destiny, frustration evident in his eyes. "I have to go," he said, his voice tinged with regret.

Destiny's hand fell away from the championship belt, disappointment washing over her. She nodded, trying to keep her composure. "Of course.” She said forcing a smile on her face “Bye Damian.” She waved, as he walked away with McDonagh. She sighed and was about to continue her path towards the catering area but was stopped when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She smiled before turning around thinking it was Damian, her smile dropped though when she saw it was JD instead. 

“Stay away from Damian.” What the fuck?! Destiny’s jaw dropped open in shock. “He doesn’t need you distracting him.” 

Destiny's shock quickly turned to anger. Who did McDonagh think he was to tell her what to do? She narrowed her eyes at him, her voice dripping with sarcasm as she replied, "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were Damian's keeper."

“Funny” He rolled his eyes. “Listen, sweetheart. Damian's got a lot on his plate right now. He doesn't need some rookie trying to get in his pants and messing with his head. Stay away or else.” JD finished off by glaring at Destiny before turning and walking away from her. 

Destiny let out a scoff and watched JD walk away. The fuck was his problem?

Bucky didn’t trust you yet. To test if what you said about your lousy luck was true, he sent you to his competitor, Damien, a mafia boss who owed money to Bucky.

Damien spent most of his time at a museum. Bucky gave you an order, “And I want to see if what you said is true.”

You didn’t thoroughly dislike the idea because, as an artist, you enjoyed going to museums. The museum was a grand, historical building with high ceilings and intricate architecture. Walking through the halls filled with timeless masterpieces, you felt a sense of calm despite the task at hand.

As you wandered, you spotted Damien. He was exactly as Bucky had described: an older man, about the same age as Sir Galileo, with an air of authority and a sharp gaze. You stood at a respectful distance, admiring the same painting he was fixated on—"Portrait of Madame X."

Noticing your interest, Damien turned to you. “A fine piece, isn’t it?” he said, his voice rich and cultured. “John Singer Sargent’s ‘Portrait of Madame X’. It caused quite a scandal when it was first exhibited.”

You listened intently as he explained the history and significance of the painting. His passion for art was evident, and you found yourself genuinely engaged in the conversation.

Suddenly, your phone rang. It was Bucky. “Where’s the bad luck? I see you talking to him without anything happening,” he demanded.

“Uhm…” You hesitated. You never knew when bad luck would strike.

Just then, a scream pierced the air. “Kyaa!”

You turned to see another visitor pointing in horror. The painting you had been admiring had fallen off the wall, landing dangerously close to Damien. You were too stunned to speak.

“No kidding,” Bucky muttered through the phone, equally shocked. It seemed impossible for a securely hung painting to suddenly fall in a museum. He was beginning to believe your curse might be real.

For the second test, Bucky sent you to a café. “Just choose a table and sit near my other competitor, Ivan. It’s an easy task,” he instructed.

You entered the cozy café, its atmosphere warm and inviting with the smell of freshly brewed coffee and pastries. You found a table near Ivan and started sketching another jewelry design for Bucky.

Ivan, seated nearby, glanced over and noticed your drawing. “That’s quite impressive,” he remarked, leaning in slightly.

“Thank you,” you replied, offering a polite smile.

“What inspires your designs?” he asked, genuinely curious.

Before you could answer, a waitress tripped and spilled a hot cup of coffee right onto Ivan’s thigh. He yelped in pain and surprise, the conversation abruptly ending.

Bucky, watching everything unfold on a screen, was astounded. “You really do bring bad luck.”

“...” You remained silent, unsure of how to respond.

“But I’m getting all the advantages,” Bucky continued with a sly grin. “Thank you.”

You didn’t know whether to feel offended or relieved that Bucky was starting to believe you.

The last incident that convinced Bucky was when he brought you to a ball party hosted by another gangster whom Bucky despised, who was there to show off his wealth.

The host planned to reveal a rare diamond during the party, but it was stolen. This was unexpected and seemingly impossible due to the high level of security. While everyone else panicked, Bucky remained calm. He looked at you and said, "You’re my lucky charm."

All these experiences made your once dull life exciting. You started to appreciate the bad luck you had. You realized that working with Sir Galileo was the longest job you had ever held.

One day, you asked him if he had ever faced misfortune. Surprisingly, he said, “I did. My former driver got into an accident, and the electricity short-circuited on the first day you worked here.”

You were shocked and felt guilty. “It must be because of me.”

He shook his head and said, “It’s nothing. I’ve lived a long time and faced a lot of things, especially working with gangsters and mafia. I just keep on living.”

‘Just keep on living.’ He’s right. Even with bad luck, you continued living. Life always punched you to the ground, but you got back up again.

Slowly, you started liking your bad luck. You experienced exciting events, even assisting Bucky in getting rid of his rival businesses.

But then you noticed that your bad luck didn’t happen as often. In fact, you started getting lucky.

You found $100 on the street one day, got a free coffee when the barista mistakenly made an extra, and even won a small prize in a local raffle. It felt like life was turning around.

Curious, you revisited the same paranormal. She said, “Bad luck left after you started liking it.”

“How?” you asked, bewildered.

“It’s complicated,” she replied with a knowing smile.

You still couldn’t believe it. You remembered the saying, “Fall in love with your problems, and maybe they will leave you too.”

Damn. Even bad luck left you.

If there was no bad luck, how could you help Bucky?

Since then, you stopped meeting Bucky, leaving him wondering. Days turned into weeks, and Bucky felt your absence deeply. Determined, he went to find you.

“Do you think I only wanted you because of your bad luck?” he asked, his eyes searching yours.

“Didn’t you?” you replied, your heart pounding.

Bucky stepped closer, his gaze intense. “I said before, you’re the only woman who’s willing to risk her life for me.”

You felt a warmth spread through you as he spoke. "Bucky, I—"

He interrupted, "It's not just your bad luck. It's you. You're brave, resilient, and you’ve changed my life in ways I never expected. I don't want to lose that. I don't want to lose you."

You looked into his eyes, seeing a depth of sincerity that took your breath away. "I never thought I'd hear you say that," you said softly.

"I mean it," he replied, taking your hand in his. "You bring something into my life that no one else ever has. Bad luck or not, I want you with me."

For a moment, you hesitated, memories of your past misfortunes flashing through your mind. But then you realized that with Bucky, you had faced and overcome those challenges together. And now, without the constant shadow of bad luck, you felt a new kind of strength.

"You really mean it?" you asked, needing to be sure.

He nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "Yes, I do. We make a great team. And I want us to continue, no matter what comes our way."

You smiled back, feeling a sense of relief and joy wash over you. "Alright, Bucky. Let's face the future together."

With that, he pulled you into a tender embrace, holding you close. "Thank you," he whispered. "For everything."

You looked up at him, your heart full. "Thank you for believing in me."

From that moment on, your life with Bucky was filled with new adventures, challenges, love, and support. Together, you faced whatever came your way, more vital than ever. And you knew that, no matter what, you would always have each other.

You open your eyes slowly and feel a smile appear on your face as you blink away your drowsiness. Once you did so, you stare up at the ceiling and take a moment to yourself to really wake up. You feel your hand around on the other side of the hotel bed and let out a sigh when you feel it empty.

Damien and you had a complicated relationship. Recently you had admitted your feelings for him and ever since, you two would share a night with each other and the next day, he’d always disappear. Each time that happened, it would break your heart. But you just couldn’t stop. Those nights were too addicting for you to stop them. It gave you a chance to be with him and see if he too felt what you felt.

Last night was different. To you at least. You both shared a night of intimacy that seemed more like…love?

No because if it was, I wouldn’t have woken up to an empty side. You thought with a sigh as you slowly sit yourself up.

“Buenas Días amor.” You hear a deep a voice greet you and you snap your head over to the source to see a shirtless back, showing off his tattoos.

You feel a smile creep up your face as you slowly stand up and make your way over to him, grabbing his shirt from the floor and putting it on you on the way over to the balcony where he stands, smoking a cigar.

Guess it did mean something

“Good morning.” You walk up behind him, slowly wrapping your arms around his back and laying your head on him. “You stayed.”

You pull one of your arms away from his torso and towards his back to trace his tattoo as you feel him grab your other hand and raise it up to give it a kiss. “I realized how much of a pendejo, I have been to you. Hurting you todo los días and I realized that you don’t deserve it. I’m here to man up and say that I am ready to start something with you.”

You feel yourself slowly smile, “I love this tattoo. It’s my favorite.” You say, ignoring his words. You decided he would have to earn that something with you.

You feel him let out a deep chuckle, “I thought you said my arm tattoos were your favorite?”

You did. “I did…guess I had a change of thought.” You shrug and give his back a kiss, “You should get more on your back, I think it’ll make you look sexier.” You swoon.

“How long will it take you to forgive me?” You hear him mumble.

“How long will it take you to get another back tattoo?” You stand on your tippy toes so you can perch your chin on his shoulders.

He turns his head to peer down at you and you stare ahead, ignoring his gaze. “Whenever you want.”

“Then, I guess it’s whenever I want to forgive you.” You look over at him and lay a kiss on his lips with a smile.

"No!" This has to be true, because Miranda has said it with all the confidence of the fussy little princess she is, and also the confidence of someone who is already standing on top of Damien's legs. It might just be the upper half of her body, claws held delicately up and above his pants leg to avoid accidental stabbings, but she is kinda heavy. That's a lot of neck and head already to support, both of which are dedicating their time and energy to nipping at Damien's face.

It's a very determined amount of nipping. She can be very annoying when she wants to be.

"It is getting colder already and so I require to be held! There was frost this morning, Damien! Frost!! Can you imagine that?? Which is why I must sequester all of your bodily heat into myself immediately."

She is BITING Damien and being a PEST and if he does not hold her within his lap RIGHT NOW she is going to BITE HIM until he DIES (and EXPLODES) (not in that order).

There's the David/Darlin tattoo shop AU that has me frothing at the mouth because tattoo artists are stinkin hot. That's not even getting into their Cam/William fic, because god, that is such a good rarepair. We love two immortals finding love with one another, we really do. My personal favorite has got to be their Huxley/Darlin piece though, because Darlin gets to be cute and awkward and so, so loved in it.

Her Imperium!Lasko/Adam fic kind of changed my life, I'm kind of obsessed with it.

There’s <2000 fics, which makes Lovely a whole five percent of the fanfiction on their own. That’s wild and so hella cool. Highlights: Literally everything they write. Explore their extremely well done masterlist, it’s beautifully put together, and you’ll find something you love. (I’m particularly fond of the Darlin/Vega fic they wrote based off of one of FriendlyFaded’s posts~)

It's been fucking forever since I've touched this account, I know. My friend needs help, though, and we're at a point were we're using every avenue we can.

My friend Damien is almost done studying for his nursing degree at the University of New Mexico. He's less than a month away from graduation and the scholarship office decided to rip out his financial aid from under him. He's 8000$ short of being able to pay that last bit of tuition he needs and his licensing exams after graduation.

It's been his dream for years to become a nurse and work in the pediatric unit. He's disabled and spent a lot of time in the hospital growing up, and wants to help kids going through what he had to go through have an easier time. He's extremely passionate about this, and it would mean the world to both him and me to be able to get enough money to be able to pay this last bit of tuition. Anything helps. Part 10: 'Road work ahead'? Uh yeah, I sure hope it does!

You stirred awake in the snug confines of the bottom bunk, the sheets tangled around you. The light filtering through the curtains cast a warm glow, illuminating the cabin in soft hues. Damien lay beside you, his warm presence a comforting weight, and you couldn't help but smile at the sight of him. This morning felt different; he knew now, you knew now.

"Please tell me it wasn't a dream," Damien's voice was husky, still thick with sleep. He shifted slightly, his fingers brushing against your skin. His eyes opened slowly, a lazy smile stretching across his face as he gazed at you.

"It wasn't a dream," you whispered back, feeling that familiar flutter in your chest.

Damien leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead before his lips moved to your ear. "I'm really not ready for this to be over," he murmured.

You smiled, turning to face him fully. "Nothing is over, you can still have me, every night"

He chuckled softly, his thumb gently stroking your cheek. " I want to have you during the days too."

"You can have me whenever you like," you whispered.

"That's perfect," Damien said quietly, his hand finding yours. " this feels perfect."

Damien grinned, leaning in to kiss you, sealing the promise of what was to come.

Every movement felt deliberate, like he was memorizing the taste, the feel of you, grounding himself in the moment. You smiled into the kiss, your fingers tangling in his silver hair as the kiss grew more intimate, more full of promise.

But just as you were about to lose yourself in him completely, the sound of footsteps approaching the door interrupted the moment.

You both sighed, the moment paused but not lost, as Damien rested his forehead against yours, chuckling softly. "Of course," he murmured, still holding you close, unwilling to let go just yet.

Courtney's voice rang out, brimming with excitement. "Did you tell him yet?! Does he know?!"

You and Damien jerked apart, breathless, eyes wide as Courtney barged in with Shayne right behind her.

"Oh, he knows now," Shayne said with a smirk, leaning casually against the doorframe. "I can't believe he was the last person to know."

Damien blinked, dazed, still holding you in his arms. "Know what?"

You laughed, the moment disrupted but the joy still bubbling inside. "He knows."

Damien's gaze darted from them to you, still holding you protectively close, but the confusion on his face deepened. "You guys know.. that we are dating?"

"We know you liked her, she liked you and that she knew you liked her. We also know you guys had sex and now" She paused, a grin spreading across her face. "Now, we also know you guys are officially dating! This is so much fun"

"Oh, we know everything now," Shayne teased, shooting Damien a pointed look. 

You felt your cheeks flush, trying and failing to hide your smile as you exchanged a glance with Damien. He blinked, the realization slowly dawning on him.

Courtney practically squealed, clapping her hands together. "Oh my god, just imagine all the double dates we're gonna have." She jabbed Shayne, who groaned.

Damien groaned, burying his face in your neck. "Unbelievable."

"You're telling me!" Shayne shot back, laughing. "You've been in love with her for, like, years, and the minute you start hooking up, you keep it a secret? We all knew something was up way before she told us!"

"I—" Damien started, then stopped, still clearly processing. "Okay, but how did you know before she—?"

"Please," Courtney interrupted with a mischievous grin. "You two were sneaking off every chance you got. Everyone noticed." She winked. "I'm just glad you finally admitted it."

You couldn't help but laugh, the whole thing feeling surreal but strangely perfect. "Well, cat's out of the bag, I guess."

Damien finally lifted his head, his expression half-exasperated, half-amused. "I can't believe this."

Shayne chuckled, clapping Damien on the shoulder. "Believe it, man. Now, get up and get ready. Breakfast is waiting"

Damien shook his head with a sigh, then leaned in close to you, whispering just for you to hear, "I can't wait for the day when we don't have to get out of bed at all."

You grinned, whispering back, "Soon."

Shayne and Courtney stepped outside the room as you got ready for the final breakfast. You both reluctantly pulled yourselves together and stepped out of the room, Damien's hand lingered at the small of your back. You could feel his warmth, his reassurance in every touch.

"I don't want to hide anything anymore," Damien said softly. His gaze was steady, locking with yours. "I just want to be with you. Fully, openly."

Your heart swelled at his words, and you smiled back, feeling the weight of everything falling into place. "Me too."

Courtney, still riding the high of excitement, blurted out, "Oh yes, please tell everyone!"

Before you could respond, Spencer's voice suddenly piped up from behind you, startling everyone. "So it's time to reveal it all, huh?" he quipped, his arms crossed with an amused look on his face.

You turned, half-laughing, half-exasperated. "How are you always just there?"

Spencer shrugged with a smirk. "It's a talent." He raised an eyebrow, "so how are you going to do that?"

You exchanged glances with Damien, who shrugged with a grin. "I..I don't really know. I kind of wish it could just... happen?" Damien nodded in response.

Spencer's face lit up, a spark of genius in his eyes. He literally looked like a cartoon character with a light bulb over his head. "I've got to go" he exclaimed, spinning on his heels. "Start breakfast without me—I've gotta send something off!"

Before anyone could ask questions, Spencer was already halfway down the hall, running off with whatever wild plan had just formed in his mind.

Damien shook his head, laughing. "Why do I feel like we just unleashed something we can't control?"

You grinned, taking his hand as the four of you headed upstairs. "Well, maybe it's something unrelated?"

No one needed to respond, the look you gave eachother spoke loudly enough, "probably not"

The sound of footsteps echoed down to the lounge as you, Damien, Courtney, and Shayne made your way to the kitchen together. The energy in the group was light, though a shared glance between you and Damien carried the weight of the secret you were still keeping from the others.

Courtney, walked in first with a grin plastered on her face. Shayne followed close behind, giving a quick wink in your direction but staying quiet for the moment. The subtle exchanges between the four of you seemingly going unnoticed by the rest of the group.

Inside, Ian was already at the stove, flipping pancakes like he'd been awake for hours. "Well, well," he greeted, glancing over his shoulder. "Look who finally decided to show up together."

Damien's hand brushed lightly against the small of your back as you walked in together, the touch quick but intimate. Shayne caught the gesture and snorted softly before sliding into a chair. "Didn't know there was a time limit," he quipped, leaning back casually.

"Im surprised you even noticed we weren't here" Damien added, looking at the rest of the group as he stood close to you, his hand grazing the small of your back in a subtle but intimate gesture.

"Don't even try it, Damien," Arasha chimed in with a smirk. "We all notice a lot of stuff, especially Ian."

Ian chuckled as he plated a stack. "Damn right. I see everything."

Amanda, raised an eyebrow. "Hmm. You four seem awfully... close today." Her deadpan delivery made it hard to tell if she'd actually picked up on something.

Damien, ever quick on his feet, shrugged. "Maybe we're just excited for pancakes." He sent you a sideways glance, fighting the urge to smirk.

Courtney gave you a playful nudge before hopping up on the counter next to Ian. "You're making me some too, right?"

"Always," Ian said with mock exasperation, flipping another pancake. "I've accepted my fate as the group dad."

"Breakfast dad," Angela corrected with a bright smile, juice box in hand. "It's different."

Meanwhile, Amanda poured herself some coffee, her eyes half-open. "I'm just here for the caffeine."

"Yup," Trevor yawned as he shuffled in behind her, clearly still half-asleep. "Coffee's a must."

You glanced at Damien, catching his eye as he reached out to graze your hand subtly, making a smile spread across your face. Across the room, Shayne raised an eyebrow, his expression full of amusement. Courtney, already onto you, snickered quietly, giving Damien a look that said You’re not fooling anyone

Noah looked up from his toast, eyeing the group that had just entered. "You guys seem suspiciously cheerful for this early."

Chanse, not missing a beat, glanced up from his phone. "Yeah, what's going on? Did something happen?"

"Apparently multiple times" Courtney responded.

Damien shot a quick look at you, then at Shayne and Courtney, who were both barely containing their amusement. You shook your head subtly, but the energy in the room was electric. The secret felt like it was on the verge of spilling out at any second.

Damien leaned over to you, his voice low enough for only you to hear. "This is going to come out sooner or later."

You nodded, stifling a laugh. "Probably sooner."

The group settled in, the conversation flowing naturally, but every now and then, you'd catch someone glancing your way—especially Ian and Arasha. They didn't say anything, but you had a feeling they suspected something, even if they weren't ready to call it out just yet.

Just then, Spencer burst into the room, a wide grin plastered on his face.

"Attention, everyone!" he called out, clapping his hands to get everyone's attention. "It's time to reveal the winners of this year's 'Smosh summer games'!"

As the cameras were set up you gathered in your teams with Anthony and Ian taking center stage. Spencer stepped forward, microphone in hand.

“Ladies and gentlemen,” Spencer began, strutting across the stage with flair, “it’s that time again! Will it be The Seamen who came in strong but then ended up being a bit salty, or will it be The Leg-Peggers who started out on the bottom but now seems to know how to really get it in?”

The crowd erupted in laughter, clearly enjoying the suggestive wordplay. “Drumroll, please!” he called, waving his arms dramatically.

The crowd buzzed with anticipation. Spencer looked into the camera with a wink. “And the champions are... Ian’s team: The Leg-Peggers."

Spencer handed Ian the trophy, shaking his hand firmly. Ian turned to the crowd, raising the trophy high above his head. “We did it, leg-peggers”

In a rush of camaraderie, everyone jumped up for a group hug. Ian, feeling particularly festive, leaned over and planted a quick kiss on Spencer's cheek.

Anthony rolled his eyes as he gave you a quiet applause. Laughter echoing as Chanse teased Angela, who starred him down and shot back, "Shut up!" with mock annoyance, her smile betraying her.

As the video stopped recording and laughter began to fade, Spencer clapped his hands together again, capturing everyone's attention. "Okay, everyone! As a special treat, I've got something to show you all. Let's take a look at the trailer for this year's Smosh Summer Games!"

With a flourish, he pulled out a laptop and hit play. The room dimmed slightly as the screen flickered to life. Bright colors and upbeat music filled the space, showcasing clips from the past week: chaotic water balloon fights, hilarious game fails, and everyone's spontaneous dance-offs. Laughter erupted as everyone watched their antics flash across the screen.

As the video concluded, a stunned silence fell over the group before it erupted into excited chatter.

Angela was the first to break the silence, her eyes wide. "Wait, are you actually together?!" she exclaimed, barely containing her excitement.

"No way! I thought they were just friends who shared a bed," Ian added in a sarcastic voice, a mischievous grin spreading across his face as he nudged Shayne.

Shayne laughed, shaking his head. "I thought that was just how everyone slept on this trip! Guess I missed the memo."

"Seriously, how did we not see this coming?" Amanda chimed in, her expression a mix of disbelief and delight.

Chanse rolled his eyes dramatically. "Damn, I knew it! The chemistry was so thick, I thought they were trying to glue themselves together. It's like watching a rom-com unfold, just without the budget for good actors!"

Trevor clapped his hands together. "Can we just appreciate how perfectly awkward this is? Can someone just keep following them around with a camera?"

Arasha crossed her arms, smirking. "What's next, a montage of their failed attempts at flirting? Because I'd definitely watch that."

Olivia chimed in, looking bewildered. "Wait, I thought Damien and Shayne were dating? This is so confusing!"

Courtney laughed, playfully poking Olivia. " Come on, keep up! Shayne's been with me for years; you'd think you'd know by now."

"Oh, sorry! I've been.. flirting with you... a lot, Court," Olivia said, grabbing Courtney's hands.

Damien chuckled, glancing at you. "We were just trying to figure all of this out..."

You smiled, shaking your head. "In a way, it really does feel like we are the last to know."

The group burst into laughter, and you felt a rush of warmth from their excitement.

"Seriously, though," Damien added, his tone softening. "I'm glad I don't have to hide my feelings anymore."

Tommy put his hand on Damien's shoulder, "Oh sweety, that was you trying to hide it?"

Finally, Spencer leaned back, his smirk growing wider. "And to think, I was the one who brought this all to light! Best friend award goes to: me, for sniffing out the romance like a bloodhound. I should get a trophy for this!"

"You're very attractive right now, you know" Amanda laughed, fanning herself with her hand.

Noah leaned over to Damien, "So I guess someone did get some MUNGE this trip after all"

You looked over at Tommy and you both spoke in unison, "OH MY GOD, munge is vagina?!?"

Shayne let out a small laugh. "Haha, munge"

As the day passed, the group found themselves in the dining room of the ship, the evening sun casting a warm golden glow over the ocean. The atmosphere had shifted now, the focus moving from the shock of everyone finding out about you and Damien to celebrating the end of the trip. The wrap party was in full swing, with drinks in hand, music filling the air, and smiles all around.

Spencer had taken the role of unofficial DJ, spinning tunes that had everyone swaying and laughing.

Courtney moved over to you and Damien “Remember when I made sure you two had a chance to bond?” she teased, catching you and Damien standing a little too close to each other.

Her eyes glimmered with playful satisfaction as she added, “Look how well that turned out!”

You and Damien shared a look, a flush of embarrassment mingling with amusement as you both laughed it off. The memory of those first nights together felt distant now, and yet the excitement still sparked between you.

“Good times,” Damien said quietly, brushing his hand against yours, sending a shiver of warmth up your arm. He looked at you with that soft, familiar smile that made you feel seen, like he was still marveling at how lucky he was to be here, with you.

"So... how long have you guys actually been a thing?" Noah asked, raising an eyebrow.

Damien exchanged a glance with you, both of you trying not to laugh. "Uh, about a day officially," he admitted.

Noah leaned back in his chair, a grin spreading across his face. "What, so since yesterday? Man, that's way shorter than I thought! I would've bet it started before we got here with the way you two were always together. Definitely since the beginning of this trip at least"

Courtney snickered, leaning against the counter. "Yesterday is just when they finally stopped pretending it was all accidental 'sharing a bed' situations."

"Hey, it was accidental at first!" you shot back, laughing. "But I guess it worked out in the end."

Chanse crossed his arms, pretending to pout. "I just want to know when the wedding is so I can plan my outfit accordingly."

Damien laughed, pulling you closer. "One thing at a time, Chanse."

Shayne grinned, pointing a finger between the two of you. "Just make sure I get to give a speech at the wedding. I've got so many stories to tell."

You groaned playfully. "I'd rather have Olivia give the speech, Shayne."

Olivia's eyes widened, "I'm thinking something with.. SPIDERS"

Shayne shook his head as the room erupted into laughter again. As you looked around at your friends, the weight of keeping your secret lifted, replaced by the overwhelming sense of belonging. You and Damien had nothing to hide anymore, and for the first time in a long while, everything felt just right.

Later, as the party wound down and everyone started to settle into quiet conversations, you and Damien found yourselves tucked away from the others. You stood together by the ship's railing, watching the sun disappear below the horizon. The air was warm, the sound of the water gently lapping against the hull creating a soothing rhythm.

"This has been... unexpected," Damien said, his voice soft, though there was an unmistakable note of affection in it. "But I’m really excited for what’s ahead. With you."

His words hung in the air, sweet and tender, as if marking the start of something new between you. You leaned against him, resting your head on his shoulder, feeling the steady rise and fall of his breath. It was peaceful, and for the first time in a while, you didn’t feel the need to rush.

“I am too,” you murmured, tilting your head to look up at him. “I don’t know what’s going to happen, but... I think it’s going to work out.”

He smiled, his eyes softening. “Yeah, I sure hope it does.” before moving closer and placing his hand on your cheek. He pulled you close, smiled and kissed you deeply.

The ship rocked gently beneath your feet, the world around you quieting as the party drifted into the background. In this moment, it didn’t feel like the end of something—it felt like the beginning. And even though the ship would dock soon, and you’d all return to the real world, there was something solid and sure about where you and Damien stood now.

As the night deepened and the last echoes of laughter faded, you held onto that feeling, knowing that whatever came next, you’d face it together.

And in the quiet of the night, with the stars reflecting off the water, you let yourself savor the moment, knowing it was the perfect way to say goodbye to this story and look forward to the next.

i got lost in the sauce and started thinking about stardew valley damibeck

either its a full stardew valley au or its a modern au and they play stardew valley co-op with each other. either way they moved to the farm together they are both the new farmers

damien goes about it like a normal stardew valley player, farming and taking care of the farm, engaging with the townspeople and working to restore the town hall, he gets up and works with the plants, and when they have livestock, he does the rounds with them as well. he focuses on farming, foraging, and dabbles in combat and mining.

linebeck hangs around and waters plants the first few days, but once he gets the fishing pole he is gone. fishing. every day. he’ll water plants and check on pet water bowls in the morning and then he’s gone either until late in the day or when he passes out. once he gets access to them, he sets several crab pots up all around town and checks on them every other day.

linebeck checks out the mine first because he got curious while checking out the lake, and then dragged damien over the next day to protect him. usually they go spelunking together, damien primarily protecting linebeck while they look for geodes and ore, but as they get used to it linebeck starts getting comfortable going in alone. or he just hangs out on the fishing floors.

damien doesn’t really use fertilizers or anything, since he doesn’t mind having more time to check on the plants (and eventually takes the agriculturalist skill), and cares the most about farm buildings and their placements; he more or less is allowed to do whatever the hell with the layout of the farm. when they buy buildings or upgrade the house, damien gathers the needed materials and linebeck raises the money needed.

on a typical day, damien spends time working on the farm before traveling around for forgeable plants and talking to and doing errands for the townspeople, while linebeck has geodes open before heading to whatever fishing spot he’s decided on for the day. damien does most of the town hall stuff, but linebeck provides all of the fish and cooked food.

linebeck does most of the cooking while damien is fine with just eating foraged plants or fresh crops. they always go to the skull cave together. damien is happy to go to every town event, and linebeck tags alone because he wants him to. damien is too impatient for fishing, and linebeck hates manual labor too much to do much farming, but some days they take breaks to help each other out with their daily activities.

in the winter, damien takes extra care of the livestock and spends a little extra time down in the mines and in town, but overall has a bit more free time, so he usually just hangs out at home. linebeck comes home much earlier in the winter because he can’t stand to be out in the cold much. they both like the rain, and on rainy days linebeck helps damien with the morning’s farm duties before fishing, and returns early. they often might take walks while it’s raining.

damien is good at a lot of the minigame festivals, and linebeck (obviously) has the most fun with festivals that include fishing.

damien is friends with each of the townspeople while linebeck really only interacts with ones he runs into at fishing spots.

they get the most farming done in the summer since it’s when linebeck is most likely to help with crops. theyre a weird duo to the rest of the town, damien is pleasant and hard working and linebeck seems a bit rude and single-minded about fishing but they hang out a fair bit and seem to like the town.

damien helps linebeck catch all of the legendary fish :)

It's My Birthday! 🎉

So I thought this would be the perfect time to do a drawing challenge that says a lot more about me! I found this one about favourite characters, which I thought would be perfect! This was honestly so much fun to do! Who doesn't like to draw their favourite characters? It also allowed me to practice. I was worried that apart from the colours, my faces were starting to look all alike, so this was a good practice to try and draw each character differently. I'm so happy with this! 🥰

Unfortunately I couldn't find who created this challenge, so if anyone knows who to give credit to please let me know!

😍Current Favourite: Twilight Link. Zelda TP has always been a favourite of mine; but recently I've been reading the Linked universe comic created by @linkeduniverse , and it's only made me love him even more! If you haven't read it please do, it's a wonderful series! Currently been reading and loving each moment. So Twilight here fits the bill!

❤️‍🩹Comfort Character: Ichigo Kurosaki. I tend to always go back to Bleach when I'm feeling a little low and need comforting, it only makes sense Ichigo is this character! I think I've drawn Ichigo the most and I've definitely read the most about Ichigo. I will always go back to Ichigo, I've literally grown up with Bleach. So Ichigo can only be my comfort go to!

🎨By Design: Loki Odinson. Honestly there where so many people who could fit this character. But if I look back , when I first watch Loki in Avengers it honestly stood out so much to me. Tom Hiddleson managed to held himself in a perfect manner that made him my favourite charter in the @marvel Universe. And so, for his incredible style and swag, Loki must be my favourite designed character.

📖By Plot: Caleb Widogast. Deciding a character simply based on plot was hard. With how many stories our there, how can you pick favourite? Then I realised, it could only be Caleb. Not only does his story have it all, angst, love, triumph; his story was also basically created as the campaign went along! Watching @criticalrole C2 was fabulous and Liam O Brien just got it right. Caleb's story is the best plot out there!

🥂Guilty Pleasure: Darkiplier. I don't like to say 'Guilty' but still Dark kind of fits this category. Considering how much little official content there is around Dark, I basically claw at any I can get! Even if Mark mentions anything about Dark, my ears perk up! @markiplier does a very good job at acting and creating such a good story. I've watched WKM, DWM, Damien, Space and any other Dark related content so many times. This must be why Dark is my Guilty Pleasure!

👑All Time Favourite: Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez. And finally, the Favourite! How can anyone not love this man? When Grimmjow was first introduced, I remember thinking that yes. This will be my favourite. He's clearly an ass, and I can see why people wouldn't like him, but not for me! It is literally mind blowing to me seeing how when we first saw him in 2005, and now in 2024 he has returned in a new animation. It's all I could ask for! (As of this moment, Grimmjow is my Icon because I love him so much.) He could be the only one who is my favourite character!
