Dagas is one of my favourite blades in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, maybe my favourite original one. His design is so cool and demonstrates the eloquence of his supposed monarch self of the past. His voice acting is really badass too and displays his magnificence.

I love the idea of him being the ruler of a past land. Whether it's a delusion of his or reality, it's interesting to think about a past nation which a blade ruled over. You can imagine it with how Dagas is as a character. Though it brings into question who his driver may have been at the time.

Regideria being a destroyed kingdom is also an interesting plot point. We know Torna was destroyed 500 years ago during the Aegis war so Dagas could've ruled over the kingdom back when he was summoned in that era. I do like the development he has across his quest despite that.

Overall, he's a cool blade who also has an interesting concept around his backstory. I always wish some of the blade quests went more into the world building of the game rather than just the blade itself. This is a big reason Dagas' quest is so interesting to me personally.

Daga con puño esmaltado, Irán, siglo XVIII. Antigüedades, Armas y Armaduras Runjeet Singh

La empuñadura y la forma general de esta daga son típicas, pero la calidad del esmaltado es excepcional. Flores en flor adornan el anverso y el reverso de la empuñadura en tonos azul zafiro y magenta sobre fondo blanco leche, con sus enredaderas y tallos generosamente recubiertos de oro. Los laterales repiten motivos florales similares, aunque el fondo es de color turquesa intenso. La hoja se curva muy suavemente y se estrecha justo hacia la punta, con un reborde medial cortado en la mayor parte de su longitud. La daga va acompañada de una vaina moderna de cuero labrado al estilo tradicional persa, con un remate de cuerno. El esmalte está ligeramente retocado, sobre todo en el pomo (la piedra del pomo también es una sustitución posterior). Este tipo de hilt con decoración esmaltada se encuentra en numerosos países de Oriente Próximo y Oriente Medio, como Turquía, Persia y Siria. En el Museo Metropolitano de Arte (n.º de registro 32.75.263a, b) se conserva un ejemplar con colores similares y una estructura decorativa idéntica,[1] y recientemente se ha vendido en Sotheby's otra daga con una decoración parecida a la de nuestro ejemplar.
