Writing. Dafuque?!?

How. Just how is it possible to write out this amazing sentence one day and you are so so proud but you go back the next day and you just are like what was I thinking you don't belong!

Then after like 3 days of editing and restructuring you end up with the exact same damn sentence you started with and now it looks just fucking fine!!!!

I've got two whole pieces of dialog that I just shelved because I know it belongs somewhere but not anywhere that I've got wrote yet.

Also I've got a whole half a chapter I don't even remember writing again. This is the second time I've done that. Starting to think instead of sleep walking, I'm sleep writing and apparently subconscious sleep writer me is better at it then awake me.

And then there are those little harmless Plot Bunnies.

Meds, Day 6:

I don’t care what anyone says, meds are amazing. I, an ADHD adult who was diagnosed at 6 have never ever been on meds for it until now. 

In 1 week of a low dose I have learned: 

Your brain is supposed to make the chemical that gives you satisfaction, not just when tasks are done, but also while you’re doing them. Dafuque?

Needing to entertain your brain with 2 other things while doing the 1 boring thing isn’t normal. See above on gaining satisfaction points while doing the thing™.

Brains aren’t supposed to lose entire days of time wondering what you actually did that day. 

Completing tasks gradually in chunks instead of in a last minute panic about consequences is a far better way to exist. And... you get to have the satisfaction of working on things, as said above.

We’re only on day 6 and I’m not even on the right dose yet. O_O Anyone who says that medication “dulls your clairsenses and connection to the universe” can keep their dark ages nonsense to themselves. I’ve felt more connected and self-aware than I have in years.

When you watch a recently built building that supposedly has a modern fire suppression system burn to the ground you have to remember they ain’t gonna teach ya the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire and Radium Girls in history class. Google those, I’ll wait. 

That totally not Amazon logistics warehouse that burned down yesterday, which is conveniently right next to the actual Amazon warehouse when this whole area has nothing but warehouses and they could have landed anywhere...  

Landed is the appropriate word for those things. Around here you think wasn’t that a golf course because that’s where the people from the terrorist shooting across the street evacuated to. Nope, a warehouse landed. 

Now I remember, that space used to be a farm field. Then we learned the water park wasn’t treating it’s water to standards. When was the last time that thing was open? Just sell it to Amazon already. Is the crazy golf course still attached to it? We don’t take the freeway around there anyway. 

Not like Amazon will fix the streets around there. The pot holes around the tracks outside the Oops warehouse keep the street racers at bay. If they’re going to do it anyway why not that stretch from the cult school and the Oops? No one lives there so when they crash it won’t bother anything. 

Don’t know how I feel about that pastel I did of Martin Gore. There are some parts I’m happy how they turned out and others where I’m going dafuque, I traced this. 

In that instance I try and let the piece of art just sit and exist for awhile.

If the light is good I might do another pastel thing. Was too dark and strom cloddy yesterday. 

New itty bitty kitties were born. Busy work was done. Ideas were thought.

Might have figured a way to de police the story that started off as a loosely based on 21 Jumpstreet idea many many years ago. Got to put it thru the character driven fan fiction filter. There was more going on with Protagonist deep undercover somewhere recovering from an injury than what little I know about cop shop shit anyway. 

Got to remember to see if I can edit Siegfried and Leroy from Wayne Brady’s sketch show. JP Manoux plays a tiger who gets spanked. He was the voice of TV show Kuzco if you’re trying to place him.
