I have a DP au idea that gives Danny an honorary uncle.

During his mid teen just as summer break ended, Jack Fenton got a job as a employee in a general store (built in front of a haunted graveyard) with another teen (let's call him Dave Wilson) to earn money for college(Jack don't know where to go), while I don't know if Jack knows ghost exists at the time or not, Dave is a normal teen in this job to earn enough money to buy a cool car. While they are on their first night weekend shift, spooky things happen to both teenagers as things are floating and thrown at them and after getting away and becoming very sure that floating thing is real, decide to find a reason for that as they want to keep their job ( also Jack wants to study about that experience and learn about ghosts) learn how to sense ghost (Jack made a ghost radio with a compass taped to it, and Dave just got thing like salt chalk to draw circle to trap ghost (and it is easy to clean) and learn some minor magic to 'talk' with ghost about why they haunting the stores, and after everything been taken care of (turn out the graveyard having trouble with a demon, so Jack and Dave destroys the demon with a ectoblaster prototype and putting a cross (while reciting the bible in Latin (this event take place near summer break)) in the chest) Jack trusted Dave enough to consider him as his brother even while mile away in college with his friends ( Maddie and Vlad).

Jack didn't see Dave again until he noticed Dave in a grave yard in Amity Park as a groundskeeper. Jack are very excited to get his family to meet Dave so much that he introduced Dave as his honorary brother and uncle to his kids.

Dave is having a chill life in Amity Park until ghosts appeared a lot and having his life becoming weirder then usual like learning that his honorary nephew is a half ghost and the cause of the ghost portal opening ( Dave while understanding that Jack wants to know about ghosts, don't understand why build a ghost portal), and having to fight a ghost who look like a vampire for the honor to be Danny uncle.

He always carries a shovel as an emergency hitting weapon, some cross and bible, salt, iron, salt chalk (easy to clean), and a magic necklace that make him immune to possession.

The minor magic he knows is enchanting a weapon ( for example a shovel) to hit a ghost even while intangible, and making a drink taste better.

To help the drawer to imagine him he has a full beard and wears a groundskeeper suit even while meeting people with a cap. He is also below average height and thin to contrast Jack being huge and big.

There were reports of paranormal activity once again in Gotham, and it was getting more annoying than usual. Thankfully, the approval for establishing a franchise in Gotham had gone well, and it was usually went off after something had gone wrong. It did.

Just not in the way the Ghostbusters expected it to go, but as a citizen of Gotham, you could’ve seen this coming a mile away.

Daniel “Danny” Fenton (Phantom) decided to transfer over to Gotham, after Phantom had been unexpectedly banned by superficial “moralistic” people who were full on crazy. Once he transferred, he, along with his friends, transferred to Gotham, hearing that it had a lot of paranormal activity in the area. They were warned that the “average” criminal element was usually handled by either the Gotham City Police Dept., or by the elusive “Bat-Man”.

Only two days into working as a Ghostbuster in Gotham, and their first fight with the cult, dubbed the “League of Shadows”, and they believed that Ra's al Ghul is somehow immortal. While it sounds far-fetched and insane, it’s later revealed that the science behind it is pretty sound. The nasty side-effects as they find out, outweigh the help to restore vitality like it does to Ra’s. So when they summoned up ghosts, they handled it pretty well. That was when the Bat Family decided to drop in.

Batman (Bruce Wayne) at the time, thought that the Ghostbusters were a bunch of con artists, mainly due to the fact that he did do deep digging into the product that was Ghostbusters. That changed the night the League of Shadows tried to summon a deity. It didn’t go so well, and instead an army of ghosts were causing a ruckus, thus causing the Ghostbusters to arrive on the scene. They tried talking the LoS down, and when that didn’t happen and they stuck their ghost on them, the GBs handled it like pros, capturing the spirits and trapping them easily, including a few experimental products that they decided to field test right then and there (the tripod dual trap worked like as easy as a store bought pie). It surprised Batman that these Ghostbusters were legit and not some kind of hoax.

Meanwhile, the Bat Family was trying to figure out the four new Ghostbusters while handling Ra’s al Ghul’s plan.

Honestly the implication of Dib (and by extension Invader Zim) existing adds a whole extra layer of chaos.

Like Dib and Wes are the viewers spouting the most unhinged "theories" that Soup is actually a ghost or some other type of monster, but everyone brushes them off as being part of the bit.

I'm now just imagining an Invader Zim sub-plot with Dib being so focused on Danny that Zim is off doing Irken Invader stuff with plans that end up either getting on the Justice League's or the Guys in White's radar and the shenanigans in the background. (Maybe Zim, to tie him into the main prompt, is making his own Tiktok channel and believes becoming the top Streamer on the platform will let him conquer the planet.

So Zim is trying to do basically whatever the existing top steamer is doing by "cleverly mimicking their actions to ensure dominance of this Tik of Toks will belong to ZIM!" (So he's become a Diet Tucker which, given the Irken's own intelligence, is kinda fitting for Zim to run a tech streaming channel)

Meanwhile Zim only becomes the second best on the platform because his own viewers go crazy for GIR who, like Danny/Soup, is basically doing random shit in the background in his dog suit with Zim more focused on maintaining an illusion of normalcy (his constant screaming that he's normal make people think this is part of a bit)

Maybe it peaks where Zim and Tucker do a colab talking technology with Zim is trying his best to act normal, but Tucker's perception of normal has become so warped that he doesn't notice anything off at all even as Zim does the most unhinged stuff.

The Viewers

Danny and Tucker move in together for college in Gotham

He didn't realize that his viewers could see Danny in the background in some clips.

Danny being Danny was never caught doing something normal instead it was always something weird.

Just an Idea

Demon Twins AU

- Maddie was trained by the League of Assassins and was sent back to America to pursue her theory that Lazarus water was ectoplasmic residue. She joined the only paranormal studies course in the country and met likeminded scientists Jack Fenton and Vlad Masters.

- Maddie fell in love with Jack and they pursued their research together, attempting to break into the “ghost zone”, the hypothetical in-between where the energy of death collected in order to collect pure ectoplasm samples. (And possibly capture a ghost for study.)

- They Sort-Of succeeded (sorry Vlad but science marches on) and Maddie proved ectoplasm and Lazarus water were related. LoA allowed her to stay and continue her research, providing her with funding so long as she sent reports. Occasionally she had to do a mission since she was in the area, but it was usually simple and low stakes.

- Then, when Jazz is 2 years old, Maddie is called back to the League to witness the birth of the Demon’s Heirs. The babies were grown in LW using her data so she basically has to become a physician for the babies.

- The younger twin’s heart stopped when he was pulled out of the water. She rushed to save him, using pure ectoplasm from her research and it worked. Even though Danyal is deemed the inferior twin, he’s kept alive and trained to act as a benchmark/motivation for the true heir Damian.

- Maddie falls in love with the little boy whose health she’s in charge of. Talia notes that this researcher cares for her child as if it was her own.

- When Ra’s decides to have Danny and Damian duel as a sort of initiation and trial to prove his worth as the heir (something that leaves psychological scars on both Danny and Damian, thanks Ra’s.), Damian kills Danny and Maddie is devastated over the body.

- Talia grabs her and the body and sneaks them into the Lazarus pits to bring her child back. Then she hands Danny to Maddie and tells her to raise him as her own, protect him as her own, and she will erase Maddie’s debt to the league.

- Maddie runs with her new son back to America and tells her family that the job she had is completed and “hey Jack sorry I forgot to mention our son I was so caught up in my work! Yeah, whenever I visited five years ago I got pregnant and forgot to mention it! Whoopsie daisy!”

- Jack believes this because he’s forgetful sometimes and also why would his lovely, beautiful, brilliant wife lie to him. He welcomes five year old Danny into his life as his son despite him only superficially looking like him and for some reason having much darker skin. Who knows, genetics isn’t his area of expertise!

- Besides even if Maddie lied to him she probably had a good reason! He’s always wanted a son anyway!!

- Jazz is far more suspicious of this but she’s all of seven and also this poor kid looks terrified and traumatized so. She’ll let it go. And also help him settle in, as is right for a Big Sister.

- Danny has psychological and physical scars but grows up loved and cared for. He misses his brother, but he wasn’t worthy to stand beside him—grandfather said so and it must be so. He didn’t want to be a weight on his brother’s neck, dragging him down

- He makes friends with Tucker and then Sam who don’t judge him for strange mannerisms and who like him for who he is.

- Maybe it’s not the life he would have chosen for himself, but it is a good life. He decides he can be happy here in Amity Park, secure in the knowledge that his brother was off conquering and thriving.

- Then Maddie and Jack finish the Portal, which would theoretically allow travel into the Ghost Zone to continue their work. The pinhole fractures they can now reliably create to power weapons and technology prove the theory and this is the next step!

- Danny Dies In The Portal and a hole is ripped open between worlds. DP series takes place as normal!

- Mixed Reveal since Maddie and Jack are researchers first and foremost. They don’t want to hurt their children but they want to study! They capture a different ghost so they can learn more about how the anatomy works, because they need to take care of their half-ghost son.

- Danny is appalled and horrified to find them dissecting some struggling specter. They are so fucking earnest about it, trying to tell him that they want to make sure they understand how he’s put together so if he gets hurt they can help and it’s not like they can Kill ghosts so it’s only a temporary necessity in pursuit of knowledge!!

- Danny releases the ghost and later, steals their research and destroys the portal. He flees. He knows they won’t hurt him but he thought they wouldn’t Do That either and they did so he’s terrified.

- Danny’s friends help him escape and set up a fake id and passport. His plan is to get to Gotham and find the Bat who will hopefully be able to Adult this situation. He’s not expecting to be welcomed as his son; by all accounts the Batman has no idea Talia even made children with his DNA so he isn’t even going to mention being his son.

- Meanwhile Damian has been Robin for four years and slowly adjusting to his new normal. He doesn’t think about his dead brother; he isn’t allowed to, and though he’s left the league, the league has not left him entirely.

- He is patrolling with his father when an unknown teenager flags them down. Batman is suspicious of course but the kid seems to be earnestly calling for help. He has Robin hang back out of caution and approaches the unknown himself.

- Holy Fuck He Looks Like Damian

- He doesn’t act like a clone or anything. He has an impressively obvious midwestern accent and uses slang like a typical teen. He tells him, a little hysterically, about his parents being scientists and the fucking portal to hell they opened in their basement, about finding them experimenting on an inter-dimensional being that may or may not be an actual human spirit, and briefly details taking his sisters car across four states in a manic road trip to find the Batman.

- Batman is like, why me? There are closer heroes. Why not call the justice league hotline?

- “Hoo boy Mr. Batman see the thing is Amity Park is Dangerous and full of ghosts so I didn’t want metas showing up where they’d get overshadowed and I’d have to? Like? Fight a possessed Superman or something.”

- Why would you be the one fighting??

- Danny is impressively bad at keeping his mouth shut about secrets but to be fair, he’s meeting his father for the first time and the Batman is super cool and intimidating and also he’s remembering his mom and his brother and that’s reminding him of his new family and how everything has probably irreparably fallen apart and oh no

- Oh no he’s crying in front of Batman. Oh fuck, he’s sobbing in front of his father and this is his first impression. Oh ancients he’s never gonna want anything to do with Danny after this mess and it’s not like he was going to say anything but apparently there was this small hope at the bottom of his heart that he’d be welcomed and loved. That somehow his Father would just know this was his son and hug him and make everything better.

- Batman is awkwardly trying to decide if he wants to risk hugging a dangerous unknown, unstable possible-meta-adjacent teenager while he’s having a breakdown on a rooftop when Robin lands next to him and says something that freezes the blood in Bruce’s veins:

- “Brother?”

anyway dc x dp is my new fixation hell and i've had so many ideas for aus but one that's really sticking with me is a classic "danny has to run away to gotham because his home is no longer safe" au where danny is explicitly looking for other ghosts or at the very least is pulled to gotham because there are so many of them there.

he flies around for a while and finds this manor and he can sense so many nice ghosts! so he just. goes there! and stays! and this can be human danny showing up at their door injured or it can be ghost danny just flying in but regardless, the waynes would never turn him away. bruce would get suspicious absolutely, but he's seen enough traumatized abused kids to know the signs. thomas and martha? they think this new ghost kid is adorable!!

there could be angst sure but idk i love the idea of danny getting hurt by his parents or the giw and being so wary of more humans, and this place full of friendly ghosts would be so enticing. ghosts that don't try to immediately wreck his shit? ghosts that get territorial but are also extremely welcoming and have a habit of letting new kids into their haunt? the batfam who've dealt with the paranormal before and wouldn't give a shit? that's a normal tuesday for them babes. like please, danny just found heaven and it's in gotham.

despite all the "batfam adopts danny" aus i've seen, i rarely see people mention the ghosts of dead family members who would absolutely still be there and would definitely want to help danny :(

Okay I noticed the only time I get like and reblog if I post Danny Phantom idea. I have a DP post canon au about Tucker.

Post canon (not phantom planet canon here) for some reason that Tucker Foley had to move to another town with a highschool that has a weird rule that every student had to go to a club to get them among other with same interests. Tucker finds most of the clubs is boring compared to Casper high but he finds a club about investigation for things, sure he finds it boring but it is the better option as all clubs about gaming and computers are full. As it turns out the investigation club is as disguised as the true name of the club called supernatural and paranormal investigation services (or SAPIS) and while SAPIS at first don't know what to do with Tucker, they let him join for his technological skill and his unusual experience with ghosts.

SAPIS is a 6 ( now 7 with Tucker as the tech guy) people group that study supernatural stuff as one of them goes out to personality investigate and hunt supernatural (after giving himself a lot of advantage beforehand) and the other stay back to study the item ( slowly) the hunter find.

After a few months Tucker is feeling fine as he talk about his experience with SAPIS to his friends in Amity Park when the hunter carried a strange suitcase that he got after defeating a cult, the suitcase can turn into different kinds of weapon and SAPIS learn that it is called Pandora box ( it is from DMC 4 if you are wondering) and when Tucker hear about the name he's confused that he saw Pandora box and it is different then the suitcase. I want to know what Tucker will do about it.

Our Equipment and Recommendations

At Deamons and Ghosts Inc, we use several pieces of standardized ghost hunting equipment. Let's take a look at our main pieces below:

Spirit Box

Our spirit box is a more sophisticated version of a radio that connects to a blue tooth speaker. We only use this when Alexei isn't present because it can conflict with his psychic abilities. If you want to create one at home, you can do a little DIY on a standard radio by disabling the part that stops between station or you can get a cheap one on Amazon to get started! We have found that this is the best way to communicate with spirits when our medium isn't around.

Make sure you always record everything when using a spirit box. Video and audio are important, you never know if you'll catch a flicker of a spirit in the background right when they say something.

Cameras

At every haunt we investigate, we set up stationary cameras in every room that are constantly recording, as well as motion activated cameras that take photos and videos every time something moves across our light fields. Any high quality recording device will work for the stationary cameras. We personally use go pros for continuous recording and streaming directly back to our home computers.

For our motion activated cameras, we use doorbell cameras for smaller rooms and motion sensor security cameras in bigger rooms. We use Halloween and Christmas light projectors for the light fields.

Most of these can be bought cheaply and easily online or second hand, just make sure that you test them before bringing them to a haunt! We learned that the hard way when a ghost walked through our light field in front of us, and not a single one of our cameras was actually recording! That's lost evidence and a lot of people not believing you afterwards.

EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) Recorder

One of the most important things to have in your kit is an EVP recorder. These machines are crazy, they can catch sounds and noises that you didn't hear while you were on location. We recommend listening to all recordings from these devices multiple times and running them through an audio processor such as Audacity to view the noise waves and potentially locate any changes or especially different sounds.

We started with one, but saved up overtime to get about 4, so we can keep them in the most haunted rooms even when we aren't around. We love our EVP Recorders from Olympus, but there are several options. You'll just have to look into what works best for you!

EMF or Gaussmeters

EMF or Electromagnetic Field Readers are used to detect the subtle changes in the air around us and potentially reveal a spirit. Gaussmeters are more sensitive versions of the same device. Personally, we only use EMFs in our investigations, as ours have always worked perfectly fine. We use one from Amazon, but you can typically get one from a hardware store as well, as many people are concerned about the electromagnetic waves in their houses. Even a cheap one can act fairly accurately, it's just important to research and check reviews online. We use the one from Erickhill on Amazon.

And of course, you will always need a good video editing program and audio editing program. There are tons of free programs available for both, so choose one within your budget!

As always, be careful while ghost hunting, don't trespass, and if you think it might be a daemon, tread carefully! Daemons are much more dangerous than ghosts!

Harley was just wandering through one of the areas of gotham where cults tend to hold meetings when she ran into a clearly lost teen girl.

The girl had dark skin, darker hair, and was wearing a yellow and orange outfit with a purple backpack.

It wasn't all that strange to see her in this area given that there happened to be some hotels a few blocks away, but those people normally were better at hiding what they were feeling and doing.

She decided to find out if the girl wanted help. "Hey, kid! You lost?"

The girl looked startled and asked in a suspicious tone, "Why do you want to know?"

"You just don't look like you're from around here, is all," Harley replied, keeping her body language open and non threatening as possible.

The girl was about to answer when a large bright red and black dog jumped through a window and charged at the girl. It seems like she had pretty good reflexes because she shot it with a gun she'd pulled from seemingly nowhere. The dog immediately backed off and ran away.

From the building the dog had come from, Harley could hear someone yell, "Good job, Mark! This is why we don't summon hellhounds without preparation!"

Armed with a royal charter and with a host of enthusiastic Quaker colonists, Penn’s ambition was to create something of a utopian society, as evidenced by the conserved plans for Philadelphia, a town that was to be clean and spacious, ensuring the health of its inhabitants. William Penn was a Quaker, and most Quakers had firsthand experience of discrimination and persecution, none of which would ever be a problem in the fair colony of Pennsylvania. The Quakers also believed in equality. One of the reasons they were often thrown in jail was because they refused to address anyone with anything but “thou”. When faced with someone higher up the societal scale, one should use “you” – a bit like in French, where “tu” indicates familiarity and equality, “vous” respect. The Quakers insisted on “thou”, no matter if talking to their neighbour or the king. (Not that all that many Quakers ever spoke to the king, but still) As a religious movement that believed in everyone’s equal value no matter gender, Quakers had—at least in theory—a problem with slavery. However, upon finally reaching their new colony, it soon became apparent that unless they found labour—preferably cheap labour—colonising all this new land would be almost impossible. There was an established solution to the labour shortage problem, namely the practise of indentureship. This had been around for centuries. In essence, it was a contract whereby one person voluntarily entered the service of another person for a stipulated period of time. In general, any payments for the service were paid out in arrears, which meant an indentured servant who absconded could not claim on his back pay. By the late 17th century, indentured servants had been around for almost a century in the New World. Initially, many came voluntarily, pledging themselves to work for seven years or so in return for getting a grant of land after their term of service was up. Thing was, the demand for new indentures exceeded the supply, which was how people were sent over without their consent, deported as it were. An efficient way of ridding the homeland of unwanted elements while also ensuring cheap labour for the colonists. Whether forced or voluntary, the life of an indentured servant was no walk in the park. For a woman, there was the constant risk of being raped – these were societies with a chronic shortage of women – and should she become pregnant her term of service would be extended. The men ended up in the fields, disposable beasts of burden who were often worked until they dropped. A disobedient (or “wilful”) servant was punished – in some cases so severely as to permanently maim the servant.  Trying to run away was a serious offence that could lead to beating so brutal the person in question died, and on top of this the reluctant immigrants had to cope with food shortages and unknown ailments. On average, four out of ten indentured servants died before their terms of service was up. I have written at length about the plight of indentured servants in Like Chaff in the Wind, where my protagonist, Matthew Graham, effectively ends up as a mistreated beast of burden. Times of Turmoil, however, is set more than fifty years later than Like Chaff in the Wind. Slavery had to a large extent replaced indentureship as the backbone of the economy in colonies like Maryland and Virginia, but in Pennsylvania indentureship still prevailed, albeit that some Quakers were beginning to reassess their take on slavery. Penn himself came to advocate slavery, saying that if you bought a slave you had a servant for life, which was a good thing. Hmm . . . In Times of Turmoil, I have two indentured servants who play significant parts. One is Hans, the silent and enigmatic German indenture who is treated almost as family by Duncan and Erin Melville. Hans has lost everything he ever had back home and is determined to build a new life far from his past. He is also very anti-violence, having been a reluctant witness to the ravages of war. Duncan came home to upheaval. Tim was sporting bruises and welts, there was a dead man wrapped in sacking in one of his sheds, and his wife . . . He suppressed the rage that lived inside of him, a snarling thing that growled and snapped whenever he caught sight of Erin’s swollen and bruised face. She looked as if she’d not slept a wink since the incident, and Mrs Andersson hovered round her like a worried mother hen. Only Hans seemed his normal, unruffled self, explaining tersely what had happened. “Caleb will say you shot his father,” Duncan said with a sigh. Hans actually smiled. “Ja. But with this, I shoot no one.” He handed over his pistol, and Duncan almost laughed. The flint was missing. “Giles and Sivert will testify. Keine flint, ja? Never.” “Then why carry it?” Duncan asked. “People see what they want to see. A man pointing a pistol is an armed man.” Hans shrugged. “I have enough of killing.” The other indentured servant is Tim. Some of the most vulnerable indentured servants were the children. Because they were so young—and therefore rather useless to begin with—they could be indentured for up to twenty years so as to recoup on the cost of transportation and bed and board.  Tim is twelve when my Erin intercedes to save him from yet another brutal beating. Years of mistreatment have rendered him almost mute, and he flinches at any touch, having been conditioned to expect only pain. Sadly, in real life there were many Tims, lost boys and girls who had no one in their corner. No one. Tim, therefore, is lucky. Because once Erin had saved him, she had no intention of ever letting anyone hurt him again.
