Ok, but from Braius' perspective: 2 days ago he told Dorian he wanted to fuck Orym. Dorian yesterday helped Braius with his painting of Orym that he had said was going to be used to woo him. And then when he finally goes to give it to Orym, he gets there to see Orym and Dorian already making out.

Every day Braius Doomseed wakes up.

can we talk about dorian though???? can we talk about how he left home, running away from his birthright and responsibility and his name, and wandered, not having a home for so long??? but it's okay because he has his brother, but no he loses what's left of his family but now!!!!! now it's possible!!! a home is a daydream but also a halfling with a gentle strong heart that he can touch and kiss!!!! and he sees an example of the life he wants in the wizards... he can have a home and a family of his very own!!!! he can have it all, it's all within reach!!!

I have to say Iron Bull (so emotional! and he mentions Dorian too) and Josephine (marriage proposal??), followed by Dorian (very sweet) and Sera (bonkers), are my absolute favorite. Cullen is quite sweet too (with him unable to fully express himself as he would want).

To be fair, by the time we get to the events of end game, the Inquisitor is TIRED™!

In my world state, she has held the South together for too long, all by herself as most of her inner circle have left to live their own lives; the few who still are in touch with her are Varric and Dorian. And she's lost Varric.

And Dorian was the one who saw her break after Solas leaves. So, yes... He'll understand. Heck, he'll be cheering for her, for having finally gotten her happy ending... For once she isn't putting the world ahead of herself!

I need Dorian's reaction to the solavellan ending. I can't stop thinking about it.

Before the final battle he asks Lavellan if she'll be leaving again after this and if I recall correctly she says, "Something like that."

She knows. If there is a way to end this with Solas safe and hers, she will go with him. Lavellan likely put all of her affairs in order before departing Skyhold for the last time. Probably walked those now too empty halls and thought about seeing him again.

And Dorian probably knew, too. He knows her. He's her best friend. Possibly her only friend.

After, once Rook explains what happened, I imagine he holds the sending crystal in his hand and quietly says his friend's name, hoping against all reason and known rules of the Fade that he'll hear a response.
