It starts in the attic, you had joined him for an afternoon nap after classes had ended. Sometime later you wake to the sound of soft breathing right against your neck. Feeling a little hungry, you head down to the kitchen for a snack.

Not wanting to make the trip all the way back up, you settle down on the couch to eat. You turn on the television to fill the silence. You get down to the last couple bites of your snack when you hear the soft sound of feet padding across the room.

You turn to see Belphie, blanket draped over his shoulders and dragging on the floor, as her settles on the couch next to you. He speaks before you can ask him what’s going on.

“Why didn’t you tell me we were moving?” His voice comes out drowsily. He reaches over for the remote and turns the volume down on the TV. Confused, you take a second before answering him.

“My bad? I didn’t think you would notice.” He yawns as he scoots closer to you, trapping you between him and the armrest and leans on your shoulder.

“It’s okay, just let me know where we’re going next time.” His eyes are already closed by the last couple of words, fast asleep when he finishes speaking.

(You whisper that you’re heading to bed a little while later, thinking nothing of at as he doesn’t as so much twitch. He asks why you look surprised when you return from doing your night routine in the bathroom to him laid up in your bed waiting for you)

Im thinking animal shelter owned by baze and chirrut with jyn as the vet and bodhi her trainee. One day they find a lost cat who seems to have a hatred for either vets or just jyn. It turns out he belongs to private practice veterinarian cassian and this is how he learns about rogue shelters. He begins to spend more time there and each visit lends him more reasons to stay than just one. kay doesn’t find it so bad either.

They all become a family and nobody dies the end <3

Day After Tomorrow Batfam AU

Plot wise you could go with the movie and have Bruce travel across a storm to get to his kids in New York, whether or not this is a cape or no cape au doesn’t matter just imagine the angst of Bruce not knowing if he’s traveling through the worst storm ever for just the briefest of chances that his kids are still alive meanwhile the Robins are trying to stay alive because dad said he was coming for them and he *promised* and maybe one of them gets injured while helping someone and they have to travel out to get medicine because he has a fever and he’s not getting better and goddamn it Dick why did you do that I’m not ready to be the big brother yet— and just Bruce and some of the JL members walking towards New York for their kids and just finding so many half buried people and knowing there was nothing they could have done because it happened so fast and yet they still feel the guilt and all they can do is keep going.

Alternatively what if they’re in Gotham when it happens and it just becomes a run against time for Bruce to collect his kids and get them all to the manor because it’s too late to get everyone out of the north and he needs to track everyone and Dick needs to get from Bludhaven and he needs Babs to track down Jason from wherever he’s helping street kids get to shelter and he needs them safe because he knows people will die no matter what they do and the least he can do is make sure the people he cares about are piled under the same roof where he can make sure they can survive
