The clouds tasted a touch of sweetness, and a playful and lively color lit up the Rainbow Bridge.

The starlight is misty and blurred, and the blossoming sweetness ripples at the end of the rainbow,

Above the lights in the world, the girl is spinning and dancing, and the stars will never fade away.

The starlight reappeared brightly, Dodora sweetly hid in the stars and looked at the earth,

Like clusters of small bright lights, guarding and illuminating everyone with dreams.

I finally read the starstream whatever event and I am not fucking okay right now? Literally fucking crying over this stupid game, I am going to miss those two so fucking much?????

I saw the version where he says "you finally understand" and someone pointed out that was likely what he wanted all along, and it made me feel a bit immature for my reaction but then I reread it and realized he was fucking SURPRISED and I immediately started freaking out again because in his last moments we threw him off guard one last time and I feel kinda accomplished because hell yeah take that you asshole but it also made me realize that him saying "you finally understand" could be about wanting freedom but it also could be about his belief that you need to let the "bad" die and/or that it was hopeless to try to be on the same side with him and I know that's kind of an immature way of thinking and I don't at all disagree with the people who see it as a freedom thing and you're probably right anyways but at least I feel validated that maybe that wasn't entirely just an immature way of thinking due to the fact he's surprised because it could mean that us staying put was what he thought should happen the same way he thinks humans should be wiped out and that there was no way the old god could be defeated and then there's the comparison of him trying to both save the god of styling while also letting the old gods win cuz now despite having beaten him we still are trying to save him and he's reminded that the person who he seems to see in such a black and white way can actually be just as greedy and stuck in the past as him and I know I'm putting way too much thought into this and thinking about it way to seriously but I need to get my emotions out right now because holy shit what the fuck man I'm not okay at all and not to mention everything with dodora too I am losing my shit right now

"you finally understand" no I'm going to be immature and refuse because we never seen to have understood his beliefs and that sure as hell isn't happening now and I know it's really childish but after everything he's done I think we're allowed to be selfish too I mean come on he tried to get us to join him at EVERY FUCKING OPPORTUNITY so I don't feel bad about making the player character like me and not letting go

Story - summarized

Dodora used to be a performer for Mercury Era, but she recently dropped the contract, stirring rumors about her talent and background. Her agent - also her most dedicated fan - sticks by her side through the ordeal.

In response, Dodora sets up her own studio so she can continue performing and singing. She makes sure to keep the focus on her and not on her family or her "mysterious" origins.

The agent is nervous during the big press conference that will officially mark Dodora's return, as everyone is expecting Dodora to change. She stuns them all by sticking to a simple, yet sweet design. She had broken from Mercury Era to stay true to herself, and she'll keep doing that!

Connections

-Mercury Era is the modern version of Flying Star Entertainment. You can learn more about his investment and eventual purchase of the company in his Reflection for Glittering Era.

-The reason Dodora wants to keep her family and past a secret is because she is an Envoy, arriving here after the death of the God of Styling (see Leonid's Reflection for Prophecy for more). She had lost her memories at first, was taken in by a kind family, and now she's a powerful influencer who doesn't age like normal humans.

Fun Facts

-This Reflection may be short, but it's a perfect example of the Unreliable Narrator storytelling device. The agent is such a huge fan that they can't see Dodora's faults. And at first glance, Dodora seems like a spoiled diva - until you learn she's an Envoy and trying to keep it a secret.

-Each Envoy is connected to one (or more, in Caprico's case) country in Miraland, and Dodora is tied to Ninir. All her suits (except for the December Troupe suit) are Indexed under Ninir.
