🌙💭 Design Concept 💭🌙
The whispers before bedtime brushed past my ears like feathers, as if I was flying in my dream, lightly passing through the clouds.
Even professional spirit girls feel a little panic about soul swapping.
Don't be afraid, everything is guided by the gods.
Following the Milky Way to the end of the night, Tess pushed open the star door at the end.

My Opinions:
They could be sprinkling all these Single SSRs all over the place and totally catch us up on reruns. In fact it would make way more sense as it would force new players or people who didn't finish into a bind of spending or skipping. I just literally don't understand from a business standpoint why they'd just NOT rerun them. This ain't even a 2 reruns waiting for the special return pavilion situation. They haven't even gotten that far. Anyway it's frustrating me because I'm missing pieces from 5/8 of the singles from that year and I want to finish them 🙃 I'm so close on most of them.
Source: atsukii's GitHub (won't let me link in post I will drop link in replies)
EDIT: Removed Reminiscence of Flower and replaced with Devil's Whisper. Apologies, my source was not up to date. (And I sorted by pavilion and I guess devils whisper didn't count as pavilion since it was tiered rewards).

First Thoughts on the Fragile Threads of Power
Spoilers under the cut.
Given there are another two books to come, I didn't expect the ending to be as emotionally satisfying as it was. Kell being healed, Alucard letting go of his past, Rhy and Ren safe (for now), Tes happy and safe, Lila sailing away on her ship ... we even got a bit of Ned Tuttle!
But I'm also keen for the next books. Holland and Kosika in Black London is not going to go anywhere good for the other main characters. When she gives up on the red coin for Black London my heart sank. And the priestess I saw coming, but not Holland at the end. I probably love him too much and I forgot what he wants. Which is what he has always wanted.
Other random thoughts:
I liked the Queen when we first saw her, and by the end … I still liked her.  She’s an interesting character and her motivations make sense.  But Lila was spot on by not trusting her.  The scene between them at the end was Very Satisfying.  Take the warning, Nadiya, you dumbass!  But I’m sure she won’t, and I can’t wait.
I didn’t see Kell turning down the chance of Tess healing him coming, and I should have. Of course he wouldn’t put Rhy at risk.  There wasn’t enough Maresh brothers in the book, but then there could never be.
Maris almost saying that if she could help Kell she would do it for free was wonderful.  She took three years of his life, but at the same time she seems to have very complicated feelings re him.  Her comment at the end to Tess that she’s never kept anyone on the ship against their will initially had me side-eying her, since she basically sold Kell into slavery as a child.  But then I wondered if that’s where her wish she could help him came from.
Lila’s thoughts about having to disguise Kell when he is being all obviously a prince were hilarious.
Alucard and Kell are still Not Getting Along.  I hope that in the next two books we get them forced to go on a huge long trip together on a very small boat.  Or trapped in Black London together.  Or handcuffed to each other for six or seven days.
Tess was great.  I hope she comes back.  The stuff with her sister hints at unfinished business.
Kosika … oh poor kid.  She seemed to be doing mostly OK for a lot of the book, but then the end … that poor, poor kid.  She never had a chance.
Finally, Holland is scary again.  I love it.

Yisu: Cinnabar
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Designer's Reflection: Cinnabar
Obtained: Vol. 2 Ch. 8 workshop
Rarity: SR
Attribute: Blue/Cool
Awakened Suit: Mighty Wilderness
Story - transcripts from Designer's Reflection
Chapter 1 - Traveler in the Winds
Chapter 2 - Prophecy of Divine Descent
Chapter 3 - Hawk Hunter
Story - summarized
All Yisu can remember before waking up in Miraland is living with her friends on an islet, and a special friend telling her to protect the continent with her life. And also an important Ocean.
The only trace of that Ocean is the smell of the black sand in Wasteland. The sand itself is a cursed entity, attacking and destroying various towns and tribes. And Yisu has been tracking it down for a long time, hoping to discover the connection between the sand and the Ocean - and hopefully, a connection to her past.
Recently, her journey takes her to the Gold Stone Tribe. The black sand has been relentless and nearly decimates their army. Yisu intervenes in time to protect the village. With her divine bow and arrows, she breaks the black sand as it transforms into vicious hawks.
Thus, the legend of the Hawk Hunter is born. Yisu never stays in the same location for long, forever tracking the black sand, battling it wherever she goes. She still doesn't remember who she is or where she's from, but nothing will stop her from finding the truth.
Connections
-Priestess Tess, of the Gold Stone Tribe, can communicate with the souls of the dead through her dreams, and in her memories for Spirit Whisper, Priestess Sharna was one of those souls.
-When we first meet Yisu in the main story, she signs up to take part in the Hawk Hunter event. When one of the staff members ask if she's taken part before, she says no. This is because she was too busy fighting the black sand and never came to do the hunting games.
-The "Ocean" that Yisu mentions is the Ocean of Memories. Before coming to Miraland, Yisu was one of the Five Envoys of the God of Styling and Beauty. She rules over the attribute of Cool.
-The attribute of Cool has also been called Handsomeness, and while Infinity Nikki isn't directly connected with Shining Nikki's timeline, Coolness is also attributed to Willpower. Plus, in Yisu's UR Reflection "Gilded Shackles" and her Time Corridor event "Realm of Beauty," she is regarded as the goddess of strength and courage. Yisu embodies all these aspects.
Fun Facts
-Yisu is the only POC main character. There are other POC characters mentioned, but they don't get character art.
-This isn't a Connection, but it's something I noticed: the beginning line for the Reflection is "It's a story from a long time ago," which is exactly what Krista/Christine says when you choose her Reflection for styling battles.

✨Girbosstember✨Official Commentary— Day 4
Gooooood morning, Girlboss deciders!
Yesterday’s matches finished as anticipated, with the Mayor of Moonlit City advancing in the Love League and Yexiao claiming the Shining League’s next Quarter Finals spot. They’ll be back to continue their quest for the Ultimate Girlboss Crown later on!
But the playoffs are still playing, and we have some exciting matchups for you today! First up in the Love League, it’s Yvette against Peachy! Yvette has perhaps one of the most drastic character arcs throughout the plot of Love Nikki. While we first meet her as the meek and anxious personal Secretary to then-Prime-Minister Nidhogg, after his status as a double agent is revealed, her career is damaged. What’s more, some further meddling from that villain up North gets her framed for treason! But she fights her way back into good standing with the light and used her experiences to take a stand against having Miraland’s society structured exclusively around styling ability, founding the Fair Future College and acting as its principal in the hopes of effecting widespread change so no one else will struggle like she has. Girlboss worthy moves? We will see! For her part, Peachy is also famously the assistant to a villain, but this enthusiastic nurse is not being duped in the slightest. She is not only complicit but often a key supporter of Gray Raven’s shady medical procedures, assisting him in keeping the soul-stealing Sixth Clinic operational as well as participating in other underhanded schemes that he has need of. Why does she do this? Why, to stay forever young, of course, and also for love! She wants Gray Raven to be her boyfriend, which shows how truly fearless she must be. Is this self aware evil nurse the girlboss we seek? You decide! Yvette has established a strong and early lead but nothing is set in stone yet!
Meanwhile in the Shinjng League, we have Zoey against Yisu! Let’s not mince words, Zoey is one of those candidates who has often been pegged as the likely winner of her League. She performed excellently in the prelims, garnering more than a 90% nomination rate. She has been leading her own men from a very young age and has fought her way through the dog eat dog world of North’s militant landscape and come out on top as the leader of her own mercenary band, the Justiciars. Her time management skills must be through the roof however, because she’s not only managing that but also has a side career in the theater, working with the December Troupe to star in a show, as well as making time for some much deserved vacation days. Is Zoey’s take-charge, badass, having-it-all energy what voters are looking for in their girlboss? We will see! Up against her today is Yisu. A nomadic young woman who’s handy with a bow, she wanders Wasteland determined to protect it despite having lost her memories of her past and her identity. She also seems to strike up homoerotic relationships with young ladies in several different tribes such as the Priestess Tess and Priestess Rhoda. In actuality, she is another one of the envoys whose purpose will be to assist Nikki in saving Miraland. Is all of this enough for her to outGirlboss Zoey? We’ll find out! Zoey has an early lead, but the gap is not insurmountable for Yisu.
Stay tuned and keep voting!

"I Wish This Was Sangria"
Check out the race leaders' support group from Dear Prince Dandelion!
Quest Objective: Steal some free mana buns.
Tumblr media
“Yes, welcome to our support group.” Jaina answered. She added with a roll of her eyes, “Hi, I’m Jaina—”
“Hi, Jaina.”
“—and I’m a sex addict.”
Stamina elixir and sex addicts? Where’s the overlap there—I don't want to think about it.
Khadgar noticed my furrowed brow, “Most support groups share the same problems. It seems we are all grappling with something different and need some…comradery. Why don't you join us?”
“We have free mana buns,” The old blood elf replied.
I leaned around Khadgar’s form to meet his gaze. “Sorry, who are you again?”
“I’m Lor’themar Theron…?” He said. His words hung in the air with some implied meaning.
“Hi, Lor’themar.” The customary greeting followed.
“We’ve met before. I’m the regent lord of Silvermoon, engaged to your best friend…” Lor’themar hesitated, waiting for a sign of recognition. “...and I’m an alcoholic.”
Lor’themar? Alcoholic? Where have I heard that before—? Recollection hit. “ Oh! You’re that guy Sylvanas used to bully all the time!”
Thrall sunk down in his chair. Lor’themar frowned at the paper cup of coffee in his hand. “I wish this was sangria.”
Everyone in the room shot the regent lord pitiful looks. Thrall heaved a heavy sigh as if it were a common occurrence. “Please continue, Khadgar.”
“Thank you.” The archmage ushered me to an empty seat next to him and resumed his tale of addiction. “I’ve been overusing stamina elixirs for three months. At first, I thought it was simply to keep up with the three dragons I adopted and the demon that co-parents with me. But since I’ve started attending the retreat…I’ve realized that I’m not used to peace. I’m always expecting some explosion to break the silence! For instance: a week ago, my ki—Eona went out on a date late at night—”
Blood rushed to my face. Khadgar continued, “and I was so worried for her safety.”
Genn raised his hand. “Question. I’m Genn—”
“Hi, Genn.”
“—and I have anger management issues.” Genn glared at the ground as he uttered the confession. “Are you certain that your fear wasn't parental? My daughter, Tess, has had many nights out with her lady friends for the past few days. She doesn't return until morning! It always rubs me the wrong way.”
“Genn, now is not the time to discuss your daughter’s impending lesbianism. I’m Tyrande, and I struggle with…pyromania,” The High Priestess added.
“Hi, Tyrande.”
Flashes of moments with Tess filled my mind. Her arm linked with mine, strolling through the halls of Anduin-crazed women.
“You dress like a normal person, at least—cute, but normal.”
“I prefer wolves over lions.”
I looked everywhere but Genn’s face. Tess was pretty—which is not a relevant point!
“With all due respect, Tyrande: if my daughter preferred the company of women, I’m confident that she would tell me.” Genn rumbled.
“With all due respect, Genn: as a mother who has a daughter that prefers women, I’m not wrong.”
Jaina blinked. “Oh! We should’ve given our pronouns.”
Thrall raised a hand. “We’ll circle back. Khadgar, do you have anything else to add?”
Khadgar shook his head. Thrall motioned to Jaina. “You’re next.”
“Right.” Jaina straightened her posture. She crossed her legs beneath a long, weathered trench coat (another elaborate attempt at blending in). “For me, what I’m struggling with is…intimacy. I’ve been in a lot of relationships. All of them have just…ripped my heart apart. Over and over…I’ve recently recollected with a former lover of mine—”
Our eyes met. Jaina eyes quickly flit away. “But I’m incapable of journeying into anything more vulnerable than sex. I’m aware that relationships based purely on arousal exist, but I know that’s not what he wants. I also know that we click, and if I could get over the fear, we might work well together…perfectly, even. But how do you get over fear of someone you love?”
A respectful silence hung in the air. Kalec’s glassy, dead gaze from last night haunted me throughout her story. Jaina wore a similar expression as she stared at her lap. I want to say something. But…I’m Kalec’s sister. I’m too afraid she’d take it as a criticism instead of advice. But we are friends…
I shifted towards her in my seat. “Maybe…you should tell him that.”
Every pair of eyes seeped into my skin. I traced the ivory pattern of Jaina’s braid with my eyes, the only object in the room that didn't hang on every word I spoke, “Letting him know might make you feel better. If the two of you truly work well together, he’ll listen. Maybe setting boundaries will make the relationship more trusting and less scary. I’m sure Kal— whoever it is, would agree.”
Heads bobbed in agreement. Jaina mouthed a thank you. Her shoulders relaxed.
Thrall’s gaze fell upon me. “Would you like to go next?”
I froze. The people surrounding me had far more power than I did. Their presences filled the room like an astral orb in the sky. But, at that moment, their identities were meaningless. As was mine.
I clasped my hands together in my lap. “I’m Eon, and…there’s way too many issues to just list one. My father’s dead. He passed away years ago. I think I’ve finally given up on trying to be something he wanted, but I may be wrong about that.
“My mother is alive. She hasn't spoken to me in years, and I’m too afraid to reach out first because of what she’ll say. I was not the best daughter. I left her alone with my aunt, and I’m afraid that made things worse. My aunt was a psychiatrist to the worst people Azeroth has known, and they broke her. I know it’s taken a toll on her and my mother.”
I paused. My body felt hollow, like organs and arteries had been yanked out and pooled on the floor in front of everyone. Something didn't feel right. Something was missing. “But I have support in my life. I have a close relationship with my brothers. They are an important part of my life. I have healthy parental figures in my life that don’t inspire feelings of inferiority—”
I glanced in Khadgar’s direction and kept going. “—I finally have the guts to pursue someone that makes me happy. I’m pretty sure I’ve been in love with them for years.
“The people I share blood with—and a few twisted individuals that I was close to—did some terrible things. Some people even called them monsters. But I don't see them that way. They’re people with problems. And I think I’m finally convincing myself that I’m not one either, and people don't see me that way.”
Khadgar sniffed and wiped at his eyes. “That was beautiful, my little murloc. I’m so proud of you—”
“Do you need a tissue?”
“...How about a bottle of stamina—”
“NO!”

AU where Lamp was born from a mining-based economy :)
Queen
The Kingdom was built on its mines, literally and figuratively. Everyone knows of the wonders that lie beneath. Diamonds, rubies, sapphires beyond compare. As a child, (the small and future) Queen learns the smooth, cool touch of her mother’s opals long before she learns of the labour that bore them. Her teenage years are a string of suitors, each offering ever more splendid prizes. Aquamarines, from the riverland depositories. Jade from the sea-shelf, tourmaline from the mountains.
All would win her favour with jewels. None would tell her the truth of their harvest.
But the Queen has eyes, and in time she has power. Sense to see the back-breaking labour, sanity to put an end to it. She tours the shafts. Trails her fingertips along the walls until they come away black with smut. She meets the workers, listens to their stories, hears their coughs as dust rattles through their lungs.
The mines are shuttered. Past centuries bought forth enough jewels to last lifetimes. Let her people emerge from the dark and breathe in the light. Let their gemstones fill museums, not vaults. Let them trade, and smith, and work the stones for pleasure, not survival.
She styles herself to set a precedent. The court’s halls are hung with portraits of Ancestors who could hardly stand beneath the weight of their ceremonial jewels. For herself, she selects a single, simple piece. A pendant with a malachite stone, that reminds her of her mother’s eyes.
“Beautiful,” a husky voice murmurs one morn. Bold fingers brush the pendant, and the Queen gazes up into unfamiliar eyes. ‘Beautiful’, the word echoes in her mind, then ‘yes, oh yes you are.’
Priestess
Tess can barely remember a time before the Sound. Logically - when her mind is settled enough for reason - she knows it wasn’t always there. She wasn’t born with the ringing in her ears. Didn’t grow with the reverberation of it pulsing through her her veins. Didn’t stumble into adulthood with the deafening urgency pulling her towards it, every moment of every day.
So. There must have been a beginning, but that moment is as lost to the surface as she is.
It was a relief, the first time she realised that the sound grew louder in proximity to the mine shafts. Because if it has a source, then there must be a Reason, and if she can understand the reason, then perhaps the ceaseless, endless, terrible noise might finally abate.
She packs little for her journey. Perhaps part of her senses that supplies will be of little use below the surface. Perhaps part of her knows that she won’t be coming back.
She hesitates, just for a moment, on the precipice. One foot inside, palm coated with soot as she presses it to the stone wall and feels the sound echoing from below.
All she truly knows is that every step, every turn, every descent, takes her closer to the source of the Sound, and she cannot, will not, must not rest until she finds it.
Guard
He refuses to be bested by a common jewel thief.
The mines are perilous, have been shuttered for centuries, but the allure of the gems within remains.
Guard has worked many roles within the Citadel. He began as a boy, guarding stalls in the central market. From there, he graduated to the docks, proved himself protecting the fisherfolk and their catch. His time at the Temple was a promotion in name, but he found that he missed the sea breeze, the creak of wood, the lap of waves. Patrolling the corridors, he learned not to ask questions, not to look anyone directly in the eye. And then… the Incident, and now – the mines.
The role is a punishment, he knows that. A lesson in guarding his tongue more than guarding the deep, cavernous passages. Only madmen would attempt to break and enter here. Madmen – and a jewel thief.
For weeks he catches only the faintest glimpses. A shadow on the wall. The twitch of a cloak. A flash of blonde at the end of a corridor, gone in a blink. He might even doubt himself, if she didn’t want him to know she was there.
At first it’s just snatches of laughter, ringing out from the end of a corridor.
As he comes to learn her favoured routes, he finds symbols crudely hewn into the stone. Trailmarkers, obviously intended to throw him off the scent. This arrow leads to a channel so narrow as to be impassable, that one to a gap only a child could squeeze through.
She’s taunting him, teasing him, and the longer it lasts, the more determined he becomes to catch her.
He sets traps, lies in wait. Follows the routes she’s prone to taking, maps the antechambers he thinks she’s searching for. Here, where the last trove of diamonds was mined. Or there, where emeralds were as plentiful as pebbles.
Once, he follows her so deep for so long that he turns around on himself. Looks up to find the paths unfamiliar, no sign of his markers to guide him. An hour passes, then another. He tries first this fork in the path, then a tunnel that leads towards a distant hum. The longer he walks, the darker it becomes. He feels the first lick of fear long before his lamp dies. He sits, then. Feels the cold of the walls seep into his skin as he tries in vain to recall his steps.
Just as panic is beginning to set in truly, a flicker of light.
A full passage away, but closer than he’s ever seen her. Blonde, yes, and smaller than he’d thought, but the dim candlelight casts a shadow that rises to the ceiling – that almost touches him as she crooks a beckoning finger.
Her cheeks are grimed with soot and her grin is all at his expense, but for a moment’s blessed relief, Guard allows himself to be bested by the jewel thief and guided back to daylight.
Teller
Teller grew up on stories of the mines, but has never set foot in one until Jul disappears.
Oh, it’s not so dramatic as all that. No sudden Vanishing, here one moment and gone the next. When she’s deep on an exploration, he can go weeks without seeing her – months, if he should travel while she’s underground.
But as summer ebbs into autumn without a glimpse, the browning of the leaves brings a sense of… unease.
It’s silly, he knows, to think that he could stroll straight out of the Temple, shimmy down the nearest shaft and find her in an afternoon. But still. He can try.
He doesn’t go unprepared. Magister would give him men, he knows, and all the supplies he could need. But first he would need to Ask, and then he would need to Explain, and neither of those are conducive to actually Doing. And so, just this once, he takes a leaf out of Jul’s book and Takes.
The map book Magister keeps in his quarters is beautifully illustrated. Teller has watched him pore over it for hours, always cleansing his hands reverently before turning its pages. The whole Citadel is here – its streets and tunnels, above ground and below. The mines will have changed shape over the centuries, he knows, altered by cave-ins and erosions and neglect. But he has a start.
The map helps for far longer than he might have expected. It charts a true course, leads him through narrow, winding tunnels that must surely pass well beyond the boundaries of the Citadel.
His guilt grows as his coal-black fingers incriminate themselves upon the pristine pages. And so he looks, learns, and stows it away. He's sure that he remains on course, certain that his recollection is true, even as he enters an unmarked ante-chamber. A vaulted ceiling that has no right to be here. A shaft of light, impossible at these depths. And a distant sound that might be running water, but sounds like no stream Teller has ever crossed.
Most curiously, most temptingly, most bafflingly of all… at the center of the room, a pedestal. Hewn from marble of a shining cream, topped by a plush red pillow of the softest silk. And there, in the center... incongruous, illogical, but oh so very real... a pristine brass oil lamp, just begging to be touched.
