January 17, 2012, Clazzi released his first solo album: Infant

CLAZZI (클래지), born Kim Sung-hoon (김성훈) on November 15th, 1974. He was born in Korea, and moved to Canada to major in music technology at Capilano University. In 2001 he formed the group Clazziguai, and ten years alter he started collaborating with many Korean artists and making his own solo music. All of the songs on ‘Infant’ have vocals, which none of them are his own, but features singers from groups like W&Whale, Urban Zakapa and Sunny Hill. Other notable songs from the album are: ‘’How We Feel’’ & ‘’Sexy Doll’’.  Clazziquai continues to make music together and Clazzi also works s a composer, DJ and producer.

Nah it's pretty bad. There's plenty of korean music that's great though. Just kpop is horrendous. It's highly commecialized to take advantage of young girls. There's no passion for the music and the songs mean nothing. They never produce anything creative or new because that doesnt make money. It's just the same safe formulaic stuff over and over again. If you want actual good korean bands that are in it for the music and arent abused by huge corporations then here's a list of bands I like personally:

The Koxx - these guys are pretty popular in korea. They're like chill funky rock. You can tell they all have a passion for music and love what they do.

Guckkasten - these guys are also in the rock genre but the lead singer's voice is just so unique. He's got this amazing opera voice that complements the style nicely. Their songs are pretty hit or miss but when you like a song you REALLY like it.

Glen Check - these guys are like indie synth. They have some great beats and sweet vocals.

The Finnn (Im Jang Hyun) - he produces indie rock but has stopped making music this year. Some great music to sit back and relax to.

Linus' Blanket - very sweet indie pop. Another great band to relax to.

Heart Shake - another very sweet indie pop band.

Clazziquai Project - a synthpop band that mixes jazz, house, and electronic music. They're an experimental group formed by DJ Clazzi. They're still active but haven't released anything in a while.

There's a ton more but this is just a start. Believe it or not there are traditionally formed bands in korea. They arent all assigned groups by big music companies and trained for years. Garage bands exist in korea too and they're awesome. I just wish more people gave them a chance.

Nouveau clip de Clazziquai = Moi contente ! La chanson me fait penser à Love Recipe. J’avoue que je suis plus fan de Curious qui est sorti un peu avant mais la chanson Speak of Love reste une bonne petite chanson à écouter pour se détendre. Sinon le clip est assez quirky, on voit un couple mais on sait pas trop s’il s’aime ou s’il se font que des crasses. Franchement c’est mimi à regarder :D Mais dans tous les cas les voix de Horan et Alex font le job :)

What a pretty little duet. It has a nice, sad sound without being boring.

This reminds me of road trips with the windows down and long stretches of mostly empty highway and sticking your hand out the window to feel the air while your co-pilot’s asleep in the passenger seat.

Uh, basically this song embodies at least half of my favorite post-breakup tropes by which I mean it is like a bunch of tiny knives in my heart and it makes me so happy.

This really shouldn’t be my thing, and it is not, but it is just so–so compelling, somehow. I’ve listened to it several times and am still not sure what to do with it. Here, have two confusing categories:

CLAZZIQUAI PROJECT(클래지콰이 프로젝트) - #궁금해 Curious

Youhou !! Clazziquai Project est de retour avec un titre très sympathique. La musique est toujours autant bien travaillée. C’est un pur délice à écouter et les voix d’Alex et Horan sont toujours aussi parfaites. Le clip est assez simple, on aurait dit le groupe quand ils étaient adolescents. J’adore toutes les petites références à leurs précédents albums <3 Clazziquai Project ne me déçoit pas  sur ce come back et je sens que je vais écouter cette musique en boucle.
