Texas Antisemitism Executive Order
PLEASE SHARE THIS AROUND!!
As many of y'all know by now, I am a Texan. Specifically a Texan in higher education, at a public university. Gov. Abbott's new executive order to have public universities crack down on Anti-Semitic speech directly impacts the students advocating for Palestine.
Phrases such as "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" can now be considered HATE SPEECH!
“Some radical organizations on our campuses engaged in acts that have no place in Texas,” Abbott said in a press release. “Now, we must work to ensure that our college campuses are safe spaces for members of the Jewish community.”
This was never about protecting Jewish people, but protecting Zionists. The order was issued after universities across Texas had issues after Oct. 7th's events. Pro-Palestine and Pro-Israel students were butting heads, and some broke out into fights according to some sources. As a uni student myself, I have seen these conflicting sides in person. Abbott's statement also makes no mention of the Anti-Islamic rhetoric that has also been spreading due to Israel's persecution of Palestinians.
This order calls for all public universities and colleges review their free speech policies, and to lay out in their policies the definition of antisemitism, and punishments for Anti-Semitic rhetoric. All within 90 days of the order's publishment.
Most of this appears to be banking on HB 3257, the bill that introduced Texas' Holocaust, Genocide, And Antisemitism Advisory Commission
Now, there has been some actual pushback on this, from the The Texas chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Texas) as well as students and administration from the universities and colleges effected.
“This order not only undermines the principles of free speech and academic freedom but also perpetuates a harmful narrative that equates criticism of Israeli policies with antisemitism,” CAIR-DFW Executive Director Mustafa Carroll said in a statement.
Taken from the Dallas Morning News article posted earlier in this post.
The wordage used by Abbott worries many people, due to the fact that it is so vague. To the point where criticizing Israel and it's government can be considered hate speech.
Please share this around. If it is happening here, it can happen to any state.
Don't stop speaking about Palestine. Don't stop supporting the Palestinian citizens who are displaced right now. Educate your peers, donate if you are able, and don't give up hope.

Ok, so I have a very silly and probably barely applicable question, but what with Morgoth-canary and I think I remember a post where you said you had very strong opinions about Maglor's voice (I don't remember them, it was one of those "blink and it's gone" posts of my feed ! But I'd like to read them if you feel like it - although I don't know the first thing about music so it's just really sheer curiosity), so I was wondering if you had thoughts about Morgoth's voice ? What could Ainuric voices be like ? And did taking permanent physical form affect his voice ? Probably, right ? He wouldn't have been able to modulate/change it quite as much as before, maybe be stuck with a classically villainy "evil" one ? And then in the void he would have no voice anymore.
Ooooh! Thank you for this question, it's great!
First, Maglor. He is a bass. Well, not really, because I'm certain that Elves have wider vocal ranges, but his speaking voice is rather low, and his singing voice is varied, but can go super low, vibrations-in-your-bones low, and his songs are generally low on pitch. Like the sea. The sea does not squeek.
This is one of the headcanons I will argue about. I am rather strong in my opinions about Maglor. I would rather agree on "Maglor in the Darkness Everlasting"* than on tenor Maglor.
Oh, so now to the king of fools, lord of nothing, Melkor in his various iterations. Starting back when he wasn't such an idiot yet. Standard Morgoth content warning: we'll be doing a short recap of his history. No details, just allusions to events.
So, Ainulindale. which is my favorite chapter. Melkor was the greatest of the Ainur, which means, I think, he had a relatively wide vocal range, well wider than all the other Ainur.
But also, he was a little bint (word thanks to dfw), and taking into account all the band kid stereotypes… OK, tbh I know exactly one professional soprano, who also plays violin, and she's really nice and the only other things she's got in common with Melkor are the fear of spiders and cool hair. But, this being said, the personality stereotypes say that Melkor should be a soprano.
The Ainur's voices aren't gender-coded, I would say. If they even had the idea of gender at that point.
So, he can do many things, but he generally sings in a high pitch, because this makes everyone notice him.
Also, musically... so, this is that thing called chromatic notes. It's a think that jazz does (and I love jazz, I have mental associacions with jazz that would make tolkien chase me with an axe, but let's not digress). Like: when you compare Chopin to Mozart; Chopin is way more chromatic.
So, Melkor doesn't do it. He sings his own dumb melody, which is in a dissonance to everyone else initially (which means it is chromatic in the context of the whole Music), but internally it is simple. It is fifths, lates I would say he just repeats one note on and on, just in many octaves. And the note is probably B. Or maybe G flat.
OK, in non-musical terms: imagine someone is playing a piano (in a normal, mostly-white-keys way), and someone else is banging on the black keys, and then only on all the Gb keys. It's loud but primitive. And doesn't fit until you go Chopin and everything becomes lyrical and so sad, and then he can't really break it, I can't explain it well.
TLDR: Extremely simple harmony, but loud and not in the normal key.
Also, I wanted to talk about power chords but I don't think you want another musical tangent. (They're not as cool as they sound, they're empty-ish inside but it kinda works in the context)
Then they all go to Arda and at some point begin speaking properly. Iirc it's only after the Elves, but I assume the Ainur did have some sounds associated with them even before.
So Melkor's general sound landscape would again be empty inside. Some very loud tones, because they feel majestic: thunder rumbling, ice grinding, earthquake and the murmur of volcano, you can feel it in your bones and it's terryfying. Some very high tones, because they are effective and hard to miss. Evil screeching. No middle tones, because he's an idiot he finds them boring. Empty shell, like an epic movie soundtrack compised by a first-year student of music school and played on a midi. All the trappings but none of the actual work.
His voice, during the Black Rider phase would be similar. Low and rumbling and terryfying, but everytime he gets emotional it becomes high-pitched and has this infuriating timbre of when people talk with a very tense throat. It makes him sound insecure. Because he is. And when beaten by Tulkas he screams like this.
Then we have the parole and I do hc that he actually meant to be better, only he imagined it like "I stop breaking your stuff, and messing with the little beings, and you start listening to me like you listen to Manwë (= you do all I want you to do)" and was not really interested in putting in the effort. So the whole idea broke at the first problems (the city is so pretty, not everyone likes me, Feanor).
Anyway in his Aman phase I imagine Melkor with relatively low voice, but not so low it's weird. He fits in the nornal Elven spectrum. Baritone? Getting higher with the pitch when needed, but rarely he would let his emotions show enough to go very high.
Also, the sweet manner of talking that Sauron had as Annatar or in Numenor, but not so self-deprecating. Less of a "I'm but a humble servant" and more of "I am pretty cool, hey, want to do cool things with me?" The general vibe of a bad boy in a teenage romantic drama. Elongated syllabes, using all the most recent and fashionable Noldorin mannerisns (sa-si all the way!). Also, a lot of whispering, when he spreads the gossip and what not. "Sexy voice" but with his lack of understanding and respect for bounduaries it often feels creepy.
Then he grows more and more sinister, more focused on revenge against the Noldor (well, Feanor) and the Valar. His voice becomes more like a low-key Disney villain. The pitch is unchanged, but the tone is full of suggestions of subtext. It's never clear, but a lot of insinuations are hanging in the air. this kind of slithery, musical intonation in a sentence, elongating of wovels, slightly question-like tone too often. (I can't give you a good example, Scar would be a good example, but only in the Polish dub)
Then he does the Ungoliant business and gets stuck in his Dark Lord form. So, I would say low, booming voice, but flat (=not many overtones, the voice sounds shallow). Loud and with echo, but somehow not as majestic as he would like it. And when he gets scared or lusty or anyhow agitated, he starts talking faster and in a higher voice and with clenched throat.
And he gradually deteriorates, due to Silmarils and general awfulness, and his voice becomes more raspy, more noisy. At the end it's impossible to ascribe a set pitch to it, just like to white noise. Still it doesn't have tones in the middle, but the highs and lows are a mess, and closer to each other, the lacking middle is more narrow. And he doesn't speak much near the end, he's not that interested in any communication. Especially after trying to talk (ekhm) with Lúthien ended like it did. His voice rusts.
And at the end it's just panicked screams that sound more like ….not even an animal. More like a mindless dark creature than like a person. Switching between threats and pleading and pure panic, always full of hatered and disdain. Loud but always so very flat.
And then, upon hearing all those screams, Manwë realizes that the brother he remembers is gone, and that he can't do anything about it— how can you do a reprise without one of the main singers? And even if you could, how can you be happy forever missing someone you love? He doesn't know. I don't know. I am sad.
On one hand the very idea of Second Music is so wonderful and answers so many questions and Aegnor and Andreth and Elrond and Elross and all that and more— and I can't imagine Manwë thinking about this idea and not thinking at the back of his head "my brother won't be with us" and not being sad. I am not saying it's not possible. Just that I can't wrap my mind around it. Or my feelings.
Yes, this is one of my attractors, one of the topics I usually land on. Because. Reasons. Which I will not ramble about because they are personal. But it does make me sad. A lot.
I have some scenes in my head when people Valar talk about this, Nienna obv, she doesn't get it either, many people would probably say she would get it idk
Anyway that's it. That's the post. Sorry it's not more concrete.

Okay, so I haven't really posted any new art in three years, and I even failed at posting this BEFORE the actual event, but I have just returned from the 2024 David Foster Wallace Conference (my fourth overall) and had an amazing time. A life-affirming experience, as always. I was happy to be asked to create the logo for the conference again this year, but I will admit that I didn't have any fresh ideas, having done this a few times now. Conference organizer Matt Bucher suggested the Whataburger connection, since it's a Texas institution (some might say cult), and I loved that concept. I actually love Whataburger's branding a lot more than its food. Wallace had a junk food diet and love for fast food, which must have inspired him to name the Whataburger Southwest Junior Invitational after this regional fast food chain. I assume the he would have encountered it in Tucson, when he was doing his postgraduate work at the University of Arizona. It's not hard to imagine him playing a few tennis matches at the Randolph Tennis Center (the site of the tournament) and then grabbing a bite to eat at the local Whataburger.
It's possible to read Infinite Jest, and depending on where you live, not realize that Whataburger is a real brand. There are about 20 Whataburger locations in Austin, TX alone, which makes sense, considering its proximity to the Whataburger HQ in San Antonio. They operate 1,000 locations across the southwest and have a history going back to 1950. I can't tell if there is any deeper meaning in DFW's selection of this brand. The young tennis players take qualifying for the Whataburger tournament very seriously, some, including Hal Incandenza, pushing themsleves to the physical, psychological, and pharmacological limit to get there. This seriousness is undercut by a ridiculous sounding sponsor for the tournament, which turns out to be a very real American brand of fast food.

As y'all know I love TCM 1 and 2 but I find it incredibly funny that, despite the fact so many Texans worked on the movie, the geography in it is a fucking mess.
To start, the first movie is stated to take place in the fictional town of Newt, in the also-fictional Muerto County. Most people assume Newt to be located somewhere outside of Austin, given that's where it was filmed. Makes sense. The TCM game even goes with this interpretation, with a map showing them in the Travis County area.
Tumblr media
But at one point in the movie, Drayton mentions needing to drive over to Childress. As if it's nearby.
Slight problem with that-
Tumblr media
THEY'RE SIX HOURS APART. So then you think, okay, maybe Newt isn't near Austin, maybe it's farther North.
But the second movie throws a wrench into things.
Tumblr media
If we go with this, then the Childress thing is again bizarre, as it's pretty far North. It also conflicts with the Austin area setting.
Tumblr media
As seen here, Austin and Travis County are closer to Central Texas. Nobody from Texas would call this South, unless they were fudging it a bit I suppose.
Moving on, we have Stretch and LG's radio station being located in Burkburnett. Now, Burkburnett is another real city, and it's near the Oklahoma border. The movie seems to know this too, as the station is named K-OKLA, and the Red River (which separates that part of TX and OK) gets mentioned. Nice and realistic! However, at one point Stretch describes Burkburnett as being "at the top of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex"...
Tumblr media
Personally, I wouldn't describe a two hour difference as being "at the top of" an area. And Lefty apparently drove two hours just to ask Stretch to play her tape on the air.
Tumblr media
I will give them some credit though: One cops mentions sending Lefty back to Amarillo. There is in fact a Rangers department in that city. They also have the Texas vs OU game being played in DFW, which is correct, as they traditionally face off at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. Points for those details! But in terms of picking a location for the main events, things are a lot more scattered.
Anyway yeah, I know it's just a movie, mistakes happen, no big deal, but the inaccuracies are just really funny to me, in particular the Newt situation. Feels like Newt is TCM's personal version of Springfield.

You've said before you weren't reading comics for some chunk of time. What made you stop reading and start up again? Did you keep up with it at all?
It was a mix of factors, some tied to canon and others entirely personal.
One was that I got burnt out big time trying to keep up with Final Crisis as it was happening. You think the event comics these days are bloated, with too many tie-ins that are hard to keep track of? Final Crisis was worse than the last three summer events DC has run combined. I'm pretty sure I own multiple tie-ins that don't even get reprinted anymore, they were completely superfluous and have been consigned to the dustbin of canon.
But it was exasperated by the fact that, the summer that event happened, I graduated from my undergrad years of college and, failing to find a job in the DFW area, had to move back in with my parents out west in a town that barely had a bookstore, let alone a comic book shop. And this was pre-Comixology so I functionally lost access to most of the comics scene outside of the scans people posted on livejournal.
By the time I was enrolled in grad school and moved to another other town that had a comic shop, Battle for the Cowl had happened, and I absolutely hated the very idea of Steph and Damian being given Batgirl and Robin. At the time, my feeling was that it was taking the legacies away from the people who'd defined them in the modern era, away from two people who were genuinely selfless and heroic, and handing them off to a pair of selfish spoiled brats who only cared about themselves and their own egos.
With 15 years of hindsight I can mellow that assessment down to, Steph and Damian's motivations are both undeniably centered on themselves (ie she wants appreciation, he wants acceptance, etc.) and that doesn't interest me as much as Cass and Tim, who are more motivated by their senses of duty and responsibility. But yeah, at the time it was a huge turn-off, so I didn't bother getting back into the habit of buying books on the regular.
I kept tabs on canon events through Internet fandom up until the New 52 happened, then I just dropped it all until the Gotham by Gaslight movie came out and lured me back in. That happened to coincide with the Rebirth era and DC's been slowly but surely dragging itself out of its pit ever since, so it's kept me around.

"By focusing directly on those responsible, by showing up at their residences, in their offices, and then in the forest itself, activists have kept their interventions limited only to the narrowest lane possible. Perhaps that period is now over. Nothing prevents the entire metropolitan space from becoming a zone of creative subversion."

Tablao Show Experience: El Yiyo, the Star of the Stage
Irving, Texas, October 27th
On a Sunday night, at the late hour of Nine o’ clock, Consuelo and I traversed to the Irving Arts Center to attend a live performance of an Authentic Flamenco Show in the DFW area. Presented courtesy of the Royal Opera of Madrid Institution, we had the opportunity to experience flamenco professionals traveling all the way from Madrid, Spain. Five members all contributed their individual unique elements from the genre to produce an immersive experience of Spanish Culture. However, two of the members in particular stood out to my developing musicianship; the dancer El Yiyo, and the Guitarist.
At 9PM on the dot, three individuals began their production behind the opening curtain; a man sitting on a beat box creates the starting rhythm, with silent strumming from the guitarist annexing to create a gallop. To accompany, one man starts their story in the middle-eastern influenced Spanish singing style found in traditional Flamenco shows. Suddenly, the scene flares up to bring in lights, colors, and sounds. The music becomes lively and introduces the expectations to be had with the upcoming El Yiyo.
El Yiyo follows the entrance with no accompaniment. His fierce presence and use of two walking sticks combine to create a solo rhythm captivating the audience to lean into what he is to do next. His foot taps establish a perplexing rhythm unimaginable to consider as a solo exhibition. Following comes a woman, reintroducing the troupe to serenade her opening. The claps initiated with the audience brings an inclusive experience to make one feel part of the show, further displaying the beauty she brought to the scene.
The nimble strumming represented the crucial importance of the right hand, utilizing the index, middle, ring (anular), and even the pinky fingers (at times), as well as the thumb (pulgar). Utilizing dexterity in each finger allowed for another dimension to be added to the music that embodies the flamenco genre. The enhancement makes simple chord progressions feel so dense with expression.
The agile arpeggios in the higher frets of the guitarist paired with the oscillation and passionfelt chants of the singer made for some beautiful storytelling. Around the halfway point the singer and the guitarist create a conversation amongst themselves, with the guitarist using the notes to respond to the cries let out from the singer. He then utilizes the bass in the arpeggios to create a soft cry of his own, leaning into the notes he’s creating to express the emotion. The dynamics slowly build up to become a shout of feelings, reflected in the loud and punctual strums from the guitarist. After the burst of shouts, abruptly both the musicians back off into a soft, endearing ending.
Continuing the show out until the end, El Yiyo’s dramatic and flamboyant essence are appreciated by all and embraced by the crew to accentuate his skillful dances. The guitarist complexes El Yiyo’s brisk rhythm with silent strumming and resonance tapping on the body of the guitar. The matched energy derived from the passing rhythm between the entire crew of musicians, all looking towards each other at different points of the show to catch and create the tempo of the show.
The performers end the show with a sense of pure excitement to derive the feelings of being a kid again. The clapping anthems of all the participants and audience brought together a full circle experience to slam down the lights. A last minute hoorah and celebration brought this exciting journey and celebration to a close, leaving me another slice of Spanish brilliance.

no way is that QUINTA 'QUINN' BRODY.. they're a 36-year-old SYNTH notoriously known for being ABRASIVE & BOISTEROUS but there are some people who have seen them being SELF-ASSURED & DECISIVE. if you ask me, they remind me a lot of loud laughter between brothers in arms, a box full of mementos, and having a love-hate relationship with being one of the boys, but that could just be because they're considered the TOMBOY WITH A GIRLY STREAK around town. just keep an eye on them & see if their true colors shine through..

Age: 36
FC: Jacqueline Sato
Height: 5'8"
Pronouns: She/Her
Sexuality: Heterosexual

[+] self-assured, strong-willed, decisive [–] abrasive, brazen, boisterous
BIOGRAPHY
tw: death
Growing up, Quinn never really learned how to put down roots. A born and bred military brat, whose father had also been a born and bred military brat in a long line of military brats, she spent her childhood living on various bases.
She lost both of her parents in quick succession when she was 16 years old. First, her mom passed away after a lengthy battle with a terminal illness, and shortly after, her dad was killed in action. Fate has a cruel sense of humour.
She might have lost herself in the grief if it weren't for her aunt and uncle, Peggy and John Jones, who immediately agreed to take her in. Moving to DFW after only living on military bases was a little jarring, but their love and support helped ease the transition; and honestly, it was nice to have one place to call home.
It was also nice to have sibling figures after years of being an only child. At the time, her aunt and uncle had two adopted children of their own; Clara, whom she looked up to and almost immediately started emulating, and Neptune, who was the same age as Quinn and quickly became her best friend.
Given her own family history, it came as no surprise when she chose to enlist at the same time and into the same branch of the military as Neptune. Like him, she joined the Navy after high school and eventually became a Navy SEAL.
Quinn was 25 years old and on leave from the Navy when two life-changing events transpired. First, Neptune found Karma under his bed and brought her home to Peggy and John. Second, she met Theo Brody at a bar.
After a few drinks, the two of them shared their respective woes: he explained that his parents kept harping on him to get married, and she confided that she was concerned about her family's financial situation now that they suddenly had another mouth to feed. As a joke, she suggested that if they got married, it would solve both of their problems—his parents would get off his case, and she would get paid more by the Navy. By the end of the night, it wasn't a joke anymore.
So, they got married. Even though it was mostly on paper, they did start a physical relationship that they picked up every time she came back home; and while they lived separate lives when she was gone, they stayed in touch.
She was in her early thirties when she finished her service, moved back to DFW, and started working as a firefighter with one of Clara's husbands. However, now Theo was the one who was travelling for work, so any plans to figure out what was up with their marriage were once more put on the back burner.
At this point, Quinn isn't entirely sure what she would classify them as. The most accurate description would probably be that they're roommates with benefits who also happen to be legally married. But hey, it works for them, right?

Van Rental at DFW Airport: Sprinter Buzz
Tumblr media
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is one of the busiest airports in the world, serving millions of travelers each year. For many of those visitors, reliable transportation is essential, whether it’s for a family vacation, a business trip, or group travel. Renting a van from DFW Airport can be a smart, cost-effective solution for those who need more space, comfort, and flexibility than a standard rental car can offer. In this guide, we’ll explore the benefits of van rentals, the types of vans available, tips for choosing the right van, and the top rental companies at DFW Airport.
Why Rent a Van at DFW Airport?
Spaciousness: Vans offer significantly more room than sedans or SUVs, making them ideal for families, groups of friends, or business teams. Whether you’re traveling with a lot of luggage or just want extra legroom, vans provide ample space for both passengers and belongings.
Group Travel: If you're traveling with a group, renting a van allows everyone to stay together, rather than splitting up into multiple vehicles. This not only simplifies coordination but also makes it easier to enjoy the journey together.
Comfort: Modern vans are equipped with comfortable seating, entertainment systems, climate control, and other amenities that make long trips more pleasant. Whether you’re headed on a road trip or navigating Dallas traffic, the comfort of a van enhances the overall experience.
Cost-Effective: Renting a van can be more economical than renting multiple smaller vehicles, especially when traveling with a large group. You’ll save on rental fees, fuel, and parking by consolidating your transportation needs into one vehicle.
Flexibility: With a van rental, you have the flexibility to go where you need, when you need. Whether it’s a hotel, a business meeting, or a tourist attraction, you can set your own schedule without relying on public transportation or ride-sharing services.
Types of Vans Available for Rent at DFW Airport
There are various types of vans available for rent at DFW Airport, depending on your specific needs. Here’s an overview of the most common options:
Passenger Vans: These are ideal for transporting larger groups of people, typically seating between 7 and 15 passengers. Passenger vans are commonly used for family vacations, group trips, or shuttle services. They offer comfortable seating and sufficient storage for luggage.
Minivans: A minivan is perfect for families or smaller groups of up to 7 passengers. They offer a balance of space, comfort, and fuel efficiency, making them a popular choice for road trips and airport transfers. Minivans also feature foldable seats for extra cargo space.
Cargo Vans: If you're traveling for business and need to transport equipment or goods, cargo vans provide ample storage space. These vans are also useful for moving furniture, catering supplies, or other large items. Cargo vans are spacious but still easy to drive.
Luxury Vans: For those looking for a more upscale experience, luxury vans come with premium features such as leather seats, advanced entertainment systems, and enhanced climate control. These are often rented for corporate events, VIP transport, or special occasions.
12-15 Passenger Vans: For large groups, a 12- or 15-passenger van is the best option. These vans are perfect for sports teams, large families, or company outings. They offer maximum seating capacity while maintaining comfort and legroom for passengers.
Top Van Rental Companies at DFW Airport
DFW Airport has several major car rental companies, many of which offer a wide selection of vans. Here’s a look at some of the top van rental providers you’ll find at DFW Airport:
Enterprise Rent-A-Car: Enterprise is known for its extensive fleet and excellent customer service. At DFW Airport, Enterprise offers a variety of van options, including minivans, passenger vans, and luxury vans. They also have flexible rental terms and a well-organized pickup process.
Hertz: One of the most recognized names in car rentals, Hertz offers a variety of van rentals at DFW Airport, including both passenger and cargo vans. Hertz is a great option for travelers looking for reliable, well-maintained vehicles and competitive pricing.
Avis: Avis is another popular choice for van rentals at DFW. They offer minivans and passenger vans with a focus on comfort and safety. Avis frequently provides discounts and promotions, making it a great option for budget-conscious travelers.
Budget Rent-A-Car: True to its name, Budget provides affordable van rental options for those looking to save money without sacrificing quality. They offer 7- and 12-passenger vans, ideal for family trips and group travel.
Alamo Rent-A-Car: Alamo is a great choice for international travelers, with a wide range of van rental options. They offer quick check-in services and have a reputation for providing clean, comfortable vehicles.
National Car Rental: National caters to business travelers and those who prefer a premium rental experience. Their selection of luxury vans and passenger vans is perfect for those needing extra comfort or high-end features.
Things to Consider When Renting a Van at DFW Airport

Not to worry bestie! I always enjoy visiting Resend included below in quotes.
So glad youre on board to rant on this lol. Jesus, years of drone spying at major tourneys? Such brazen cheating, its absolutely mad stuff!! Part of me is glad they got caught doing it on the Kiwis simply because yeah that a pretty embarrassing side to be found going ops on. Ive always haaated Canada WNT so honestly right now w all their players Im the ~I'm supposed to feel sorry for that bitch? I don't!~ meme. Yes, do fuck off Korbin Albert! Also Emma Hayes, though I'll refrain from getting into my gripes w her for now. And Trin & Mal youre both stellar and gorgeous, but Im side eyeing w your politics.
One more fic thought - I love how true Stephie is as a mini Azzi in the sense that she runs shit in her entire world, because thats Princess IRL. But as someone who finds big brown eyes to be their biggest weakness, I totally get it 😅
“ Well hey bestie! Things good?
Ok so what if I told you I had to fly through there again in a little under two weeks? God/whoever help me ha. (And swear DFW just happens to be the best major connection for me traveling NW 🙈).
Ahh so glad youve seen SPRINT and enjoyed it too. I like to think my taste is great when it comes to sports docs. Counting down the days til the Opening ceremony etc!! USA lol
Dont know much about my twinner, but certain that I love the character 😅
Hey read Ch 3 and its wonderful (per usual)! Love when flashbacks tie back into/mirror the current moment. Also serious kudos to you for managing to write on a schedule 👏
Alright now. Update-back to our regularly scheduled programming: In short, apparently GA and Liz were at a wedding of one of Brooks daughters. Seen discourse of how there was no posting together or much apparent interaction at the event. Just one large group photo. (Of course who can say for sure just going off social and not being in attendance). But 🥶🫣
Take care! ” -☕️
LMAO well I do feel a little bad for their players, just cause their federation really fucked them over but listen I'mma support your pettiness either way. It's just insane shit honestly like it just keeps getting worse every day.
Oh yeah babes I definitely didn't get this ask so I'm glad you resent it.
My schedule is gonna collapse soon, I can already feel it but I'm so glad you've been liking the fic babes, means a lot ot me <3
OOOOH V-Tech drama, we're going back to our roots! That's so inchresting cause I'd have thought after the podcast, they would at least interact as friends even if they didn't post together but if they were distant (obvi we don't know for sure) that's quite intriguing though I guess it fits the lore.
