Zagłoba hugs!
Who would refuse Jan Onufry Zagłoba a hug?
Let's remind ourselves of three great Polish actors, playing him:
Krzysztof Kowalewski (1937-2021), starring in "Ogniem i mieczem" (1999)
Kazimierz Wichniarz (1915-1995), starring in "Potop" (1974)
Mieczysław Pawlikowski (1920-1978), starring in "Pan Wołodyjowski" & "Przygody Pana Michała" (1969)

Incidentally, by Quirk!Tokyo standards, Minato is a monster.
In the Ultra Analysis book, the second databook for MHA, he'd basically get this:
Power: 6/6 (Sage Mode, summons, etc.)
Speed: 7/6 (Faster than All Might)
Technique: 7/6 (VERY nasty space-time ninjutsu and fuinjutsu arsenal)
Intelligence: 6/6 (battlefield commander par excellance)
Cooperativeness: 7/6 (will teleport allies to safety and problems to enemies)
He doesn't hit hard enough to destroy cities in one go, but it's amazing how many potential opponents aren't immune to being fatally stabbed in the face.

Design for Deluge
Speedstream's loyal enforcer. A long-lost sister of the terrorcons and the monsterbots, she's a gentle giantess. She doesn't speak but elevates the voices of the unheard, always attentive and watching out for the interests of her friends. Her presence makes sure no one messes with the aquaspeeders
Tumblr media
Not that her allies know of this, but Deluge is one of the few living things born on the dead world of cybertron. Long ago, she spawned out of the sea of rust alongside Rippersnapper and Jurara and crawled towards the mainland to meet with the other mutated monsters that they call family, but Deluge was captured by junkion monster hunters and sold into captivity where she was held among other creatures for roughly 26 earth years until that operation was investigated by the autobots and she was freed by the young, inexperienced and unsupervised Speedstream alongside every other captured creature. Who then proceeded to rip each other to shreds, both endangering Speedstream and forever traumatizing her with the consequences of lax leadership. But rather than watch in fear as the only people that had shown her kindness were torn to pieces, Deluge protected the autobots with her bulk and aided in pacifying her roommates
In the aftermath, the autobots didn't know what she was, but it was clear she wasn't an animal like the others and that she deserved to live among people, feeling guilty for releasing the animals when she was told not to, Speedstream offered to take her in. Even if she couldn't talk, Deluge was able to express that she was charmed by the sweaty little thing. And Deluge watched as Speedstream grew into a competent little leader. If a bit uptight, the two are profoundly close friends and will always have each other's interests in mind. To the point Deluge rarely even thinks of that family she never met and never came looking for her
On earth, she acts as cleanup and muscle for when speedstream and aquafend can't get something done. The sight of her presence in a battlefield is a horrifying thing to wittness as nothing that big should be able to move that fast. She's incredibly agile and powerful thanks to her hydrokinesis. Moving inside a massive bubble of water to wash over all her prey and provide safety for her allies inside the eye of the storm.

Prompt 14: Deluge (a severe flood)
The Archangel Uriel, trying to avoid the rising waters of the Great Flood in Eden.
Genesis 7:4
Genesis 7:10-12
(Further lore and rambling below the cut)
Another traumatic and life-altering moment for a member of the heavenly host, yay!!!
Uriel, having been stationed as the guardsman of Eden, and isolated from pretty much everyone, was not made aware of God's plan to flood the earth (not the entire earth in my version, just a bunch of Africa, Europe, and Asia). As the rivers raced past their banks, as the churning waves took away trees, as creatures of all kinds suffocated under the water, Uriel remained at his post. He had been told to stay in Eden until the Almighty said his watch was no longer needed, and he had not received any word since Adam and Eve. "Surely," he thought, "Surely they have not forgotten me?" And yet, the sky remained dark, the rains continued to fall, and Uriel had to climb higher and higher to avoid the waters below. No word from Heaven. Birds plummeted into the water from sheer exhaustion, fish choked on the floating debris. Thirty seven days into the forty day downpour, as the final treetop was engulfed, Uriel finally abandoned the destroyed Eden. He arrived in Heaven, drenched and panicked. His siblings had been watching Noah and his family, and the lower ranking angels had been guiding the floodwaters. "Surely," he said, "Surely you did not forget me?" The heavenly host had no answer. Uriel never saw his people the same again.

50 lat temu do kin wszedł "Potop"!
youtube
"Potop" w reżyserii Jerzego Hoffmana wszedł do polskich kin 2 września 1974 roku | "The Deluge" (dir. Jerzy Hoffman) premiered on September the 2nd, 1974—50 years ago today
Klip z oblężenia Jasnej Góry, bo jest to moim zdaniem moment przełomowy całej narracji – jako całości, ale także wielu wątków z osobna.
The siege of Jasna Góra monastery was in my opinion the turning point of the whole story—both pertaining to the whole structure and to individual storylines.
This post was brought to you by @trylogia-po-prostu who reminded us all of the date ^^ thanks!
