If I send out a plea to the universe for people to send me asks about anything, would they do it?

Like, I'm Good Omens fangirling again in prep for S2, RTC is always swimming back and forth in my brain, anything Star Trek is a goldmine, Red Dwarf is my cosiest, oldest and bestest friend, Blackadder and asdfmovie are some of the most quotable things I know, BBC and CBS Ghosts are both right up my alley (I do need to finish S2 of CBS tho 😬) I mean c'mon Mat Baynton is gonna be in a new film about Willy Wonka with loads of cool people.

I like many much musics. All the musics! I'm a musical enthusiast, yell at me about Legally Blonde or Wind in the Willows or even DEH and BMC! Phantom of the Opera I had to analyse for Drama, I keep going back to the songs from Les Mis.

Favourite book I've read? Favourite author? Favourite song or colour or anything really!

Yes I'm bored, I want something to do. I would ask for fics to write but that's a whole other slew of things.

Hey! I wish you well. I don't have a lot of experience with sending requests, but I really liked 10:45am. Do you have any intentions of making a sequence? If you do, would you mind tagging me? I just started reading Haikyuu × Reader content again, and Yamaguchi has always been my favourite (and it's always a bit difficult to find real gender neutral content for him) so 10:45am is just so sweet and cute. I'd love to see more of it.

omg, Hunter! This is so sweet. Thank you for the note. I used to be much more involved in the hq fandom and actually recently sort of started posting my little writings again, so I really miss interacting with people and this note was such a welcome surprise! I ended up writing kind of a long explanation/series of thoughts in response so im gonna put a read more just to be respectful of the dash lol

I'm glad you like the gn reader - I do really try to do that and I'm so glad it was a positive side of the ficlet for you. Sometimes I slip up because I'm usually just inserting myself - ha ha - but with all my newer fics I do really try hard not to overly gender the reader!!!

I didn't have any intention of continuing on that particular piece, but I am going through a yamaguchi phase so might end up writing more for him in general. I do have a longer fic or potentially a series in mind that focuses on yamaguchi x reader over the course of a long road trip, with tsukki as reader's ex, so some similar themes there. also, I drafted and never finished a longer fic/series with a slightly similar situation to 10:45am, but with Suna (idk if you like him but if you liked the general situation it might appeal), and I am debating on whether or not to post some of that to my blog even if I end up never finishing it lol.

right now I am knee deep in writing a very long deh fanfic so I am not really sure if any of my longer hq fic ideas will come to fruition anytime soon, but if there are any other characters or situations you like let me know and I may have a drabble in my drafts - I feel like I'm probably more inclined right now to write short hq things than a longer, more involved fic, just since I'm already wayyyyy on that for my deh fic lol. here is my mini masterlist of hq ficlets (not updated since like last year lol before I started writing again for hq again recently), but you may want to give it a look and see if there are other boys you like - at some point i started to get into writing for boys that I felt were sort of underrated/random, so there might be something that catches your eye. let me know your thoughts bc I have never really taken requests but I'd be open to giving it a try sometime hahaha! but like I said I've had yamaguchi massively on the brain lately, so if you want I can also tag you in other random things I end up writing for him if you want! thank you so much for the message this was so sweet and I'm so glad you liked the piece :) <3

if anyone wondered where my fics on ao3 went, I got this email about basically all of my fics except for one. fics affected included my 10k college au for mysmes, my self care mysmes fic, my figure skating au fic gift and a deh fic, along with my other mysmes fics (yoosung based). idrk what to do besides file a complaint but idk if i filed right and how long it will take to possibly get them restored. it might have been from a few fics having external links to like, my tumblr or tip jar, idk…or lyrics as titles but? idk. im going to back my fics up on my blog if i can/haven’t.

a lot of my work was about helping readers in fandoms mental health by reading about their favs helping them through tough times and i wrote most of my fics during one of the worst years of my life. please check my writing list if you or a friend needs a new link to my fic (comments and asks appreciated)

Helloooo I’m being somewhat active on this blog for the first time in ages and some things have changed so I’d just like to say hi👋 I’m Sara (or whatever) and this is my musical theater (theatre?) sideblog. I’m a full-time undergraduate student in linguistics and Spanish, and I’m not a theater kid but I’ve played the French horn for over 10 years. My favorite shows are in my bio, but I’m here again bc the Newsies special interest reared its head a few weeks ago and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it, so here we are. I enjoy music (obv lol), writing, fiber crafts, and watching YouTube.

I’ve had this blog since late 2017 (though I’ve been on tumblr regularly since 2012) and I was somewhat active in the Hamilton, DEH, and BMC fandoms at their most toxic, so if you recognize me (or, God forbid, my ORIGINAL main blog, @enterthefangirl ), that’s probably why. I have published two (2) entire fics on ao3 and they’re both about musicals and link to this blog but I never promoted them here, so if that’s how you found me, congratulations, you did way more work than I expected you to.

Wooo okay so a lot to talk about here

Y’all can call me Orange, she/her/hers, and I write SFW tickle fic blogs. Sometimes I may deviate and write other stuff if I’m feeling inspired to, but the main point is tickle fics.

I attempted to get started on this site a while back, but due to life and busy-ness I just had no time. So, here I am now. I’m still busy, but we’re trying lol.

Before I go into everything else, I would like to ask that NSFW PEOPLE DO NOT INTERACT. I’m not a minor, but I’m not in this community for that stuff, so I’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t interact.

Also, I am a human being, and while I love tickling and this community, you can interact with me about other stuff - I have hobbies: drawing, video games, I know a ton of dog facts and love dogs, I read, I watch Netflix etc. Please, when you first interact, I appreciate getting to know people, yknow?

Okay. Now that that’s out of the way, I’d like to talk about the way I organize my blog. If you made it this far, great! Hello! Some people on this site like to have their fanfic lengths coded, and I like this idea so here it is:

Blood Orange: Very Long, or multiple parts

It’s a fun little way to organize in keeping with my tag, @laughterisorange. If you want me to write something, give me an ask for the characters and series I write for, specifics if you want it, and a length. I’ll get to it as soon as I can!

I also write for myself, so you’ll see fics that pop up without an ask too!

DEH Master Post

Since I’ve revamped my blog, I thought I should do a master post of my Dear Evan Hansen fics for anyone interested in reading them. I have seven on AO3 right now; six of them are romances featuring Evan and Connor, but the other one is a character study of Connor and his sister, Zoe. 

For those unfamiliar with DEH, let me preface by saying all the characters are dealing with trauma and mental health issues. And not necessarily in a healthy way, either. But that is what is so great about them. They are raw and working them through their issues is cathartic. In other words: mind the tags. I put them there for a reason.

In every one of my stories for this fandom, you will find large pieces of me in my main protagonists, Connor and Evan. If you know me well enough, you’ll find them faster than Bernie Sanders in a Where’s Waldo scene. Not that it really matters, but my ability to relate to the characters so viscerally is what led me to write for them, in the first place. 

I will list the stories under the cut since this will likely get long. 

The one that started it all. A bit of background: I wrote it hoping it would work the itch for these two out of my system, but when it was finished even I was amazed by how fucking good it was. I couldn’t resist dipping my toes in a new fandom, so I anxiously posted it and went about my life. Only to find IT EXPLODED OVERNIGHT. It’s been up for four months and is already nearing 1,000 hits. I’m still blown away by the response. I love everyone who bothers to read them!

Summary: Evan ends up at a house party the summer after junior year. As a kid with social anxiety this was probably not a smart move, but even he had no idea how much could simultaneously go wrong and right in one night. 

Part 2 of the series the above story started, this fic focuses on a day in the life of the boys and their fledgling relationship. It’s tropey as hell and syrupy sweet (as all summer fics should be) and includes the boy’s first smut scene. 

Part 3 is a bit darker. For those who are at least somewhat familiar with canon, this is the tree Evan breaks his arm from in the book/musical. It’s full of intrusive thoughts and depressed boys struggling to communicate without their brains and pride getting in the way. Don’t worry, there is a happy ending since I’ve never been one to adhere to canon. 

Rarely do I fall for the hype of writing stories simply to coincide with a holiday, but Halloween is my favorite and I couldn’t resist. All Of Life’s A Choice is gritty and graphic, but honestly, those of you who know my work from DA shouldn’t be surprised. I don’t shy away from horror themes or visceral descriptions. It’s also a Lamborghini in disguise with super fast plot development because it’s a one shot. I didn’t feel like dragging shit out longer than necessary. 

This one is a 5 times Evan didn’t tell his best friend/roommate he loved him and the 1 time he did fics. It was a new format for me, but I really enjoyed writing it. I aged up the guys a little in this one too, which was a lot of fun. It’s rife with poetry, and purple prose, and so much goddamn pining. So if you like literary tropes and mutually pining idiots, this one is for you.

Ahhh, the soulmate flower AU I always said I’d never write and then did. And holy shit, it’s probably one of my best stories ever written. This is angsty, yet soft, with enough floral symbolism to choke a person. The fan-base is already clamoring for a sequel and they just might get it. 💐

Rec Blogs and Group Chats

Rec Blogs are an important part of every fandom. They help navigate hard-to-find ships, and usually have helpful tips and tricks scattered in between. To my knowledge, there are different kinds of rec blogs. There are Ship Rec Blogs, or rec blogs that focus on a specific ship, such as the  Then there are whole-fandom rec blogs. Now, I haven’t been able to find any of the whole fandom blogs, but I’ve heard a few people say that they do, in fact, exist. 

Ship Rec blogs are more popular, because it focuses on one thing and is usually easier to find what you’re looking for. I wish I could tell you exactly where to find them, but the truth is that I don’t know myself. 

HOWEVER

If you have the mobile app! There is a feature that makes group chats available! There are so many different ship-based group chats on the app, and it’s easier because you aren’t waiting for someone to hopefully answer the ask you send. It’s extremely easy to find them, and you can literally just type the ship name into the Tumblr search and at least a few group chats should pop up. 

For example, there is a group chat called DEH Shipping Safeplace for all the Dear Evan Hansen fansens. They don’t always talk daily, but if you text it, you are more likely to get an answer than you would be sending an ask to a rec blog.

That’s not to say that rec blogs don’t work or aren’t important. On the contrary, they help immensely. To give a good example, The Wolfstar Librarian (@wolfstarlibrarian ) has separate lists for their different genres, and is pretty consistent in answering fic recs from others. (I use their library quite often.)

It’s up to you what to use to find your fics, but it’s always good to know you have options, right?

TL;DR: Rec blogs and group chats (mobile app only) are really great for finding what specific fic you’re craving.
