2K17, A Review

There's something inherently rewarding about making these kinds of posts, so I figured I'd give it a try!

Trying to decide what's worth including turned out to be unexpectedly difficult, since like 90% of my original content is made up of meme answers and/or headcanons, so in the end I just went with it and put it all in. :p That's not to say I have particular expectations of anyone reading them all, but Done is Done.

First some personal fandom experiences and achievements!

The great thing is, this year essentially started and ended with a Les Mis experience: I saw the musical on the stage for the first time in January, when visiting @shellcollector in London. We had some fun with cosplay - in my part as a very anachronistic Prouvaire, because absurdly meta level nerdery is the best nerdery. Also it gave me an excuse to wear a cape. The second time I saw Les Mis was just before Christmas, this time in Tartu. I wrote way too much about it, but hey, pictures.

For the ultimate level of nerdery, while visitng London, the bunch of us also found time to "visit" School of Life and make our feelings known, re: Grand War of Romanticism vs Classicism...

I also started a sideblog for collecting posts about architecture, landscapes and general Feelings About Physical Spaces (plus various other nonsense that fits less into the context of this blog).

(Outside the fandom life, I moved twice, dealt with too much Jobs Nonsense and went back to Uni, so that's like several adulting achievements unlocked, I guess...?)
