I am once again here to ask about Darby Anderson. Or, more specifically, her and Terry. Do they get along well? Any fun hobbies they share or things they do together? What's it like for her having an adoptive dad? I think I remember him being her biological uncle, right?

(Also, I read the lyrics to Things We Lost in the Fire and hoo boy (/positive). Terry's a firefighter, right? Aughh, my brain wants to know the in-depth meaning behind the lyrics. Auughhhh. Darby what happened to youuuuu?!?!?!?!)

okay so with her and terry you are correct that he is her biological uncle and had to take her in. terry and darby's relationship is a bit distant in some ways?? but darby does love him and terry treats her well and as his own too, as a good uncle would. but due to terry's work, which is a firefighter, darby and him don't often get family time together so darby ends up seeking company elsewhere, both at her part time job and with ruben who she looks after for free for ruben's mom, sally, since sally often is at work too to support ruben as a single mom. though darby doesn't mind since she knew ruben since he was little. darby also goes to the skatepark and hangs out with the kids from the castle + halsden's daughter natia who she met at school and her place of work, the 'Upside Café.'

but yeah terry and darby sometimes are at odds due to darby's teenage angst but in the end they're kinda all each other has.
