can we talk about the fact that the host venom was in before eddie was maria? the woman eddie knew and was kind to in front of ms chens's?

that venom probably read her most recent memories and saw eddie before they ever bonded?

saw his kindness towards people who might be outsiders, when venom himself felt that way?

do you think venom recognized eddie as a kindred spirit, a potential match? and that's partly why he and maria got eddies attention?
