Happy December everyone!!

This year I've prepared something new for my art blog. Anyone heard of open species? The idea is one artist comes up with a basic critter design, then allows other artists to design their own, which they can do for free so long as they let the original species creator know. In this case we have artist Suncix's species the tiny imps known as Ikytomos!! These are all owned by different people so I'll be giving credit to those who own the characters I've drawn.

The finished custom design + alt for somniumastra (bluesky) !! Really happy with how they came out 83 !! The chain mail took a lot out of me but I think it was worth it in the end!! Will definitely have to keep playing around to see how I want to draw it in the future though for sure

- select a base sketch & send me a description prompt for your new character! this can be a general palette, pattern design, a few keywords or their entire backstory! Small base edits can be made (fur length, breed, scars etc - just ask! feline only)

- one design per person. client will receive the full finished artwork with a layered .PSD and transparent .PNG that are reference sheet ready & can be used for icons/profiles etc
