The Life of The Prophet Muhammad(pbuh): His Youth, Trade Life, His marriage to Hazrat Khadijah
The Kaaba is Restored and the Prophet Acts as a Judge
The Master of the Universe (PBUH) was 35 years old.
During this time, the Quraysh had decided to tear down the Kaaba’s walls so they could renew them. Nevertheless, the floods that resulted from years of pouring rain had corroded this structure that was not sturdy to begin with. Since the Kaaba was roofless at the time, the rains had affected its base and caused the building to crumble.
The last great flood had eroded the Kaaba completely. This condition had awoken feelings of fear and worry in the Meccans.
In the meantime, another incident took place; a woman lit a fire in the temple mount (Harem). The jolting sparks from the ember caught the Kaaba’s curtain and caused it to burn.
And when a treasure from the Kaaba was stolen, the Meccans were determined to execute their plan immediately.
A Ship Loaded with Construction Materials
The Qurayshis were consulting with one another on which materials they should use to reconstruct the Kaaba.
In the meantime, a Byzantian ship that had set sail from Egypt to Jeddah was found stranded in a location that was close to its destination.
The Quraysh sent a committee to the ship’s spot upon hearing this news. The ship was loaded with soft white stone, wood, beams, and steel; they were materials that the Quraysh had been looking for and had not been able to find till then.
The committee reached an agreement with those on the ship and purchased the timber from them. In addition, they guaranteed the merchant on the ship that he would be able to freely enter Mecca and sell his goods without having to pay tariffs since the Meccans used to collect tithes from those who sold trade goods in their city.
Furthermore, a Byzantine architect by the name of Bakum was found on the ship and they reached an agreement that he would reconstruct the Kaaba. According to these terms, Bakum would reconstruct the Kaaba’s walls, and a craftsman, who lived in Mecca and was of Coptic descent, would be involved with the carpentry.
The Apportionment of the Walls
The reconstruction of the walls of the Kaaba was divided among four tribes through drawing lots. According to this, Abd-Manaf and the Sons of Zuhra would have the Kaaba’s front and its side with the door; Abduddar, Asad and the Sons of Adiy would have the side facing Damascus (the side of Hijir, Hatym); Sham, Jahm (Jumah), and the Sons of Amir would have the space in between the Yemen corner and the corner where the Hajarul Aswad would be placed; Mahzum and the sons of Taym were given the construction of the Yemen side which was adjacent to Safa and Aryad.
The Shaking of Mecca
Every tribe demolished their designated side. They descended all the way down to where Hazrat Ibrahim laid the foundations. At that point, they saw green stones which had all been fused with one another.
Their intention was to go further down; however, they were unsuccessful. When someone shook these green stones while trying to extract them, they all suddenly saw Mecca shaking as if it were experiencing an earthquake. Everyone began to panic and got scared. Afterwards, they understood that they were not allowed to dig further; thus, they were content with what they had excavated.
The Tribes Disagree
Everyone was carrying rocks and putting up walls for their designated side. The building had risen all the way to where the Hajaru-l-Aswad was going to be placed. However, a disagreement broke out because each tribe wanted to position this holy stone in its place. Every tribe believed that they were most deserving in this matter. At a time in which every tribe was a bigot, which tribe would want another to get this honor? The issue escalated; the arguments and the controversy hardened so much that they swore they would fight one another.
There was a chaos and a clash was expected to take place at any minute. If a clash was to take place, then many people would lose their lives and many commodities would perish.
A solution had to be found.
The Qurayshi tribes waited for four to five days without putting a single stone into the Kaaba’s walls. Afterwards, they gathered at the Masjid Haram (Mosque) once again. They spoke and argued with one another.
During this time, there were some individuals who suggested that the tribes compromise/reconcile.
The Offer that Secures a Compromise!
While a bloody battle was expected to break out at any moment, Huzayfa bin Mughira, who was a well-known individual, one of the oldest men in the Quraysh, and known as Abu Umayya, proposed the following solution:
“Oh, Qurayshis! Appoint the first person who comes through this door (he pointed to the Bani Shayba’s door) as the judge in this disputed matter so that he can bring an end to this.”
The tribes accepted Abu Umayya’s unexpected proposal without hesitation.
“Muhammad-The Trustworthy and Faithful One- Was Coming!
All eyes were now on the door of Bani Shayba.
Who was going to come and how was this dispute going to be solved? How was this going to be settled without hurting any of the tribes’ feelings?
Everyone’s gazes were filled with curiosity as they looked attentively towards the Mosque’s aforementioned door.
Somebody is seen at the gate!
They immediately noticed and recognized his unique height, build, and dignified walk from afar and shouted with happiness: “He is Muhammad, the Trustworthy One! We will agree with and consent to his ruling.”
Yes, he was Muhammad-al –Amin (Muhammad-The Trustworthy, the Faithful One). He was an honest individual who had earned everyone’s trust.
For this reason, the glances that were filled with curiosity were immediately transformed into looks of happiness because they were all undoubtedly certain that he would issue a fair decision.
Of course, the arrival of our Master (PBUH), who never stumbled in making the most appropriate decision, was not a coincidence. He would affirm his ability to think deeply, before his Prophethood, with the ruling that he was about to give.
The Quraysh explained the situation to him.
Our Master’s (PBUH) mind was as clear and clean as his heart was. He did not delay in providing an appropriate answer; he issued an order:
“Quickly bring me a cloth!”
hey immediately brought one and according to a narration, this cloth was Walid bin Mughira’s garment. According to another narration, our Holy Prophet (PBUH) used his own rida in this situation.
The Master of the Universe (PBUH) spread this cloth out on the ground.
Everyone’s stares, from young to old, were focused on our Holy Prophet (PBUH). What was he going to do with that cloth?
Their curiosity did not last long. Our Beloved Prophet (PBUH) placed the Hajaru-l-Aswad on the middle of this cloth and said, “Have someone from each tribe hold a corner of this cloth!”
They followed directions and lifted the cloth that was holding the Hajaru-l-Aswad to the location where the latter was to be placed.
Our Holy Prophet (PBUH) then fulfilled this honor by placing the Hajaru-l-Aswad in its place with his own hands.
Afterwards, they began building the wall and completed it within a short time.
With his decision, which was a work of Divine benefaction, Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) was able to prevent a bloody battle from taking place among the tribes.
With this decision, our Beloved Prophet (PBUH) proved that he had a more well-directed point of view, a stronger sense of judgment, and a higher intelligence (that was excessive) than those who were much older and experienced than him and that he testified to a Divine power.
According to Hazrat Ibn-I Abbas’s narration, our Holy Prophet (PBUH) placed the Hajaru-l-Aswad in its location on a Monday.
THE PROPHET SUMMONS HAZRAT ALI
The Master of Masters (PBUH) was 36 years old.
It was 607 AD.
A harsh drought and famine began to appear in Mecca.
Most families were in a miserable state as they were struggling to get by and Abu Talib’s family was one of them.
Our Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) heart was like a fountain of compassion and mercy. He never forgot favors that were done for him. He never wanted to leave appreciation that had been shown to him unrequited; he possessed such a beautiful and incomparable nature.
Now, there was somebody who was having difficulty with his livelihood. Someone who did everything he could to help our Holy Prophet (PBUH)… someone whose compassionate wings our Holy Prophet (PBUH) had been under since his childhood: Abu Talib….
How could he be comfortable and not help his uncle who was having difficulty in earning a living?
He immediately took action. He ran to his other uncle, Hazrat Abbas, who was well-off, and described the situation to him. He explained that it was necessary for them to extend their helping hands to Abu Talib, who was writhing in hardship so that they could reduce his burdens even if it was in a very small amount.
Hazrat Abbas happily accepted our Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) offer and they both went to see Abu Talib.
Their aim was to slightly reduce the number of the many individuals in his home; at least, they would lift some of the custodial responsibilities from his shoulders.
Abu Talib was pleased when they informed him of their intention. Our Holy Prophet (PBUH) took Hazrat Ali (who he had named himself), and Hazrat Abbas took Hazrat Jafar under protection.
At that time, Hazrat Ali was either four or five years old. At this age, it was an incomparable privilege for him to be under the custody of the Master of the Universe who decreed, “I have been sent to perfect good manners”. From that day forward, he would be disciplined by our Holy Prophet (PBUH) and would immediately believe in Allah when he was invited. At the age of nine or ten, Hazrat Ali had attained the honor of being the first child to become a Muslim.

The long haul
With five days with no land Rhondda had little faith in my patience but I have proven her incorrect. Haha. Well so far that is.
First day we got to experience the “ crossing of the equator” which while a good laugh I just feel sorry for the poor bastards trying to get the chocolate, flower and tomato sauce out of their hair.
If you want to get a deck chair in the shade, a priority for us, you have to have claimed a chair by 7am at the latest. This is accomplished when I do my 5am top deck walk allowing us to sit in shade all day.
Keeping up my steps is a challenge but so far so good. As today is Friday we are not drinking until 4pm, keeping in line with our normal Friday nights. A few of the people we have befriended started very early so I guess we will be meeting newer friends this evening. Haha
The food on the ship is okay as long as you stay away from the beef. The drinks are relatively cheap (package) while the coffee is very strong and served in worlds smallest cups. Life is good and Rhondda is getting to catch up on her reading.
Day two and three at sea saw us with light curfews on outside decks
from dusk until dawn with all outside areas locked down and curtains pulled shut. This apparently is a safety measure due to threat of pirates as we sail along the Somalia coast line. Laughed at first until you saw the armed guards patrolling the upper decks. These guys had massive weapons so I guess a lot more serious then we had imagined.
The entertainment has been good with the cruise ship dancers amazing. A Brazilian couple have to be the best we have ever seen. They just seem to fly. Not so keen on the sand drawing lady. Yes a skill but not entertainment worth being on the cruise ship but each to their own.
All in all though this has been a great time out for us both with lots of nanny naps mixed with learning to play Monopoly with cards. Hard to understand at first but once you learn the rules it is a huge laugh with lots of strategies involved. Given I am only person who has won two games straight I am claiming to be world champion. Hahaha so far there are only eight players on board we are aware of.
Finally we landed at Jeddah but we had elected not to leave the ship as getting a visa just simply to hard. The city from the ship looks quite modern but with Ramadan taking place nothing was open from dawn to dusk with most tourist attractions closed. Saved our money big time.
Back on board another day at sea saw us join a lot of Aussies in the Irish bar where an African musician played “pub with no beer” which excited everyone to where the bar quickly became choked with dancing and laughter. One of our fellow travellers, Kylie (youngest at 48 on tour) led the way and this was one of the best nights we have had. Old style pub music with everyone letting their hair down.
The next morning was a different story with massive winds making it impossible for the ship to dock so those who were intending to do the “valley of the kings” tour forced to miss out. This was a 14 hour tour so a lot of unhappy people.
Currently as I write this we are sitting downstairs just chilling out. Hopefully we will post this story in our next port of call.

We are only a few days away from This man’s concert and aside from the announcement there’s been no promotion, no bts footage hyping up people, nothing. It’s like he doesn’t even care…So, it got me thinking and doing some digging and I think there’s trouble in paradise between our twin flames, so buckle up because I dug DEEP lol!
Apparently, miss Jules’ show is all about loss and grief and regrets but yet finding the will to push forward and continue smiling or whatever, but there’s surprisingly no mention of being appreciative of long time friends or finding love unexpectedly. Which, would’ve been the perfect time, IMO, to throw in a little nugget of speculation: people would’ve ate that shit up AND there would’ve been buzz around her, which is her whole purpose in life.
Then, there’s the fact that she flew to Jeddah around the same time that Freddy got married. Think about it, this woman is preparing her first BIG show (her words) and she flies abroad for 48hrs to a festival that was full of has-beens (no offense, but I don’t remember the last time I heard anyone mention the name of Sharon Stone) right in the middle of all this prepping. Now, this could be a huge coincidence but it’s kinda sus that she flies away seemingly on a whim and This man is nowhere to be seen on the wedding pictures and doesn’t post ANYTHING about it, so much so that we’re not even sure he went!
And then there’s yesterday’s mysterious ig story. After her first super duper show, miss Jules posts a quote about how sometimes second chances are just patterns of behaviour if there’s no change or some bs, I think implying that sometimes you shouldn’t give second chances (so wise!).
Could this be about Ben? I mean realistically it could be about anything or anyone, but what if she’s a bit cross with him because she expected to go to the wedding as his +1 and being the spineless idiot that he is cancelled on her last minute. This would explain why she up and left to the festival if she was already planning on being out of NYC around that time.
Sorry for the super long analysis! I’m currently waiting at the doctor’s office and had some time to kill haha! Hope you’re doing well💕
Well this is something xd i struggle to engage with any ifs and whatnots about bulianne anymore lol but maaaaybe?
Yeeee like them tickets sold out so he needs not to promote shite lol told ye all that he's SO SO SO bad at the game. Like sold out is cool but there are MAJORITY of peeps who are yer fans and they are not going and we'll the overall rest of the world? Anyways, ma updates muffin said that the lady who will be performing with him, Elizabeth I wanna say???, was posting about the gig over the weekend and tagging him too lol
The other thing... So it's about regrets, grief and shite? Well I was told she been shaking her ass on a bar in see through curtains?? That's interesting ngl. Probably too deep for me to grasp and understand.
And the last thing, the spineless idiot as ye lovingly nicknamed him, I still doubt he been to the wedding at all. Especially with any +1 ever in mind/planned.
Idk, me thinks both of them went to them parties cuz they got paid. Dunno who exactly paid them and why in gods name them two losers but well...

Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Surah Al-Baqarah Ayah 126-128
Part 3
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
126. And (remember) when Ibrahim said, "My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day.''
He (Allah) answered: "As for him who disbelieves, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the torment of the Fire, and worst indeed is that destination!''
127. And (remember) when Ibrahim and (his son) Ismail were raising the foundations of the House (the Ka`bah at Makkah), (saying), "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily, You are the Hearer, the Knower.''
128. "Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our Manasik, and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.
The Story of rebuilding the House by Quraysh before the Messenger of Allah was sent as Prophet
In his Sirah, Muhammad bin Ishaq bin Yasar said,
"When the Messenger of Allah reached thirty-five years of age, the Quraysh gathered to rebuild the Ka`bah, this included covering it with a roof. However, they were weary of demolishing it. During that time, the Ka`bah was barely above a man's shoulder, so they wanted to raise its height and build a ceiling on top.
Some people had stolen the Ka`bah's treasure beforehand, which used to be in a well in the middle of the Ka`bah. The treasure was later found with a man called, Duwayk, a freed servant of Bani Mulayh bin `Amr, from the tribe of Khuza`ah. The Quraysh cut off his hand as punishment. Some people claimed that those who actually stole the treasure left it with Duwayk.
Afterwards, the sea brought a ship that belonged to a Roman merchant to the shores of Jeddah, where it washed-up. So they collected the ship's wood to use it for the Ka`bah's ceiling; a Coptic carpenter in Makkah prepared what they needed for the job. When they decided to begin the demolition process to rebuild the House, Abu Wahb bin Amr bin A'idh bin Abd bin Imran bin Makhzum took a stone from the Ka`bah; the stone slipped from his hand and went back to where it had been.
He said, `O people of Quraysh! Do not spend on rebuilding the House, except from what was earned from pure sources. No money earned from a prostitute, usury or injustice should be included.'''
Ibn Ishaq commented here that the people also attribute these words to Al-Walid bin Al-Mughirah bin Abdullah bin Amr bin Makhzum.
Ibn Ishaq continued,
"The Quraysh began to organize their efforts to rebuild the Ka`bah, each sub tribe taking the responsibility of rebuilding a designated part of it.
However, they were still weary about bringing down the Ka`bah. Al-Walid bin Al-Mughirah said, `I will start to bring it down.' He held an ax and stood by the Ka`bah and said, `O Allah! No harm is meant. O Allah! We only seek to do a good service.' He then started to chop the House's stones.
The people waited that night and said, `We will wait and see. If something strikes him, we will not bring it down and instead rebuild it the way it was. If nothing happens to him, then Allah will have agreed to what we are doing.'
The next morning, Al-Walid went to work on the Ka`bah, and the people started bringing the Ka`bah down with him. When they reached the foundations that Ibrahim built, they uncovered green stones that were above each other, just like a pile of spears.''
Ibn Ishaq then said that some people told him,
"A man from Quraysh, who was helping rebuild the Ka`bah, placed the shovel between two of these stones to pull them up; when one of the stones was moved, all of Makkah shook, so they did not dig up these stones.''
The Dispute regarding Who should place the Black Stone in Its Place
Ibn Ishaq said,
"The tribes of Quraysh collected stones to rebuild the House, each tribe collecting on their own. They started rebuilding it, until the rebuilding of the Ka`bah reached the point where the Black Stone was to be placed in its designated site.
A dispute erupted between the various tribes of Quraysh, each seeking the honor of placing the Black Stone for their own tribe. The dispute almost led to violence between the leaders of Quraysh in the area of the Sacred House.
Banu Abd Ad-Dar and Banu Adi bin Ka`b bin Lu'ay, gave their mutual pledge to fight until death. However, five or four days later, Abu Umayyah bin Al-Mughirah bin Abdullah bin Amr bin Makhzum, the oldest man from Quraysh then intervened at the right moment. Abu Umayyah suggested that Quraysh should appoint the first man to enter the House from its entrance to be a mediator between them. They agreed.
The Messenger - Muhammad - was the first person to enter the House. When the various leaders of Quraysh realized who the first one was, they all proclaimed, `This is Al-Amin (the Honest one). We all accept him; This is Muhammad.'
When the Prophet reached the area where the leaders were gathering and they informed him about their dispute, he asked them to bring a garment and place it on the ground. He placed the Black Stone on it. He then requested that each of the leaders of Quraysh hold the garment from one side and all participate in lifting the Black Stone, moving it to its designated area. Next, the Prophet carried the Black Stone by himself and placed it in its designated position and built around it. The Quraysh used to call the Messenger of Allah `Al-Amin' even before the revelation came to him.''
Ibn Az-Zubayr rebuilds Al-Ka`bah the way the Prophet wished
Ibn Ishaq said,
"During the time of the Prophet, the Ka`bah was eighteen cubits high and was covered with Egyptian linen, and they with a striped garment.
Al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf was the first person to cover it with silk.''
The Ka`bah remained the same way the Quraysh rebuilt it, until it was burned during the reign of Abdullah bin Az-Zubayr, after the year 6o H, at the end of the reign of Yazid bin Muawiyah.
During that time, Ibn Az-Zubayr was besieged at Makkah. When it was burned, Ibn Az-Zubayr brought the Ka`bah down and built it upon the foundations of Ibrahim, including the Hijr in it. He also made an eastern door and a western door in the Ka`bah and placed them on ground level. He had heard his aunt Aishah, the Mother of the believers, narrate that the Messenger of Allah had wished that.
The Ka`bah remained like this throughout his reign, until Al-Hajjaj killed Ibn Az-Zubayr and then rebuilt it the way it was before, by the order of Abdul-Malik bin Marwan.
Muslim recorded that Ata said,
"The House was burnt during the reign of Yazid bin Muawiyah, when the people of Ash-Sham raided Makkah. Ibn Az-Zubayr did not touch the House until the people came for Hajj, for he wanted to incite them against the people of Ash-Sham. He said to them, `O people! Advise me regarding the Ka`bah, should we bring it down and rebuild it, or just repair the damage it sustained.'
Ibn Abbas said, `I have an opinion about this. You should rebuild the House the way it was when the people became Muslims. You should leave the stones that existed when the people became Muslims and when the Prophet was sent.'
Ibn Az-Zubayr said, `If the house of one of them gets burned, he will not be satisfied, until he rebuilds it. How about Allah's House I will invoke my Lord for three days and will then implement what I decide.'
When the three days had passed, he decided to bring the Ka`bah down. The people hesitated to bring it down, fearing that the first person to climb on the House would be struck down. A man went on top of the House and threw some stones down, and when the people saw that no harm touched him, they started doing the same. They brought the House down to ground level.
Ibn Az-Zubayr surrounded the site with curtains hanging from pillars, so that the House would be covered, until the building was erect.
Ibn Az-Zubayr then said, `I heard Aishah say that the Messenger of Allah said,
If it was not for the fact that the people have recently abandoned disbelief, and that I do not have enough money to spend on it, I would have included in the House five cubits from Al-Hijr and would have made a door for it that people could enter from, and another door that they could exit from.
Ibn Az-Zubayr said, `I can spend on this job, and I do not fear the people.'
So he added five cubits from the Hijr, which looked like a rear part for the House that people could clearly see.
He then built the House and made it eighteen cubits high. He thought that the House was still short and added ten cubits in the front and built two doors in it, one as an entrance and another as an exit.
When Ibn Az-Zubayr was killed, Al-Hajjaj wrote to Abdul-Malik bin Marwan asking him about the House and told him that Ibn Az-Zubayr made a rear section for the House.
Abdul-Malik wrote back, `We do not agree with Ibn Az-Zubayr's actions. As, for the Ka`bah's height, leave it as it is. As for what he added from the Hijr, bring it down, and build the House as it was before and close the door.'
Therefore, Al-Hajjaj brought down the House and rebuilt it as it was.''
In his Sunan, An-Nasa'i collected the Hadith of the Prophet narrated from Aishah, not the whole story, The correct Sunnah conformed to Ibn Az-Zubayr's actions, because this was what the Prophet wished he could do, but feared that the hearts of the people who recently became Muslim could not bear rebuilding the House. This Sunnah was not clear to Abdul-Malik bin Marwan. Hence, when Abdul-Malik realized that Aishah had narrated the Hadith of the Messenger of Allah on this subject, he said, "I wish we had left it as Ibn Az-Zubayr had made it.''
Muslim recorded that Ubadydullah bin Ubayd said that Al-Harith bin Abdullah came to Abdul-Malik bin Marwan during his reign. Abdul-Malik said, `I did not think that Abu Khubayb (Ibn Az-Zubayr) heard from Aishah what he said he heard from her.'
Al-Harith said, `Yes he did. I heard the Hadith from her.'
Abdul-Malik said, `You heard her say what?'
He said, `She said that the Messenger of Allah said, Your people rebuilt the House smaller. Had it not been for the fact that your people are not far from the time of Shirk, I would add what was left outside of it. If your people afterwards think about rebuilding it, let me show you what they left out of it. He showed her around seven cubits.'
One of the narrators of the Hadith, Al-Walid bin Ata, added that the Prophet said, I would have made two doors for the House on ground level, one eastern and one western. Do you know why your people raised its door above ground level?
She said, `No.'
He said, To allow only those whom they wanted to enter it.
When a man whom they did not wish to enter the House climbed to the level of the door, they would push him down.
Abdul-Malik then said, `You heard Aishah say this Hadith?'
He said, `Yes.'
Abdul-Malik said, `I wish I left it as it was.''

Battered and Broken
Had to write out my feelings over what happened to Seth on Raw this week. What happened to him was too hard to just keep it in. Tagging: @queenofthearchitect @biforbecky2belts @writtingrose @mrsambroserollinsacklesmgk @mondaynightrollynch @theworldofotps
Tumblr media
You were backstage, Seth didn’t want you to come out with him when he went out to confront Corbin in the ring. Seth had been on edge for weeks since Lesnar won the Money in the Bank briefcase and with somewhat good reason. Seth had been cashed in on back in 2016 by Dean when he won the WWE championship back from Roman when he came back from his knee injury.
But now, you were helplessly watching as Lesnar brutalized your boyfriend in the ring with a chair. Each shot felt like he was stabbing your heart. The low blow he planted on Seth made your stomach turn and the F5 outside the ring made your heart drop into your stomach.
When Lesnar left the ring, Seth was lying in a heap in the middle of the ring. Since you were a trainer for the WWE, you took off running through the curtain and slid into the ring to check on Seth. You crawled over to him and took his face in your hands, checking to make sure that when he took the F5 outside the ring he didn’t get concussed as his face hit the floor.
“Hey I got you okay, babe,” you cooed quietly to him as you worked with the rest of the medical team along with Finlay and Jamie Noble, “We’re going to get you out of here okay.”
I dug into my pants pocket and slipping my gloves before I moved to check on the cuts on his back. I had to make sure they weren’t too deep before we moved him. The medics slid in the board for the stretcher so we could strap him down. Based on what I had seen, there was no way Seth was going to be able to walk out of here.
Once I was done checking his back, finding the cuts weren’t deep enough for him to need stitches, I got to work on securing the neck brace on Seth. He was groaning out in pain as we worked to stabilize him for his trip out of the arena and to the hospital to make sure he wasn’t seriously injure. Seth had been having problems with his back that he feared would cut his career short. He had neck surgery long before he joined WWE and knew that any further damage to his back could end his career prematurely.
“Alright we’re ready to get him on the board,” one of the medics said as he got the board closer to Seth. I stayed back as the two of them slid him onto the board, eliciting a loud groan to come from Seth. I helped strap him down before I got out of the ring.
It was as Seth was put on the stretcher that I noticed how quiet the arena had gotten. I glanced over to Renee and it looked like she was fighting tears as she strained to keep her composure. I knew she was hurting for us, fearing that Seth was in very bad shape. She was texting on her phone, no doubt telling Dean what was happening to Seth. He might not be in the WWE, but he was still good friends with all of us and would want to know if his is going to be okay or not.
When we got Seth backstage, we were greeted by every member of the locker room except for Lesnar and Heyman. They all stood off to the side, glum looks on their faces as they worried about Seth’s well-being. I shot a glare at Vince as he looked depressed.
“Vince he went into business for himself,” I shouted at him in passing, “I hope he gets punished for this.”
We didn’t stop for a moment as we finally made it to the ambulance to get Seth out to the arena. Hunter came over as the medics, Finlay, and Jamie worked on getting Seth loading into the back of the vehicle.
“You should go with him,” Hunter told me, “The other trainers can handle the rest of the work load tonight. Seth needs you more than they do. Keep me posted on his condition, okay.”
“Thanks Hunter,” I replied before I hugged him, “You’ll be the first to know of any updates once I get them.”
I climbed into the back of ambulance and we were off with the sirens blaring to the hospital. Seth stirred a little against the straps holding him down. I grabbed hold of his right hand, letting my tear finally fall now that there were no cameras on us.
“It hurts,” he groaned in just nothing but sheer pain.
“I know,” I spoke just above a whisper, my voice cracking from my tears, “This shouldn’t have happened tonight. Lesnar attacked with a shot loaded in the chamber. He did this on purpose. I’m going to help you get better, I promise.”
“Like last time,” he groaned out, struggling to breathe due to the pain in his back.
“Yeah, just like last time,” I reassured him, “When your knee was re-injured I made a promise to always be here to help you heal. And I don’t plan on breaking that promise anytime soon, babe.”
I leaned over and I placed a tender kiss onto his forehead before I began to stroke his hair, trying to get his mind off the pain he was feeling. His eyes were brimming in tears, sure from the pain but also from the embarrassment that the fighting Universal champion had to be wheeled out on a stretcher after being brutally attacked out of nowhere.
“I take it I’m missing Jeddah,” he asked.
“It’s hard to say,” I replied to him, “We won’t know until we get to the hospital and the doctors run tests on your back. My money is on you not being cleared to compete on Friday, but we will see soon enough.”
