Here is a brief Tag Team scene featuring young Curt Hennig playing Face-in-Peril to a pair of blond Heels known as "The Army" (Buddy Rose and Rip Oliver.)

The best thing about Curt's punishment and humiliation is the presence of his father, Larry "The Axe" Henning, his Tag Team partner. Big Daddy Hennig is forced to watch from outside the ropes as the blond bullies dominate and double-team his boy. They try to break his arm, kicking him like a rented mule. They eventually wipe him out with an illegal Two-on-One Shoulder Breaker. What humiliation -- to be owned and defeated like that right in front of your father, who is looking on with frustration and disappointment.

The ref pays careful attention to Larry Hennig, keeping the veteran outside the ropes in compliance with the rules. But somehow the ref doesn't see -- or doesn't bother calling out -- the blatant double-teaming by the cheating bastards! Meanwhile Mr. Hennig is fuming, like those Little League fathers who insist their golden boy should've been safe at first base.
