(also as a note this early on Anthea, the Lamb, just assumes the twins are biologically Narinder's kits. The twins aren't actually blood related to him, but the lamb just took one look that first meeting after execution and assumed 'Yeah those two are his' and went with it. He's the twins' dad regardless though lol)

34. What was his first impression of the lamb?

At first Chirin was very... wet eyed and despondent, so he wasn't entirely confident in them from the get go adlkdmkl but they eventually locked in at some point during their time getting through Darkwood and he gained a lot more confidence in them. They also became very amusing for him to watch (aside from their struggle through the Silk Cradle. that was just rough).

They did what they were told and responded well to praise so he really did think they would eventually give themself up willingly to him. Ah, well.
