The mission took longer than he expected. Retaking the energon mine from the Decepticons stretched on for what felt like an eternity, as the enemy kept calling in reinforcements. For every fallen Vehicon, two more would appear, alive and ready. The battle dragged on too long, completely draining the Autobotsā energy and morale. But they succeeded. For the first time in many months, they claimed victory, securing a steady supply of energon.
Optimus was the first to cross the ground bridge, praying to Primus that you were still in the base. Once inside, he transformed gracefully, though in haste, and headed toward the platform. The tension left him instantly when he saw you on the couch with a book in hand. He made a mental note to ask you about it later.
Despite his exhaustion, he managed a smile, mirroring your animated expression. Getting close enough to the platform, he leaned down and pressed the gentlest, most tender kiss on your head, pouring all his immense love for you into that single act. You giggled as his warm breath lightly tousled your hair, and Optimus listened to your laughter as if it were the most beautiful melody, composed just for him. Feeling playful, he blew gently once more so youād grace him with your laughter again.
The other team members paid no mind to the sweet scene, fully accustomed to your little exchanges of affection.
"Hello, my dearest," he murmured, still close to you. He didnāt want to leave your side. Ever.
"Hello, love. Mission accomplished?"
"Yes, we managed to secure the mine. We have supplies for the next few months."
"Thatās wonderful! Iām so proud of you."
Now it was your turn to shower him with affection. You planted kisses on his warm metal face, making sure not to miss a single spot, so Optimus knew just how much you loved him. Such a simple gesture was enough to make the leader of the Autobots weak in the knees, looking as though heād ascended to heaven. But thankfully, he didnāt have to ascend anywhere ā his heaven was right there, wherever you were. He had never been so happy, so blissfully content. After all those years of brutal war, spilled energon, and lost comrades, he had finally found his piece of heaven.
"Optimus?"
He blinked a few times. He was no longer in the base. Before him stretched a vast panorama of mountains, forests, valleys, and lakes, with no beginning or end. Heād passed similar landscapes many times on patrol, admiring the beauty of this planet. Each time, they left him speechless.
"Optimus?"
He looked down to where the voice was coming from, and a smile appeared automatically when he saw you. You looked concerned, likely because of his momentary distraction; to comfort him, you were gently stroking the metal on his shoulderā¦ When had he managed to mass-displace? He had no idea, and it didnāt matter as long as you were so close, touching him, focusing all your attention on him.
He wanted to hold you and never let go so much.
"You were gone for a long time. I was worried."
Looking at you as if you were the eighth wonder of the world, Optimus gently stroked your cheek, handling you like fine porcelain. You smiled at his gesture, snuggling closer into his metal servo. He was always so tender with you, so gentle, a contrast to his true, raw strength. He took care to never harm you, to always make you feel safe.
Especially during the pregnancy.
His caring optics instinctively shifted to your slightly rounded belly, widening in surprise. He looked startled, and he was. Shocked that your biologies were compatible enough to create an offspring together.
But he had known about it for a few months nowā¦
Slowly, he moved his trembling hand to your belly, caressing the curve. A smile appeared on his slightly parted lips. Could it be that his life had finally come together? No more war, no more being a Prime? Could he finally be free?
"This is a dream, isnāt it?" he whispered, looking into your eyes.
But you were no longer there.
Optimus woke up tense and anxious. Of course, it had only been a dream. His life couldnāt be so perfect, so flawless. He clutched his face as the scenes from the dream played over in his processor, now tormenting him in the real world. You haunted him even in his dreams, offering no respite even in his most private realm. But, unfortunately for him, there was only one antidote for this condition.
With a heavy spark, he got up from his berth and left his quarters. He automatically headed toward the main section of the base, clinging desperately to the faint, naive hope that heād find you there and maybe, just maybe you would spare him a glance.

Happy Chrysler! The brushes and fonts are here!
After months of promising I've finally put together the ULTIMATE LO DEBAUCHERY brush and font pack! This was something I've been wanting to put together and release for a while but between technical difficulties, moving PC's, and wanting to ensure the brush pack was as refined as possible, it led to some delays. That said, it's finally finished!
VERSION 3 HERE! Helpful anon struck back not once, but twice! This will be the FINAL RELEASE of this brush pack (unless anything else is discovered but at this point it's feeling pretty complete! Any new additions will be collected and released in a new version at a later date <3)
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
All the brushes I consistently use in my panel edits of LO and Rekindled panels, among a metric FUCKTON of others provided by the community since releasing the first build! All the brush files are .abr meaning they can be used cross-platform between Clip Studio, Photoshop, Procreate, and other compatible drawing software!

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED:
Clip Studio brushes that I also use due to exporting limitations. This includes the standard Gouache brush (which I've replaced with some Photoshop-compatible brushes that are close enough) and the Design Pencil brush, both of which come pre-packaged as default brushes with Clip Studio Paint. So if you use CSP, you should be able to find these missing brushes in your default brush kits!
The remaining 23 fonts from the Jason Brubaker set as they're not typically used in LO and I don't want to go releasing an entire font pack. Note that you should NOT use the provided fonts commercially unless you've legally paid for them. If you want all of his comic fonts to use royalty-free then you can buy them on Gumroad!
The canvas texture overlay that I apply to all my pages, the one I use can be found in Clip Studio's default texture overlays but you can undoubtedly also find overlays for free online or simply use the "Add Canvas" brush that's included in the brush pack! (the overlay is just faster and more uniform haha)
Commercial ownership - these brushes are all being provided to use for free, but you are NOT allowed to use these commercially, says the law. If you try to use these in a professional commercial product and get caught, it's your own funeral! Use at your own risk!

I was a member of a trotskyist organization for about a year, before I left due to life circumstances. I was a left-liberal before, and this group radicalized me. they were staunchly anti-ml, anti-anarchist, and i have been considering the org as perhaps not quite so good, especially since i find myself agreeing with all that you have to say. if it contributes to having a nice time on the computer, i would like to hear your criticisms of trotskyism and/or modern trotskyist orgs?
alright so i have a few different critiques of trotskyism and trotskyists--both theoretical and practical. the primary theoretical critique i have based on trotsky's own writings is that the idea of 'permanent revolution' is completely idealistic nonsense. it rests on incorrect assertions that marx & engels made about the global nature of socialist revolution--assertions that were already visibly incorrect when trotsky was pushing the theory of permanent revolution, not just with the benefit of hindsight. ironically, a lot of the things about the USSR that trotskyists love to criticise the most (the process of collectivization, socialist adventurist interventions) are things that trotsky was the fiercest advocate of all for!
i also think in practice a lot of trotskyite organizations in the imperial core--having defined themselves in huge part by their opposition to the USSR--have historically served as useful stooges for imperialist interests. whether they like it or not, the more energy they dedicate to their public and vocal criticisms (however correct, mind!) of socialist states, the more amenable and compatible and non-threatening their positions become to imperialist hegemony. this is (imo) even sillier in the present day, after the tragicĀ¹ dissolution of the USSR; trotskyite tendencies are positioning themselves against something which no longer functionally exists as a global political force. relitigating the Evils of Stalinism (as a matter of political line and not as a productive conversation about what modern socialist movements can learn from the failures of the USSR) seventy years after the fact is a political project founded on shadowboxing.
finally, in my personal experience, i have found that trotskyist orgs are much more sectarian and unwilling to work or communicate cross-tendency than anarchist or ML orgs. again--this is partially because a lot of 'trotskyism', especially in the modern day, has less to do with anything that trotsky wrote or did and more to do with performative rejection of the USSR (which, i cannot stress enough, no longer exists!). but like, i've seen more ML-anarchist cooperation in actual organizing on the ground than i've seen trotskyist cooperation with either of those tendencies. a lot of the major ones i've had any experience with also tend to have longstanding and entrenched organizational issues.
tldr: permanent revolution is a silly idea, trotskyist orgs have tended to align with imperialist foreign policy, modern trotskyist orgs tend to be hypersectarian newspaper sale platforms with entrenched leadership issues
Ā¹ i'm still planning to make a full post about this at some point but you do not have to be a late Soviet apologist or a marxist-leninist or even a socialist to recognise that the collapse of the USSR and the resulting period of shock therapy caused mass amounts of human suffering and tragedy btw.
