That's actually a hella ancient idea from 16-17, which was very prominent, but I Got Lazy (tm). But this year I decided to finish some of those "old but prominent", and started with this one.

The idea behind is that N.team decided to take a lil break and hold a music show on the Islands. Like, zero tricks, just PRETTY LOUD music. Bandicoots came to check if there is something evil goes on, caused a lil disaster, but in the end everyone enjoyed their time.

There was a couple more of scenes between the chars in my mind, but they weren't even sketched, so not gonna bring them up lmao.

Also kinda inspired by metal CB soundtracks remix. I gave Cortex keyboard guitar as he was plaing piano in CotT. Also I don't think he is a singing type xD

Anyways, I was wondering if you could do a Donnie x male reader where the reader has recently adopted a kitten who's very playful and tends to scratch a lot but is still an adorable sweetheart and when Donnie goes to visit him, the kitten immediately likes him? I've seen cats distrust and dislike people that aren't good for their owners so the idea of the cat immediately accepting Donnie would be super cute imo. You can skip this ask if you want lol ^^

"I seriously doubt you thought this through," Donnie said, tapping his foot as you fiddled with the door to your apartment.

"I did, Don. Trust me when I say that this was a perfectly thought out plan," You replied with a smile, cheering as you finally got the door open. Damn door and it's finicky lock, Donnie knew he'd have to fix it someday soon. Lest you break your hand trying to get it open.

When you had called Donnie a few nights ago, saying you found a poor little kitten in an alleyway, abandoned by it's mother, he had thought you would take it to a shelter. Or maybe give it to some extended family members. Not immediately get attached and try to keep it.

Not that he's surprised, you always had a bleeding heart.

Now, you had somehow roped him into meeting the thing. Something about how you wanted your two favorite creatures to get along. Donnie still thought it was a bad idea - you lived in a rinky dink apartment in New York, a city which had a new mutant or yökai or another odd threat every other week - but he couldn't judge. Your life, your choice.

So, as you two stepped inside your apartment and you went to go put up your belongings, Donnie decided to go searching for the little creature who lived in your walls. Didn't take him very long, the thing had somehow slipped behind the microwave and was meowing loudly for someone to come save it.

Donnie picked up the kitten by the scruff of it's neck and held it up, examining the cat with an analytical eye. The kitten was still young enough that there wasn't any clear way to tell their gender and from what research he did on cat species, they seemed to be a Ragdoll. "Intriguing," he muttered.

"Donnie, I swear, if you're expirementing on poor Crash," you said as you walked into the kitchen, gently scopping the kitten from his grasp and setting them back down to let them scamper off to go explore the apartment more.

"Crash?" Donnie asked.

"Short for Crashworth Cortex Bandicoot the First," you said with a shrug, before leaving the kitchen to go sit on the couch. Donnie paused for a moment, thinking about how silly of a name that was for a cat, before turning his attention to your snack cabinet.

After settling down on the couch next to you - granola bar and flavorless juice in hand - he thought that was the last he'd see of Crash for the rest of the day, besides the little bugger running into the living room to play.

At least, until he started clawing at the couch, meowing for your attention.

"Aw, come here baby," You cooed, picking them up and holding the kitten close to your chest. Donnie could almost wish you'd talk to him like that - so soft and full of childish love - if you didn't already do that, in front of his brothers no less. Oh well, it's onlt naturally for a kitten to want to spend time with it's owner.

Yet, the kitten kept meowing.

"What's wrong baby?" You asked, still using that cute baby-talk voice as Crash simmied out of your arms and leaped over to him. They circled around on his lap for a while, before laying down to rest, purring. "Hey, they like you!" You exclaimed, eyes shining with pure delight.

"I...suppose so," Donnie said, confusion laced in his tone. He knows cats can eat turtles - and that cats will, on many occasions - so he thought Crash would just see him as a gaint, walking tray of yummy turtle meat.

He supposed not.

Slowly running his fingers through the cats fur he was...pleasantly surprised. Normally, stuff like cat's fur would trigger all his sensory issues, but this nice and fluffy and didn't feel like a thousand ants trying to bury under his skin.

"You good, babe? You're zoning out," You asked, tapping his shoulder lightly with a concerned look on your face. Donnie cleared his throat.

"There isn't anything wrong, my dear. Let us focus on the show. Oh, remind me, what's it about again?" Donnie asked. The question sent you on a hyperfocused-induced ramble, which allowed Donnie a moment of breath and also to distract you from the rare pet name that slipped out in a moment of weakness or how he kept petting the sleeping kitten for the rest of the marathon.

Crash Bandicoot - Vigilante AU

Some time ago, I envisioned an AU were Crash, Coco and Crunch are an inseparable trio of vigilantes, similar to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or the Cooper Gang.

Crash and Coco are part of an anthropomorphic society, which means the humans don't exist, nor does the Evolvo Ray, and Crunch was taken in by the bandicoot siblings as their adopted brother. They live the fictional Wumpa City, located in the USA.

Meanwhile, as side stories, Tawna is dating Pinstripe Potoroo, and other characters like Tiny Tiger, Komodo Joe, etc. have lives of their own. Some good, some bad.

Crashworth Bandicoot The Second:

Species: Eastern Barred Bandicoot

Height: 5' 3''

Level of intelligence: Above average

Occupation: Vigilante

Personality:

Witty, kind-hearted and laid back. He is not known for his anger, even towards his enemies, but threatening his little sister seems to be among one of very few ways of setting off his aggression. While not as intelligent as Coco, Crash still comes off as resourceful and smart enough to defeat villains.

Powers/abilities:

Crash retains most of his abilities from his original self, but also has vigilante skills. He can sprint, crouch and spin, but can also sneak around, slide on rails and even land on small spots.

Biography:

What can be said about this heroic and limber marsupial that hasn't been said before? Well, you might like to know that he enjoys delivering some sense of justice with the help of his sister Coco and adopted brother Crunch.

Powers/abilities:

Like her brother, Coco can sprint, crouch, do spin attacks and sneak around, but she's not able to slide on railings or jump on small posts. She is good at using weapons such as a bowcaster or grappling hooks.

Biography:

Coco is the high-spirited and intelligent younger sister of Crash.

When her face isn't glued to a computer screen, she tags along with her siblings using her expertise in technology. You can always count on her to hack into the mastermind's plans and warn Crash with some important information.

Powers/abilities: Crunch is an accomplished fighter; he's able to knock out a group of thugs without the use of weaponry, and he's also good at driving, especially on car chases.

Personality:

Crunch is hot-headed, irrational and sometimes over-confident. However, because of his time with Crash and Coco, he became very determined and loyal to them, and is always willing to help them when necessary. He is much more of a failure intolerant than his sibligns but does show a soft side.

He is also a nature lover and shows to be a ladies' man, much to the jealousy of Crash and the amusement of Coco.

Biography:

Crunch is one tough and powerful bandicoot. As the enforcer of the trio, the villains never see him coming as he's unpredictable. His muscular figure knows neither friend nor foe: only destruction!

Crashworth Cortex the first: Leader of the Alliance. Comes from his timeline to form an unstopable group. Controls the quantum forces of time, space, gravity and matter. His goal: No world domination or total destruction, his goal is to prove his absolute dominance of all the others. Everyone, who´s stupid enough to stand in his way, shall suffer the consequences.

Infinite: Also known as Zero the jackal. Crashworth´s right hand. Master of illusions and despair thanks to the phantom ruby. His goal is to prove his strengh over all, no matter what. (He´s not weak!)

Dark Spyro: The darker counterpart of Spyro, only much more evil. Besides magic, he also controls fire, ice and lighting. Loves to cause chaos all over, especially purple dragons.

Uka-Uka: Evil mask and brother of Aku-Aku. Contains alot of evil energy and magic. Even he joins forces with Crashworth, who is much more worthy than Cortex was, he´s still after world domination.

Crash Bandicoot Its About Time Headcanon AU

      In this alternate timeline, Dr. Neo Cortex had proven his henchman Doctor Nitrus Brio wrong by succeeding in creating his first general, Crashworth Cortex the First.

Flawed

He has been conditioned and trained to be one of the most ruthless and extremely loyal creations to be a part of Cortex’s army.

Once he was promoted as the head commander of Cortex’s army, Crashworth’s status made him the most feared adversary. He’s an excellent tactician because of his intimidating intelligence and is always quick to formulate improvisation  during a compromised mission.

His conditioning seemed almost flawless towards Cortex’s expectations! But was he really actually under Cortex’s complete control?

Well, not exactly.

Crashworth still obeys whatever Cortex instructs him to do, however, over time he has slowly become more self-aware. He wasn’t completely conditioned to Cortex’s liking, but his obedience towards his creator and executing his responsibility as the head commander wasn’t really questioned.

With these foreign and intrusive thoughts he made the decision to shoving those thoughts aside after it had caused him to second guess himself while undergoing a crucial mission beforehand. He disregarded them completely and seemed to convince himself that these thoughts were a nuisance.

Still, Crashworth can’t help but hear his own thoughts persist in his head whenever he would be doing his routine command for Cortex’s soldiers, or when he’s training with his second in command which happened to be his younger sister.

It wasn’t until he was alone in his quarters was when his thoughts began to overwhelm him. His own logical thoughts mixed in with these foreign ones only caused him to become more confused that he couldn’t distinguish which thoughts were his anymore.

He would cover his ears in an attempt to silence them, but to no avail. His denial of having a thought of his own was beginning to sink in. It was undeniable at this point.

He has complete control over his own thoughts even his desires.

Cortex’s influence didn’t affect him in any way, shape, or form. It was the pained truth that caused him to whimper silently to himself as his entire body was curled into a fetal position in his bed with his hands still covering his ears.

Crashworth knew that if his master found out that he had a will of his own it would most definitely end with him being replaced… and he knew that he would be exterminated without a second thought.

The best course of action was to keep this crucial information from his master ever finding out that he is, in fact, a flawed creation.

But deep down, he truly wanted to explore his own desires albeit hesitant to do so because of his duties. For now, it was best to act out like he’s still under Cortex’s influence to avoid suspicion even from his younger sister.

A little snippet that has been on my mind for awhile! What could’ve happened if the Cortex Vortex wasn’t sabotaged by Crash from an alternate timeline? It’s exciting to explore of these possible timelines in the multiverse of Crash Bandicoot. c:
