“Pro-life” my ass.
Measles is nothing to play around with. It’s highly contagious and the effects are devastating — it’s especially dangerous to the very young, the old, the sick + immunocompromised, and those who are pregnant. But the same kind of mean, selfish, idiotic antivaxxers who don’t even want their dogs vaccinated against rabies are running the show in Florida. Hopefully someone will find a way to sue DeSantis and Ladapo for personal damages, because high dollar lawsuits are the only thing these Republican death cultists seem to understand.

Should it come to that, yes. Because where in heaven's name would we be without "credible sources" and "experts"?!

Tired of being perceived as the “bad guy” bc I’m protecting my life and the lives of my family. I’ve kept us safe this far. Not letting up now. Also not taking any chances. Yes, I’m bored out of my mind and miss going places & seeing people, but I’m also part of the solution not the problem. If it wasn’t for people like me — staying home — you’d probably be sick/dead. Think about that.

The Left is Admitting what they Plan to Do.
What’s up with all these liberal media outlets and counties already saying “it might take weeks” and “we won’t know the results on the 5th”? Looks like they're building a narrative—maybe even a counter-narrative. This is straight-up pre-conditioning, telling you exactly what they’re planning. And as I’ve been saying for years: civil unrest during a contested election is the goal, using millions of migrants as paramilitary operatives. In my highly educated opinion, this is a CCP-backed coup to overthrow the U.S.
For years, I’ve documented (with screenshots) that the CCP is behind the migrant invasion, staging a cold invasion of the U.S. Now, Chinese President Xi is openly saying he’s ready for war. The Left’s violence is all they have left, and they’re signaling loud and clear. If they pop off—and it sure looks like they will—they need to be put down, once and for all. America can’t survive with this vulgar mind virus and cancer eating away at it.

This is straight-up child abuse. This man is so childish, he’ll let his son suffer with a broken ankle instead of wearing a piece of cloth on his face.

I made the colossal fucking mistake of reading the comments under a bird flu news article yesterday and basically I'm genuinely concerned we're all gonna die at this point. I realise these things are skewed towards gobshites and very few people comment to say "I am fully aware of this and taking sensible precautions."
Feels like as far as the general public is concerned, the three stages of pandemics are:
1) why is everyone panicking it's not a big deal. It's just these few cases we don't have to actually do anything
2) oh no everything is terrible why didn't someone fix this sooner but I'm not gonna wear a mask (in this case, stop drinking raw milk/stop feeding my pets raw meat) though
3) well I survived (because other people took it seriously and walled up around me) so it was never that bad and I don't have to take anything like this seriously ever again
Dude. DUDE. There is ZERO FUCKING GUARANTEE you will reach stage 3. It is not inevitable. The problem with oral history is always that the people who had the worst time can't tell us about it. I am begging you to Google "survivor bias".
I dunno maybe it's the history degree. People wanna go back to normal because the last epidemic sucked? Yeah so did Londoners in the 1830s facing waves of cholera, influenza and typhoid. Nobody in history has ever gone "oh boy, a new disease! It's been a while and I'm feeling refreshed enough to give this the attention it deserves!" We're not special. We don't have notes from our mums. We don't get to sit this one out just because we're still tired from the last one.
People use the mitigating measures of disease as proxy for the actual disease. If I go off my meds then I'm not sick anymore. If I'm not taking biosecurity measures then the risk no longer exists. That's not how this works that's not how any of this works that's the opposite of how this works.

Okay, so there's a twitter account that supposedly keeps a record of people who died at any point after they were vaccinated against COVID-19. I guess the aim is to "prove" that the vaccines are killing people?
Recently they posted a woman who was vaccinated in November 2021, and died July 2023. Already, the gap between the date she was vaccinated and the date she died is a bit eyebrow raising, but it gets even dumber once you find out an important detail they intentionally left out.
She died in a car accident.
Anti-vaxxers continue to be disgusting disingenuous fear-mongering fuckwits as usual.

In the U.S. where mask-shaming and spread of misinformation against mitigation measures were allowed, vulnerable people who need to stay safe face discrimination and bullying every day. We’re grateful to Jeanine Santucci, a national news reporter at @USATODAY, for showing solidarity with the marginalized community in @usatodayopinion.
#MaskTogetherAmerica & @spooniestrong highly recommend all politicians to read “A letter to my loved ones about COVID. You’ve moved on, but I’m still here.”
“
our country’s most vulnerable people deserve to be part of society. With the removal of mask mandates in health care settings and essential places such as pharmacies, public transit and grocery stores, #immunocompromised people are made outcasts. Telling #disabled and chronically ill people to “stay home forever” is cruel.”
Santucci, diagnosed with #T1D type 1 diabetes 11 years ago, a new mom, wears N95s, carries a portable air purifier, monitors air quality and tests her family weekly. She worries about #LongCovid. She is not alone. Santucci understands the despair and danger #spoonies with chronic illnesses are facing today.
We agree with Santucci that #Masking & #CleanAir are the most effective mitigation tools. It’s time for politicians to acknowledge that #CovidisAirBorne.
“I’ve kept up with vaccines and boosters – though even vaccinated people are reporting C19 to be the worst illness they’ve ever had. And my underlying condition might make it much harder to manage. What I’m more afraid of is what could happen to my body in the long term. I’m worried about health impacts that might crop up weeks or months later, and last for months, or even years
I’m worried about the impact to my short-term memory, vital for a parent.”
3 in 5 Adult Americans, ~200 million people in the U.S. need to avoid C19 infection due to the list of factors the CDC provided. We share Santucci’s fear. Immunity wanes. With C19 data lagging, precautions will save lives and prevent outbreaks. Let’s stay #COVIDSMART. If you are a hospitalist, please #keepmasksinhealthcare.
