I have been waiting for this for a while! So glad your inbox is open again, I adore your work. How about some Jakob x F!Corrin where they’ve had a handful of intimate moments, but Corrin confronts him wondering why he hasn’t kissed her yet? ❤️❤️

Ever since Corrin left the fortress was time for the universe to constantly nudge the two into being as close as possible.

Their hands brushing against each other... The warm embraces they exchanged... How he looked at her... And yet he's still to kiss her on the lips!

It was frustrating really. She thought that after saying how he feels he's going to be more forward but he was taking everything in a very slow pace.

He already had an existential crisis when he couldn't handle it anymore and told Corrin about his feelings.

He wanted to kiss her. But there was something holding him back from it. It was like a switch he couldn't turn himself.

So, it was up to Corrin to reach for that switch! She had to confront him about it. At first she wanted to be patient but she got to a point where she needed his kisses as much as she needed her next breath.

Being alone with her certainly made him feel the same way, but he still held back. Until he heard her ask in a rather frustrated way- which he didn't expect.

Seeing her so pouty about not being kissed was just adorable. And before she got a chance to complain any more he kissed her right away.

He could never refuse her, and with such a pleasant request he'd be a fool to reject it.

The kiss was like he was making up for all the lost opportunities. But it wasn't enough to keep them satisfied.

It's his job to make sure she has everything she wants after all, and his lips and body are more than willing to submit to her desires.

ok hear me out: AU where all the smash fighters not explicitly killed in the World of Light opening cutscene somehow survive and have to take on their post-apocalyptic world together

a comprehensive list on which smash fighters died in Galeem's initial attack:

the "not seen killed but there IS a body" tier is for characters who we don't see vaporized by galeem's light but are clearly visible in the scene with all the puppet fighters. I tried my best but that scene is REALLY dark with the only visible light being the glowing eyes so if you can point to a puppet fighter and say "that's X, you can tell because of their Y" I'll take them off the survivor tier

making this tierlist made me realize how few characters we see actually killed. not shulk? not fox? not THE MARIO BROTHERS??? (obviously mario is the one who we see puppeted but we never see his actual death and that surprised me)

and if we count the DLC fighters and Kirby that's a total of 52 survivors of Galeem's attack and that's a lot so to make it more bite-sized i split them up into groups like how you see people group up in zombie movies. they're also grouped by theme!

Have some lore for them, too! Beware my severe bias towards a few groups.

"The Survivor" - Kirby! Survived Galeem's initial attack by temporarily warping to a different dimension.

"The Littles" - Bowser Jr, the Ice Climbers, Little Mac, Pichu, Olimar and Alph, Ness, Lucas, Isabelle, and Meta Knight. These fighters are all children or physically small in some way. They all attempted to use the rocks and mountain faces as cover against the initial attack, but lost their footing and fell off the cliff as Galeem's rays destroyed it. Little Mac caught Pichu and tried to shield her with his own body as they fell.

Olimar and Alph were saved by their Winged Pikmin, Meta Knight saved himself with his wings, Isabelle caught herself with the balloons from her Up Special, and Bowser Jr. used the propeller of his Koopa Clown Car. Olimar and Alph caught Popo and Nana, Lucas grabbed Bowser Jr. with Rope Snake, Meta Knight caught Ness, and Isabelle caught Mac (and Pichu by extension).

By the time they had reached the bottom of the valley, Galeem was so distracted with trying to annihilate Kirby that he didn't notice that The Littles were still alive. They survived the universe-consuming blast by hiding out in a cave, since that blast seemingly did not affect the terrain.

"The Nobles" - Peach, Daisy, Chrom, King Dedede, Ganondorf, Corrin, King K. Rool, Lucina, Roy, and Marth. These fighters are all royalty or have noble blood flowing through their veins.

"The Perserverers" - Cloud, Ike, Ken, Simon, Richter, Ryu, Robin, Luigi, the Miis, Wario, and Shulk. Okay I'll be honest there's no theme with this one. I originally wanted Incineroar in this group and the theme to be they all had jobs that had to do with kicking people's asses but then there was Luigi and Wario and all the other guys and I just threw the theme out the window lol.

"The Non-Humans" - Incineroar, Wolf, Dark Samus, Yoshi, R.O.B, Pac-Man, Ridley, Donkey Kong, and Mr. Game & Watch. These fighters are all non-human. Game & Watch and Pac-Man survived by simply being too Flat but I'm unsure how the others would have escaped.

"The Newcomers" - Piranha Plant, Joker, Hero, Banjo and Kazooie, Terry, Byleth, Min-Min, Steve, Sephiroth, Pyra and Mythra, Kazuya, and Sora. These fighters are the DLC characters. Survived Galeem's initial attack by virtue of being in a different dimension when it happened. Pulled through time and space to the World of Light, they band together to find a way back to their home dimensions (although for some, this team-up happened very begrudgingly).

I don't know much about some of these franchises, so I'm welcome to suggestions to help me develop this AU! Seriously I am on my hands and knees BEGGING for suggestions because so far the only group that is developed is The Littles 😭

Hello can I ask for Joker with fem Corrin fluff where she helps him relax after a long day?

Of course!! He was my first Fates character’s husband, actually!! 💙 Also, apologies in advance if I accidentally slipped "Jakob" in there anywhere and didn't catch it.

Relax! (Fem!Corrin x Joker)

"Joker? I'd like to talk to you," Corrin spoke, as her butler finished up preparing her tea.

"Of course, Lady Corrin. What is on your mind?" Joker asked, pouring the fresh tea into a cup for his master. Corrin carefully took the cup, setting it down on the table.

"You're exhausted, Joker. It's easy to see that. Please, take a break for now. It's late," The Nohrian princess said, motioning for Joker to sit down with her at the table. However, her butler shook his head, staying where he was.

"I'm sorry, Milady, but I'm afraid I do not have the time to take a break, right now. There is still so much to do."

"Then let Gunter take care of it."

Corrin didn't miss a beat, wanting Joker to relax a bit. He always worked so hard, and she wasn't sure how to go about getting him to sit down for a few minutes. The butler let out a sigh.

"Milady, you know I can't do that. Gunter would be very unhappy if I were to leave everything to him." Not that Joker really cared about what Gunter felt or thought. Corrin, however, wasn't ready to give up just yet. She crossed her arms, looking the silver-haired young man in the eyes.

"Fine. If that's how it's going to be... Joker, I order you to leave the rest of this to Gunter and come relax with me."

Joker's eyes widened a bit.

"B-but, Milady-"

"That's an order, Joker," Corrin interrupted, Sighing in defeat, Joker nodded a bit.

"Very well, Lady Corrin... What would you like me to do?" He questioned, earning a smile from the noble seated across from him. She picked up the teapot, careful not to burn herself, and poured a cup of tea for the man.

"Just relax, Joker. That's all I'm asking you to do," She replied, handing the cup to him. "You're always working so hard." And as if Joker hadn't already been surprised enough by the request alone, Corrin did something even more surprising to the man. She stood up, walking over to Joker's chair.

"Milady, what are you-" He couldn't even finish what he had started to say, as Corrin began to carefully massage his shoulders. His eyes widened, and though he had already begun to enjoy the feeling, he quickly pulled away from her, standing. "L-Lady Corrin...!"

"What's wrong? Did I hurt you?" The woman asked, concerned. Joker's red cheeks, however, did not go unnoticed by her. "Oh, I see... I guess that was a bit embarrassing for you, wasn't it?"

Joker bit his lip. "It was improper. What if someone had seen us?" He questioned. Corrin thought for a second, before nodding.

"Sorry. I guess I didn't really think about that," She apologized. However, that still didn't stop her. "But sit back down. It'll be fine. It's late, and I doubt anyone will come in here."

Joker once again opened his mouth to speak, but was quickly cut off.

"No arguments. Sit." With a sigh, the butler did as told, sitting back down in his chair.

"Lady Corrin, I don't see how this is necessary..." Joker mumbled, though he quickly stopped speaking, once he felt Corrin's hands on his shoulders, again. He tensed up a bit, causing the woman to huff.

"You're supposed to be relaxing, not tensing up," She spoke, as she continued. At her words, Joker very hesitantly let himself relax, sighing a bit. While it felt very nice, he was still highly embarrassed. "And it's necessary because I care about you, and I want to be able to do something for you in return for everything you do for me."

As if Joker's cheeks hadn't been red enough, already. The simple words "I care about you" were enough to turn the poor man's face the shade of a tomato.

No, Joker... Don't get your hopes up. She didn't mean it in that way. That would be impossible. She is your master.

These thoughts ran through the butler's mind, as he sat in silence, staring at the floor. His heart was pounding, and he worried that Corrin would surely hear it.

"...Joker?"

Hearing his named snapped him out of his thoughts, as Corrin moved to stand in front of him.

"Your face is so red... And you seemed to not hear a word I just said... Are you feeling alright?" The princess lifted a hand, gently pressing it to Jakob's cheek, as a frown formed on her lips. "You're so warm... Maybe you should go get some sleep..."

Joker cleared his throat, looking away with a sigh.

"Lady Corrin, I assure you that I am not unwell..." Wait, no, why did he just say that? Why didn't he just go with it? Why not get out of the awkward situation. Corrin raised a brow.

"Then what's wrong? Please, tell me, Joker. I'm worried about you." The silver-haired man sighed, his gaze falling to his lap.

"...Fine. Lady Corrin, as your butler, what I am about to say is entirely unacceptable." He paused, taking a deep breath and letting it out. "I have been keeping this to myself for so long, but... I..."

He didn't even have to continue. His hesitant words and red face were enough of a giveaway as it was. Corrin's eyes widened a bit, though not for long. She gently wrapped her arms around Joker, closing her eyes.

"M-Milady, what are- Mph!"

Joker sat there in shock, as he tried to process what was happening. His master, whom he had adored for so many years, was kissing him. She was kissing him! Slowly and very hesitantly, he gently wrapped his arms around her, closing his eyes and letting himself return the kiss.

"L-lady Corrin...?" Joker whispered, upon separating. Corrin gave him a gentle smile, her cheeks also quite red.

"I feel the same way about you, Joker," She replied, softly. "Now..." She hrabbed his tea and handed it to him, then moved to stand behind him again, smiling. "Maybe you can relax a bit?" She didn't wait for a reply, before once again beginning to massage his shoulders.

Maybe... Just maybe... It would be okay for him to relax, once in a while.

Fire Emblem Fates Mistletoe Headcanons

Features: Camilla/Hinoka, M Corrin/Felicia, Niles/M Corrin, Flora/Joker, Leo/Takumi, Kagero/Orochi, Xander/Charlotte, Ryoma/Felicia

Camilla/Hinoka:

Camilla and Hinoka end up kissing by chance. As the evening grows upon them, Hinoka ventures to the stable to brush and dress up Bashira, her pegasus. She always does this around the holidays, given that they’re such a special event, so it’s no surprise to Camilla when she finds her there. She can’t help but smile at the way the Hoshidan princess cares for her beloved friend, knowing how happy Bashira’s presence makes her. She’s so focused on their joy, she doesn’t even notice the mistletoe hanging from the stable’s roof.

Therefore, up until the moment they notice, the situation is totally innocent. The girls are laughing and chatting, discussing the chilly weather and the upcoming holiday, when Hinoka’s notices the mistletoe hanging above them. Immediately she accuses Camilla, who insists upon her innocence… although she says that if she had thought of it, she would have. Letting out a slight huff, Hinoka asks if she can kiss her — Camilla is more than happy to oblige, laughing in the kiss, for Hinoka has to stand on her tippy toes to match their heights.

M Corrin/Felicia:

For theirs, Corrin probably planned it. There are just too many disaster scenarios that could occur otherwise, and he doesn’t want to leave Felicia out of mistletoe kisses altogether because he knows she loves it when he’s romantic. So he resolves to hang the mistletoe in his treehouse, and calls her over there as his maid because he needs her help cleaning up something. Initially, Felicia’s a bit puzzled. He doesn’t really call on her so much to be his maid anymore, not when he’s got Jakob and Flora to take care of him, too. But she goes anyway, still wanting to prove herself.

The mistletoe is hanging in the centre of the room when she arrives, and Corrin’s just sitting on his bed, crisscross applesauce, waiting for his beloved wife to wander through the door. In spite of Felicia’s distracted tendencies, she catches a glimpse of it the moment she enters, and a warm smile sneaks across her face. Within seconds Corrin is up, wrapping his hands around her waist and enjoying how much she’s blushing.

“I didn’t want you to feel left out from all the romance,” he tells her, “Do you like it?”

She laughs in her usual awkward way, stopping to press her lip to Corrin’s for a long moment, finally breaking apart to whisper: “I love it. Thank you, my prince.”

Niles/M Corrin:

Some of you may think that Niles organizes it. Nope! That’s where you’re wrong: this is Corrin’s turf. With the life he’s lived, Niles has not often been swept off his feet, so Corrin is ready to do some sweeping. He’s pulling out all the stops, candlelit dinner date in the treehouse! A kiss under the mistletoe is the entrance fee. Niles knew his partner had to be up to something the moment he received the invitation, but he’s more than okay with that.

He returns to their shared treetop home after a long day of work, opening the door only to be captivated by all of the decorations all over the room. At the centre is the candlelit dinner, just as expected, with food that smells amazing. Corrin is adjusting one of the place settings when he arrives, and snaps to attention when he sees his husband. Niles is about to walk in and give him his thanks when Corrin stops him.

“Sir, if you’d like to dine at this establishment, you need to pay the entrance fee.”

“Entrance fee?”

Corrin points up. Niles sighs and shakes his head. “Well what are you doing over there, then? C’mere.”

Flora/Joker:

Theirs is pseudo-spontaneous, because it’s spontaneous for THEM, but it only happens because Felicia is a pot stirrer. In the spirit of the season, people have hung all kinds of mistletoe around camp, and she knows just how badly Flora wants to be under that mistletoe with Jakob. So she does what any hopelessly clumsy little sister would do in her position: she throws herself against her sister when Jakob is under the mistletoe, knocking them under it together. “Whoops, clumsy me, running into you like that — oh, look at that, you two are under the mistletoe!”

Flora’s face turns beet red, shooting Felicia the dirtiest look she’s ever seen. She starts to insist to Jakob that it’s not necessary and to not mind her sister, but to her surprise, Jakob just sighs and insists that they shouldn’t forego tradition. He says that if she’s alright with it, he will go forward. Poor Flora can barely stammer out her acceptance, but when she gets there, it’s all Jakob needs to place one hand on her cheek and gently unite their lips. He’s just as warm and soft as Flora dreamt he would be, and his lips taste like coffee… If she died right then and there, she’d die happy.

Leo/Takumi:

These two are just… mistletoe, man. They both think it’s a stupid tradition and they don’t want to do it, but when they end up under it, suddenly their tunes have changed. Well, only because of their stupid rivalry, really. Elise somehow makes sure they end up under it, because of course she would, it’s funny. Once they’re under it, too, neither of them wants to do it. Takumi insists that it’s a childish tradition, and Leo asks if he’s just too cowardly to try it. Takumi, being Takumi, disagrees strongly and says Leo won’t try it because he’s even more of a coward.

Cue a lot of ridiculous arguing and name calling, going after each other until finally Takumi concludes that the only way they can prove themselves is by kissing. It’s begrudging, red-faced, and it takes a lot of effort to work up the courage to do, but once they meet… they’re struck by how pleasant it actually is. Leo is surprised by just how soft his lips are, and Takumi can’t help but be surprised by Leo’s posture and how natural it feels… Later that night, they definitely seek out their younger sisters in a panic, wondering why they were FEELING things during a hate-kiss.

Kagero/Orochi:

Despite Orochi’s cheeky personality, they probably get caught in the moment more than anything. To be honest, Kagero’s probably caught in an attempt to paint the mistletoe she’s seeing, but finds that something is missing from it. Painting an object so quaint and cute is rather difficult for her art style, especially since it’s so… harsh. She’s scrapped more than a few paintings in frustration, which naturally attract Orochi to the unusual display of emotion from her. She suggests that perhaps a model for the piece would help support her, so Kagero asks her to give it a shot.

It seems to work well at first, but Kagero has a very particular idea about how the pose would work for Orochi, so she goes over to set her up. As she’s giving the instructions, she can tell Orochi’s distracted by the mistletoe hanging above them and- oh. Her face goes red, and she asks if Orochi really wants to enforce the mistletoe rules. That signature grin of her Orochi’s snakes across her face easily. “Just a little kiss!” she insists. Unwilling to refuse her, even despite her secret crush, Kagero plants a gentle yet surprisingly awkward kiss to Orochi’s lips. Okay, this may or may not have been Orochi’s plan. She’s just really good at playing it off.

Xander/Charlotte:

They probably don’t end up under the mistletoe together until they’re married, because before that, Xander absolutely knows what she’s up to. So he’s only going to end up with her under it as a married man, and with it being a spontaneous plan. They end up there together after taking a walk through the snow, their fingers interlaced as they chat, until they finally come back to Xander’s quarters to settle in for the night… only to find that Camilla and Elise have hung some mistletoe above their heads. Xander is a bit flustered, but Charlotte just teases him about being smooth.

Xander tries to protest, insisting that he really didn’t do it, and that she should feel no obligation to participate in the tradition if it doesn’t please her. Charlotte simply ignores his babbling, grabbing the collar of his shirt and pulling him down into a passionate kiss. The tips of the crown prince’s ears burn hot, but the feeling of Charlotte’s lips on his own is too good to pass up. He settles in easily, eyes shutting as he savours the moment.

Ryoma/Felicia:

As I’ve said before, I don’t see Ryoma as a big PDA guy, but I feel like Felicia absolutely loves it. Thus, she surely plotted their kiss. Problem is, Ryoma is pretty tall, and the top of Felicia’s head only comes up to his collarbone, so anywhere she could hang mistletoe wouldn’t work for him. So, she concocts a terrible plan: she’s going to use a ladder to put up the mistletoe. Surely nothing about this will go wrong, right? Yeah… it goes about as wrong as you’d expect. She stretches too far while on the ladder to try and hang it, and the whole thing goes tumbling to the floor… and causes a minor break in her arm.

Ryoma finds her in the infirmary with Sakura, pouting. Knowing his wife well, he’s not reluctant to try and console her, but does want to know what the heck she was doing on a ladder in the first place. She quietly confesses to her mistletoe plan and her hope to earn herself more kisses from him. He can’t help but sigh and shake his head, inquiring as to why she didn’t just ask. Without another word he kisses her temple, and then asks if she still has the mistletoe. She does, and hands it to him with her working hand, so he can hold it above their heads. “Perhaps it’s not the kiss you imagined, but… I hope it still satisfies.”

Felicia can’t fight off her smile as she leans in to meet her partner.

Chrom (walking towards Lucina): Agh! Gods! Yes, my drunk daughter?

Lucina: I want Cloud!

Chrom: ...Cloud?

Although he still remained as the person who dislikes mornings the most, he wasn't nearly as grumpy as before.

That is of course all thanks to his wife. Waking up next to her fills him with joy... But as he has his duties to fulfill, he often can't afford to stay with her for long.

So he sometimes could be found muttering "And to think I had to leave her for this" whenever he's annoyed by almost anything.

Imagine his surprise when he woke up and saw Corrin awake right next to him. For a second he thought he had overslept but she only smiled and excitedly said "Happy birthday dear" she couldn't allow anyone else to wish him a happy birthday before her after all.

He was so moved by it his usual morning behavior was out of the window. He was so happy he could cry. That morning he acted like nothing could worsen his mood, all thanks to Corrin.

She also insisted on helping him a little with his usual work (which took a lot of convincing) so they could enjoy more free time together.

It was so romantic, and she made sure to avoid everyone at all costs so nobody disturbed them once they went on their date.

It felt like they were in their own world. Nothing mattered but where they were there and then.

They talked, enjoyed tea, warmed each other up after coming back inside after being out in that ridiculously low temperature... It was their little heaven on earth.

It was definitely one of the best days he had in his life. And it set him for a good mood for more than just that day.

To the others it was very unusual to see Jakob act like that. But it didn't last for too long because before they knew it, he was back to normal. To his wife on the other hand he was the sweetest person he could be.

Camilla

There was a lot of things that she wanted to do with her sister. But recently Corrin had little to none time to spare for Camilla. Which made her disappointed to say the least.

She just wanted to relax, maybe have a spa day or even just take a nap together. Anything to see her adorable sister smile.

It got to a point where she wondered if they'd get the sibling bonding time at all. Ever since Corrin's "reunion with the Hoshido royals" nothing was like it used to be.

It made her quite mad, so she did scout around to have something to take her anger out on.

When she finally was back she felt guilty to find out that Corrin was looking for her. But it didn't take long before the sisters met.

Without any explanation Corrin told her to follow, so that's exactly what she did.

It turned out that even though yes war did keep her occupied, her most recent busyness was due to her plans for a surprise party. It was all for Camilla's birthday.

She was so glad to see that her sister was as sweet as ever. Although she paid attention to everyone at the party she did end up having Corrin make a few plans and promises.

So for the next week they had a lot of plans together to make up for all of that ignoring.

Ever since that incident they made sure to always have at least a day in a month dedicated strictly to bonding together. Of course they'd hang out more than just that. However that day will be special for both of them.
