So about 10 days ago I decided to actually start working on my Flare-spells again (mostly to get Donald off my back about it), but it's just way too quiet and lonely in Merlin's Forest! So I told Merlin I knew of another forest, (the one in the world of Rapunzel and Flynn!) and asked him if I could train there instead. He said yes, but only if I promised not to get distracted.

I can't help it, okay?! The festival is just way too much fun, and I'd never pass on the opportunity to dance with Rapunzel and the others again! The problem is that someone there infected me with something, because after that I've been sick and lying in my bed for the past week :c

I know some of you had questions for the others and I'm sorry you've had to wait for so long! I didn't want to bring my phone to anyone else in fear of making them sick too. And yeah, I could've just sent them my Tumblr password, but if Tron ever found out about that he'd never stop scolding me for it (he values cyber-security above ALL ELSE)!

Anyway, I've been doing a bit better for the last two days, so it seems like I can finally start going outside again soon (playing Classic Kingdom games in your room all day gets so boring after a while). Hope all of you are doing well! This is captain Sora, ou- ahh- AHH-

I haven't posted any art in a while- let's change that! Meet Wen-Khan, an Osmosis Jones OC I made way back during the pandemic. So, you can probably guess what kind of virus she is...

Aaaaand because of that, I've been really nervous about posting this, because even though we've been out of the pandemic for a while now, there are still people who lost loved ones or could be long-haulers. So, I didn't want to upset anyone. (And if this is upsetting/offensive, please let me know and I'll take it down ASAP.)

But I've had her for quite some time now, and as a result I have plenty to share about her, so stay tuned!

I will say that I think Jonathan Case is the best artist we've had for Batgirls so far.

Sorry to Jorge Corona but they've been outmatched.

And while I've been less critical of the series than some, even liking some of the prior art, I am not blind to see that oddly certain artists drew them a bit younger than they were supposed to be, Neil Googe and sighs, Jorge Corona specifically.

But I also didn't like Robbi Rodriguez that much when it came to certain aspects even if he drew them older, like I just don't think the guy is particularly good with showing characters in motion, like the characters felt stiff with his art imo.

But Case checks both boxes by conveying the characters well in action and having them look their age, so 10/10 to him.

I just wanted to add on top of what other anons have said that the pandemic is still raging, governments around the globe have just stopped counting the cases. And it's harder to get officially tested (so you don't get counted) or you get an autotest (you don't get counted) or you think it's something else so you don't get tested at all but it's actually COVID. Plus the asymptomatic people. But it's still going around, just as strong as before.

As someone with long COVID, thank you for saying you'll mask again, trust me, the fog on your glasses is nothing like what you could get from getting covid (I say this as someone who masks with glasses lol, I get you)
