Scum Villain’s Survival Guide where it’s Shen Jiu as the transmigrator. SJ gets tracked into this “Make The Target Happy!” mission system and is so resentful that at the end of every success he pulls the plug and ruins his target’s life, and it’s not technically against the rules is it? But now he’s gotta go back and right all his wrongs—there’s the demon lord he betrayed and killed, the war hero who thinks he’s an alien agent who betrayed humanity, etc. etc. At the end of the day it’s all about growth—he panics at the thought that he’s responsible for another person’s happiness so he’d rather crush it himself. Righting every wrong involves actually baring a part of himself and it’s mortifying and horrifying to let someone else choose to love him.

Why can I see better without my glasses if I close one eye.

Edit: it's called "convergence insufficiency", where your eyes try to drift to the sides when you're trying to focus on something close to you.

Like for instance a phone screen you have to hold up to your face because you have your glasses off and can't see more than five inches away

wow our eyes are fucked rn - we have a history of our left eye muscles getting drifty when we're tired or ill (it's an eds thing) but lately the right one has gone too and it's not just that we see double a lot - it's like ↙︎↗︎ [emojis for arrow pointing down and left, arrow pointing up and right] and a lot of the time our brain ends up closing our right eye out of a sense of self-preservation and yeah this is context for our post about not reading some long posts

anyway we're seeing (twice hah) the optician* next week to get referred to the orthoptist, but this being post-tory britain it could be months before we see them (also twice hah)

Guys seriously Merlin being on trending has forced me to revisit my most long lasting teenage, codependent, homoerotic friendship.

She is a big fan and now we are back to frequently chatting and fangirling over Merlin (mostly her). We are really back in 2011 huh?

I think that one of the saddest things about H:SR Kaeya is that he doesn't trust easily- yet he can't stop himself from doing so.

It's not easy to use and/or deceive him: he will analyze the person close to him and make accurate deductions about them to an uncomfortable degree, as he has a keen eye to spot the truth, as someone who's used to alter it. He wouldn't survive without having honed this side of him. 

He's not lonely by choice. Once somebody shows him a bit of empathy or their good side, his detached but polite manners start crumbling little by little, and if it's kept up it chips away at the chameleon-personality he shows to the world. You could be the worst scum in the world- but showing a more human and kind side to Kaeya will make you go a long way to obtain some sort of friendship with him. He'll try better to understand where this person is coming from, as he believes that people aren't strictly good or evil and there's always an explanation for anyone's actions.

There are many signs that he craves company, to the trained eye: the way the tension peaks in his body when hugged, only for him to melt into it a second after. how he indulges in whatever touch is offered him is one. Lulling him into a sense of companionship by slowly familiarizing him with friendly contact turns him curious, and bashful if the approach is borderline flirty and there's mutual interest involved.

A gentle shoulder touch with Kaeya, touching his arm or just making physical contact gets you an immensely longer way than simple words. 

Even in the worst cases, he'd rather give a shot than dwell on what-ifs: he has a long time to indulge in that. He'd rather drift in a friendship and see it die naturally than break it, because some of the moments spent with someone that has betrayed or harmed him were good.

He is, unfortunately, rather perplexed by how his mysterious ways attract people and that he can be genuinely liked without the involvement of either money or ways that the other person can employ him for.

are aether’s wings truly moth-like? putting aside glaring concerns of structural integrity at that scale, that would likely mean they not only would damage to the point of flightlessness very easily and almost none would reach significant age with flight capability intact barring medical, magical, or biological wings-shedding-and-regrowing-seasonally intervention, but also that they would likely never be able to bathe, swim, or come into contact with any amount of water, at all.
