Dkdkdkdks this is not a serious analysis in any way at all but the podcast I’m listening to has started going through Plato’s dialogues & in one of them (The Symposium) an excruciatingly handsome young man, Alcibiades, tries desperately to seduce Socrates with his good looks in the hopes of gleaning more wisdom from him. In it Socrates does get into bed with him, but all that goes down is Socrates ‘not moving at all’ and rambling endlessly on about philosophy. Idk I’m just pishing myself, this is just so incredibly Ratio/Aventurine core dndndndxndn

ik your mind is made up but just to throw in some support for choicescript - readers can disable the sliding choice thing in settings, its visual style is easy to read (no potential eyestrain from an unfortunate font+color combo), and it’s able to be read on mobile. i miss out on most twine games due to the last point in particular hahaha

those are really good points! the simple style is also something i really like about cs and i definitely want the game to be accessible as possible so maybe i can make a cs-like theme? i already have the game supported on mobile at the very least!

Have you ever felt that, as an online culture, we "backed" the wrong horse in the memetic zeitgeist? Right now you're probably wondering what the hell is it that I'm talking about specifically, but rest easy: I am indeed talking about how Disturbed's "Down with the Sickness" fucking sucks and how we should've memefied "Stupify" instead.

---- The argument is simple: Better overall instrumental performance AND way funnier/more annoying vocal stylings. If you think I'm high on fumes or something, hear for yourself.

---- If you're listening to crappy butt-rock, at least go for the track that has something going on for it throughout, instead of just one mildly interesting hissy-fit on a song that also includes a skit that sounds like the best acting Robert Downey Jr. ever did, it's all I'm saying. ---- On second thought, Dan Donegan is a "Cancel culture" whingy shithead that makes me embarrassed that I use the same guitar brand as he does and David Draiman is an all-around garbage person, so I think that's way funnier (even if unintentionally) than anything they have ever put to tape. Here's a cool song by an awesome band that I still love instead...

Anyway, I'll probably go back to writing about anime and Fire Emblem because that's all it ever seems to interest people when I type out these journal entries/brain droppings. Love a duck!

back on the laptop with the low contrast screen, art is harder and so is minecraft (screen physically cannot display darker areas) but its a good setup for writing! tradeoff i suppose

No kidding. I just saw some fan made redesigns and some just correcting the color scheme to make it easier on the eyes. Big improvement. To think RT actually paid money for this terrible logo.

I've seen some redesigns as well, and literally all of them are huge steps up from the horrible base. Why did they choose Eyestrain, The Design™
