Oh wait other anon has me curious..... what was noels lament like?

Keep these coming gang I am LOVING IT. Noel's Lament was SO GOOD AT THE CONTEMPORARY. Like last time I will add little details:

On "...but, in my dreams...", Noel slides his pants down to reveal the dress. Haha get it. But. Like butt. Get it.

After the "10 times in his back", Noel puts on lipstick! It's like BRIGHT RED. It was awesome I immediately smiled and gasped.

This wasn't really like. an intentional detail or anything but Noel accidentally spit on Ricky while saying "oui" and the entire theatre giggled. Everyone giggled again when Ricky just nonchalantly wiped it off after Noel finished yapping about wishing to burn out rather than fade away.

Nicholas McInturff REALLY put emotion into Noel! He gets extremely excited when he brings up Claude. His voice is guttural and desperate when he mentions that he "wants to be that f*cked up girl". He lets out some silly fake coughs when bringing up the typhoid flu.

The theatre went INSANE when Noel showed off the Monique outfit. Like. LOUD CHEERING. In the recording you can hear it. (You can also hear me shout "GET IT GAY BOY!")

Ok that's all I can remember. BUT as a special treat:

After the production, I went and chatted with the cast and got autographs (I posted this) yada yada... BUT! Nicholas was amazing to talk to! Extremely friendly! He'd actually seen The Blue Angel and talked about it a little bit with me. Not only that but I asked him what he thought of Noel being autistic and he said that he agrees! Thank you Nicholas you're so real for that 🙏

Anyways yeah!!! Tysm for asking!!!

What was the Ballad like at Contemporary?

Oh it was AMAZING. I'm not sure what this is asking so I'm gonna put a bunch of details that happened here:

LIGHTBULB PROPS! So on "oh my soul", one of the choir members came out with a lightbulb. Jane reached for it on the "ooh"s, but it's yanked away from her on the last "ah". After this, the rest of the choir comes out with lightbulbs! IT REPRESENTS THEIR SOULS!!! COOL DETAIL!!!

Instead of being lifted into the air, Jane was pushed around on these little spinny step things. Y'know the stairs with the wheels. Those!

I can't remember a whole lot because I was in awe of the experience 😔 BUT I will include other Jane Doe details!

Her actress, Mackenzie Leland, did Jane Doe's makeup herself!

When Jane was introduced to the choir, she walked through the audience and looked around at everyone. It was cool :3

For "Karnak's Dream of Life", Jane was up on the catwalk! She sang while on her stomach up here:

Jane dances with Mischa during "Talia". I might be grasping for straws here but I do think it COULD be symbolism for him like. not COMPLETELY knowing her. (HE DEFINITELY KNEW HER WELL! I'M JUST SAYING THAT HE DIDN'T COMPLETELY KNOW HER SINCE THEY DIDN'T EVER MEET IRL Y'KNOW...)

OOH THIS IS HARD... I ADORE all of the overall ones and 2016 ones equally SO I'm gonna choose something from The Contemporary! During TBOJD, all of the choir has lightbulbs except for Jane Doe. During the first "ooh"s, Jane reaches out for a lightbulb. On the "ah", it's yanked away from her. The lightbulbs represent their souls. Their stories. All of them except for Jane have them. In my audio recording you can hear me audibly gasp, and you can hear my friend say "I love metaphors".

What was Sabm like at Contemporary?

It was very fun!!! Here's the details:

The cat ear headbands were light-up!

There was a cat and galaxy blanket held up for Ricky's quick change. On the "meow"s, one of the girls would slide their hand across the blanket in a sultry manner

Ricky had funny blue and green wig

The girls had sparkly black tops!!! They looked like the night sky :3

Ricky's space age bach outfit had stars on it
