Hi again! Thanks for replying to my previous ask! So basically in the story Mirabel has the wings, horns and tail of a European dragon. The scale colors are aqua. (Needless to say the family panicked when they found out) To hide her dragon additions she wears a oversized gret woolen coat and matching hat. I hope this helps. Comparing the Shiganshina attack between chapter 92 and 1-2 I noticed the panels don't match at all and it's not just because Isayama improved his art. what do you think about this?

You mean chapter 96?

There’s art improvement on one hand because Isayama has been drawing panels after panels since 2009 and because he wanted to make the scene look different of what was originally intended.

The two scenes are different: when the CT crouched down in the recent scene, not a single titan was around, since they all rushed towards Reiner and Annie. Dina is the exception. 

Let’s say Isayama solidify his concepts on the fly, which is annoying since we base ourselves on previous chapters to determine how titan biology works. That was the same for his characters: tried to experiment with expressions at the beginning, sometimes barely even nailing his mains at the beginning (his conception of Eren changed when he heard Yuki Kaji), or radically shifting designs (R-63!middle-aged!Pieck, hello).

I’m gonna answer anon on the fly:

im gonna be honest im not feeling very good about isayama just freely retconning stuff now like Jaw Titan's appeareance (because Ymir didnt look at all like that and they just slighty changed her look a bit to fit with the Jaw Titan) and Armin's parents..

I feel the same and the retconning is often unpredictable. It’s likely Isayama didn’t plan to create a Jaw titan at the time, or if the idea of nine titans with unique abilities was in place. That’s how Ymir’s features changed from fangs and claws to regular teeth and nails. 

The whole scene where Marcel died also changed compared to the original. Probably after 93 because the scene wasn’t tragic enough, when the anime took the original version with Ymir’s titan already remodeled.

Meaning instead of facing Ymir bursting out of the ground and being paralyzed in fear, he slowly walked away from the group while Ymir crept on him. I have no idea if the “Wait...” gesture can be considered as canon when he wanted to reach Bertolt, because... the opposite happened: Reiner darted when Bertolt tried to reach him.

It came to the point I wonder who came first: the Smiling Titan or Dina Fritz? Did Isayama really planned to make Dina just a random titan, but then the concept evolved and she became Eren’s father’s ex with royal blood and stalking tendencies as a titan?

shoplifting fandom?

Yeah there’s a group on Tumblr who brag about shoplifting and how much money worth of stuff they can steal from stores. It’s not like they’re stealing food or basic necessities or even NEED to steal to survive (like Jean Valjean stealing bread to feed his family), they steal like perfume and jewelry and that kind of thing.  Personally, I don’t have an issue with people who steal in order to survive, but if you’re stealing frivolous stuff when you don’t need it and you’re middle class and above, you shouldn’t be shoplifting. It hurts employees, not the bigwig company CEOs. We all deserve nice things but stealing nice things for yourself isn’t okay. Trust me, I know how hard it is to save money. My family is super poor; we couldn’t even afford to buy groceries for the past few days and we had ran out of food so we’ve basically been starving since Monday. But stealing nice things is only hurting regular workers.  But anyway, idk why a large number of shoplifters have converged onto tumblr and we don’t really have a good name for them so someone coined the term “shoplifting fandom” and that’s what the popular term for them is. Or at least the term I know.
