At Comicpalooza I was lucky enough to be able to nab a commission from Skottie Young! :D He’s the writer of the story that introduced the Bucky Bear, and does a ton of awesome “Young Avenger” alternate covers, so I’d really been hoping to get this - a Winter Soldier hugging a Bucky Bear ^__^ Another guy in line was SUPER nice and gave me this alternate sketchcover for him to draw it on!  I’d been looking for more of these winter soldier cover blanks, but they’ve gotten hard to find! He was really sweet - and I was lucky to get this - he only did commissions if you could roll doubles on 2d6, and then did them while you watched :D  He said this was the commission he had the most fun with the first day of the con - and he loved our stuffed Bucky Bear! :D

hi hello I met tom holland at comicpalooza this past saturday and sunday and just wanted to say that tom holland is an actual sweetheart cutie pie adorable angel

My mom and I got to take pics with Tom holland and I got it signed as well! I got to shake his hand as well. He is definitely not as short as he looks in the movies! I also met Krysten Ritter and Charlie cox so i completed pics with all the defenders! They were both so sweet, shook hands with both and Krysten even let me take a pic of her during the signing! All in all it was a great weekend!

Holy cow you guys this was a record breaking show for me!

I’m so deeply touched, humbled, and thrilled by the turn out at Comicpalooza! You guys definitely made my weekend especially when it looked like it was going to be a little bleak. I’m pretty sure I practically danced into the place this morning because everyone’s generosity and kind words had put me in such a good mood.

My next confirmed show is going to be STAPLE, Sept 8 and 9 in Austin and y’all should come check it out! I’m really excited for it as it’ll be my first time there and I’m hoping to have some nifty new goodies with me that I hope everyone will like.

That said, I am looking at a couple of other shows that will happen before then. If I grab tables, I’ll let everyone know.

But again, I cannot express just how grateful I am for everyone’s support this weekend! It means the world to me!

Who would win in arm wrestling?  Jessica Jones or The Winter Soldier? Krysten Ritter was a DELIGHT to meet at Comicpalooza!  She was bubbly, sweet, and I had sketched a drawing of her + her adorable dog Mikey Mohawk and she absolutely squeed over it - I was so thrilled :D As I was walking away from the photo op, she called after me “Of course, I’d win!” Such a fun meeting, and LOVE how this photo turned out! <3

Ahhhhhh I saw tom Holland today @ comicpalooza. I’m going to get his autograph and do the photo op tomorrow so I was there for his panel today. He brought up 3 fans to the stage because he felt that couch was too bare. He was so sweet and so kind despite all the fans screaming ilus at him while he was trying to talk and answer questions. I would not have had his patience with the annoying screamings but he was really sweet!!
