I couldn't sleep, so I made a list of pokemon teams for Avatar the Last Airbender.

Katara- Lapras, Froslass (to represent the Painted Lady), Chansey (healing), Tentacruel? (poison type to represent bloodbending?), Primarina? (Starter?), Basculegion (to represent her tribe and their losses for which she fights)

• I purposefully made it so only the main characters/bad guys had more than 3 pokemon.

• I almost gave Zuko a Rayquaza, but he wouldn't have a legendary until he becomes Fire Lord

• Except for the Bouffalant, all Aang's pokemon can fly. (Regional varient that can fly?)

• As he is the Avatar, should all Aang's pokemon be shiny?

• Azula's crew all have an eeveelution. Azula has two, and I imagine the flareon used to belong to Zuko, but it was taken from him after the Agni Kai and banishment.

• Ty Lee wants to keep her eevee unevolved. Azula might convince her to "make it more powerful." If she does, it'll be a Sylveon.

• Zuko and Azula's mom got both of them a litleo each as kids.

• Fire Nation mostly use fire types, but electric are common enough. Earth Kingdom is mostly ground and rock, but steel is ok. Air Nomads obviously use mostly flying, but fairy is common. Water Tribes use mostly water and ice, but obviously the swamp tribe uses grass.

• The Earth King still has just a bear. It's not a pokemon. It's a bear.

OKAY FINALLY ANSWERING THIS HUSIUDHD SO SORRY I keep forgetting to answer these IUSUSHD. Okay hmm...For one thing I definitely think Lium would have a rockruff/lycanroc, rock dog fits him :). Hmm..Sena would honestly have an Espeon! Very regal and all-knowing in my opinion. Plus it's light purple and matches his aesthetic. Now I do think Demo would be basic and just have like, a Charizard, but he'd give it a cool hat and spiked arm bracelets to match his aesthetic. Clythe ... hmm... he'd have a Quagsire. He'd fucking love Wooper too. And then I think Seconds would have a...Oh y'know what my pmd fans that follow me will appreciate this i'm assigning Seconds Grovyle. Grovyle seems mysterious and awesome enough to be with Seconds they have the same energy. Okay now...I think Tetris would either have a Sylveon, Slurpuff, or a Hatterene. All three of those match his vibe tbh. And as for Zen? I think he'd have a Milotic actually! Big sea serpent with mysterious nature? Yeah that's his vibe /pos. Now for the rest of the URs hmm... Damien would have a Luxray!! Evil devious Pokemon that looks menacing and strong :). I honestly think Damien would be one of those villains that sits on a throne in an evil way while petting a little kitty. Except for him it'd be Luxray. Hmm and as for Aratsu... probably Solrock! Ik shitty choice but I think it matches his vibe...Also alternatively Polteageist!! IK that might sound more like a Damien thing but Damien doesn't want a small pokemon he'd definitely want something big. OKAY UHH Tila! Tila would maybe have a.. Oh fuck yeah she'd have Houndoom. Hi I have some silly TWST oc x Pokemon stuff I threw together a few days ago

So here’s the deal (I will make a potion that will turn you GAY got that? GA— /ref)

Every oc has a team of six Pokémon, can be from any generation, and each oc is allowed ONE legendary, mythical or ultra-beast (I didn’t end up needing this for the most part, but it is a rule I gave myself! I didn’t want to make their teams SUPER overpowered, but some of them would fit rlly well with those high status Pokemon so I allowed one per team)

All Pokemon in the team have to be around the same level, or at least close in level, so they function like gym leaders, elite four members, or champions do. They can’t pull a fast one on you by having mostly lvl 20 Pokemon and then pulling out a lvl 100 Pokemon. They also have to have REALISTIC teams.

Other than that, I gave myself free reign to do whatever with their teams.

Most of Comet's Pokemon evolve via love and companionship, or are strongly tied to their trainers via love. Hatterene and Gardevoir, for example, are both extremely empathetic Pokemon. Gardevior's Pokedex entry suggests it will create a small black hole in order to protect its trainer, while Hatterene is incredibly sensitive to emotion and may lash out if the emotions around it are too strong.

Floette is famous for being the cause of war in Pokemon X and Y, while also being a little flower fairy (which has the same energy as Comet just being a sweet little space nerd but also being PRINCESS OF HELL in some AUs), while Meloetta is famous for its music that brings peace around it (correlated to her unique magic).

Lunatone is the odd one out here, but it's because Lunatone is a Hoenn Pokemon (my fav region) and a space-themed Pokemon.

Most of her Pokémon have at least one healing most, and otherwise mostly have damaging moves. Comet is a healer, so that much makes sense, but she uses a lot of damaging move rather than setup due to her impulsivity and habit of reacting emotionally, rather than logically.

Aurora (Amy's shiny Sylveon) was named cause he was caught in the snow! I actually have a whole idea for a story bout that encounter!

When she put her own life at risk to help out a pokemon she was admittedly afraid of (Frillish). Well we know how she got that recklessness heh

When Ash won the world championship. Everyone in the moment was ecstatic :D Next to that is probably when Aurora evolved :)

Galatea the Star ⭐

Lucibelle did a post with all her pokemon, so I figured it'd be fun to do something similar!

So starting off with the rare blue-hued beauty... Lumine, my shiny gardevoir!

I found Lumine when she was just a little ralts in Hoenn's tall grass. I didn't even know she was shiny, but I adored her from the beginning! She is easily the most elegant pokemon on my team.

Next up is the toughest pokemon on my team, the brawn to absolute beauty: Saturn, my toxicroak!

I've been told Saturn is rather large for a toxicroak, but I think that's just extra muscle from doing heavy lifting and athletics for Pokemon Contests. You'd be surprised how little toxicroak actually move around in pokemon battles. I've also taught Saturn how to beatbox, and while it's impressive, it always surprises toxtricity.

Of course brains follow beauty and brawn, so my next pokemon is clever Mercury, my eelektross!

Mercury was always fun in contest battles, because every time I pull her out, someone always tries to get points with earthquake. It's always such a grand blunder, with Mercury literally above it all! I believe the "levitate" ability Mercury has gives us a unique competitive edge not just available in battle.

Everyone knows a contest coordinator's team isn't complete without a cute and a cool pokemon, and this team's charm and charisma comes from Chibi the Sylveon and Comet the Salamence!

Chibi was a tiny little Eevee when I first caught her, and her adorable attitude immediately endeared me to her! Now it might seem cliche to have a pink lil' fairy type in the cuteness category, but it's a testament to skill when you can still do something unique with what people consider "standard."

The same goes for Comet. Nobody can deny the coolness of a dragon type flying faster than a speeding jet. Those blood moon crescent wings and that fierce roar are so iconic!

And last but not least... Jupiter, the real star of my squad, the ace and center, and my starter pokemon. My quaquaval.

Jupiter was there since the beginning of my Treasure Hunt, right when I enrolled in Uva. The two of us danced together, battled together, laughed together, cried together... And it's a little cliche, but I don't know where I'd be without him! He's my number one fan.

Klink - Gizmo - Ethan’s first pokemon and he loves it greatly. Ethan doesn’t get into pokemon battles too often so Gizmo hasn’t evolved yet

Shiny Ditto - Squisher ‘Goo Boy’ - Ethan’s second pokemon that does nothing to help against goo jokes. Likes to turn into things and mess with Ethan 

Tyler

Onix - Magnus - Tyler’s first pokemon, a loyal rock snake. Tends to lay around most of the time when not in a pokeball and sort of lazy

Primeape - Jolinn - Tyler’s second pokemon and the one he usually starts with in battles. During his youth, he had a ‘Best Like No One Ever Was’ phase, like many, and Jolinn helped him get his other pokemon

Sharpedo - Impede - Tyler’s favorite swimming buddy and a good fish. Tends to circle Tyler when they’re swimming together and keeps other pokemon and people away because he’s selfish

Maractus - Aria - Aria likes to be out of her pokeball, but then again what pokemon doesn’t. Constantly making music that often matches the current events like a soundtrack

Kathryn

Glameow - Marzipan - strangely loving and chill for a purugly, loves to lay around. Isn’t too fond of Aria constantly making noise, but the two have steadily created a type of friendship after having to live together for so long

Jack

Torterra - Ramita - Jack’s first pokemon. He’s had Ramita since the pokemon was a turtwig, and the two of them are inseparable. The pokemon made his first video appearance in Jack’s ‘I Love Nature’ vlog

Phantump - Antiseptic - Jack’s second pokemon a cutie that floats about and follows Jack everywhere. He’s had him for nearly as long as Ramita. Is a bit camera shy. People would see him off camera and stared making theories

Pumpkaboo - Lara - Jack’s newest pokemon he’s only had for 1 or 2 years. Along with Antiseptic, she helped out in Jack’s first Anti video. Also like Antiseptic, she’s a little shy but loves seeing new people at the same time with ends up with her hiding in Jack’s jackets and under his shirts a lot

Mark

Houndoom - Scourge - Mark’s first pokemon he’s had since he was roughly ten, very possibly younger, ever since Scourge was a houndour. Many fans associate Scourge with Dark, as he tends to appear in videos with him, but Scourge actually loves Mark. He’s protective and loyal. 

Sylveon - Mirum - Mark’s second pokemon. He caught Mirum as an eevee, and a lot of people suggested going for a Flareon, for going for a fire-based team. But Mark just let Mirum be and loved him until he evolved into Mirum. Usually shows up in Wilford videos. Is a bit of a trouble maker.

Minior - Comet - A cute little floaty ball of space. Likes to orbit around Mark’s house. Of the indigo variety. Likes to drag Mark over to mundane Earth things that are pretty or cool or strange.

Archinine - Chica - Mark’s newest pokemon. Mark picked Chica up from the shelter as a high-level growlithe. For a while Scourge was bothered by her, but she grew on him like mold. Likes to snuggle up with Mark. One day was rummaging around Mark’s room and found the fire stone once meant for Mirum, becoming an archinine. 

Random thought: usually when celebrities are out in public, it’s considered a good idea to have at least one pokemon out as like protection, added security. Most youtubers will have their pokemon out with that reason in mind for cons and such. Ethan usually uses Gizmo, Tyler brings out Jolinn, Jack uses Ramita, and Mark constantly has Scourge at his side. Kathryn and Amy don’t usually have to worry about that kind of thing, but they’d use Mazipan and Aria.

Angel/Devil on your shoulder AU: Monoma and Midoriya are Shinsou’s shoulder devil and angel, their advice is almost always terrible, no one else can see them except Aizawa who is stuck with Mic and Yagi as his devil and angel 

Pokemon AU: UA is a pokemon school that has classes for trainers, rescuers, breeders, pokenurses, pageants etc; Midoriya always wanted to be a trainer and eventually take on the elite four but no pokemon he tried to catch or was given to him would listen to him, the most drastic case being a cyndiquil named Kacchan that was hyper-aggressive towards him. One day Kacchan runs off and Midoriya finds him being rather friendly to a black haired boy who seemed to be upset and alone in a park. Seeing as the pokemon responded much better to the boy than himself (and the boy appears to have no pokemon of his own), Midoriya gives Kacchan to the boy but leaves before the other can thank him, let alone ask his name. 

Years pass with Midoriya deciding to be a nurse instead since pokemon only seem to come to him for help, such as Shoto (a vulpix that’s been purposefully bread to be half Kanto, half Alolan which causes him health issues as well as showing clear signs of abuse), Neito (a shiny evee that was bred for pageants but was abandoned because he would not evolve and was very picky about following commands), as well as Dabi (a houndoom with severe burns, strangely the one who brought Shoto to Midoriya in the first place, though he only visits, never stays) and, after joining UA, Hitoshi (an inkay who was only supposed to be temp taking care of for Aizawa until he could better take care of him, Hitoshi becomes attached to Midoriya though and even evolves into Malamar) 

During his time there Midoriya makes friends with Hatsume, a girl working on making and perfecting poketech, Iida, a trainer student who wants to become a police officer (Midoriya ends up giving Shoto to him after the Stain Incident), Honenuki, a trainer student who ends up doing occasional pageants (He ends up with Neito after their mutual friend, Kendo, was unable to keep the evee because of all the trouble he got into especially with her aggron, Tetsutetsu. Neito evolves into a sylveon under his care), and Kirishima, who turns out to be the boy Midoriya gave Kacchan to all those years ago (though Kirishima calls him Bakugou because the now typhlosion refuses to answer to Kacchan)

Fantasy AU: Midoriya is a young man on a journey, during which he runs into a chained up dragon who calls himself Dabi. Dabi tells Midoriya that he is actually a man who’s been cursed and wishes to return to his home country of Endeavor to see his family. Midoriya is obviously swayed by the dragon’s story and their (mis)adventure begins, lots of fighting, magic, sass, angst, and Dabi being a soft big (dragon) bro

Celestial AU: Everyone is some kind of celestial body, mostly stars, comets, and meteors. Touya has a comet’s body but a meteor’s fire, Midoriya is a star, and Yagi is a sun. After Enji quite literally throws Touya out of his solar system, claiming he’s dangerous to the others as their mother, the comet Rei, was, Touya drifts aimlessly and almost falls into the blackhole known as All for One only to be pulled in by Yagi’s gracitational pull. Yagi offers to let Touya stay in his solar system where he meets Midoriya and others; lots of fluff and found family.
