so your friends and loved ones try to help you by talking to them, and the person must be saying something to them, because they look at you differently now. but you have no idea what it was, all you hear is static.

you try to tell them not to listen to the person, but no matter what you do, no matter how much you plead with them, they look up at you with suspicion-hatred-fear and just run. they don’t care where they’re going, just that you’re not there. and you can’t do anything to stop it.

the more that the people in your life care about you, the worse it is, because anyone who tries to help is turned against you. so you are just gradually shut out of your own life by the people you love the most, until eventually you no longer recognize your surroundings.

i dont think ive ever seen anybody acknowledge that ruby and pearl have one GIANT thing in common that i think would make them besties. they both made their bosses fall in love with them by being awesome at their jobs

they dismantled the gem bourgeois by making the upper crusts fall in love with a working class woman. and i think that should be celebrated more! working wives built the revolution one relationship at a time 💪

Pearl was so creative she gave rose an outlet to be herself. Ruby was so good at her security detail that she changed fate! Working women changed the world

I always see people have Yang be protective over Ruby whenever she dates Weiss, but I hardly see people showing Winter being protective over Weiss whenever she dates Ruby because I could see Winter setting up a whole interview like conversation with Ruby to see if she is qualified to date her sister lol

Since they had become friends, Louis liked to invite Dayton around to play after school every now and then. The two of them had become pretty close by now, and they loved playing games that made use of the space the big house and yard provided, as well as causing a bit of mischief.

One of those games they liked to play was hide-and-seek. This time, it was Dayton's turn to hide, while Louis stood in a corner of his room and counted to ten.

Dayton had been taking his sweet time looking for a hiding spot, so he was barely out of the room, when Louis had finished counting. Knowing that he would be found as soon as Louis opened the door, he had to think quick, so he could have a chance at winning. So, he took a turn around the corner and opened the door he was met with, to hide away in there.

Meanwhile, Ruby enjoying some quiet alone time in her room, while Dorothy was busy playing outside. Entranced in the book she was reading, she let out a surprised gasp, when the door suddenly opened and Dayton jumped in, closing it again quickly.

Since starting school, the twins had come up with their own little rules for their room. One of them was that Louis and his boy friends were not allowed to enter. Louis always made sure to follow this rule, but Dayton was not thinking much about it, when he had entered the first door he had touched. However, now that he was there, he figured his best shot was to get his friend's little sister to help him hide.

Ruby, who had first been annoyed at having her reading time disturbed, was now warming up to the boy sitting next to her. It was silly, but she could not help but smile at him, even though he was just her brother's stupid older friend.

Unfortunately for her, Dayton was quickly bored with just sitting around in his perfect hiding spot and decided it was time to leave. Ruby wished he would have stayed for just a bit longer, but she did not want to embarrass herself in front of him now, so she let him go.

[TRANSCRIPT]

Louis: "...six...seven...eight, nine, ten! Ready or not, here I come!"

Dayton: "Oh, bollocks!"

Ruby: *gasp* "What are you doing? Can't you see I'm reading?"

Dayton: "Sorry, mind if I hide away in your room for a bit?"

Ruby: "You're not supposed to be in here, actually. I don't think my dad would be very happy about-"

Dayton: "Shhh!"

Ruby: "!"

Louis: "Dayton? Where are you?"

Dayton: *whispers* "Louis mustn't know I'm in here."

Louis: "I hope you're not in the girls' room! You know they don't want us in there!"

Dayton: *laughs quietly*

Ruby: *laughs along nervously*

Dayton: "Welllll, I should probably come out of hiding. He isn't gonna look in here, and I don't wanna be a spoilsport."

Ruby: "Already?"

Dayton: "Yeah, I'm not supposed to be here, anyway."

Dayton: "Hey, if you want, you and Dot can join us some time. I wouldn't mind, and Louis wouldn't either."

Ruby: "Right..."

so there’s a bit of an agreed upon re-write on how it is Weiss comes back to “vale?” idunno, because Weiss is by all means a Stubborn one, she wasn’t just gonna go back home on a few heart felt words, it was going to go down as a scuffle and one that she of course started no less.

I just saw people asking about your black ops OCs and I wanted to ask what do they think about Bell and if they were around the Cold War timeline?

Fletcher, Ruby, and Garnet are both in the Cold War timeline. They're not with Adler though. They're dealing with their own businesses in Tehran in 1981-1982, so they're not present in the Safe House gang.

But IF they were, I think Fletcher Ruby and Garnet would be the FRIENDLIEST towards Bell. They'll get close to Bell, even interact with them on a regular basis. Makes them food, drinks, and even trade jokes.

Is it all part of their ploy to gain info from Bell? Yes. 100%. Would they care for Bell though? Absolutely. In a way they empathize with Bell's fate of being "used" for the greater good. Ruby and Garnet themselves were Fletcher's victims after all.

However, once Bell's dead by Adler's hands, Ruby and Garnet would quickly move on from them. Bell's not the first person they care about to have to betray.

Still, it adds to their emotional burden and will be one of the reasons why they would run away from Fletcher and MI6.
