Silly Besties back then, Still are Now...

Zane's friend name is Melodi Loud. She met him at a Carnival when she was 10 in a half yrs old and he was 12yrs. They ran into each other when he heard her singing & wandering around while he was eating cotton candy and then walk to her and made a balloon heart knot for her and they started hanging out a lot ever since. But then one day while Zane was going to perform, Melodi volunteer to get on stage with him and then one of the flaming rings tipped over nearly falling right next to Melodi. Worried that she'd get hurt, Zane pushes her out of the way and ended up getting on fire. Seeing him on fire, she took a spray bottle and mange to put him out, but unfortunately, he was scarred with burns on his left cheek, chest, and hand.

15 years after that, Zane (now 27yrs old) is now retired and is now working at a Cafe serving ice cream and other kinds of sweet desserts. And on his way back at his home, he sees a moving truck next door and sees his old friend Melodi (now 25yrs old) coming out from the back of the truck. And the two are closer than ever.

Clown Month is an event held in August, in the same vein as Inktober or Mermay, where you create one piece of art for every day of the month.

The only goal of the event is to inspire art and celebrate clowns, so the prompts are entirely optional - you can skip prompts, combine them, ignore them entirely, only do certain days... just have fun!

This is open to all forms of art! Drawing, writing, makeup, doll-making, ...

It’s been a minute since I last designed a character for myself and made a little ref sheet to go with it! Making this ref sheet was SOO fun that I decided I want to start offering them for commissions again. I would describe this as a small ref sheet since it has a single full body and a bust, so my goal is to make sure that the next one I do (For another character I’m designing) is a large ref sheet that will show more of the body (front/back).

Anyway, please give Marigold some love! She’s a golden lab/retriever mix and loves spending her days painting, lounging around in nature, eating edibles and yummy treats like strawberries, crackers and cheese. ✨
