I said today was part 1 so here I am. Penn zero part time hero was a Disney channel cartoon which ran during mid 2010s and ended with a Celestial being saying phase 2 is next, but we never got that. So, what if we did?

A new cast of 5, Lloyd and 7 episodes, released weekly. Here's how episodes 1-5 would go.

If you read my custom Luis and the aliens sequel, you'll know how we transition in: Lloyd accepts a mentor like role in phase 2 of the plan. Episode 1 shows us the life of the 5 others as Lloyd slowly asks them all to meet at the old oddessy building, in which two males and three females join to make a fair squad. These 5 come from different backgrounds, and each share a trait required for the phase, except Lloyd, of course. We enter the old clown world with the five taking new forms, Lloyd remaining as he is, but keeping distance because of all the clown pies and flower jets. A normal episode.

Episode 2 would be the wild west, and they have to find a runaway train and stop the bandits. One of them rides a dinosaur.

Episode 3 is superheroes and a normal evil plot, Lloyd references the boys by mentioning what people may be like with powers and being sorely mistaken. He's also picked up on Dark Rune myths, so Episode 4 is different.

After what Lloyd's been through, prior to the show here, He goes to a head spa with none other than Sashi kobayashi and hugs her like they're close. (He's the only one she's never punched) This one is interesting as the five have to focus on a mission without him and succeed. However, two of them hear whisperers. One of them wants to follow, but the other knows to alert Lloyd and Gladys. The setting is victorian times.

Episode 5 is the final old universe we visit and shows how far everyone's come. Gladys says the whispers aren't worrying, but Lloyd refutes that with the dark Runes, predicting they're back. Lloyd cannot be taken off the phase under singularity's orders, so she tells him that if it's true, they'll take appropriate action and regale a short myth of the M.A, to which he softly says: he knows...

Caesar Clown in the Actor AU?

He's one of the older actors on the set, around in his 50s.

The guy is severely allergic to cats but that doesn't stop him from adoring them, especially Sashi (Zoro's cat).

Upon learning the name of his character, he thought that he'd be acting a nice and funny character.

His daughter was the one who broke the news for him and lectured him about One Piece.

In the end he ended up reading the whole thing (or at least what was there) and realising that it wasn't exactly a funny kid's series but rather a dystopian story about humans glorifying bloodshed.

During the filming of one of the episodes, he got a call from a hospital telling him that his daughter was giving birth. They stopped filming immediately so he could go to support her.

He is now a proud grandfather of twins.

He has a degree in rocket science and astrophysics.

Good Shit - Penn Zero: Part Time Hero

This was the best Sliders AU ever

Anybody remember Sliders? No? Okay. Penn Zero is an alternate universe show where three kids valiant kids (Penn, Boone, & Sashi) go through different timelines to solve massive problems that exist there while making sure they get home on time. Sashi is best slayer, Boone is worst player. It reminds me of an old Disney pilot, Fluppy Dogs, where it was like Infinity Train crossed with Homeward Bound. It was a pretty fun pilot.

The 80s was a fluffy, bizarre time

Penn-Zero, while being adventurous and pretty imaginative, can be very heartful while still being a basic good vs evil series. You may have the same six characters in every episode, but you learn a lot about them both in the universes they explore and in their original world. It can be formulaic, but the execution in the episodes are what make or break your investment in them. But seriously: Clowns, anime, pirates, plushies, dragons, action figures

DINO Riders? That was the best version; this show had everything

If there’s any downside to the show, it would be the humor that’s considerably hit-or-miss depending on who you are. I’d say the best thing about this series is Larry, main villain Rippen’s sidekick, just for the fact that he practically the successful person in this series (being a millionaire and the Principal of the heroes’ school) and yet enjoys being second banana in the plots for evil. That and Larry Wilmore is just an all-around cool guy like, man, if I could just have breakfast with him, I’d be a happy critic.

But like the Nightly Show, many good things must come to an abrupt end for bullshit reasons

Yeah, Penn Zero unfortunately ended after two seasons, with its second season premiering everything in less than two weeks. I mean, for fuck sakes, Disney just wanted this done and over with, huh? The 7D, another 2 season Disney cartoon, got to air their last season weekly all last year; this is an insult. Looking at the ratings for Penn Zero, they were in the 0.10 levels, which is the worst attention your show could get. I hate this. They rarely hyped it up on TV, it binged everything in a matter of days, and it will probably get reruns around dead morningtime with other finished shows while stupid shit like Walk the Prank and Kirby Buckets gets to live practically gallantly. Wander, Milo Murphy’s Law, Star vs. Evil, and Billy Dilley suffered the same treatment, and it sucks that Penn Zero generally got the worst of it. *Whispers* The same thing happened to Kirby Buckets? *Whispers* Dear lord. Disney XD just doesn’t care.

For a short lived series, I had a great time seeing this series. The many worlds they brought to life still make this the most clever show imaginable and I’m glad the creators did all they could to give it that original zing to dimension hopping shows like Rick and Morty, Time Warp Trio, and (again) Sliders could do with their universal premises. It was satisfactory, with good vibes that co-creator Jared Bush can make something as good as this and Zootopia.

At least there are good things coming in exchange

Hm. Nightcall...well, it always makes me think of Corpse Bride for some reason...but I’m also thinking of Persona 4′s Naoto and Kanji. Like, Naoto is calling Kanji from a payphone in the rain, asking for help on a case. Maybe he’s injured.

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

Valentine from Skullgirls, because she’s my main, has a great concept, and she’s a complex, interesting villain.

Misery from Ruby Gloom is adorable, hilarious, and relatable. 

Relius and Hazama from Blazblue, and it’s a tie because best villains. Hazama has an incredibly entertaining personality and skillset, and Relius and the Clover family are just...jesus christ.

F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

I don’t think pre-internet would count, but if it did, Sailor Moon. From age six to present.

If not, Mario RPGS. And Batman. (Specifically the Animated Series) For both of those, probably going on ten to twelve years. Still in them.

R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom? 

Sam & Max are, of course, the gold standard.

Kind of a retread of my earlier answer, but George and Harold are an amazing pair. Troy and Abed from Community. And Penn Zero with Sashi and Boone. Triple fist bump!

I also enjoy the friendships in Soul Eater and Blue Exorcist. Good stuff.

Arg. I’ll try to pick one. 

Soul Eater’s Death the Kidd. I wish I could see myself as Excalibur or Stein, but I’m really just Kidd. I let my mental hangups really get to me. I’m scared I’m unable to live up to the success of my family. I strive for perfection, but I’ll forget everything if I feel the execution isn’t worth attempting. And I too grope female friends I am not not romantically interested in. 

Because I’m in love with  man who’s got an unusual hair colour.
