The Clone Wars was so funny because it's like: okay we're going to show the clones as individuals and good guys and they're going to work very closely with the Jedi. And the Jedi are Jedi so they're going to be friendly and care about them. The Jedi will also be the bulk of the characters we see that view and treat the clones as autonomous individuals and encourage them to see themselves as more than soldiers.

Like tcw had to create the chips to explain away why the Clones would ever follow an order to slaughter a bunch of Jedi much less their younglings.

Because the alternative was making the Jedi incompetent, uncaring, corrupt and so villainous the clones would have no problem shooting their Generals in the back, and the Jedi aren't those things.

So Sidious was like: okay the clones will view the Jedi as their slavers since they will be the ones giving orders (even though I have forced the Jedi onto those positions) and of course follow my command to slaughter them when the time comes to enact Order 66.

(Sidious looks out the window and watches as Mace Windu helps a little old lady across the street and Yaddle floats a tooka kitten out of a tree) .... Hm

Everytime i read an AU where the war ends and the clones get rights and everything i cant help but wonder how they would dress.

You have these guys who have literally NEVER had to dress themselves. There were always uniforms and they have primarily been around clones and jedi and then the war is over and they just have to start?? Wearing normal clothes??

I feel like this scenario would end in some of the most horrendous outfits the galaxy has ever seen. Just millions of very very badly dressed men.
