I'm so tired of the excuses and justification:

The way the TBB writers (and by extension the characters) treat the "reg" clones is unacceptable. Period.

The sad realization that a clone can spend the rest of their life with their significant other but their significant other can’t spend the rest of their life with them, because the clones essentially only have a half life.

So even if a few clones are able to break away and have a happy life, even that is taken away from them too soon.

Just wrote this spur of the moment on my local discord server, cried a bit and thought to add it here soooo....Rex whump! Basically discussing how Rex just deserves to break down and us all saying it probably happened when he was burying the others after the crash ;-;

Rex is the one to find Jesse. Jesse who is broken. Jesse who is cold. Jesse who's face is slack, who's skin is grey. Jesse who's laughter still rings clear in his head, who's arm he can still feel the weight of wrapped around his shoulders.

Jesse who's endured. Jesse who's been at his side and helped him bear the weight of countless battles and losses. Jesse who was the first to offer a drink and toast in celebration for another mission accomplished.

Jesse, Jesse, Jesse…

His fingers twitch, he slowly reaches out to touch his cheek.

"Jesse?"

He expects his eyes to flutter open, to see his chest heave and a breath push past those lips.

"Jesse…"

His voice comes out more desperate, Jesse's face becomes blurry, he can't see him clearly any more. Rex's eyes burn and as both his hands come to hold Jesse's face.

"Jesse!"

He barks out his name, like an order, like his voice could somehow pulls him back from the far away place he's gone to.

"Please…"

He brings his forehead to his and…he can't help it. He can't hold back the scream. He can't contain it any longer.

Please, please…please…

Over and over he begs, he doesn't notice the hand on his back nor the arms that wrap around him.

He simply can't.

This is from a couple of weeks ago. Sorry I haven't posted it. But it's very short and I know folks will be disappointed.

Instead of getting a flurry of texts, this time, I ran into The Internet's Favorite Nerd Cajun earlier while we were both walking our dogs that morning.

Guys, what happened to the tubies? What happened to the baby clones? In 'Aftermath' we see that the tubes are still full of baby clones but in the finale they are all empty.

Why would the Empire bother killing them separately if they were just going to bomb the city anyway? Where did they go? What happened to the baby clones!??!

Okay the thing that gets me about Nemec is that I thought he insta-died when Rex told him to fix the comms and the panel blew. Bc that is such a clone death™ like Greer died that way two minutes earlier, just silently thrown by an explosion and never hear about them again. BUT THEN HE GOT UP! And he was okay! And he escaped and took off his helmet and had his cute little moment with Batcher and aaaahhh I thought he was safe dammit! :((((((((
