Vous êtes nostalgique du Citroën Type H (ou HY), vous rêvez que Citroën lance une version moderne de cet utilitaire qui fête en 2017 ses 70 ans? Ne rêvez plus. Des designers ont créé un kit qui permet de convertir le Citroën Jumper en Type H du XXIe siècle. Et une version camping-car a même été imaginée…

Les deux designers, Fabrizio Caselani et David Obendorfer, ont eu une idée pour le moins insolite afin de rendre hommage au mythique Citroën Type H "nez de cochon", qui fêtera prochainement son 70ème anniversaire. Le duo a en effet créé un kit carrosserie néo-rétro, adaptable sur l'actuel Citroën Jumper. On retrouve les différents panneaux de tôles ondulées, l'immense calandre marquée du double chevron ou encore les deux phares ronds. La base est le nouveau Jumper Le designer Fabrizio Caselani (aidé de David Obendorfer) a décidé de rendre hommage à son compatriote Flaminio Bertoni, à l’origine du dessin du H, en réinterprétant ce design si particulier.

Encore un concept car néo-rétro sans lendemain me direz-vous ? Et bien pas du tout, car si le look est tout à fait réussi! on reconnait sous la tôle ondulée la ligne du Citroën Jumper moderne. Voilà vous y êtes, il s’agit d’un kit carrosserie en fibre pour habiller un Jumper et lui donner ce délicieux look rétro! déclinable à l’envie en utilitaire campagnard, food truck ou encore minibus d’aventurier. Le kit « Type H 70th Anniversary » sera produit par FC Automobili. Malheureusement il se voit limité à 70 exemplaires, du coup peu de chances d’en croiser un dans la rue ! à moins que Citroën ne tombe sous le charme et trouve un accord de l’autre côté des Alpes. Moi en tous cas ça me plairait de voir des Type H modernes égayer un peu notre quotidien ! Sinon, à quand le kit pour transformer le Renault Traffic en Estafette ? Galerie Photos Citroen Type H
