Watching the cell phone episode of "The Mega Brands That Built America" has me remembering that time I got a Blackberry Pearl just for the scroller ball and internet connection, and trying to update my LiveJournal during a power outage.

My first cell phone was a Nokia, a dark blue candy bar phone. My custom ringtone was a midi version of Sting's Desert Rose. Remember Cingular?
