People were wondering why Tommy was at Chris's party over 118
This was valid, but I have some thoughts on this.
Chris didn't really hang out with 118 all that much. He knows them. Hen, Bobby, Chimney.
But he did hang out with Tommy. Remember when Buck was ranting that Chris was thinking "Tommy was so cool"?
In a weird way Tommy DOES have a connection with Christopher. One that fans have forgotten about. But Eddie didn't. Eddie was wanting to use everything in his power to make it a fun party for his son.
So he invited two people he knew Christopher thought was awesome
Buck, and Tommy.

Best 10 Books in.....Sci Fi/Fantasy
I’ve comprised a list of the 10 best books from the sci fi/fantasy genre. This list is in no particular order and this list is only my opinions based on what books I’ve read in the past. Enjoy! Kat Bateson, and her two younger siblings, attend a boarding school located inside an old castle, other children begin disappearing and it’s a race against time to find out the cause. This book begins a…

Mama - eddie/reader
Summary: A week after the birth of Jee-Yun, Christopher has something to ask Y/N. Eddie/reader, Shannon never came back in S2.
Tumblr media
A week after the birth of Jee-Yun, Christpher crawls into bed with Y/N, waking her with his clumsy movements.
"You alright, love?" she asks softly, running a hand over his back as he settles on the empty side of the bed, wrapping his arms around Eddie's pillow. He's quiet for a long moment, his heavy breathing the only sign of life; it's been a little while since he'd had a nightmare, but he was more prone to them when Eddie was working.
"I want…" he hesitates, taking a deep breath. "I know I had a mommy, but I want to…"
Y/N can see where he's going with his train of thought, but she turns to properly face him without interrupting him.
"What can I call you?" he finally asks. "Mommy is wrong but you're doing those things."
He's not wrong; she makes his lunch, drives him to school, takes care of him when he's sick, is there through his meltdowns, no matter how bad, and loves him deeply.
"How does 'mama' sound?" Y/N offers, and he thinks about it before testing it out, letting the word hang in the air.
"I like it," he finally says, his sleepy happiness making her want to giggle.
She leans over, kissing his cheek before settling down beside him, "Get some sleep."
The next morning when Eddie arrives home, Chris doesn't hesitate to use Y/N's new name, "Daddy, Mama made pancakes!"
"I can see," he murmurs, chuckling softly as he makes his way around the table, dropping a kiss to Chris' hair before reaching Y/N.
"Good morning, Mama," he greets, kissing her softly on the cheek, and she rolled her eyes. He knew, and given Chris didn't have a phone, it meant he knew ahead of time.
"When did he talk to you about it?" she asks quietly as she puts a set of pancakes on a plate for him and he chuckles.
"A few days ago, he said that Jee-Yun being born made him think about it," he admits, "but he didn't know what to call you so was waiting until he figured it out."
"He gave up on waiting and asked me directly," she says, turning to Chris and ruffling his hair. "I don't mind being woken up at 2am if it's for things like that."
He giggles through a mouthful of pancakes, and Y/N turns back to Eddie, kissing him properly. She loved her place in this family, she'd found her home, and Chris wanting to refer to her as a mother, as his mother, truly made her feel like it was permanent.

I LITERALLY sorry for caps
i literally could write a dissertation abt the way House tackles grief. i really could.
this patient with the brother has me losing my entire marbles. this patient's brother died as a child, and in response to the grief, his mother removed all photos of christopher, stopped mentioning him-- they pretended he never existed. but his brother kept 1 photo of him, heard his voice, wanted to remember him. asked to hear more about him. and his mom was so reticent to do it. the patient was hearing christopher's voice as 1 of his symtpoms, and when he was cured, lamented that christpher was now gone. and now, his mom pulls out an envelope of all the pictures of christopher, letting them remember together.
the feeling of being/feeling unable to grieve your loss, either bc of internalized or external messaging that grieving is for some reason unsafe is called disenfranchised grief.
experiencing disenfranchised grief means you're not able to grieve fully, properly. remembering your person keeps them alive. Only death without love, without remembrance, is permanent.
someone dying doesn't mean they aren't in your life anymore, even if no one else remembers them.
you remembering them keeps a piece of them alive. what the fuck these episodes are cinema. i wannna show these to my grief specialist classmates lol

Really enjoyed listening to the "Buffy" Audible series "Slayers"!!! :D I normally don't like audiobooks, as I prefer to actually read books, but this felt more like an audiodrama or radio series since they brought back so many of the actors which made it much easier for me to listen too. Going to write this without spoilers but overall I liked it. Felt like one of the "Buffy" novels I loved as a teenager (and still have) and nice for Christpher Golden to even reference some of his past works in the books. Loved this being narrated by Spike and getting all these AU versions of Cordy, Drucilla, Anya, and Tara. I liked the new slayer Indria too and that she's a Spuffy shipper. LOL Myself being a Spuffy shipper I was fine with it too and everything is open ended. And with it being open ended I'm hoping they do more of these, bringing back more of the cast, even doing stories set with this AU still, and maybe making print versions too as I think some Audible ones have gotten print releases. So I totally rec it especially if you loved the "Buffy" novels.
