Claude Rains Character Masterlist!
Here's a handy-dandy guide of all the wonderful characters Claude Rains has portrayed over a nearly seven decade long career. We encourage all to have a gander at all these invisible men, prefects of police, fathers, criminal masterminds, otherworldly beings, and men of history alike! Each link will take you to a picture of that specific character, so even if you're not familiar with them, you can send in propaganda anyhow (such as 'what a lovely wig!', 'astonishing facial hair!', or even 'such a beautiful hat!'). We also realize that two of these characters share a name - John Stevenson (from The Last Outpost and Strange Holiday, respectively), so when submitting propaganda for these characters, please indicate which one! We will try our best to sort through the submissions regardless!
List is in chronological order, however, we are omitting for reasons explained in the pinned post the characters of Clarkis from Build Thy House and The Mayor from The Pied Piper of Hamelin!

The Time I Wore a Silicone Nose and Sunglasses for an Hour
I’m always typecast. Like Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, and Vincent Price before me, people always look to me to play the bad guy. This is not just hyperbole! Once in the church Christmas play I was not only asked to play the nasty Roman soldier but also the execrable King Herod! In the same play! I could have been one of the three wise men or a shepard come to worship the Christ, or even a camel, but no… I play the guy who murders a whole bunch of babies. Great. So, when it comes time for our class to perform The Three Little Pigs guess who I’m asked to be.
I really don’t mind being typecast. Like an actor who plays a superhero to too long, I Have learned to accept my role and even revel in it. I bought a wolf nose of amazon and put on some knock off Wayfarers (if you’re going to be bad you might as well be cool too) and my costume was complete.
I’ve only seen plays and skits used twice in my placements, which is too bad. They’re a tremendous boon to most subjects. I saw one of my teachers in the fifth grade have her class divide in to groups and perform a play of their own writing on the water cycle. It went terribly. Everyone was confused. It’s harder to play an inanimate object. Joan Shultz my placement teacher used plays to great effect in kindergarten. In her class, they were much more engaging. About five children would reenact a known story (often the three little Bears) while the rest of class observed. This kept the entire class completely engaged through the whole process which I think is one of the biggest strengths of plays. The other strength is that is requires the participants to have a rather high level of the concept or story they are attempting to portray.

There are only 12 Republicans who voted against the tax bill (which is the biggest and the best according to our Liar in Chief). Not! As today is December 25, which marks the beginning of the 12 days of Christmas ending on January 5 (the day before Epiphany), I thought it only apropos to list them here: Congressional reps from NY: John Faso, Lee Zeldin, Dan Donovan; From North Carolina: Pete King, Walter Jones; From New Jersey: Elise Stefanik, Leonard Lance, Frank LoBiondo, Christopher Smith, Rodney Frelinghuysen; From California: Darryl Issa, Dana Rohrabsher. Professor Taylor gives you all an A. No Republican senators voted against the bill. Professor Taylor gives you an F. This not only stands for a failing grade but a good old fashioned f—k you. In my opinion, it’s not only Steve Mnuchin who deserves a gift of horse shit. So do the rest of you. The only thing wrong with sending shit to such as Steve (who lives in a $50 million dollar mansion in Bel-Air and was worth $300 million before the tax cut for the wealthy took place) is the source of the shit. Bullshit - not horse shit - would’ve been my personal choice. Let us pray on this blessed Christmas Day (a day commemorating a poor boy born in a stable not a mansion in Bel Air or Mar-a-lago) that the horse shit that stable would have surely had (and these hypocrites would have treated like Herod did) will soon be driven from DC and eventually into Hell. Signed the American People indeed. That’s the only way to make America great again - that and Mueller who God help us will break this Satan’s spell. God bless the 12 who resisted temptation. God bless them every one. God bless us all - the brave American people - who still stand for liberty and justice for all.
The narcissists are running our country now. You need to understand what this means. Read and share this book today!

“I am delighted that this group of 32 talented performers are coming together to reimagine these two iconic London stories. For those of us who read them alone at home, at school or on the tube, I hope we can reclaim them anew together in the Park. For those who only know them as titles, then let us take you on a trip back to the nineteenth century blockbusters, via 2017. This is Dickens uncovered for everyone.” (Artistic Director, Timothy Sheader)
