Some takeaways and reminders from my experience at the @lafilmprize — - Learn new things. Don’t ever stop learning. - While you’re out there learning new things, make sure to also focus on (or figure out!) what you love to do THE MOST and do THAT even more. - When you find out what it is that you love to do, do it even when it’s not easy (ESPECIALLY when it’s not easy)… do it when you’re at your best, but also do it when you’re at your worst because you never know what you’ll learn from it. - Creative magic can happen anytime, anywhere, and with anyone IF you put your heart into everything you do and stay dedicated to your passion, art, work, and/or craft. - Make things for others but also make things for yourself. Purposefully make things with the intent of sharing them with the entire world but also make things with the sole purpose of making them for you, even if that means keeping them to yourself. It is not selfish!
