Diabolik Lovers (ディアボリックラヴァーズ, Hepburn: Diaborikku Ravāzu) is a Japanese visual novel franchise by Rejet.
An anime adaptation was first announced at a 2013 event called the "Rejet Fes 2013 Viva La Revolution". During the "Otomate Party 2013" event later that year, it was announced that the adaptation would be directed by Atsushi Matsumoto and produced by the Zexcs studio.
Diabolik Lovers (ディアボリックラヴァーズ Diaborikku Ravāzu), abbreviated as DiaLover, is a Japanese anime television series directed by Shinobu Tagashira and produced by the animation studio Zexcs.
Diabolik Lovers More,Blood (ディアボリックラヴァーズ モア、ブラッド Diaborikku Ravāzu Moa,Buraddo) is the second season of the DiaLover anime series which takes its title from the second otome game of the same name, Diabolik Lovers MORE,BLOOD.
However, the second season is not a direct sequel to the first season, but a spin-off based on the second game of the franchise.
Plot
First season
Yui is a kind and gentle seventeen-year-old second year high school student who lived a normal and peaceful life, until her father moved overseas for work.
“Not wanting her to be alone” , he sends her to live with an old friend and his six sons. When she arrives at their mansion, she discovers that they are vampires.
Only to be informed that there is a different, much darker reason she was sent to them. While she optimistically accepts her situation, she unravels mysteries of the Sakamakis' past and her own.
Second Season
After living with the Sakamaki's for a month, Yui begins to have strange dreams and apparitions regarding a mysterious purple haired woman. Her fate takes a turn after she gets involved in an unexplainable fiery car accident with the Sakamaki's.
This incident heralds four new vampire brothers who suddenly appear and abduct Yui for their own purposes.

Passeggiera by Christa Winsloe (LOL)
Previous POST follow-up.
AU what if?
Chris comes to Scotland: My new book is titled Passeggiera. [Very short summary goes here including main character's name, Sylvia Carlsen.]
Scot, an interviever: The character is Sylvia Ca— What?
Chris, calmly: Carlsen.
Scot: You're half-Scot, yes?
Chris: Yes.
Scot: Then why have you done this? We can't pronounce any variation of C-a-r-l, a name or a surname! What have you done to us?! Agrrrr! [Leaves.]
Chris: At least, she's not Carl Carlsen.
(The last part is from a comment to one Scottish video where it was Karl Karlsson. // Chris' "daughter" is cracking a joke.)
⚠️ MAYBE this name is just Chris' version of Sylvia Scarlett, a title character of 1936 film* with Katharine Hepburn. If rearrange Carlse of Carlsen, it's Scarle. Shockingly similar, ja? Ja, und . . . Google's summary has this, "Returning to England from France . . ." In Passegeira, young pianist Sylvia couldn't find a job in the USA and was returning to Italy. And on top of that, Sylvia's mother in the film has died recently, and mother of real Sylvia (Chris' Mutti) died when Chris was 11 years old. Plus, the film's Sylvia disguised herself as a man, so it would be perfect for young version of Chris. This is also (mainly?) why the name was used. Hopefully, Chris liked Kate as Sylvia (JA, Christa Kate and Kate (Katharine) :D)
*I've never watched the film, and haven't been sure where the character is from, but it's not a book as I thought.
ANYWAY, an anagram is clever Chris 👏
EDIT: Sylvia und Sybille had been published in 1931, so at least main character's name (not surname) is an earlier choice.

The Silver Bear Shop and Factory might be the cutest place around, but there’s nothing warm and fuzzy about murder . . .
As manager of the family teddy bear shop and factory, thirty-one-year-old Sasha Silverman leads a charmed life. Well, except for the part about being a single divorcée with a ticking biological clock in small-town Silver Hollow. And that’s just kid’s stuff compared to Will Taylor, the sales rep who’s set on making drastic changes to the business her parents built from scratch—with or without Sasha’s approval . . .
But before Will digs his claws in, someone pulls the stuffing out of his plan . . . and leaves his dead body inside the factory. Reeling from shock, Sasha’s hit with more bad news—police suspect her hot-tempered Uncle Ross may have murdered him. Sasha knows her uncle would never do such a thing, and she’s launching her own little investigation to expose the truth. As she tracks Will’s biggest rivals and enemies for clues, Sasha can’t get too comfy—or she’ll become the next plaything for a killer . . .
Interview With The Author
What initially got you interested in writing?
All writers are, by nature, readers first. As Richard Peck once said, “We write by the light of every story we have ever read.” After visiting bookstores and dreaming of my name on the spine of a book, I decided to take the first step – to write a scene. That led to a whole chapter, and then a book – plus five more before I became published. Learning the craft is the toughest part of the journey, of course.
What genres do you write in?
A friend once said a writer can write anything. I prefer reading genre fiction to literary fiction – those vague endings or runaround plots annoy me at times. And while I have dabbled in sf/f, YA, and children’s stories, I prefer writing historical and cozy mystery.
What drew you to writing these specific genres?
Reading Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes plus Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. I love Christie’s mystery plots. When I decided to earn a Masters in the Writing Popular Fiction program at Seton Hill University, I chose to study historical mystery and hone my skills in plotting, characterizations, etc. The real world may not deliver, but readers absolutely want that sense of justice in the mystery genre.
How did you break into the field?
I wrote a historical western mystery – my version of Charles Portis’s True Grit but set on the 1869 transcontinental railroad. Double Crossing won the Western Writer’s of America Spur Award for Best First Novel in 2012. Quite a surprise for me, since I knew the contest would be tough – and I feel honored to be included among the best.
What do you want readers to take away from reading your works?
A sense of place and a satisfying story. My writing partner, Sharon Farrow, and I have a wonderful time re-creating G.B. Shaw’s Pygmalion witty characters Eliza Doolittle and Henry Higgins and bringing them to life in historical mysteries. For my teddy bear cozy mysteries, I hope readers identify and laugh with my amateur sleuth while she works to restore order to her small town after tracking down the murderer.
What do you find most rewarding about writing?
Creating a believable place, I think – I’d love to visit my setting of Silver Hollow!
What do you find most challenging about writing?
Keeping to the discipline of writing every day. Life gets in the way at times, but deadlines happen! It’s always tough to know if people will enjoy a story, too.
What advice would you give to people wanting to enter the field?
Take the time to learn the craft. Write, revise, revise, revise again. Proofread. Hire an editor or learn to edit your own work, and thoroughly proofread again. Keep reading.
What type of books do you enjoy reading?
I love mysteries, but also biographies, science fiction and fantasy, YA and a well written children’s picture book that makes me laugh!
Is there anything else besides writing you think people would find interesting about you?
I’m an artist – with little time to paint or do crafts, but I try to squeeze that in whenever possible and visit artist markets. Creativity in any form helps writing. I’m a classic music fan, and love movies with Audrey Hepburn or Cary Grant, plus most Alfred Hitchcock movies. But I’m a also a huge fan of J.R.R. Tolkien and J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter.
What are the best ways to connect with you, or find out more about your work?
Facebook and Twitter – like my author pages and follow my tweets! I’m also on Pinterest, which is like a visual corkboard, a feast for the eyes.

Alright, it’s OC secret origins time.
The short story for Sascha’s existence in Earth-24 is that Victor was spiraling into self-destructive depression after his parents' deaths and one night got exceptionally drunk and had unprotected sex with a woman who looked enough like Roman in the dark that he thought it might make him feel something.
The longer, more complicated story is that Sascha's mother deliberately set out to get pregnant because she thought having the child of a grieving man who'd just come into a significant inheritance and must be desperate for a familial connection was a way out of an increasingly dangerous life and marriage.
She really could not have anticipated how quickly and thoroughly Victor was demolishing his life and finances.
She obviously didn't end up approaching him. Initially because he'd lost his entire fortune, so it really defeated the purpose. And then after he took up with Roman because that wasn't exactly a stable, safe situation itself. And she did feel guilty by then. She didn't regret it, really, but she at no point pretended it wasn't a pretty shitty, dishonest dick move. But it was what she felt she had to try.
And she loved Sascha. She raised her as well as she could under the circumstances. Her husband was a low-level criminal in Bludhaven, barely scraping by in and constantly under threat of retaliation from his employers for being pretty shit at his job. He never physically abused Sascha or her mother nor did he frequently lose his temper at them, but he refused to recognize the constant danger he was putting them in in his futile pursuit of underworld notoriety, to the point that he began involving Sascha herself in the work.
She kept up-to-date with Victor, just in case. Every few years she'd write a letter she never sent. There was probably never going to be a good time to say, “Hey, I tried to baby trap you a little under a decade ago. Here’s the result.” But her hand was forced when Sascha was targeted for kidnapping. (This part involves the Court of Owls arc of the ‘verse, so I'm still working out the details. But the Court always hated the Zsaszes--for reasons I'll get into in another post--and were more than petty enough to abduct their grandkid to become a Talon.) At any rate, she gives Sascha the letters and tells her where to find her biological father. Sascha comes out of the encounter with the Talons alive and on her way. Her mother and the man who raised her do not. Though Sascha either does not know or is in denial of that for awhile longer.
And that is how Roman finds a goddamned ten-year-old drinking virgin daquiris with Harley Quinn in his goddamned night club.

Sascha likes a lot of music from the 50s and 60s because her mom would always have the radio tuned to oldies stations, and she'd listen to them while filling out credit card applications with stolen IDs.
Her favorite was "You've Really Got a Hold on Me" by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles.
