Chloe Sherman (b. 1969, New York) is an American photographer known for her vibrant portraits of queer life in San Francisco during the 1990s. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at F³ Freiraum für Fotografie (Berlin), Schlomer Haus Gallery (San Francisco), Kunsthalle Nürnberg (Nuremberg), and Leica San Francisco, and featured in magazines such as The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, and Interview. In 2023, Hatje Cantz Verlag published a monograph of her work, Renegades: San Francisco – 1990s. She is based in San Francisco. Via Artist's website

does anyone know of any historical photography of femmes from any point in time, specifically 70s-90s? I’ve been looking thru Chloe Sherman’s photos from the 90s and have been totally captivated by her depictions of femme people. It would be cool to see more.
