Kei’s Childhood📺💡🔎

Because I’m fucking crazy

This post is to just ramble about my thoughts about Kei’s childhood.

⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧ ⁺˚⋆｡°✩₊⋆ ˚｡⋆୨♡୧⋆ ˚｡⋆⋆ ˚｡⋆୨♡୧⋆ ˚｡⋆⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧ ⁺˚⋆｡°✩₊⋆ ˚｡⋆୨♡୧⋆ ˚｡⋆ -He absolutely loved the ”Where’s Waldo?” Book series and would ask his Dad for a new book every week because that’s how fast she’ll complete the book.

-Always hyperfixates on the news whenever Yoshinori puts it on the TV. Kei watched cartoons of course and even had her fair share of mystery/fantasy books. But whenever it’s on tv he just sits down on the ground and just listens.

-Would often make up crime scenes in his room by setting some of his plushies, use toilet paper as a makeshift chalk outline for the “body”(It was a teddy bear of his) and have her sidekick Maru(a cat plushie) help her during “investigations”

-Grim reminds Kei of Maru whenever they investigate crime scenes together. Like his childhood imagination became reality.

-Whenever Yoshinori and Ida goes into her room during these “investigations,” Kei would alert them by saying: “This is an active crime scene please step away from the premises!” They of course left him to do his thing since they respected their kid’s dream. [Yoshihiko was even more proud whenever he saw her play]

-%100 this kid owned a rubix cube. I JUST KNOW IT! THAT WAS HIS STRESS TOY WHEREVER HE GOT OVERWHELMED AND AGITATED!

-Can name every single case her father has ever been in and often told the kids in her school this knowledge. Which creeped them out because most of them were murder cases and also because Kei didn’t seem creeped out by it.

-Kei got all of that case info from Yoshinori’s desk whenever he away at his agency. I think I mentioned this before but Kei would often read through the files at his dad’s desk and not bat an eye the crime scene photos because he only cared about the documents info. [yes he did get caught and yes Yoshinori was concerned as fuck. Ida on the other hand didn’t really see a problem with it since she was fine]

Ida: What? These little scratches? Of course our kid isn’t scarred by it! Besides she was only looking at the text.

Yoshinori: They’re literal mutilated corpses…

Ida: Yeah and?

Yoshinori:…I can see where Kei got this behavior from.

-Kei picking up a psychology book was the beginning of the end. The way she called people out out back in the day was so accurate that it scared her classmates and it led to a student teacher conference. She was never allowed to do that again or else Kei faced expulsion.

Of course Kei grew out of some of these old behaviors but he cannot doubt the…interesting shit that he did throughout his life.
