I watched Hereditary yesterday and decided to draw Charlie

I love Hereditary because, yeah, it’s a terrifying movie and all, but at its core, it’s a movie about a demon mind experiencing gender dysphoria

That movie hereditary is so disturbing and dark yet i love it SPOILERS AHEAD!!! : I remember the scene where Charlie a 12-13 year old girl gets an allergic reaction to some nuts that was in a chocolate cake in the party her mom forced her to go to with his brother Peter gets her head decapitated by a nearby post after Peter saw a dead deer on the road and had to change routes he is in shock then goes home not telling his parents so the next day his mom goes into the car but the body was the only thing shown what’s more fucked up is that we get a nice view of Charlie’s disembodied head and some ants surrounding it I remember I’m pretty sure when I first saw it I was in tears from shock i REALLY didn’t think they’d show the head before all of this the mom Annie HER mother died and the first half of the movie is then attending a funeral

Peter gets traumatized by what happened and blamed himself even though it was a accident but Annie snaps at him at dinner with the family she mentioned that he didn’t take responsibility for what happened yet Annie made Charlie go to the party they’re both at fault in this situation but I feel like after what happened she wanted to kill Peter she still loves his son but she has a point he should have told his parents first thing instead of going into his room and saying nothing and letting Annie find out for herself Annie has a messed up family history too involving schizophrenia
