Marazhai and Yremeryss make me insane and will probably continue to in ways I can probably talk incomprehensively about forever but this:

Has been rotating in my brain for awhile now just for the implications of what it says about "family honor" as Drukhari may have it, and how it conflicts with rank. Marazhai seems to argue his being wronged on the basis of Yremeryss disregarding what he is owed as her brother. At least from how he talks about his mother and some of his other dialogues about Yremeryss, there's a measure at which sibling loyalty matters against other Drukhari. As he says,"only an Aezyrraesh has the right to take the life of an Aezyrraesh." Therefore, Yremeryss tossing Marazhai in the Chasm to die as arena meat is a sign of grave disrespect. But by that same measure, Yremeryss is Archon of the Reaving Tempest and as long as she sits in the chair, her word is law. Marazhai is refusing to be a proper subordinate in the way his Archon demands by refusing to get out of her way once she felt like it was time for her to move on to bigger schemes than him.

And, it's interesting to me how their sibling dynamic also creates this fragile internal stability in the Kabal...for awhile. Marazhai will always scheme against Yremeryss, and she will always be guarding against him, but that game (as Marazhai sees it) is a game of siblings and nobody else is allowed to join in. No other families could rise to challenge the Aezyrraesh if Marazhai made sure all the rival Dracons were bribed, intimidated, or suddenly discovered the joys of dirt naps. And in that way Yremeryss had at least a modicum of "safety" in that regard because so far as internal threats went, Marazhai wasn't going to tolerate any that didn't involve him. He was, a good functional brother and subordinate for as much as that was worth. But that internal stability became an external liability once they hit a political fork. As the only Dracon, Marazhai sat as the primary rallying point for any opposition to Yremeryss' plans, and thus needed to be gotten rid of. Marazhai, as any good Drukhari would, was itching for a chance to overthrow his sister especially if she was going in a direction that was politically inconvenient for him the Kabal. And, you know, maybe he was a bit overconfident about the reaches of brother privilege if things went wrong. Which left a good opening for someone like Nazrakhei, who had the rank and power to offer both sides what they wanted, an easy crack to exploit that unraveled the whole Kabal (for bit, true success ending dependent ofc).

anyways made some new designs, read more for notes on them, most of them are just references for the future lol

elias shaw (my handwriting's terrible):

•[Amulet's] More pinker to indicate a more "fun" and childish tone

•Host gets a 'shadow face/body' and a neck tracker

•Light does jackshit to it(explained below)

•Messy hair is a side effect for when host is used [for] longer than a month or [a couple of weeks]

•When a light is near them, it actually highlights the scars(that elias earned) and defines features of the host, also their eyes dilates to be exponentially smaller

•Speaking of dilating eyes, they can do that at will like make them big

•The scrawny lines is a part of their design, æthetically, however they become more scrawnier when the host they're using is getting "older" (worn out)

•anyways, they're genderfluid, which means whenever they feel their gender change, they kill some unsuspecting researcher or just a guy off the street and change hosts. they go by any pronouns but prefered pronouns are what host's original gender current are

•scrapbooks their deaths and killings, also stole one of kondrakis empty photo album to store all pictures of his dead bodies and causes of death, for funsies

•can dissappear into the light or darkness, obviously uses it to jumpscare people

•she also has a birthmark on her nose

tbf that carter/nolan rumor about the shit talking about the headaches existed long before it was mentioned on hockey bunny blogs and given how much nol seems to hate carter i lowkey buy it

The only reason I knew about the whole migraine comment was through here, I wasn’t around during that time period to see other things going on about there “beef”. So I looked into it more myself and even went searching through other platforms... on my end I didn’t find anything regarding CH’s alleged asshole comment towards Nolan.

It's also easier to believe now, that CH could say something that distasteful because of recent exposed behaviour. But a comment like that going unnoticed even if it was made up or not is just odd, because it would’ve most likely gained some traction and been talked about, especially within the flyers fan base.

It’s pretty normal for some teammates to just not like each other or not be close, tho they kind of had moments where it seemed like they came off fairly cool with each other more then anything.

I do believe the bees will have a genuine confirmation this season, either with a proper confession or a kiss, but can you imagine if they didn't?

This is probably the final season given the... everything RTs going through, so this is potentially the very last chance they have to cinch the deal

If the bees don't kiss in the final season... the fallout would be absolutely nuclear

For schadenfreude's sake, I hope RT fucks up spectacularly one last time before kicking the bucket

Just finished watching the final AH video. It’s strange, bc yeah I was a fan, but I always felt like such a casual since I never got into their long running series like gta or minecraft. But the parasocial bond really hit hard nonetheless.
